Muffs of Bromborough in Wirral

Bought what was supposed to be pork. All it was turned out to be was gristle and awful spicy stuffing. Absolutely awful and they charged a kings ransom for it. Never going back again. They don't issue a receipt so you can't see what they have charged you for. Appalling.

won't go anywhere else for our BBQ food now. everyone needs a good muffs in their life!! you may pay more then the supermarkets but can not fault anything ever!

Chicken was dry. Chips were cold. Pulled pork looked more like scouse. £8 for a meal deal. Pretentious crap. Won't be returning.

I love haggis. For years I have tried buying it from everywhere I can.... Supermarkets, butchers and even special delivery from Scotland. Muff's haggis is head and shoulders better than any other in my opinion. It isn't fatty and has a good level of spice and flavours. At last, my search for the best haggis is over!

Just popped in while in the village to get my wife a snack, they didn’t have what she likes from there and had to have a 3rd choice because they didn’t have much stock left, then when I went to pay by card was told it was a minimum charge of £5 to use a card, with everything that is going on and being asked to use contactless as much as we can you would think this shop would change/adapt to the new way of doing things, not impressed and won’t be going here again.

Muff was my go too for lunches. However, the last few times the food has been extra salty. Teriyaki chicken used to be good but now it's salty and the portion size is small if purchased with rice or chips.

What a fantastic butchers to have on your doorstep. Real quality, products that you can really taste the difference in. Worth spending the extra few ££ and getting your meat from here. Sausages are always a winner!

I have recently moved the area and love going to a local butcher. Muffs looks like a lovely choice, beautiful exterior and clean and modern looking inside. I purchased beef wellington to give it a try and they were absolutely awful. The meat inside literally went to my dog. It appeared to be a folded piece of minute steak, with loads of grissle. £8.50 on two VERY dissapoiting wellingtons.

Excellent variety of meat, cooked meat, cheese, hot and cold food, preserves and fruit and vegetables, a little pricy but you get what you pay for, friendly service, I take 2 buses to get here it's that good!

Nice selection of meats and also slimming world/healthy eating options, nice and friendly staff. Very clean

Lovely tasty deli food. The curry's are really tasty excellent value for money. Loads to choose from.

I always call in here when I am in the area. The meat is good but then so are most small butchers. What this shop excels in are the items made by them particularly the puddings (both black and white) and the sausages. Delicious!

Highly recommend everything that Muffs sells. I live locally but have recommended to work colleagues in Chester ...who now go regularly in their lunch break to stock up on meats and ready meals.

Somewhat of a local celebrity is Mr Muff, the sausages are superb and have won a number of awards. Do yourself a favour and give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

For such a well presented deli / butcher i was surprised to see such a poor hygiene rating from wirral hygiene.gov I have rated this review the same as it . not good enough and i will not shop there until it improves get to a 5 star and display with pride instead of hiding the sign from public view

Steve & his lovely staff are so clued up on what you choose and how best to prepare it, you can't fail.

Amazing food from the uncooked meat selection with a range of amazing flavours of sausage and pre-prepared meals to the hot and cold selection at the deli counter where i find i can never decide which sandwich, salad or meal to go for at lunch time!!!!

Me encanta este lugar, la comida es buena, la pena viajar 10 kilómetros mi camino para abastecerse. Salchichas y rollitos de salchicha para morirse. Otros carne todo bueno y una fantástica variedad de platos frescos listos. El contador de comer también ofrece una gran variedad de sabrosas delicias. caliente Solo me hubiera gustado que hubieran tenido una sucursal más.

Yo trabajo a la vuelta de la esquina, y de todos los lugares a poca distancia, este es el lugar para tomar el almuerzo. Gran selección de bocadillos para el almuerzo y las comidas en una caja. El personal es muy amable y agradable.

Había oído los pasteles de cerdo son los mejores, pero no esperaba ser un Calientapiés fabulosa durante todo destino gastrónomo. Increíble selección butcher, comidas en contenedores listos para poner directamente en el horno; excelente quesos; las comidas calientes y fríos. Absolutamente todo preparado para Primera clase. Personal muy atento.

Have been to this shop a number of times and have never yet been disappointed,their cumberland sausages are soooooooooo deliscimo!! will definitely be going back AGAIN!

Muffs offer great quality meats and the staff are always so friendly and go out their way to assist. The store has gone through a fabulous refurbishment and it is just what bromborough village needs.

Hay una razón u orejeras ha ganado muchos premios por su producción, todo lo que venden es siempre delicioso! Regularmente en algunas salchichas pop y morcilla para un desayuno inglés completo, o algunos para una barbacoa bistec teriyaki. El personal es amable y acogedor y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Hay una buena variedad de productos, y ya entrando en un edificio más grande que ofrecen un montón de fruta fresca y verduras, salsas y condimentos y una tienda de mostrador para comer rápido!

The new premises are very nice and inviting with a good selection of meats, deli, salads, sandwiches etc but what amazed me was the hygiene of the staff serving you. The staff on the deli side wear plastic gloves which is good practice for handling food, cold meats, bread, baked potatoes but they then take the money from you with the same gloves on and we all know the amount germs that is carried on money. Why wear the gloves at all, sorry but no I will not be using Muffs again until they get their hygiene sorted.

The take away food is always fresh any really tastes great And their sausages are to die for 😜😜😜 a TRUELY great place

I work closely to Muffs and visit a lot. The food is fantastic and the new premises is also great. Strongly advise a visit if you are in Bromborough

If you like pork pies muffs is the place to go .They also serve all sorts of goodies at lunch time and their scotch eggs are so tasty and quite big its all fresh but get there early as the line at lunchtimes is often very long

Fuimos hoy aquí para comprar unas salchichas. Pide un determinado tipo de lo que me dijeron que "estás ciegos, hay algunos hay" como el asistente señalando hacia las así llamadas salchichas. Pedí cuatro entonces dijeron que "es que todo lo que quieres" que era absolutamente gob acostumbre disgustados y la manera hablaba. No volveré a esta tienda ya que no se habla de así como un cliente que paga. Absolutamente repugnante.

Try to buy our sausages in bulk and freeze from Muffs. The range of flavours they produce is amazing. Favourites are Millennium, Scouse and Chicken with Black Pudding. Yum !!

Award winning sausages which are lovely, great choice of other meats too. Wide range of lunch options which varies from day to day. Well worth a look if you're in Bromborough.
