Morrisons Cafe in Gravesham

Food was cold in my experience, bacon was wet and cold, sausages were cold, hash brown almost made it to half decent, even if it was microwaved for two minutes I wouldn't have complained

Food was lovely all credit to the cooks, only problem i had was my drink was not with my order so i had to get a refund for that, the bags should be filled and then sealed

Ordered for delivery, asked for no beans in the notes section but they arrived soaked. Unfortunately I had to throw the bread away, the black pudding, mushrooms and hash brown were not able to be saved because of the sauce

Food cold, black pudding hard enough for foundations. Fried bread was the worst I have ever tried. Just all round disappointing.

Fully automated cafe....this is what we are faced with today.. no staff contact push a button for everything but still not helped in anyway. After my first and last visit to Morrisons cafe gravesend i was faced with the only way I can describe it McDoanlds style ordering system, your face to face with a flat screen presenting you with endless options of nothing you want. After inputting a simple tea and coffee and paying it was then what?? no staff came to assist us, no staff came to point us in the right direction No staff came to tell us how this automated system is meant to work. After a minute or three we walked about saw some coffee making devices and figured Oh we have to literally make it ourselves so we did, with still no staff no this is what you do or welcome... Shameful. Whilst waiting for our automated treat I could not help notice the dirty cups which were on selection as for ready for using, totally "disgusting" With a pot of tea you literally had to gather your own pot and tea pour the hot water, find a sourcer, and sugar, to say nothing about where the milk was eventually found in a black bucket with nothing wrote on it great idea.!!! After finishing our beverages which BTW were terrible anyway, a family member asked should we now take the used cups back?! of which you can only imagine what my response was. Cant recommend Dirty place Not made welcome No staff Automated system falls in every way to make it feel like a nice place to sit. AVOID

Disgusting.. you spend all that money and they can’t even send one thing correctly. Freezing cold, the quality was awful, pale, dry.

No black pudding....disappointing, but they paid attention to the note so am thankful

Go here every week to do our big week shop, every week there is a staffing shortage of some sort, which effects the running of the cafe with meals not available, or just one person taking orders then running over to do coffee etc . Really is hit and miss as to what food is available always down to not having staff in .

18/2/24 thought we’d have a quick coffee and tea. The waiting time for them to prepare it was unacceptable. 25 minutes for just drinks is not ok. People left standing and seated for this. Also the store was exceptionally cold. Won’t ever use the cafe again.

Just invited and had breakfast. Dried up beans, cold tomato, bacon had no words for it. The only thing that was fresh was the egg and toast. No photo as just walked out. First and last time!

No seasoning on the breakfast. Bread wasn’t toasted. It was alright, have eaten better quality breakfast’s from small local businesses.

Ordered chicken roast no other options available, standard frozen vegetables and potatoes and one Yorkshire. As I am disabled healthy choices are limited but would have been better with fresh cabbage or sprouts. Chicken was fine so ideal for a single person who cannot cook, but probably nicer and cheaper to visit a carvery.

Food was lovely, but the delivery driver was most confused when you handed him some bits of food wrapped in foil 😅 no bag or packaging haha. The food was well cooked though, tasty. Really cant complain for a meal delivered for just over £10

Iy may have been a one off but the chicken I had was still bloody inside. The staff member I showed was not in least interested.

Ok to start with the positives the food is great and cheap. but theres been many of times where they stopped selling food because they run out of plates, only had to look around the places to find heaps of uncollected plates, pure laziness

Both myself and sister had a breakfast and pot of tea each, The breakfast was awful egg and bacon under cooked the plate was full of grease and food wasn’t even warm. My tea cup and cutlery were dirty so had to get them changed over and the second lot wasn’t much better. So I opted for disposable cup, knife and fork. I will not be eating here again. I don’t know if it’s like this with meals but the breakfast was awful.

