We have been coming here weekly for morning coffee for years. However, this week they have installed new coffee machines which aren’t capable of producing a hot cup of coffee, only a lukewarm cup of bitter tasting coffee. The manager kindly explained that this was to reduce staffing levels as no barista input was involved, just pressing a few buttons! Given the vast array of coffee shops in the vicinity, where they produce barista made coffees to your liking, we shall take our custom elsewhere from now on.

Will someone please sack the manager! No eggs, no jacket potatoes, no lasagne at 12.30am on a Saturday!!! Absolutely dreadful!

Went for breakfast this morning, 4 of us out shopping. For M&S we expect better. Hash browns RAW! Inedible. Bread toasted one side and NO eggs? You have eggs downstairs in M&S Food! Just shocking. Told a member of staff hash browns were raw, they did not even bother to say anything. Avoid. Would never go again.

We have loved going to this place over the years but now it seems to have changed the menu so much regarding hit food that there is now little choice. Use to be able to get things like scrambled eggs etc, all home unfortunately and so are we .. all gone. But they won’t care

M&S must be the only cafe that takes a best selling item off the menu i.e. tomato soup. There is also no marmalade, again, and only only one queue line but two coffee machines. Saving grace are the staff, everything else is dire.

Oh dear .. I don’t know how anybody can give this cafe a poor review. It’s probably typical of some of the residents of this town. The coffee “Brazilian” is the best in the area and whilst the food offer is limited, it’s always fresh and typical M&S quality. The service is always great .. if people want a Michelin experience, I can guarantee they won’t pay for it. Keep up what you do so well M&S ...

Went early to get breakfast before the cinema. Toast, two bacon sandwiches and a toastie, it’s all ore packaged so not much labour involved to heat these. People were queuing out the door. Only one till on. A manager was teaching two members of staff how to clean a table meanwhile everyone was waiting. Why didn’t he jump on and serve those waiting. It took us almost 15 minutes to order and a further 20 to get reheated food. Ridiculous. Manager was no where to be seen when we left as he would have had my feedback. Coffee was weak and bland. Toastie was soggy. Management needs to improve.

My husband and I went early doors on Saturday morning to have breakfast here whilst my car was being serviced. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and he got a sausage butty. First off, staff behind the counter were fine, pleasant and accommodating. After placing our order I went to get cutlery and noticed a lot of them were dirty, most of which had been pulled out and not seen to. This was after one of the girls gave my husband a dirty saucer for his cup and I had to point this out. That wasn’t necessary the issue, I’ve worked in cafes before and I know the pot wash doesn’t always get all the plates if they’re stuck close together. Finding a table was horrendous, the cafe wasn’t busy but every table I gazed upon was dirty! The floor was filthy, the table top was filthy with dried on food that looked like it has been there from the night before and the chairs were filthy. There were two lads wondering around only one was cleaning up trays. We moved tables once and even the cleaner of the two wasn’t very clean. When breakfast arrived the food was ok, toast a little dry though and slices small. My husband enjoyed his. I would suggest new plates, they were full of score marks from knife and forks. It’s just not what I’d expect in an MandS cafe especially for the prices that you charge.

Whilst out with a friend decided to have breakfast at M&S bury never again the food came immediately which made us suspicious as it could not have been cooked that quickly the bacon eggs etc were cold and rather dried up presumably from sitting too long on a hot plate the.worst breakfast ever from a well known cafe with a reputation to maintain

Good convenient, clean place to have a snack except Wednesday (Market day) when its too busy. Staff are very good unlike some of their customers who think its OK to let their kids throw food on the floor and/or leave their tables in a mess. Avoid the soups unless you like the consistency of wallpaper paste and go for toasties, sandwiches and cakes.

A nice place to drop in for coffee etc. The staff are pleasant, the service good and there is a wide range of sandwiches, snacks and cakes. Busy on Wednesdays as its the towns midweek market day and avoid the school holidays when the place is infested with mums, their kids and grans. Whilst the mum and gran chat they seem not to notice their offspring's making a mess and worse they just get up and leave with the mess still there. How the staff put up with it I don't know?

I shop here every week and as I have to wait for my daughter to finish shopping I would sit on one of the benches at the tills. These have been removed and there is nowhere for an elderly person to sit and wait. Please return these benches. Everything else is great shopping at asda pilsworth

I visited this place while having a look around the garden centre with my parents and my one year old daughter. It looked and seemed pleasant and inviting for a little refresher (cake and a brew). From the moment we walked in, as I unlatched the double doors to allow my dad to wheel our pram in and was essentially glared at by staff, it felt 'off'. We were marched, with said-pram, through a labyrinthine path of tables and chairs to the furthest point of the cafe and ordered to put the pram out of the way. No issues, I thought, got to be considerate to staff and other customers, despite us being situated in the graveyard area of the building with not another soul around, and the selected pram parking spot being on front of a fire escape. The food was quite nice, served quickly enough and without any major problems. The real issue was with the older blonde lady - a regular feature in other people's reviews, it seems - who was among the most discourteous, ignorant, obnoxious and downright rude people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter in a supposed hospitality role. As we moved to leave, my kindly 70 year old mother, from no more than two feet away, offered a polite and friendly compliment on the quality of the scone she had just eaten. 'Thank you so much' she started, to zero response. We assumed the last has just not heard' 'It was as good as it looked', she continued. Blank. Nothing. No acknowledgement or pleasantry, no forced politeness in the name of professional courtesy. The woman humiliated my mother, ignored her kind thanks and instead began talking to her colleague about what time she was going to clock off. Like my mother was not even there, let alone offering a compliment and positive feedback. It was shocking and egregious and left us all blown away at how this person can work in hospitality, and apparently have held a job for some time, judging by the dates of the other reviews. I don't know who she is, how she justifies this behaviour or how she's not been removed from the place but we won't be going back after she left a sour and ugly taste to an otherwise lovely afternoon trip out. Disgusting.

Son loves his coffee and mocha from here. Been coming here for many years but just tried the sweet stuff but now it's halal, it's great to try other alternatives. Really enjoyed it, good saver meals!!
