M&S Cafe in Canterbury

Nice cafe. Basic but fine. Coffee is great but omg, the staff are so slow. Its ridiculous and ruins the experience. They need more staff and staff that can work at a normal speed

I love all M&S cafes. The staff are great but oh it is so very cold in the Whitstable cafe and I never usually feel the cold. I'm sorry to say I won't be visiting again after several chilly visits. So sorry.

Good value. Nice food. Lovely staff. Decor is very bland but ok. The downside is that it is BALTIC in here! I’m not talking a bit nippy - it’s really unpleasantly cold (and I am wearing outdoor winter clothing. Wish I’d brought a hat!) it is way colder inside than outside. Come on M&S - just take a moment to think. Btw I note there are zero responses to any comments on here, that’s how much M&S care about this cafe.

Great bacon and sausage baps. Gold label tea, also good. Familiar staff members is important. Chicken Chipotle wrap is so tasty.

Nice stop for coffee Need for staff serving but also clearing and wipping tables. Always have kind staff serving but would love a clean table.

Service was very poor. lady on her own serving. A que of people waiting behind us. We had jacket potato with cheese, asked for coleslaw but she had run out. Jacket potato was cold and the cheese was just sprinkled over from a grated cheese pack straight from the fridge. (Should have been melted) . On the whole a nasty experience from a m&s cafe. Definitely won’t be going there again.

My latte with extra shot was lovely and hot, with the flavour I like.Bacon ciabatta was cooked quickly, so I had no trouble with speed of service that some have complained about.The only problem I have is my WiFi simply never works at any M&S so this always makes my visit frustrating. Otherwise nice place for coffee.

Always smells nice in there. Good quality coffee and cake, but we always laugh about the length of time it takes to get served. Very Pleasant obliging staff and nice to sit in the window and people watch!

Popped in for a takeaway coffee before I set off on a long drive and was disappointed to find out that they were unable to do takeaway coffee as they did not have any takeaway cup lids!Staff were very friendly and apologised for not being able to do takeaway coffee.

This is a perfect start to the day. Easy Parking, Buy your Newspaper and enjoy a perfect breakfast - Choice of all M&S bakery - very good coffee, friendly staff. Will even do scrambled eggs.

Lovely little café with a good but limited selection of food for breakfast and lunch. It is certainly worth a visit if shopping. .

Hot drink and hot drink a good price. Nice hot coffee. Some of the staff very friendly and helpful. Tables not cleared as quick as you would like. Good value...

This is a lovely little cafe that have friendly staff & that sell a small selection of cakes, biscuits & sandwiches as well as a good range of hot & cold drinks.

The drive from Margate was quicker that the service for two coffees and it was mid-morning so not busy..

My friend and I had a quick catch up this morning with a coffee. We sat outside , seats not too comfortable overlooking the car park. Service was extremely slowwwww. Friendly staff, very clean cafe. Nice cup of coffee. Thought it was a tad expensive.

Visited the cafe and the girl serving lacked customer service!! And was very slow in serving. My daughter and I were made to feel like second class citizens. Won’t be using the cafe again!!!!!!!
