McDonald's in Oxford

Closed already at 12am. Shame and bad servıce. Wont vısıt agaın.

Recently Oxford McDonald's has introduced a pin pad to enter their public wash rooms. Do we have to make an order to get the PIN number? I'm a regular customer of McDonald's and have App with points. Today the staff informed that their rules have changed so if a customer wants to use their public toilets they have to purchase food every time. Is that correct?

Says it closes at 3am but is closed at 12 on sundays. Seating area always closed in late evening.

I used to visit the old restaurant occasionally to chill before a meeting or have breakfast. Tried the new place once and I'm never going back... Whoever designed it took a once pleasant space (used to be Leon) and chopped it up into an oppressive cave-like space that manages to feel crowded even when not busy, without enough seating and just stressful-feeling. I don't really understand how they've made it feel like there's no windows, but I felt kind of trapped and like I needed to escape into the light. Luckily there's a cozy Pret across the road, so I still have somewhere to relax!

The wrap was good. Sauces were free.

This was a solid joint to grab a post night out snack from, with plenty of self-service kiosks available after dark. We shared out fresh mozzarella dippers with salsa dips, service was fast too and had them on the bus to our hotel!

The vibes were exquisite, nice flags, doors worked, greeted like in lush, delightful

There lift has been out of order since they opened end of March 2025

I ordered food and got the code for the toilets. When in the toilet a Mcdonald worker came in and waited for me to finish and acted like a bouncer and escorted me out of the toilet. I can't use the toilet in peace without having a Mcdonalds worker standing outside waiting for me to finish. Bad service but good food

Burger patties are disgusting and pale

It's McDonald's. Can any location earn more than 2-3 stars. The staff were kind but the food is always lackluster. Why did we go? Children were divided on what they wanted on an outing and we decided to make one happy. She (7yrs old) ate it for whatever that is worth.

Staff unhelpful. A young lady asked about lost property all she got was shrugged shoulders not even a moment given to here concerns. The floor, sides, small cup lid serviette ( none there) stand were full of rubbish and dirty. The view into the prep area was dismul. The wrap was not wrapped, it fell apart. First and last time. Should of stayed were you were .👎

I visited around 0700 and the place was not busy. It was tidy and clean. However, the design of this store makes it feel like an industrial unit and not designed for comfort but rather bolted down utility. The staff did the minimum. There were no napkins, the lift was still out of order (I suspect just switched off), screens were faulty. So a bare minimum acceptable experience.

absolutamente horrible, vine aquí con mi amigo las colas donde horrenda la planta baja es increíblemente pequeña, se olvidó de mis dos salsas que había pagado y lo peor de todo mi amigo fue servido un envoltorio de pollo crudo que el personal acordó que era rosa y ofreció uno nuevo que rechazamos. pérdida absoluta de dinero y tiempo y el viejo era mucho mejor

I had a breakfast wrap in the new site, further up Cornmarket. I had very friendly staff, breakfast still steaming and a hash brown thrown in as my food was a little late. Always nice to have a breakfast treat to start the day!

The NEW Maccy Ds looks very nice clean got served near enough straight away, also has an elevator for anyone who’s disabled 👍

They spilt half my chips all over the counter, and they were shouting at the top of their lungs, " Order 120 " like we were deaf but other than that, the food was alright , I wouldn't recommend

Great service, the gentleman took us to the table and showed us the available seats

It has recently move a few doors down and i like what they have done with the new place

Sunday 23 of March I went to get my meal, i ordered at 5:11 and didn’t get my food until 20 minutes later, when I went to ask for it the girl that gave it apologised for taking long, meanwhile another worker must of found it funny, she made a face and laughed to herself. Awful.

Very good ,a tiny bit too pricey for a fast food ,served slow compared to other fast food restaurants,very good meal deal - main ,drink and sides-

Burger had no sauce. Milkshake had a funny taste as if milk was off

Food was cold and stale , people touching faces and not washing hands , manager belittled me and made me feel dumb food came with unwanted sauce in the box . Ordered take away but did not get a bag .only alright part was some of the music .my biggest disappointment was that I could hear employees swearing at each other . Would not recommend to anyone as the place seems very unsanitary and I would recommend they head to popeyes instead as I have never had a bad experience with them.

staying at an unusual address so left clear instructions on the delivery note section. driver either refused to read it or couldn't read English. he became very angry during the 3 phone calls trying to direct him. he then insisted there was no 02 arena in Oxford and when he finally did find me on the street outside, he practically threw my food at me and I quote, told me "just take your package" food was cold and hard so wasn't even able to eat it. waste of money!

Food was incorrect , missing the mburger I ordered which was my main meal

I tried to get a refund for this order and was offered £2.72 in credit. The food was initially supposed to arrive at 6:30pm and arrived at 7:45pm. By the time the food was delivered it was stone cold, and the McFlurry was like water…I want a full refund.

My fries were now cold and tough My milkshake had melted at the time it was delivered

Half of my drink spilt . Not very impressed road could have been a bit bumpy but that much of my drink should not have bern spilt.

So I ordered at 6:30 and got it delivered at 8 pm, when the food got here wasn’t overly hot, chips were pretty much cold… I only ordered because I had a voucher but would of been quicker to get it myself!.

