All you need from a basic cafe. Good food, very fairly priced. Varied options throughout the day. Friendly staff

Ideal for a cooked breakfast before shopping The food is freshly prepared and quite inexpensive. Tables are kept clean and tidy

The English breakfast here is excellent, particularly the sausages and the buttered toast. The staff are also very accommodating so you can swap a particular item for another if you like (I swapped my tomato for mushrooms). This time the food turned up quickly as we went during the week but occasionally we have had to wait for up to 40 minutes at the weekends. When this has been the case, the staff have always advised us prior to ordering.

This was my first visit to this café. First impressions was that this was a nice modern cheap eats place to eat. We came around 3:40pm on a Sunday (closes at 4:00pm). Due to the time we arrived there was barely any food to choose from. The tables needed cleaning because they hadn't been wiped down. There is no wi fi and there are toilets in the supermarket. The person at the counter was pleasant. The gingerbreadmen are not very tasty and the Cappuccino is not the best tasting coffee.

Well the quality of food today was far from what was expected from since the last time we had breakfast here. Used to be able to get table service now it was order art the bar. Great outside setting but only two tables taken today at 10am to 11am in the lovely sun shine which usually used to be full of customers and hard to get a table.- I WONDER WHY! Smoothy machine broken with no back up and the meals served were not hot though the mature Spanish server was excellent. A table to the side of us returned their full English as it was cold. My brioche bun had burnt edges and was dry, served with no butter, with a small lonely single sausage which was cut in half and was lost in the roll. At least use a quality sausage and a reasonable size if only serving one sausage for £7.50. Unfortunately we will remove The Royal Foresters from our favourites breakfast list as the quality is not as expected and there are several better other local offerings.

I was there last week. One of the best sausages I've ever had and definitely the best caramel latte in my entire life.
