Had our wedding reception here. Absolutely lovely staff, wonderful food. Big shout out to Katie and Jane for being amazing in the night and making our special day a bit more special!

Great pub with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always extremely friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have a good time, particularly when you’re eating. Good selection of all drinks so difficult not to be happy when you’re here. Dogs are very much welcome here and looked after with treats, water and lots of petting! Very much recommend the scotch eggs if you’re feeling a bit peckish… even if you’re not!

Second visit, great Sunday roast, fantastic beer, friendly atmosphere and great service. Great pub, well worth a visit.

What a delightful place. Food selection and quality was excellent. The server called Adam was truly professional and attentive and helpful. One of the best pub restaurants I have been.

We had a lovely lunch today with Jane serving us. She was very attentive and super lovely offering to get our kids games and colouring to keep them busy whilst we waited for the food. Kept the rustic feel of a typical pub. All the staff are so attentive and friendly. Cammy is fabulous, very welcoming with great banter! I have pretty high standards, the food is amazing and you will enjoy your trip to The Bull. If you are not a local and from far then this is a no brainer for a visit!!

Very inattentive staff and very slow.Had to wait ages to be served and was the only table in the entire pub to be served,after meal no one bothered to take the plates away until after we left,if I didn't go up to the bar to pay I could have just walked out and probably no-one would have noticed.Oh yes, almost forgot,the worst cappuccino I have ever had, clearly they have no idea what a cappuccino is.

Food was absolutely disgusting took my dad here for his birthday and was a complete disappointment there were five of us and out if five one of us ate the meal 2 had the steak option and it was poor and bad cut of meat peppercorn sauce was watery absolutely poor quality for the food and definitely the price my dad had the Cumberland saussage and mash for £15 mash was cold and standard saussages very poor quality and definitely not worth the money the child in the party had crispy chicken chips and beans the chicken was tough so she didn't eat it and the last was chicken with bacon chips chicken wernt bad but it's a poor quality of hunters chicken rock hard square cheese on the side not even on the chicken defo will never come bk the whole bill was £97 and not worth nothing had better in the green king

Had a set Christmas meal here on Boxing Day with 8 family members. Service was great. A lovely lady called Katie served us and nothing was too much trouble. Food was presented nicely and all enjoyed their meal. Atmosphere was warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice pub in the town, but a little expensive

We have eaten here or popped in for drinks a few times over the years. Has always been good service. But not this time! We ordered food and a bottle of wine by the app. The wine turned up within 5 minutes so we knew the order had gone in. Well, after 40 minutes waiting for our starter to arrive we were getting concerned our order was lost, especially as people on a table next to us had received their food. After enquiring we were told the food would be 7 minutes. Three steaks turned up 10 minutes later but no starter! We complained that we had not had the starter yet and 5 minutes into eating the main course the starters arrived. Of course we didn’t want those any more. We spoke to the manager, and to be fair to her she was very apologetic and took the starters off the bill and offered us some free drinks in compensation. The food itself was very tasty. I know it was the Saturday before Christmas and we were told there was a bit of a wait for food when we ordered but something clearly went wrong in the kitchen.

Alex was absolutely amazing. Went out his way to make sure we had the veg roast, we will be back again oxoxox

Anemic looking bland chicken Weird creamy peppercorn sauce that had more peppers than good flavour Beef was well done so very chewy Chips...like they were cooked and 10 days later refried Mac and cheese ...not sure which part was the cheese ...it had no flavour of cheese and no salt Butternut squash had no flavour either Even Guinness didn't taste right I was shocked because food didn't match the amazing interior

The price for the food are expensive, and the service even worse. You may only get your starters as the kitchen seems to forgot about the Mains we ordered. We chased up the Mains after the starters about 45 minutes, and they told me to wait another 10 minutes, which is ridiculous service. My daughter is starving and being waiting for food, no explanation from the staff. 3 tables that late than ours has all their food ordered on their table. I asked for a manager and has been told he/she are on break. So after another 10 minutes waiting and still no food on the table, I asked for refund but only got refund for the mains, and not even an apology from the staff. Well, impressive shocked on your services! Not recommended at all! Never come back !

lovely place and ambience let down by service and messy approach. booked a table and entered to no staff at all .walked to bar and just 1 lovely chap working .take any table we were directed .some had reserved . tables dirty and still full glasses and plates.had to order at bar only and then brought by server. prices high for no service.food lovely