Went there at 2.30ish board outside said there were opened. People inside eating. Saw a member of the staff as we were queuing to order did not say nothing after me and the kids waiting there for 5 mins one of the customers came to tell us they were not open. Yet online they should be open until 4. Not the first time I came and it's the same!

This is meant as constructive criticism rather than a complaint. The automated ordering system works well and is easy to understand. The tables were clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and very helpful, but I get the distinct impression that they are too few and thus overworked, having far too many tasks to carry out at any one time. The food was not hot - very near cold as I got to the end of my Full English breakfast. The worst item was the disgusting state of the cutlery in the bin for customers to take. There was food still on all of it. If the cleaning equipment for cutlery and plates needs to be serviced then management is failing in their responsibilities at the expense of hygiene and the risk of infection and possibly food poisoning to the customer. You need to get your act together.

Absolutely amazing! The best afternoon tea I've had and at a bargain of £7 per person. The portion was perfect, variety great and was it delicious!

Coffee & sauce sachets were missing.

Food was oily tasteless and freezing as if taken out of the fridge, from what little I ate left a sickly oily taste that even after an hour hasn’t gone, I didn’t even feed it to the dog as he deserves better

Toasted sandwich wasn't very good. One side was rock hard. Chips were lovely though

We always shop here on a Thursday, and after a morning of blackberrying in Meopham, we came to the cafe for lunch. I ordered a breakfast brunch and a ham & cheese toastie for my wife. Though the staff were a bit thin on the ground, the food arrived after not much of a wait, and it was hot, freshly cooked and very enjoyable. The lattes were also hot and very nice. No complaints whatsoever regarding the food, which also is quite reasonably priced, considering the times we are going through. If you're in the area, I'd recommend a drop-in for a coffee and more, you should not be disappointed!

Only 1/2 ham sandwich delivered & coleslaw was missing. Rest of food ok.

Foid was good chips cold but afternoon tea was well worth money great value and absolutely delicious good selection too

Ordered the full english breakfast with crispy bacon. Food turned up late and cold and the bacon was inedible, barely cooked and one piece of bacon had blue writing on. Have complained to customer service

ordered 3 breakfasts and 3 coffees. Only the coffees were delivered. How hard can it be to make sure the drivers take the correct orders? still charged me for the breakfasts.. and no response from the cafe.

I Ordered an English breakfast and poached egg on toast as the picture of the egg looked very appetizing, how wrong could i be. The English breakfast turned up stone cold, burnt cold toast, hard fried egg one dry mushroom and bacon that looked like all the moisture had been extracted!! However, the icing on the cake was the poached egg that had apparently been done in a plastic pot in the microwave. It was a very small, probably 2" oval rubber ball sat in the middle of a cold piece of butter less toast!! I told the server that this was not a poached egg as advertised which is how i learnt of how it was cooked. It was replaced with a fried egg. The standard of food is absolutely diabolical, with approximately 4 tables in a supermarket cafe where food is a plenty to serve substandard cold food is completely unacceptable.

So I ordered the Ultimate breakfast and 4 millionaires crispys so I get my order and I’m missing a hash brown and 3 millionaires crispys anyway I go to eat my hash brown and it’s half brown(like gravy colour) I saw this and stopped eating the hash brown as that’s not right anyway apart from that sausages were okay bacon was a little bit hard toast was really crispy and nice Also the egg was stone cold the drink was very nice overall i don’t know if I would order this again but the millionaires crispy was really nice overall I I don’t know if I would order this again.

First time ordering and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Good portions for adults and children. Very friendly delivery driver, would recommend

A lot of the menu options were unavailable. Food took too long and it wasn't even that busy. My son's fried egg had eggshell in it and mine was so poorly cooked it was like plastic. My husbands burger was dry and tasteless. Very dissapointing.

I know a salad isn't supposed to be wsrm but the chicken and avocado was literally so cold I couldnt taste it

We stayed at a hotel in Shewsbury and was so disappointed with the breakfast that we went to the Morrison' s cafe five minute drive away. Great choice great food and 3breakfasts for price of 1.

