This is our go to every morning. A lovely hot coffee with friends enjoying the beautiful view and the weather. definitely worth a visit.

great little cafe near sea and sand dunes in North Great Yarmouth, near the Venetian Waterways. Specially welcoming for dogs! Small inside seating area but on a nice day sit on the terrace. Wonderful bacon and egg butties.

Had a big breakfast this morning, 3hrs later I'm trying to make room for a coffee, it was massive,well cooked hot absolutely 💯 per cent, and to be able to eat it outside in the sun what better way to start the day, oh and the coffee was good as well.

Visited yesterday for lunch had two sandwichs and two drinks. Order came quickly and they seem to be very efficient, and cheerful staff. There is a choice of seating either inside or out on the terrace. As it was very hot we sat inside, I would suggest parasols could be a good idea. Would return if in the area.

Three of us and my dog visited. It was lovely sitting out in the sun having our drinks. We then moved in to eat as the wind was cold. It was such a pleasant experience. We had scrambled egg on toast and chips. It was freshly cooked, arrived in good time and the service was super friendly, as were the other customers. Thank you!

Great for people who like to walk their dogs on the North beach. Very friendly, seating mostly outside but some inside. We often pop in for something to eat when we have a day out walking the dog on the beach. The dog often has a sausage too.

Great staff and excellent snacks and drinks. right there on the beach. dogs made very welcome and even invited inside the servery where they are given a treat.

Visited on a cloudy morning after 2 glorious days when Great Yarmouth was the warmest place in the country and was so surprised to see rain.No problem however as we were seated on a large table under a gazebo.Having no cash was not a problem either .We ordered food whilst taking the dogs for a walk to the nearest ATM machine which was very close.Food was very prompt, good quality and they even had white hot chocolate.It was lovely to find a dog friendly place to eat and be able to access the beach.As we were early parking was easy too.Would happily return next time we visit the area.

Visited on 6 occasions for breakfast whist staying at the nearby Haven caravan park. Friendly service and very dog friendly. Will definitely use again if in the area. Recommended

Ordered 2 breakfasts and a toastie. Sat outside with great views out to sea . Food arrived quickly and was a top breakfast made with good quality ingredients. Perfect for us as dog friendly .will be sure to return next time we visit Great Yarmouth

A very friendly and welcoming place. Very good food at very good value and friendly staff. Service was swift and excellent. Portion sizes for the child meal was very good. Great for a quick refuel.

Once again this little gem has delivered excellent service. The staff are friendly and the table service was quick and efficient. The coffee and the hot chocolate were as good as ever and very welcome as it's not been too warm. I would not consider going anywhere else for morning coffee.

Situated on the promenade overlooking the sand dunes north of Great Yarmouth. The food is plentiful, cooked to order and well priced. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Stopped off for a snack and was totally impressed. Seating outside due to covid and excellent procedures that are followed. Superb toasted sandwiches and hot chocolate. Friendly staff will certainly use again.

Visiting family in Great Yarmouth and saw Munchies on seafront, really popular place, so thought we'd stay for Breakfast. Really really surprised, the standard of both Sausages and Bacon were excellent. Much better than the standard in B&B's and Hotels that we've stayed in. Really pleased and Breakfast is big enough to fill you up. We will visit again

hired a beach hut for the day with family and friends well worth every penny having a lovely day watching the children play having a lovely picnic owners are really nice sun shining children happy what more do we need

Went here to get a coffee and food while on holiday, we have a blind rescue dog that has anxiety, so we sit her on her daddy’s knee to feel safe, we got told the only way we could get coffee was to put my blind dog on the floor where she *wouldn’t feel safe, I explained she blind and on her daddy’s knee but he said rules are dogs stay on floor only, she wasn’t on any table just on her daddy’s knee and he wouldn’t have it, so we left, if he is so heartless like this then no way would I give them my money. To me that was totally uncalled for and ppl going there for food and coffee, what is he doing that customers don’t know about.

