My family and I are big Nando fans. The one at Oxford Westgate has always been reliably good for us with staff and managers always being very accommodating and generous. Still our favourite place to eat.

I went in and ordered a takeaway meal, I was in there for about 15-20 minutes in which the staff were really good-good energy, gave me a water glass and were working hard. I was then given my order-when I got back to my place to eat it it turned out to be another order completely-and one that had been sat on the side since before I got there (had noticed it sitting on the hotplate when I went to the loo on arrival) I messaged the nandos customer service to be told they would get back to me in 7 working days. I am hoping they will give me a full cash refund. It was a shame because the staff were nice but this meal as well as being the wrong meal was not great-rubbery and oily halloumi, and really dry chicken. I hope whoever got the meal meant for me has enjoyed their introduction to flavour.

Food was okay, ice cream machine didn’t work after paying for it and the service was also pretty crap no help from the staff and also waited 45 mins for our bottomless drinks which I had to go up and ask for glasses even tho multiple times they said they would bring over. Staff don’t care I won’t be going back.

We visited early in the evening. Five tables were full so it was quiet. Firstly we couldn't log onto the internet to order via the app so we went to the counter. A member of staff had her back to us and didn't notice we were there until told by another member of staff. We had tried to get her attention but due to the music being played she couldn't hear us When taking our order we asked for no slaw in one of the pittas due to a dairy intolerance. It was quite hard for the person taking our order to understand what we wanted. However, we did hear her communicate to the kitchen that one was to have no slaw. After biting into said pitta, we discovered it had slaw in it. We reported it but we're not offered a new dish so we scraped it out, which is okay for an intolerance just about, but not for an allergy. The restaurant was cold which didn't make us want to stay long. Also upon visiting the disabled toilet there was paper everywhere and it wasn't very clean. When I went to wash my hands I found that the tap moves around everywhere, it was not secure, and I couldn't turn the tap off as it was moving so much and the lever was so stiff. I reported it to a member of staff who smiled and told me to try again as it's always like that. I don't have enough power in my hands....and if it's always like that it should be fixed! I wouldn't visit again.

Absolutely shocking service, food took ages to arrive. The loaded fries came with parts of chicken bones in. Ordered peri chips and got normal. Food was average at best. We complained about the food and the manager had a face like thunder. She also started questioning what we had ordered even though we showed receipts and emails. The absolute worst part is she checked over the food and said it was all “fresh”.

saturday approx 19pm ,waited 25 minute which was fine as we agreed to this, the host taking tables looked busy and empty tables weren't being filled quick enough, people standing around. only 1 person on till taking orders. we were a table of 3.only 2 of the meals came out. butterfly chicken burnt on top and cold (temp) fries undercooked on both plates. i had to get someones attention to say we have not had 3rd meal and has been 10 minutes now.person went to get someone more senior ,i also told the senior person about the chicken and undercooked chips.offered me a new chicken which was very wet in sauce.did not enjoy this meal or experience not happy paying £55 for this food or level of service.i am a regular customer at nandos.

We ate here today for lunch and we just want to say Sal was amazing !! He deserves a payrise for sure . He was running around so much to make sure everyone dinning was happy. The sweat was pouring off him but he still had a great smile on his face and was friendly and polite and that goes a long way .

When you order grilled chicken, by the time you get your plate you could smell thr smoke coming of from the grilled chicken, however my one was obvious that was stale, as it was little bit warm outside but cold inside, and also obvious that my meal was reade just a few minutes after I ordered. the worst thing is that when I gave the feedback, she denied & not even apologised & and kept repeating themselves 🤦‍♀️

Okay visit to Nando’s. We went after the busy weekday lunch rush. There were many items on the menu that were unavailable and food took some time to arrive. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was okay. Would recommend the other restaurants on the top floor of Westgate if you’re looking for a great dining experience.

Dirty...no toilet paper in ladies, lack of service....barcode on table not working, so had to order from bar, order came out incorrect, garlic bread obviously microwaved.... toughened up within minutes....Fanta was not Fanta...cheap orange substitute..... disappointed as this was my son's 17,th birthday party celebration.... recommend nandos revert to table service, and listening to customer.

Nando’s is always a solid lunch option and I’ve always had a good experience there. I wanted to write this review to shout out the Front of House chap who was amazing from start to finish. His name is Sal. He had a smile on his face the whole time, had a great sense of humour and went above and beyond without us asking. It’s also worth mentioning that the food was really good too but big shout out to Sal and I hope Nando’s can keep him and hire more people like him!

