Welcomed and greeted by supervisor Benjamin with outstanding customer service. Had a good crack and had me and my partner laughing away. Beautiful food and helped guide us towards his personal favourites / suggestions. Ben has made us feel very at home which has made me my partner and baby wanting to return. Ben deserves a lot of recognition in our opinion as he’s visibly shown the extra lengths he’s willing to go to for the customers surrounding us. Alfie and summer

Mathew was helpful & changed the chicken 🐓 Last time, the chicken was fresher than this time 🕰️ I will change the star ⭐️ if they improve their quality of food. I know when chicken 🐔 is not fresh. Not just by looking 👀 but, tastebuds. Not done ✔️ will be back 🔜 if they’ve improved their quality or not. If they don’t, I will lower my star rating to ⭐ ⭐ or go up 📈 to ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐ ⭐️

Food is delicious and the staff are so lovely always. Had the Mac and Cheese and really enjoyed it!

Went on a Saturday evening where they had no boneless chicken, so for about half an hour I was the only customer. The staff were all very polite and weren't overly attentive, which must have been difficult when there is no one else to serve.

The moment we stepped in the warmth of the place greeted us as a lovely Gentleman stepped up to usher us to a table. He asked to know if anyone had any allergies which we replied. We then went ahead and ordered online and within minutes, our meal was gently placed before us. We had a Baby with us as it was a little family outing with friends and their child, a kid seat was placed to ensure everyone had a lovely lunch. This is a family centered establishment💖💖💖

The place had a positive vibe, and the food was of excellent quality.

The portions were very small and the sides were even smaller. Very expensive for the amount of food provided. Very poor value for money.

The food was delicious! It was my first time at Nando’s, and I can see why it’s so popular. I ordered the medium-spice boneless chicken—it had a slight kick but was full of flavor. I’m excited to come back and try more dishes!

Yesterday went out with friends from work three of us got cold food the lady we complained too was very rude said she called the manager so he came told us he would make our meal again. So I had brought my meal home I've eaten it lastnight at home and the chicken was raw and taste disgusting can't believe how nandos has gone as I went after a longtime I think staff there are forgetting we actually paying for our food it's not free

icl i waited 40 mins and the wait time in nandos is usually very quick. when i asked the servers i was met w attitude and told its coming to my surprise it didnt. once it finally came the peri chips were cold and the chicken thighs were dry and cold shocking from here ibr i was looking forward to it now i dont wanna come back to this nandos

AVOID THIS BRANCH…Absolutely no customer service. This used to be a nice place. The new staff members have no clue what they are doing. Cold chicken, cold food and more & more waiting time.

I had a very disappointing experience at Nando’s Leicester Highcross. The staff at the front door were rude and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived. To make matters worse, the assistant manager was equally unprofessional and ignored my concerns, which only added to the frustration. It’s unacceptable for a well-known brand to provide such poor customer service. This experience ruined what should have been an enjoyable visit. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service standards.

I love their peri peri chicken and fries. The taste was awesome.

My recent visit to Nando's was extremely disappointing. Despite the restaurant being far from busy, my friends and I were ignored upon arrival and left waiting for 15 minutes. When we attempted to find assistance, the manager, Ben, rudely instructed us to wait to be seated. After an additional 10-minute wait, we had to approach him again, only to be met with dismissive behavior and a poor attitude. This was particularly frustrating as we had a toddler and a 9-month-old baby with us, and we were all very hungry. Upon expressing our dissatisfaction, the manager asked us to leave ( Ben), stating we were not welcome. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend visiting this establishment.

My chicken wire cooked it was nasty. The service was terrible and the rice was cold. And they had ice cream with no toppins.What is the point discussing?Never will eat there again and advise anyone that's thinking about it.Never to do it over expensive for food you cannot even eat

We had a one of the supervisors/ managers named Ben looking after us. He was the sweet soul and nothing was ever a problem, he went the extra mile to ensure both the children where happy and even got them involved. He is one in a million of employees that look are so kind and smiley.