Staying on Great Yarmouth Racecourse caravan site and Munchies was recommended by the wardens here. We were not disappointed and had a lovely and very reasonably priced toasted sandwich on the way back from our walk into town. Very friendly staff and the treats for our dog went down well. We’re here for another week and will definitely return.

We visited here last time we came to Great Yarmouth and were so impressed we decided to make it our first port of call. We were not disappointed. The staff are lovely and the food delicious. Portions are generous and they make a great cup of tea. Highly recommended.

Stopped off for a bacon roll and sausage in a roll plus coffees. Cooked fresh to order. Was great, sitting in the sun, looking at the beach. Definitely recommend

The food is nice. But was left disappointed by how We were treated as an LGBT couple. Really unfriendly. Very sad to say this. Everyone else was treated very nicely.

Very often walk along this part of Yarmouth with the pooch. Normally stop for coffee a bit further along , heard so many good things thought we’d give it a bash.Coffee (latte) , hot chocolate , coffee cake and sausage for the dog. What more could you want. Nice outside chairs and pooch welcome inside too. Handy being so near toilets too as find this a problem along this stretch of seafront.Definitely be back and hopefully not quite so breezy, lovely to sit and watch world go by ...

The wife, dog and I stopped in for lunch. The food is great and we couldn’t move after but there’s plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view, on a clear day in sure you can see all the way across the sea to the coast of Alkmaar in the Netherlands! Staff are lovely and big dog lovers.

We visited this beach cafe after an invigorating walk along the seafront. Our dog was met by the owner, with a biscuit. Very good move. Clearly dogs are very welcome here. Lovely coffee and cake. Very helpful staff.

Went for a very bracing walk on the seafront, grabbed some papers and took myself off here for brunch. What a find! Beautiful eggs, toast etc and all served with a lovely smile from the very helpful staff. Will go back to sample their lunch soon.

We go here a lot, take the dogs on the beach, for a paddle in the sea, a great place to meet up, and have breakfast, great value, very kind and friendly staff, they love dogs, and even supply dog biscuits free, even a sausage.we have meet some lovely people and their dogs, what a magical place.

We visited last weekend with my parents who are regular visitors. It’s a really fab little place and the value for money is fantastic.

Having just returned from our holiday in Great Yarmouth I just had to leave a review about this lovely cafe. After walking our dog along the beach we found this cafe by chance, we arrived and sat outside and were greated by a very friendly gentleman who immediately gave our dog a treat and said we were welcome to sit inside if we preferred. As it was a lovely sunny afternoon we stayed outside, once we went inside to order we were very happy to see that they had two homemade gluten free cakes available a Victoria sponge and a coffee cake, as my husband is a coeliac he was delighted and chose the Victoria sponge, I am not a coeliac but as I love coffee cake and I chose this, they were both delicious. Other cakes were available as well as sandwiches etc and dog treats and dog sausages and yoghurt were on the menu too so they are very dog friendly. The coffee was lovely too. We enjoyed it so much that we made sure we went again before we came home and again it did not disappoint. With lovely views over the dunes to the sea it is a perfect place for a quiet lunch or treat with your family and dogs.

The good lady and I came here Sunday for breakfast and were greeted by the lovely staff. Wife had a bacon roll and I had soft duck eggs! It had been years since I had soft boiled duck eggs but they were yummy! We will be back and please try this place out! Great service and lovely breakfast I can see why it’s so popular. We went here by chance for breakfast on Sunday morning. The food was delicious, served by a lovely waitress. They are dog friendly and certainly people friendly too!!

Really nice, clean and friendly little café on the promenade. Walked with the dog and there were dog biscuits and I believe some dog owners also ordered sausages for the dogs too! Lovely pot of quality tea and a delicious toasted cheese and tomato sandwich sitting outside overlooking the dunes and sea. Definitely worth a visit.