I thought I would pop in to Nandos at Westgate. I didnt mind waiting 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was half full. I paid just over 20 quid for a burger, 2 sides and cola. I waited waited half an hour to have my food brought to my table. It was dissappinting compared to the pictures on the menu. The chips were like a child portion and the coleslaw wasn't that much better. Like it had been under the servers hot lamps too long. I felt sorry for the people serving as there didn't seem many. I think i would have gotten better value if I would have gone to KFC. I thought I was getting two chicken breasts in a bun. The server explained to me that the chicken breast had been seared together to look like one chicken breast!? It was dry. Nandos is a great concept at westgate but the food isn't worth 20 quid and not quality restaurant food Making me regret spending that much money there. I have tried Nandos elsewhere which was much better.

We waited 10 minutes for a table in what was a busy lunchtime service, fair enough, we used the time to choose our food from the menu. Upon sitting down we placed an order immediately… after an hour and asking twice our food came, unfortunately mediocre at best. Not what we have experienced at other Nando’s sites. No mention of delays or explanations from the staff. A real shame that dampened our spirits like the weather. Please do better next time Nando’s Oxford…

Nunca antes había revisado un Nando porque son de Nando y conoces la puntuación con Nando y todos tienden a ser la misma experiencia, pero no esta.No puedes reservar una mesa en este momento, así que debes usar un código QR para unirte a una cola virtual, lo cual es una excelente idea y solo tuvimos que esperar unos 15 minutos.Después de entrar y de que nos mostraran nuestra mesa, pedimos bebidas con nuestra tarifa habitual que siempre pedimos en Nando's. Pedimos dos Sangres de los que solo tenían uno en stock. ¿Un sábado por la noche alrededor de las 7 pm? Nuestro servidor estaba a millas de distancia (más de 2 M) de nuestra mesa y prácticamente tuvo que tirar cosas sobre ella, a pesar de que llevaba una visera, y estaba ansioso por dejar nuestra mesa. Nos sentimos como leprosos.Nuestra comida llegó y el pollo estaba muy seco y demasiado cocido, lo que dificultaba su consumo y no se acercaba al estándar habitual que solemos encontrar.Nunca he tenido una mala experiencia en ningún Nando's, pero estaba impaciente por salir de esta.

No he visitado nandos en un tiempo debido a una mala experiencia, pero no en Oxford.Con la situación en este momento con covid este restaurante tiene razón.El personal es amable y te hace sentir muy bienvenido, un agradecimiento especial a Vanessa, ella fue útil y explicó cómo funcionaba el sistema para pedir la comida y las bebidas.Con personal completo y muy eficiente, el personal siempre limpia las áreas y las mesas se limpian rápidamente cuando la gente se va.Sigan con el gran trabajo y definitivamente volveremos gracias de nuevo por una gran experiencia.

Fui aquí para disfrutar de una comida deliciosa solo para descubrir que es bastante caro, sin embargo, ¡mi comida estaba deliciosa cuando hicieron mi pedido correctamente! Pedí una envoltura vegetariana y por alguna razón me dieron una envoltura de pollo, pero se solucionó con el personal servicial. First time trying Nandos as a family, and we were all excited. Others we know highly recommend the place. Walking in, the tills are in front of the door, which is clearly supposed to signal you are meant to order there. However, in practice, this means the tills are a mile away from seating and face away from the customers, so this ended up being confusing when the seating process is setting your expectations for this place as a restaurant with table service. Minor complaint, but it sets the tone for the experience.We go up to order and the music is too loud for our server to hear what we order. Again, a minor annoyance. I hardly took notice of it until the fourth time I had to repeat an item. Charged over £60, so I am expecting higher quality than your typical fast food. A Mayo Chicken at McDonald's is a pound. If you're charging ten pounds for a burger, I expect something a bit more refined.No mention of having to pick up our own cutlery or sauces. Again, I expect better from any restaurant. Another minor annoyance on the pile.After roughly ten minutes wait, possibly more since I wasn't paying much attention at that point, a staff member comes over to let us know that my butterfly burger will take between 20 and 25 minutes. We accepted that, since we wanted to eat all together. Try to order some kind of nibbles, even just bread, to keep everyone going. Never saw them. We saw some go out to a nearby table, so maybe that was where they went.Later the same staff member comes back to say my burger will not have all the parts that make it a burger, but they will add another breast to make up for that. Strange thing to change, but I am not overly bothered. Nandos is famous for chicken, so if that's good, no problem!If. And unfortunately, it wasn't. Had to saw at the breast for an embarrassingly long time to get a piece off, which should have been a bad sign. Chicken was much tougher than any I have had from other restaurants- more reminded me of Iceland frozen chicken. I was extremely hungry and decided it really wasn't worth the effort to complain. General opinion from the whole table was "is that it?"What made it worse was seeing the server who took our order manage to sit down mid-wait with her food so close by despite clearly not being able to order until well after us. Staff seem more unaccustomed to service than outright unhelpful, and the single chef in the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. Manager did not offer anything to make the wait more bearable, such as some kind of appetizers. All staff could use training, and I'm hoping they get that. Prime location next to the cinema and beautiful restaurant, but seems to be run like a fast food place. Will have a look if they make a big improvement, but otherwise probably not a Nandos fan yet.