Absolutely amazing service had the supervisor Ben made sure that we were situated properly and that the staff where at the highest of standard, he accommodated one of the children that have severe food allergies thank you for a wonderful evening Ben

Nice big Nando’s with plenty of seating

Saturday night so the 30 minute wait was understandable. Went to order got told there was no garlic bread, no problem placed my order. I then realised I hadn’t scanned my card manager insisted he’d processed it but he was clearly being dismissive. After 45 minutes I was informed our salad and wings orders were out. Ordered replacements and asked to get whatever they had plated as we were starving, manager said nothing was ready…15 minutes later received food. Sent wrong side. Waiter was nice and replaced it swiftly but the manager(30-40ish bald lad) gave us dirty looks. Staff were very friendly but the manager seemed very disorganised and unprofessional, having worked hospitality I can understand the end of a Saturday shift can get tiring but the service was a mess and he seemed out of it.

Ordered a chicken wrap with garlic bread. Wrap was not made properly soon as I picked up the wrap the food dropped out bottom had to call staff twice before being attended to then once the staff acknowledged the problem food was immediately swapped with wrong item twice first served with rice instead of chips then second time served wings instead of wraps then the third time garlic bread was burnt really bad as shown on the picture. Never going to this Nando’s again prefer the freemans one as I have never had a problem there.

Food was great and the service from Amirah was impeccable! She made sure to check up on me a lot , very friendly and attentive .

So upset by the food they served , and it’s been going downhill each time. Ordered the fino pita and there was nothing inside except the chicken, it was so dry there was no sauce and not even a lettuce. Chicken wasn’t even cooked properly. The time before was a similar experience too. Used to be so good but the quality has gone so down now

Tables dirty, waited a long time for food very over priced

Everything was great apart from the quality of the food. My chicken had some really tough parts and didn't have all the bad parts cut off prior to cooking and serving it to me. Ended up spitting most of my wrap out.

Awful experience. The place was not clean. Chicken bones on the floor, no one bothered to clean up. Bathroom looked like it wasn’t cleaned for days. The manager had the weirdest vibe and was rude, when I was looking for some help as one of the dishes was undercooked (chicken was still pink and bloody) he was incredibly rude that the whole table felt uncomfortable. This was the first time in Nando’s for 2 of the people on the table. They forgot to bring dishes out even when reminded that we just asked to box it and cooked it back at home. I felt like I couldn’t complain as I was dealt by rude and unhelpful staff. The food was also not great, even the mash potato was bad and that’s a really hard dish to get wrong. I would actually avoid this place, and I regretfully spent quite a bit of money here for something that was a bad experience.

Not been to Nando’s for many years but saw their veggie menu and thought I’d give it a try. Got it delivered. Had spicy rice with cauliflower and halloumi. Portion was small for the price. Tasted ok but can’t say I was impressed. Hopefully tastes better if you eat in. My wife had the imitation wrap and was also not impressed with the taste. Think the chicken and chips is the best bet from this restaurant.

Went in for a takeaway on 10/08/24. The food was great although rating it 3* as the chicken and wings were not grilled to perfectness. Otherwise the service from the staff was superb and the ambience was bright and lively.

Food was fire and the staff were lovely, the waiting times were decent too.

It was so hot inside and there was no air-conditioning or any ventilation, the tables were not stable and kept shaking, they even put some supporting cartons underneath some!! Compared with other branches, this was not one of the good ones I've tried.

Food is top notch can't complain from the chiefs in the kitchen very well done! I've only been twice so may not be all of the girls but from what I experienced the young girls have a stick on their shoulder slightly moody with not much of a welcoming vibe, when asked questions they didn't know much information and shrugged it off without pointing in the right direction.

Very noisy, food tasty, when it finally arrived (minimum 45 minute wait) but nowhere near warm enough. Toilets/sinks etc absolutely filthy. It wasn’t particularly busy and plenty of staff wandering around. We’ll stick to Granby St or Fosse Park if we feel inclined to have a Nando’s in future.

The food was so dry and nasty. Never coming here again don’t go to nandos in Leicester unless you want food poisoning.

Good service. Restaurant itself needs regular cleaning - it was quiet yet dirty plates were left for ages on some tables. Toilets were absolutely filthy.

