I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—everything we ordered was flavorful and clearly made with care. Our meals arrived swiftly, and each dish was beautifully presented. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy spot with top-notch service and amazing food. Can't wait to return!

Regular haunt for scones and coffee. Do have other food occasionally and is always good. Busy at weekends

Upon recommendation from someone else, I decided to arrange to have my mother's funeral tea at The Atrium Restaurant. From start to finish, Terry and his team were absolutely brilliant and took all of the stress and worry away from organising everything. We booked the afternoon tea for 30 people and it was wonderful and such good value for money. A section of the restaurant was sectioned off and was ready for our arrival. I can't thank Terry and the team enough for the service they provided to us.

I visit regularly with my elderly Mum who suffers with Alzheimer’s. The food is consistently good ( Best Toasted Teacakes anywhere ) But equally important - The staff are lovely. I would particularly mention Alice who has gone above and beyond to welcome us.

Nice enough food, slightly over priced

A cafe/restaurant attached to Carr Farm Garden Centre. From cakes, teas and coffee to meals ideal for breakfast brunch lunch and afternoon teas can get busy at weekends.

Fair priced , good quality and mouth-wateringly delicious . £25 two very large brunches and 2 drinks . Staff were lovely and attentive , as they have been every time we have gone. I want to make a lot more trips here . Maple bacon was superb .

Visited a couple of times over the past few months. First time we ordered the chicken Caesar salad - arrived with a bread roll which was nice. The food was really delicious and a very good portion. Our second visit, was for coffee and cake. Both had cronuts - mixture of croissant and doughnut filled with cream, topped with chocolate and icing. Fabulous but very filling. The cafe is large and airy with a good choice of food available. Staff friendly and polite. Would recommend and return

With a relative from Canada we thought to have lunch in the Atrium. While a lot meals looked good and the service was good the meal was awful. Two bowls of veg soup consisted of two like warm bowls of water with a half a small carrot in a piece of potato. The Eccles cake after was so hard when trying to cut in half it shot off the plate. Really such a poor lunch and not cheap. Would go else were in future.

Returned after a long hiatus. Even though the restaurant was full, the food service was quick. Great selection of fresh cakes, homemade pies and some great specials. Food portions are big and quality of the ingredients are exceptional. Quite pricey but worth it.

Lovely coffee shop but felt choice was a little limited although it was late afternoon when we arrived. Pleasant and friendly staff

What a fantastic coffe shop/restaurant for a garden centre! It is surprisingly big with plenty of tables and fabulous food, the vegan chocolate muffin was so good we questioned it wasn't actually Vegan! Great coffee and good range of food from light bites to substantial meals. It is all table service so find a table first and remember the number!

As a family we decided to stop at the Atrium for lunch during a visit to Carr Farm. We have been here before a few years ago, but only stopped for coffee at the time. We were surprised how much seating was provided and we were able to find a family table and easily located two high chairs, even though it was half term and the restaurant was quite busy. Everything was clean. The menu looked really comprehensive and would probably suit most tastes. We went to the counter and ordered our meals which were then duly delivered to our table. The two main things which pleased us: (1) The quality and amount of food was exceptionally good for the price paid; (2) nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and it was most definitely 'service with a smile'. We shall certainly return in the not too distant future.

We live in Spain and wanted to organize an afternoon tea for my sister's birthday. From my first enquiry Terry was helpful and accommodating, ensuring that we were able to arrange this from a distance. Very helpful and speedy communication. We were very impressed, and I'm sure my sister will have a lovely time. Thank you Terry

Love atrium restaurant the food is very nice. Give you plenty on the plate. The staff are veey friendly.

Extremely slow. Takes way too long to wait for 2 teas. It takes seconds to make so why do we have to wait over 10 mins after paying? Poor service.

Ignore reviews here that are five or six years old. We have been here several times in recent years and found the coffee/food quality and service to be more than satisfactory. Its not cheap (like all garden centres). Pleasant layout. Often busy with the blue-rinse set. U get wot u pay for.

Staff are lovely and its very clean. Food quality was poor. Ordered bbq panini, the filling was bone dry and it was more like a dried out tomato sauce than bbq.

Ordered Bacon batch.. Asked for bacon to be well cooked... Came almost raw. Sent it back.. The batch came back semi cooked oneside still semi raw on other side, sent it back 2nd time via manager came back still half raw.. Terrible.

Christmas decoration shopping didn’t disappoint once i had been for lunch! It was possibly the coldest day this year and I walked into such a cosy cafe, the place is huge and very busy. I ordered from the specials board, a ‘yorkie wrap’ and a pot of tea. It was unreal, the wrap was like Christmas on a plate! I saw several other customers around me also having the same so I know I’d picked well :) I can’t wait to bring my sisters here soon for a Christmas catch up. The service was so fast considering the cafe was full and the atmosphere was busy but had a lovely feel to it with the Christmas music and gorgeous decorations.

absolutely awful experience, waited 40 minutes for cold coffee! staff didn't seem atall bothered. Wont be going back! Shame really as it used to be so nice!!