I went to nandos for lunch as i usually go there when i go to oxford shopping,the food is usually great but on this occasion is was not. I went in there with nothing wrong with me and after i ate my food i had terrible stomach cramps. I called the manager over to explain that i was fine before i ate the meal but told him since i had ate it i had bad stomach cramps. He did not seem to care and told me it was definetely not the food. I explained to him that it must of been because i was perfectly fine before i ate the meal. There was no apology no offer of a partial or full refund and to make things worse he humilated me in front of other customers and when he took there dishes away he said ' everything ok? No stomach cramps or anything?' Absolutely disgusting behaviour from someone who is meant to be a manager i will be reporting him to head office. My chicken in my wrap was only luke warm when it was served so i imagine it was not heated enough which is why i had stomach cramps. His name was telmo. I will be going somewhere else to eat next time im in oxford.

Went for dinner for my sons birthday this evening, food was lovely as always. Staff were helpful however I did have to return to the till on several occasions due to not being given the olives ordered or frozen yoghurt pot. We also had to request more cutlery as none available. I think there were a few ‘new starters’ being trained so most likely just down to this, but overall good food at good prices.

Arrived just before the lunchtime rush - this allowed us to switch our tables as the sun was shining in my eyes.Placing my order was very easy, and the member of staff allowed me to place 2 transactions (to maximise the promotion for a free yellow chilli).I had to use the restrooms to clean my hands and remove my retainers. Restrooms were found to be clean, and appeared to be regularly inspected.The wait for the food was minimal, and appeared soon after I had to returned to my seat. Good portion sizes, and food was piping hot.I look forward to eating at this restaurant again when I am in the area.

Please never argue with your regular customer/s especially in front of a new member of your team. If you can't explain things well with your customers, try not to raise your voice and be rude just to intimidate. We have been treated well in Nandos, George street for 11 years. Why cant you do the same? Also food came in after half an hour, separately. That's tolerable though. I'm more worried about the character of the one in-charge that evening. So rude, bless her.

We went to nandos As a family of 3, we are nandos lovers and have been to lots of them, we probably go about twice a month. My partner went to order, which took over 15 minutes because the lady was training (absolutely fine, got to learn sometime).. my partner told her 3 times she got the order incorrect for his meal and she promised him she had changed it, obviously not, it came and was incorrect, he told her and she gave him a dirty look, no apology and took it away, my toddlers meal then came as an adults meal and I told them that was incorrect and they took it away, same thing no apology just strutted off, I then checked the bill and saw I had been charged for 3 drinks rather than 2, and an adults meal rather than a child's, my child had to wait until we were leaving to recieve his desert (in a takeaway container) as they just wasn't bringing it over. We were refunded by the manager for the things they had over priced but nothing was done about the rest of the meal, we all ate at different times and it was just unpleasant having to point things out to people that just couldn't care less. I love nandos but this one really let's the name down.

Arrived just before lunchtime on Saturday 16th, to find it was quietish which was great! However when our order was placed, there was no bottomless drink, it was out of action....this was not known until you ordered. When placed our order, the amount of food piling up on the side to be taken to their tables were piling up...two young lads seems to walk past this area numerous times touching and moving the plates, which was not very hygienic considering they were leading over themto move the plates under the hot light....we mentioned this to the only waitress serving and was told the food was waiting for its side orders! Whilst waiting for our food there were plates sat there for nearly 10 mins. The two lads were still walking past and continued to clean tables with cleaner, then proceeded to move the plates under the hot light...not very hygienic when you haven’t washed your hands at all! The food needs to kept away from passers by, and brought out straightaway. The plates were waiting for their side order,surely the sides can be brought later! Our food luckily wasnt waiting long the food was very Luke warm. They need to do seomthing about this or no one will go there again.