Food is amazing and I always come here, service is completely horrible and the wait time was insanely long and they even ran out of the bloody bone chicken. Instead of cooking, the flipping workers have been playing with stickers! Atmosphere was nice but dirty

I am not one to write a bad review but I feel compelled to write one. After several years I looked forward to visiting this branch. The menus were dirty, the tables were unclean. My order was incorrect but due to tiredness and hunger I decided not to change it. I’m not a very fussy person. I can understand human error. The food arrived - the chips were greasy, the chicken shrivelled and not juicy it seemed not fresh. The corn on the cob was ok. I was very disappointed I could have cooked much better or get this meal at the fraction of the price.

Nando's has always been one of my favourite restaurants, however our most recent visit was a huge disappointment. Firstly, we were ignored by the staff, who was busy chatting and laughing behind the counter , once seated our table was dirty and sticky, the waiter wasn't bothered to wipe it until we called him and asked to do it. 10 minutes after placing an order, another waiter informed us that the meal we ordered wasn't available. We agreed to swap the Mediterranean salad for the Ceasar one - so basically after paying nearly £30 we got a few leaves of romaine lettuce with some cheese and dressing sprinkled on top!!!!! Luckily we added some extra chicken tights, otherwise we would have left more hungry than we came. Honestly, I have never been so disappointed with the food and service. This salad shouldn't cost most than £5. Staff seemed to be doing nothing, it looked like there were no manager on the shift. Very, very disappointed

Surprisingly quiet branch of Nando’s. Odd that bottomless cokes were brought to us, rather than the glass for us to help ourselves. Food not quite up to normal Nando’s standards. Service ok, pleasant.

So went our for a day with the Mrs then decided to eat at nandos highcross the service was great the customer service was amazing gotta say a big thank you to one of the team members hudayfa (huddz) he's such a hard working guy he'll bring you fast service great customer service and a smile if you gunna go to any nandos in leicester its highcross or freeman's

Rude worker in Tamworth nandos swore at kids in toilet who were Indecent he then yelled at them to “go quicker” down the stairs causing one to trip over he then mislead the parent making a false story and false accusations towards the children.Unhappy won’t return

I took my elderly parents for their first ever Nando’s experience. They loved it! The team at Highcross Leicester were very welcoming, kind and friendly. The food was excellent. We are looking forward to going back. 5 stars. Thank you

Came here to dine in and was surprised by the quality of the food I don’t know If it was because it was quite busy but the food was just not good my partner found hair in his food and my burger was undercooked although the food was not great on the day the service provided by the waiter Matt was lovely he seemed new and more interested in his job than others did when it came to helping so Thankyou Matt !

I take my grandbabies to Nandos on the regular. It's a lot healthier than a happy meal & literally costs a pound or so more for the Nandinos menu. Always Fresh, hot & tasty. My 10 grandbabies love the unlimited frozen yogurt too. Yummy !

Nandos is the same world over the quality of the food is the same no matter where you go the service is usually good as is the decor. The size of the chicken seems to have shrank where as the prices have increased.

Service was mediocre. We waited 45min to get our food. Cutlery was not clean (I changed 2 pairs of cutlery). They served a table of 10 that sat down after we had already ordered and were waiting for 10-15 minutes before 20 minutes before we even had our food. They brought us the wrong order twice. The place needs some serious cleaning everywhere.

Food is good but the wait is horrible. You wait at least an hour for your food which is ridiculous. And even though the food is good, it does not worth the wait. Even if you order simple half chicken or similar meals, you still wait a long time. It doesn’t take that long to cook those foods. Also I noticed this ones quality of food is not high as the other ones

Nando's is one of our favourite places to eat out, nearly always busy in there, food is mostly served quickly ànd never had a negative experience in there yet.