We booked well in advance, arrived on time and the table wasn't ready. I had specified on my booking it was 3 kids and 5 adults, but we had to reconfirm that once the table was ready. Other tables around us were provided kids colouring, our children were not. We then had to wait so long to order drinks we resorted to the app, not all drinks were brought out at once and the waiter wasn't even sure what drinks he was delivering The waitress who then ordered our food was good and it turned up pretty punctually and it was all ok (the trio roast was a bit lacking, seemed like at 4pm there wasn't much left) Service remained very slow thereafter, waiting a long time for plates to be cleared and then waiting again for dessert menus and then them taking those orders. Desserts were fine but the coffee we ordered had to be re requested as the bar man was unaware of it. We asked for the 12.5% charge to be removed as overall it was a poor experience, with just one of the staff members having a pleasant and positive attitude. It wasn't that busy but there were not enough staff and the majority of those who were there didn't look interested in being there.

The food is very good but it has become very do it yourself. Get your own menu. Coffee machine was switched off too. I’m being very picky but had to pay service/tip. This all said the food and beer are great. Had the burger and chips and they were cooked to perfection and well presented. Will be back. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing too. Again beautifully presented and tasted great.

It would ve been a three star but the barman was playing genuinely nice and trying to get through the awkwardness that half the menu was unavailable for order, and odd beer choices, and that you have to pay there and then :- Around 6pm on Sunday you had no fish and chips left, no chicken roast or any other chicken, and no potatoes (except for fries, hello frozen precuts), and something else was missing from the menu. The food we got was actually nice indeed, save for salmon risotto which while tasty and solid unexpectedly had too much onion and we had to switch dishes within our party. Because the wait time for the food was prohibitive to replace anything, about one hour with the pub almost empty when we ordered. So a pub without a pub food, and no classic pub beers (no Stella, San Miguel, carlsberg, Heineken)? Certainly not a traditional pub, maybe one with a (modern) twist, okay. Camambert share plate was a joke. Also the Czech beer was another peculiar beer option, overall it's OK but so weak that I wonder could you not source a proper Czech lager or pilsner if you don't favor the classic pub beers... Let me know when you load the kitchen and I may stop again for fish and chips. Hopefully with a full bodied lager available draft.

I held my mothers 90th Birthday, Katie, Jayne, Stuart David and Alex were superb, could not do enough for us. Buffet food was excellent as was the all round service from the team. Thank You Very Much for making a very special get together work so well.

It was the first time we came to The Bull so were unsure what to have but Kuba who was great really looked after us and gave his recommendations, I have to admit the service provided by him and other staff members was great, we will definitely be coming back again as food was delicious!! Thank you Kuba for your patience and taking the time by providing great customer service 😊

Great seperate dining room with really attentive service (Alex) and phenomenal food. A slight mix up with doubling up on some drinks but the ladies managed to drink the extra wine.

Went to the bull with my wife and two daughters for Sunday lunch. We each only had a main. We were very politely greeted and taken to our seats, the seating was pretty full which is always a good sign - there was a good feeling around the room with plenty of chat and laughter. Drinks were ordered and served pretty quickly from our lovely waitress. My wife and eldest had the roast pork belly (pic attached), my youngest had the sausage and mash whilst I had the beef shin & ale pie. We also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese. The food was served in a reasonable time considering we were right in the middle of Sunday lunchtime. Each dish was presented impeccably, with a decent portion and good quality food. Each one of us cleared our plates which is always a great sign and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We would all go back to eat here and highly recommend the venue and food.

We choose this for celebratory anniversary lunch because had lovely lunch previous week. However this was not to be repeated! Despite booking for 2.30pm when we arrived we were told there would be wait for food for at least 30 mins…this wasn’t too bad but it turned out to be nearly 1 hour 30mins. When food eventually arrived it was over cooked and roast potatoes that couldn’t even be cut as so over cooked. The manager apologised offered us complimentary desserts (which were lovely) and said she’d talk to us about the bill. Sadly her shift finished before she spoke with us again and she had deducted 20% off bill. Although that was appreciated it didn’t really cover the inconvenience and poor quality of the meal but there wasn’t much we could do or say then and so just paid the bill. As we left we noticed the same manager sitting in the bar so maybe for the sake of customer service she could have come and spoken to us prior to finishing her shift. It certainly was not the anniversary lunch we were hoping for at such a nice venue.

I booked the upstairs space for a corporate meeting last week. The team (especially Jane) couldn't do enough for us both in the lead up to the day and on the day itself. The food was incredible and timely at lunch and the service & facilities were second to none. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Rather disappointed. First time eating here and don't think I will bother again. friend and I ordered lunch and waited over 40minutes for food to appear. A waitress came over and said did either of you order a burger I replied yes and she said oh we had wrong table and brought my food over. I asked where my friends food was as we ordered at the same time it was only a sandwich. Was advised by her it was just being finished. No apologies about the confusion and I explained it was our first time in the pub and she didn't really care no apology for lack of service!!! My burger was lukewarm but by this time I couldn't be bothered telling them as the staff obviously couldn't care less. It seemed they had our money so that's where the service ended. Won't bother again as slightly expensive.