Booking a table by phone was easy.

Overpriced and terrible service. I’ve visited twice in the last 3 weeks and both times only ordered drinks, both times they took ages to arrive and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The staff are disinterested and the place looks tired.

£4 for an oat milk flatwhite, to then come not in a flat white cup. If I'm paying that much I at least want it done right

Took my mum and kids for a cuppa and cake two weeks ago as a treat. Spent £34. Food looked lovely. Had a fab visit the week prior. This visit was shocking. Cakes and drinks arrived. Cutlery filthy. Cups smeared with chocolate cake. Milk jug dirty. Asked for new one, young waitress slammed the new one down in front of us without saying a word. A tea pot arrived empty. When I queried this they said the empty one was to refill the other, so one teabag between two people!! They said they would sort out. Still no sign after 10 mins, I had to go to the counter. They then said oh we should have given you a big teapot with two teabags in and promised to bring another..... another wait........ I had to go up to the counter again. I have contacted Carr Farm about our shoddy experience with no reply. Guess they are really not bothered..... I really am disappointed by the experience and lack of response from the Management!!

we went for afternoon tea, there were 8 of us and they brought us a platter is 10 small sandwiches they brought another platter with 6 small sandwiches it was chaos, the tables were not set with crockery only a plate with jam, butter then cream was brought. No cups or saucers had to wait ages for them then no spoons it was a complete and utter joke. Half of us got a pot of tea the others got a pot of water had to wait ages for the rest. We only had tuna and ham, if you didn't like them well. We asked for egg another 12 minutes it was an absolute farce. We got 3 small sandwiches, 1 cake and 1 scone. Terrible value they must be making a fortune. We were stuck up against a wall. Will never go again and would not recommend this venue to anyone. The girls were lovely it wasn't their fault the manager is crap I wouldn't put him in charge of my dog.

Food, as always, was delicious! Food waitress was lovely! Only gripe was the drinks service. The coffee and tea was brought by a young waitress who bumped the tray onto the table pouring coffee into the saucers. I politely asked her to bring us some serviettes so we didn't drip it on ourselves when drinking. Neither of the teapots had tea in so I took them back and asked the same waitress for a tea bag. A bag was thrown into the pot and I picked up some serviettes to mop up the spilt coffee as clearly none were going to be brought to us! She never once spoke and her attitude can only be described as surly. A "sorry" would have made the experience much more pleasant.

Excellent coffee and large selection of food

Overpriced average café, this was meant to be extra thick toast ? It arrived 10 mins after my cup of tea and was stone cold and for the price of it I could have bought a loaf of bread ! I only wanted toast and butter but the only way I could order it was with jam ? Really.

Ordered vegetable soup and cheese and Branson sandwich. £10. Overpriced and the soup was just water with veg in it and it was only luke warm.The sandwiches didn’t have much cheese in but they had an abundance of Branson pickle which overpowered the sandwich. It’s a strange place.

Christmas dinner excellent. Staff although rushed gave excellent service. The tables were a bit cramped but everyone enjoyed themselves.

Visited the Atrium Cafe which was very busy (good to see) and ordered sandwiches (prawn mayo) and soup. Wonky table aside, when the food came it was clear the team have literally been cutting corners trying to maximise the number of portions per slice of bread. How mean spirited is that?! Take a look at the photos - most of the sandwiches I had were thin offcuts. We won't be ordering this again!

A brilliant well priced eat out!

Wow !! What a superb Brunch we had ! Crushed Avocado with perfect poached eggs, honey bacon on toast with deliciously sweet cherry tomatoes … superb. The table service was friendly efficient and polite. Well done ! We will be back again to try the Sunday Roast… looks fabulous!

Great cafe, friendly service and excellent food

My wife and I had lunch there I had the omelette (cheese) it was huge my wife had egg royal which she said was lovely will be going back

The service was excellent but there weren't enough vegetarian or vegan options and the quiche I ordered was so dry it was inedible unless I covered it in baked beans. The vegan muffins were absolutely delicious though.

All produce is fresh and a high standard nothing too much trouble only problem is when I asked for toast got a brioche bun which I can't have sugar content.they should use thicker bread for the toast.

This centre has good facilities such as the farm shop. But I can't look past the truly dreadful cafe. This has a menu deliberately designed to prevent vegans and vegetarians going. It's only consession is a pathetic beetroot burger. Unfortunately I didn't know this in advance and the only thing I could do was drink a black coffee whilst the rest of the family ate. A place vegans and vegetarians should never visit if you want to go to the cafe.

Usually ok to eat here, food can be nice, but my Husband ordered the Porkie pie Ploughman's for lunch I had a sandwich, mine came to the table first, then they brought my Husbands ploughman's, salad, pate, pickle, bread roll, and a Half a pork pie ! at £8- 90 or so, would have expected a full pie... just today food was a bit poor.