Huge fan of Nandos here. I have eaten in a nandos at least once per month for years now. This is why I'm so disappointed with my visit to Leicester Nandos on this date. Maybe they were really busy, but I don't think that's really an excuse as the food came pretty quick. Firstly, the soft drinks had no carbonation in them. So it was just flat syrup. Then the food came out cold. We had a sharing platter, and the chicken was cold, the chips were also cold. The side dishes we had, the muscle peas and the mac n cheese were hot. Very hot, so thanks for that. Maybe the chicken was sat out waiting for the muscle peas and the macncheese to cook. Either way, very disappointed. Didn't bother complaining because we were in a hurry and didn't have time for it to be recooked/reheated. Will definitely think twice about visiting a Nandos again, other nearby options more likely to serve their food fresh. Recommendation for the kitchen - get one of those little cheap laser temperature things. If the food is below a certain temp, don't bother bringing it out.

I arrived at 11:00, which was their opening time. however i was greeting by a strange gentleman at the door who told me that they weren’t ready and would be open in next time minutes. I came back 30 minutes later and the same strange gentleman gave me weird looks and gestured another 10 minutes. i finally got a table and when the food arrived (another 30 minutes later), it had tasted like i got last nights unsold stock. I’m currently having stomach pains as of writing. I would definitely AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Nando's can never disappoint when you want a quick meal This time we got the Garlic Churrasco Burger, Wing Roulette and the Boneless Chicken Thighs. The burger is new on the menu that has grilled chicken thighs with pickled onions, Churrasco PERinaise served between Garlic Bread Buns that was light and such a treat. We got the chicken thighs with the new Smoky Churrasco spice and the 10 pieces Wing Roulette has all levels of spices and you never know what you get when you pick up a wing.

Great food, service and atmosphere. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, even helping with an additional order whilst we were enjoying our meal.

The chicken was very dry and luke warm like it had been cooked and left on a warm stove for a few hours. The Mash potatoe was also stone cold in the middle.

Ordered a takeaway and waited over 40 minutes but the food didn't turn up, could even see it waiting on the hot counter but despite loads of staff no one collected the order. Ended up asking for a refund and the leaving, waste of time. Kitchen seemed chaotic and unclean, other customers also complaining of the long wait. Better service in McDonald's

The service in Nando’s Highcross was so great, the place is so cozy and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff are very gentle and polite to customers not just me but other customers too. A lady called Suzanne served me and she’s such a helpful person, she was smiling and serving me she’s gave me a 10/10 service. Keep up the good work

I have been to this Nando’s many times with my family and husband and it has always been a fantastic experience. The team are always friendly, polite and the restaurant is always clean. I love the food is always fresh and hot whether eating in or ordering to take out. A particular mention to the manager Ben, who has always made the experiences enjoyable. He is always warm, welcoming and friendly; as well as going above and beyond to sort any issues with regards to orders

Overworked staff dry chicken Horrible line

It was ok. As usual, you have to wait for a bit despite empty tables. I give a 3 for food because I consider that two of the sides I ordered were way too short. One of them was brocoli, and I got just two stems of it, really? Then I also ordered two bowls of rice, and it wasn't full 🙃 .

Went to Nandos to eat on the 13th dec 2023. Food was perfect. The lady that seated us was great as she managed to get us a booth. The gent who served us was excellent. They made my night as it was my birthday and I got free cake at the end of our meal. No way they knew it was my birthday. Thank you Nandos Leicester Highcross

Good was really late, booked a table and it wasn’t even booked. Waited more than half an hour before we got a table and more than an hour before we got our food

Nice venue lots of room food good, service a bit slow

I can only give a rating on this dependant on how much I experienced and since I didn't eat here, I can only comment on the sizeable queue which we had to wait in. We were about 3rd in the queue when we got there and then another 2 or 3 people came in after us and nobody came to deal with the mounting queue of customers. The restaurant also wasn't that busy, so why nobody was on the door I don't know. In the end, we ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. I feel slightly unfair leaving this review as I didn't eat here, so I don't feel like it's a rounded review on anything other than customer service. But I do personally feel that such a high number of customers shouldn't be left waiting for ages.

I went to this nados and the food is amazing. You can get your own drinks and refill at any time you like. If you don't like talking to people for orders then you can order on their website and they will bring to you in about 20-30 mins. I recomend

Bog standard Nandos. Large roomy space with lots of tables so you'd probably always manage to get a seat.