Visited The Bull in Bracknell town centre a few times now for Sunday Lunch, and I must say it's a delightful place to eat, vibrant atmosphere, nice decor, extremely friendly staff, and very tasty food at a good price, well done to the lovely chefs.Vegetables were yummy braised in butter, my beef was perfectly cooked, a fantastic 😋 lunch, a big thumbs up to our waitress Tammy! friendly, chatty, great, exuberant personality, a great asset to the company, highly recommend

Walked in very strange atmosphere. Not very welcoming staff. Dirty tables everywhere, even though not that busy. We were going to eat but changed our minds had a drink and left, never to return but doubt the staff give a damn

Private Room for a Baby Shower which went really well. Had a buffet and only thing missing was serving spoons for the salad and chips otherwise no complaints at all. Adam was very helpful and attentive so all good.

Overall was ok. But we were seated in the couches near the corner, where we have 2 little ones. So they were sat very low. Checked if we could move tables, but no other options available unfortunately. Were offered cushions but just wasn't entirely practical. So my 4year old and 2yr old had to be on their knees for the meal to be able to get to their food. The 2 waitresses weren't very attentive either, we had to go up to them to get attention because when we were sat at the table, waving, trying to get eye contact, noone would look in our direction. We weren't offered any kids colouring bits when we arrived. Asked for starters and mains to come all together so kids didn't have to wait, but waitresses admitted she forgot to mention that point to the kitchen. so starters came, and had to wait a bit before mains came out. In addition, when trying to get attention for the bill, that took ages as well. Just noone looked in our direction, despite all of us practically waving for attention. Also I arranged a cake for my mother's birthday. But the waitress unfortunately dug her finger into the side of the cake when she put it down. She did apologise but it's just not a pleasant experience. Real shame because we've wanted to try the bull for ages now, and thought it would be a perfect, but after last nights experience, won't be coming back again. Overall impression was not attentive.

It's a shame that a 12.5% discretionary service chargre is added to the bill, and not given on the pay machine as an option, not knowing if the tip has gone to the individual staff member, shared between staff or to the companies back pocket. Back in the day, this was how waiters / waitresses made up their salary, but with minimum wage introduced, it shouldn't be a thing anymore. Our waitress, Katie had a lovely walming smile and attitude, whilst I treated mum to a Sunday lunch.

We held a private function in one of the rooms upstairs, staff were super helpful before and during our event. Food was great, drinks were served regularly and the staff were lovely!

Had a lovely family meal most of us had Sunday roast food was nice but small portions for the money. So we thought it was a bit expensive and they put a service charge on top Staff were friendly.

Excellent in every way. Our Barman was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food was lovely, plentiful, and sensibly priced. Seating was comfortable, and spacious. Even the music was to our taste and at a perfect volume, you could hear it but also enjoy your conversation. Definitely happy to return here next time I’m in Bracknell.

Great bar/pub! Probably the best in Bracknell, a large selection of drinks, reasonable prices and they also serve food, which smelled fantastic but I didn't order any so can't comment on that. Location is great, right in the centre next to the row of restaurants in the Lexicon, within walking distance from the main train station, staff are very friendly and there are plenty of seating options, including small and large tables, big comfortable sofas and quiet secluded tables, you can also choose to sit in the old style Victorian pub section or the modern upscale bar area, cannot fault this place at all! Yes it's more expensive than a wetherspoons, but you're not just paying for a drink, you're paying for quality service, comfort and atmosphere, all of which you get an abundance of at the Bull! Highly recommended

I booked a large table for a suprise birthday party for drinks, but we had a great table, staff attentive and helpful, I had previously been to the pub before and thought it was a place to just eat and go, but atmosphere really suprised us and we had a great time! Thanks Team Bull

I recently visited The Bull Pub and I must say, I was absolutely blown away by the incredible food and outstanding customer service. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the famous Scotch egg was a true delight. Not only was the food top-notch, but the customer service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. The local was also clean and had a great atmosphere. It was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family. Overall, I highly recommend The Bull Pub to anyone looking for a great meal and a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Excellent! A lovely bar/eaterie in the centre of Bracknell new town centre. We only visited for a few drinks, a great atmosphere, friendly staff who offer good service. Worth a visit.