On a day trip to Great Yarmouth we happened upon a wonderful little cafe on the sea front that looked like something out of a picture postcard. Tiny little blue and white cabin set on decking looking out to sea, set far away from the hustle and bustle of Great Yarmouth centre. Not only was the location amazing but the staff could not have been friendlier and they had a real cappuccino machine, as well as great food. They did full breakfast, and bacon or sausage rolls. Also saw a home made cake being finished off with real cream. What a delightful place.

We had the best breakfast all week in Munchies. Dog friendly and people friendly too. The food was lovely and the service was good.

Re visited yet again.. Had to check out the sausage sandwiches and pleased to announce they are as good as ever !

Very friendly owner made us a delicious egg and bacon roll and a coffee to compliment our dog walk on the dunes. We sat with the dogs and the waitress was very nice to them :) great service!

Great food great service. Away from the hustle of the strip. We eat there all the time you can sit inside or outside it right on the beach.

This cafe does a sausage for the dog which comes in a little dog bowl, our cockapoo Barney loves coming here!! We also like the friendly staff, lovely hot coffee and bacon and egg or sausage sandwiches after a long walk across the dunes and on the beach.

Good home made food and service, great for families and very dog freindly, super beach huts to hire.

Tucked away to the north of the resort just where the sea front parking becomes free, I have missed this before because it just does not look like somewhere to get food. Set away from the road towards the beach it looks like container storage and the flag really has not grabbed my attention before.

Munchies is in a great location right on the edge of the long stretch of golden beach at Great Yarmouth. We arrived there en route walking from Caister to GY and on a stunning, sunny day it was a great place to stop. Good selection of drinks, home-made cakes and bacon rolls! Plus catering for their four legged customers there was plenty of fresh water & also special doggy frozen yogurts (which Scamp thoroughly enjoyed). Friendly, helpful staff and we'll worth a visit! Look forward to our next time.

Fancied a coffee this morning whilst walking the dog. Decided to visit Munchies for a Bacon Roll and Coffee, tasted good. Great value and all staff were very friendly. They even gave my dog a treat. Top marks, might make this a regular stop on days off.

Arrived in Great Yarmouth ahead of check in time at hotel, we hadn't had breakfast and then found Munchies. Staff were friendly and everything was spotlessly clean. We had rolls with sausages, onions and sweet chilli sauce, freshly cooked and delicious, with a side order of chips (huge portion) and a very good cup of tea. Amazing value. Munchies also offered beach hut/deck chair hire on a lovely sandy stretch of beach. Highly recommended.

We briefly stopped for a drink and rest before our walk. This end of Yarmouth is about to have major restoration but all credit to Munchies for keeping the flag flying. Toilets available at top of beach and well maintained by Munchies and another cafe nearly. Lovely dog friendly spot. Also has boardwalk access to help with buggies and wheelchairs.

Just stopped here for breakfast again with my dog. Had scrambled eggs and bacon on toast and a hot chocolate which, as always, was tasty and hot. My dog had a Frozzy which she really enjoyed and cooled her down on this warm day. This is a busy little cafe, much busier than the others along the promenade and rightly so because they have a great menu, the food is always nice and the staff are friendly and welcoming of dogs. There is never a long wait though. Keep up the good work and see you again very soon!

We visit munchies every time we are in Yarmouth. As always it was lovely. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to go back. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work & positive attitude.

I suppose it has to do with our preconceived ideas about a beachside food establishments and perhaps our previous experiences. But this place served freshly cooked and very good quality lunches at a very low cost. I was impressed. There was clearly a pride in what was being achieved here. The café deserves to continue to succeed because it is a very good facility. There are nearby public toilets, which, I understand, the staff from Munchies keep clean too.

This has got to be our favourite place to visit with our dog holly.Great fresh cooked food, and Gluten Free food as well.Holly loves the sausage and biscuits available. Staff are very friendly.