Called in with family for a snack and a coffee at 4pm. Sadly all we could get was a drink and a cake. Not good enough when the restaurant doesn't close till 5pm. Staff cleaning down and most of the restaurant blocked off. I will not be coming back as this was my third attempt at getting a meal.

Very disappointed we arrived at 4pm as cafe closes at 5pm , to be told no food available this is not the first time but thought we would give it another chance and its the first time my father who is having treatment for cancer and thought he was upto to coming out , it says on the menu cafe closes 30 mins before garden centre closes. Also to see the staff mopping up before cafe closes is not very appealing as there was loads of dirty tables which I would have thought this would have been more of a priority .

Can’t rate this place any higher. The food was delicious, and that is understating ! The staff where hugely attentive and really friendly and welcoming ! The portions where huge! So seriously good value , I won’t need to eat for a week . The menu has something for everyone , I wouldn’t hesitate to go again , or take anyone there for a meal as there is something for everyone. The food was presented beautifully , it’s very clear how much care they take in all they do. It’s neat , tidy and clean , and has a lovely comfortable atmosphere . Expect to see me again - especially for that sticky toffee pudding !

Not a cheap breakfast, totally disappointed about it, need to reprice your items

Our food was prompt and lovely. The children's meal was chicken nuggets made with chicken breast and lots of it. The main reason for the review though was to say just how wonderful the service was. Lots of polite young people serving, all of whom couldn't do enough to help, all with lots of smiles and good humour. We will be back soon.

I had heard great things about Sunday dinner here. Sadly very disappointed, Served with congealed gravy, black carrot and cold. Dirty cutlery and my son had two hairs on his pancake. I have worked in hospitality and would nerve Dean of serving a plate looking like this.

Very spacious and service was good. You place your order and it is all delivered to your table by very friendly helpful staff. I felt really safe dining here and would recommend the Atruim.

Visited on wednesday. Hot and noisy. Small portions and my salad was dripping with water. Quiche was small and not tasty. One of the party had finished their lunch before we got ours. Were looking forward to our trip after so long shielding but won't be going back. Used to be a regular visitor. Not good value.

Great full English breakfast, sets you up for the day.

Nice food, even if the quiche needs some cheese in it as it was more like a flan 😂. Drinks were hot and the serving staff were very pleasant. Only downfall for me was the miserable lady on the till, she needs to lighten up a bit and maybe interact with the people she is serving and when I asked her what the quiche was, she literally stick her nose in one to tell me it was peppers.

Paid a visit for the first time, had a nosey around the garden centre and stopped off for a bite to eat. The staff were very welcoming and met us with a smile. We selected our table and placed our order; two Sunday roasts and a prawn omelette. The omelette came brimming with prawns, a mountain of chunky chips and a huge side salad. The roasts were cooked to perfection. Ampul roast potatoes, thick cuts of meat, greens, carrots and two Yorkshire puddings. We had planned a sample of the well stocked cake abs pastries cabinet but needed a breather before diving in. A quick wander around the outdoors and the plant area we found ourselves back in the cafe with just enough room to enjoy the cakes. We weren’t disappointed. The scone could easily have been shared by two. There was a quaint pot of conserve and a bowl of cream to lavish the fruit filled scone, the only question, jam or cream first?The coffee and walnut cake ooozed flavour. It was moist and light, with the right amount of frosting. It was all washed down with a cup of English breakfast tea and a latte, which, in the words of Goldilocks was not too hot, not too cold, but just right. We will definitely be returning to sample other delights on the menu. (The fish and chips that passed our table looked amazing). A definite recommend for anyone on the Wirral, crossing the river to the Wirral, or looking for a place that offers a friendly atmosphere with great tasting food at a very good price.

Was so looking forward to lunch of steak pie chips and gravy but they must have changed their supplier as the pie was very disappointing. The bottom of the pastry was soggy and there wasnt as much chunks of meat in it as there used to be. There is a restricted menu but plenty to choose from. The staff good and work very hard. The tables are wiped down regularly and it is very clean. Will still return but wont bother with the pie.

Went for breakfast and it was terrible. well over cooked Eggs Benedict, the chef can’t even poach an egg. The bacon was discoloured and gray. gross !! Not going back again!!

Nice food and drink and fantastic service but a little over priced for what is essentially a basic menu.

Always good service and quality food, in the crrent pandemic they are going above and beyond to deal with a great deal of customers. Must say they have got the place well organised for safety and throughput, well done. All the very best to the management and staff.

Covid safe. Plenty of room between tables. Sanitiser available on way in and out. Order food at counter and food drinks and cutlery, condiments brought to the table.

I always like coming here any time of day. Usually I get my car washed and whilst I wait I go have some food.You find your table and go pay and order at the till. It always is busy enough but it’s a very large area so I’ve always got a seat ok.I like having the eggs Benedict for breakfast but they also do a cooked breakfast. They do baked potatoes, sandwiches, cooked dinners and have cakes. I like their hot chocolate.