Best driver ever, normally items get spilt and ruin the order

The burgers are smaller than in Belgium but it was enough to be able to hit the road afterwards.

I waited nearly 2 hrs and when my food arrived I was very disappointed. It was my burger and fries were cold and my milkshake and McFlurry has melted. Very disappointed!!!

wow. where do I begin, the food was somewhat pleasurable and I most definitely would consider consuming similar items from Ur menu at a later date. the service impeccable the driver uncanny and kind and took great pride in delivering said items before the expected arrival time. and the time it took for him to arrive was outstanding, never before have I experienced such formality and I do hope the driver himself will be moved up the ranks in turn receiving a hefty raise for his amazing service.

Carefully delivered- no spills!

Food arrived extremely cold, fries were soggy and only of half of the drink arrived as most of it was dropped during the journey.

What you expect from a fast food restaurant

Probably the dirtiest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Would never choose to sit inside. McFlurries are always great though and they’re always generous with toppings. Service is pretty fast.

Really bad food was all cold when we got it was mostly wrong the chicken was pink and chips were stale like they were left out for a week floor was dirty and staff were rude will not be coming here

This was the first time I ordered a McDonalds. Not the sort of meal I would get delivered. The meal arrived on time & was tasty. It was complete and well packed.The driver was pleasant with good manners. I will definately order again 🤩

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. Having worked at McDonald’s before, I found this rude behavior from a staff member unacceptable.

Food was not delivered despite the website saying it was and showing the courier as arriving at the address. I did not give anyone the code for the food and it was not received.

The food never turned up to my house

PLEASE can McDonald's look into their APP. I haven't been able to order through the app for several weeks and relying on Just Eat App or order in person when I'm nearby.

The order came 2 hours !!! later and contained ingredients I asked them not to put in my burgers, for I have a strong allergy for them. I would advise you against using this app and the specific McDonald’s.

One of the BigMac burgers in my orders came without a part of a bun. That is very disappointing. I didn’t pay for that.

Drink had leaked , food was cold and it took more than an hour to arrive

order arrived, the bag was wet and dripping, ½ the drink was in the bag instead of the cup because it was spilled. DEFINITELY NOT HAPPY!

This was a pretty good McDonalds, they got our order right and the food was enjoyable. The atmosphere is never going to be a 5 but it's a 'cheap' fast food restaurant with some interesting clientele..the servers were nice enough (I've been in their shoes and know how the job can drain the life out of you). Overall it's a pretty good restaurant.

Burnt burger patties 🤦🏼‍♂️ took an hour and a half to be fevered even though it said 15-30 mins when I ordered?!

Honestly would give it a minus rating if it was possible. I've lost track of times I've ordered from this place and the food has not showed up or either a code was taken and some fraud happened. Tonight was the 3rd time I ordered food and once I gave the drive a pin their was 3 bottles of water in a bag and no food. Fraud

All the food was squashed and the drinks were sideways in the bag which made everything wet

I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for my food to be delivered after a glitch in the browser and my 9 piece mcnuggets being swapped for a 5 piece chicken select after I paid for my first order. I ask for a full refund if possible.

I've ordered cheesy McCrispy with no onion pickle and no bacon, I got ONLY lettuce and onions (no cheese)! Very bad!

Went there on Sunday evening after going to a few pubs. Easy to order, food was prepared and ready in a reasonable time and the burgers we had tasted good.

This is less about the food (which all know is poison but we enjoy it anyway!) and service (people on the counter off friendly doesn’t efficient), this is about the appalling attitude of the shift manager ~ Andrew ~ trying to exercise his ‘authority’ over a guy who was sitting quietly with his (assistant) dog eating his food. This manager Andrew approached him and we could hardly believe the exchange that unfolded infront of us. The manager was rude and abnoxious to this man, who shared a brief piece of his story (that he has lost pretty much everything from his life over the last 4 months... utterly devastated). I just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before on his way Despite this, The manager (definitely is Andrew) still persisted at the gentleman asking for paperwork and Tried to intimidate him with threat of calling security… Bizarre behaviour… Especially as the customer he was talking to even addressed the room to ask if anyone had any objections with the dog being there… not a single person had any issue. The manager would not let it go to the point he sat watching this man eating his lunch then throwing snide comments at him as he left, which we could all overhear. This is shameful behaviour. People like this should not be given positions that give the illusion of ‘power’ … who knows what happened to the poor gentleman after he left but he was not in a good way. May God forgive the manager and his actions. We weren’t the only ones who were appalled by what they saw, it upset many people in the restaurant… so much so that one person suggested calling security on the manager, which Was actually quite a sensible idea given that it was the manager causing the disruption. The gentleman on the receiving end of this treatment literally has nothing, so Im tempted to pursue the matter on his behalf to ensure it does not happen again. ‘Watch this space’ as they say. 🤨

Spent many weekend lunch /dinner here during my uni life. Lots of memories here. Mostly good ones. The only negative one I had was with the manager back in 2001, who rejected my job application right after in handed it to him and tore it right in front of me.. Talk about subtlety 😅😅

Everytime I order, it comes cold and the delivery time is just shocking. I waited 2 hours the time before. The food was cold my drink had spilled out.

I ordered at around 8 pm. The order was delivered at 10.20 pm. By this time, the burger and fries had turned ice-cold. Absolutely disappointed.