Ristorante a tema POLLO! Siamo entrati in questo locale come ultima chance dopo che alle 9 ad Oxford i ristoranti chiudono la cucina! Il locale è carino, accogliente, lo staff cordiale. Dopo essersi messi a sedere, decidi cosa vuoi mangiare e poi devi andarlo ad ordinare alla cassa. Il menu comprende hamburger di pollo, alette, insalate ecc. con diversi gradi di piccantezza. Il bere dopo che lo hai pagato una volta lo puoo riprendere all'infinito. I prezzi sono abbordabili. Consigliato se piace lo stile fast food.

turned up at half 1, waited 20 minutes for a table which is expected at a nandos on a weekend, but then we had to wait 30 mins for food. When the food came it was incomplete as only 2 of the 3 dishes turned up. My sister had to leave as she had a matinee show and therefore had to take her food away in a takeaway box which she again, had to wait for!!

We turned up for lunch at 2.30 on a Saturday afternoon - enormous queue served by 2 very slow employees. Then had to wait 30 minutes for food- and that was only after flagging down an employee who went to check. The food arrived shortly afterwards with an apology. It was lukewarm, but we were so hungry that we ate it. No one came to check on our satisfaction. I suspect that the food was sat under the hot lamps for quite some time. Disappointing.

We were shown to a table quickly and the waitress gave us menus and walked away. That was the last we saw of a waitress at our table. After 15 minutes the people at the table next to ours went up to the counter to order. I grabbed a passing member of staff who confirmed that was the procedure. Well who would have known!

I and my boyfriend arrive just before closing time on a Sunday and could see that the staff were packing up ready to go home. We asked if it would be okay to order some food (we'd been searching for a while). The male employee you greeted us was so welcoming and accommodating! They made no fuss at all and gave us a 5* service!! The food was lovely and portion sizes were fantastic!

Visited with my son during a shopping trip at the new Westgate. Luckily we got there just as it opened and were first to be seated. We were served quickly and as we were enjoying our meal the restaurant filled very quickly. By the time we left people were queuing for tables.

After my daughter visited here with a friend as end of holiday treat she was extremely sick that night, during the night and next day she ached and was pale with temperature. She had to be off school to recover. She never is usually ill or sick and loves going here with friends it is very sad and worrying as a new restaurant. I have informed them and will wait to hear back. I also read another complaint online on another search at the same restaurant but a few days previous, this is interesting to know.

We visited here early on a Sunday evening, not peak time you would imagine but this is Oxford city centre after all. We were told on arrival that there would be a 25 - 30 minute wait for a table. Having visited lots of Nando’s before, a wait wasn’t unexpected but it soon became apparent why there was a delay. The place was either seriously understaffed or the staff that were there were not clued up on what they had to do! We counted 14 tables waiting to be cleared. We were seated after about 20 minutes, so a plus point there, however after ordering, the wait for the food to get to the table was by far, the longest that I’ve had to wait in a Nando’s restaurant. About 20 - 25 minutes. When it arrived, it was as expected and the standard Nando’s fare.

First ever Nando’s today, just myself and my two children (12&9). I wasn’t sure what to expect but I have to say I was very impressed. Decent food, great value for money and lovely staff. We shall return for a good feed next time we hit the shops.

Nice tasty food, always a winner. Tucked away at the top of the mall, next to the Curzon cinema. Packed as most Nando's are, but swift with service and with a smile too!

Toilets are appalling, all out of order except disabled. Filthy dirty. No cafe anymore so I expect they think people will just put up with it. Don’t think I will shop in there again!

Firstly, there was a man in the front of me waiting for his order, but he left as he was waiting way too long and other people who was after him get they order before him. While the manager or supervisor, just was there watching what is going on and playing with his phone insted to help the staff. And I order chicken wrap with BBQ sauce and i didn't get any sauce at all. It was dry and tasteless. So disappointed.

Costa in Keighley doesn't sound like a top attraction but the staff members along with the consistent coffee and pastries make it a "must go" place for me.