Staff here are delightfully kind and helpful, and very understanding of the specific needs of the child in my care during our visit. And extremely reasonably priced food especially good for children!

the food was lovely and because of eat out scheme had big breakfast and coffee for 2pound80pence so you can't moan only bad point very slow service as lady was not sure what she was doing and the slice of bread I ordered went missing but I will recommend expecially if you have children with you they eat free hats of to morrisons one note if you do it here please eat it and don't leve plates of food to go to waste

Oh my goodness, what a delicious breakfast I had when I visited Morrisons on Saturday 11th. Decided to have full English..... wow, all freshly cooked, piping hot, served by lady who was very pleasant and smiley. Unlimited hot drinks with breakfast. Absolute bargain. Definitely recommend, and will be back here when I’m down in gravesend again.

I sometimes have lunch at Morrisons as I find the selection of food appropriate. All the meals are freshly cooked and are very good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Sunday morning breakfast. Well !! where do I start ? Kids screaming ! Parents slurping ! Waitresses carouseling . A real f*^%ing nightmare ! Then my meal was served 30 minutes late cold on stone cold plate ! Never again. It was worse than Maplins holiday camp on a bad November rainy day.

My friend and i were doing a big shop for our Church, we popped in for a coffee first, we were welcomed with a big genuine smile from Ash, he is always so very pleasant he clearly likes his job, and he is very good at it. we went to the butchers counter and Kalvin (i think) was rushed off his feet with a big order,but still he managed to be cheerful and pleasant, you have some amazing staff.

Bright colours , pink and blue chairs, standard diner fare , coffee all £1.85. Clean, reasonable value with nice collection of Tea pots.

Went to Morrison's today decided to have some lunch..we had sausage egg chips beans it was the most disgusting food we have eaten chips were cold and had been over cooked sausages burnt egg over done and hard would never recommend eating there again..plus forgot tinfoil bits on my plate in with the beans I photographed the food

Had brunch here several times. Nice hot food at a reasonable price. Hot beverages are decent price and hot. Sometimes gets busy and you have to 'hunt' for a seat, but there is always one to be found (even if you have to clear the cups and plates of it yourself). I guess this is to be expected sometimes when somewhere is busy, popular and has a high turnover. All in all, good value.

Redecorated since we last went lots of choice on menu , helpful staff. coffee machine area bit unorganised

I love eating here even if it’s for afternoon coffee and cakes a full breakfast or eggs benedict or liver and bacon for dinner. The quality of food is excellent and the newly designed eating area gives it a co fortable surround to eat in.

Visited yesterday with the grandchildren for a bite. Reasonably busy but order taken swiftly by a young man.

Live about 20 minutes away and bypass 3 or 4 places that serve breakfast to come here as it has a very good breakfast.

Stopped here for a quick brekkie and glad we did breakfasts nice and clean and good value staff were really pleasant and great service didn’t get the lads name that served us but he was really lovely friendly and efficient

Taken to eating here once or twice a week for my evening meal. The tea time meal deal is good. Even though the price has increased from £5.50 to £6, it is still good value with a main meal and a pot of tea, and the food is always tasty and freshly cooked.

This is an OK place for a tea or coffee, but when I visited I was bemused when the person in front of me in the queue asked for a poached egg but was told it was not possible. The customer pointed out that scrambled egg was on the menu so they obviously had eggs but to no avail. A poached egg was just not possible!

We were on a tour and stayed nearby for three nights and had breakfast here each morning

We stopped for tea and sandwiches . Easy laid out counter. Staff were courteous . The staff were always keeping on top of the clearing and cleaning of tables. Even though you were expected to clear yourself. The sandwich was good quality and fairly priced.

You can get a good meal here for a good price. The staff are friendly and help full. Newspapers provided too. Parking is easy and you can do your weekly shop at the same time. Definatly recommend.