Stopped here by luck as the cafe is located near the (very clean) toilets. Was delighted to find sheltered seating outside, lovely views and an excellent menu plus goodies for dogs. Our dog had a sausage presented in a dog bowl, and we had delicious and very good value bacon rolls. Lovely mugs for the tea too! What a gem, highly recommend it.

What a find! We had just come off the [unfortunately very pebbly] beach with 2 little ones under 7 years old. This informal terrace [there was even a place at the side with tables in the shade] was ideal for us - we had a great view over the beach and the little ones could wander in the safety of the large terrace. Really nice food with some very imaginative cakes. Pleasant service. What's not to like?

Super little place. We had the falafel and spinach burger and chips which was delicious and very reasonably priced at £4.50. We are definitely going again. Really dog friendly too... bonus!

An inexpensive, well presented cafe. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was good and well presented. There are a few tables inside for those breezier days on the sea front and a sheltered out door area tooDogs allowed inside. Not keen myself but they were well behaved. A good spot to stop while strolling the seafront

This is the first of the cafe stalls along the seafront promenade from the north of the resort, ie. Haven Seashore, and when we popped inside, because it was too windy outside to eat, we found it crowded and although there was a free table there was a chaotic atmosphere. The breakfast items were expensive (compared to the coffee shack a few yards away) and less choice. The cakes did look nice, so perhaps we will come back in the afternoon when it's quieter. No one acknowledged us, coming in or leaving, a shame.

If you have a mutt then this place is brilliant, well behaved dogs welcome inside, water for them outside even a sausage for the dog on the menu at 70p supplied in a bowl, hounds aside the food is good old British cafe grub, well cooked really tasty and good prices! A true little gem tucked away on the beach

I love this place staff are lovely, lovely atmosphere ,dogs are more than welcome and catered for, most importantly coffes great n breakfasts oo n all cakes made on premises I recomend the cherry one def highly recommend ed

Munchies by the beach in Great Yarmouth do a great breakfast whether it is a full one, a Munchies breakfast or a veggie breakfast. Also do loads of other foods. Shut during the Winter but we visited during October half term most days and always left happy. Great for dogs as well, water and dog sausages available.

Great food and atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is really nice I love the cheese and onion toasties. They also dog friendly.

Returned to Norfolk on holiday, so had to return to munchies. Warm welcome for my wife and I, and our two dogs. Totally satisfied on leaving, great food once again. Will have to return!Thanks Margit and Mark!

My first visit in Great Yarmouth took me and my friends with 2 little dogs on the beach with a lovely surprise. Munchies is a dogs friendly cafe. Absolutely delicious food for peole, reasonable prices, nice staff and snacks for free for dogs. Nevertheless I would like to add that water was unbelievable warm in the North Sea.

I love this cafe - I often go when I am working and like it so much I have started going when I am not working! Nice to the dog (he likes the sausages) - food good, great views from the deck chairs. fab. dont change anything!!

We stopped by for a bite to eat and a milkshake. The food was pretty good and a fair portion size. We're personally not fans of the cheap sauce sachets and prefer to just use sauce from a bottle. The milkshakes on the other hand, were disgusting. They were slightly warm, thin consistency and tasted poor. The beach hut nearby do the best milkshakes by a mile, real ice cream ones. We would return again when the beach hut is closed but would choose a different drink.

Always have a lovely experience here, yummy food, great friendly staff, and right near my house so lovely place to visit after a walk with the dog. They're also patient with him as he is very anxious and likes to be ignored by strangers lol. All in all, a great place.

We paid £18.00 to hire a beach hut and it was brilliant. Basic deckchairs, windbreaks small table, we had a wonderful day on the beach and would highly recommend hiring a beach hut

After walking the dog on the north beach the cafe is a nice place to end. Looking over the dunes with a nice cup of coffee and bacon and egg bap. Well worth it. It is in need of a lick of paint but the owner has explained the reasons for this in previous comments. Very dog friendly and the staff are always polite. Keep it up
