Our family always meet here for a catch up. Breakfasts are lovely but bring back grilled tomato and flat mushrooms. Value for money. Excellent service.

It does what it says on the tin value for money it will clog your arteries as loads of unhealthy food. Ordered off the touchscreen by the entrance of this cafe. We’ve been here before and it’s been relatively good and cheap. Today we ordered the crumpets and sticky toffee pudding with cream. About 10 minutes after ordering we were told there was no crumpets and the other option was toast which my girlfriend agreed to. When our food arrived we got toast and sticky toffee pudding with custard which I mentioned and they said they didn’t have cream so there’s nothing they can do. Food was ok until I was half way through my sticky toffee pudding and bit into something hard which I thought was a date but when pulled out of my mouth was a shard of white plastic. I flagged down one of the workers to which they said ‘alright’ and with no apology, took it away along with the plastic and replaced it with the same attitude it was served. Overall not a good experience, not nice service and unprofessional dealings with foreign objects in food!

Came in with a friend and we had the two breakfasts for £10 which I thought was a very reasonable price food came out promptly and was tasty. Staff were friendly. The reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because the food wasn’t as hot as would expect it to be considering how quick the food came. Would definitely visit again.

I like a drink with a meal but since they upped the price of a cup of tea to £1.79 I’ll pass and go elsewhere

My grandson wanted to meet here says best breakfast in town hes 20 so we went today great customer service from staff in cafe and food great for the cost

Great to take the grandkids for a quick lunch or tea . Like the refurbished dining area . The staff are great and very accommodating . I visit often either by myself our with my grandchildren .

Ordered ham and cheese toasties and a cheese toastie. If you can even call them that legally. The cheese was hardly even cheese. It looked like a soggy pile of egg. And they were cold. The chips were also undercooked and cold. The only decent thing from this cafe is the crisps that they did not make.

Today I went in to Morrisons to take advantage of the £4.99 special deal of chicken, chips and coleslaw added bonus that the kids eat free. Firstly, they had no chicken, chips and coleslaw- we asked what was in place instead they said nothing. We asked if we ordered something different would they honour the free drink… OMG!! The look the lady gave me was absolutely disgusting. When I asked for the childrens meals I was told there was no Mac n Cheese, so I asked for a child’s breakfast which states on the menu it’s available all day- however I couldn’t have a boiled egg with it!! Call yourself a cafe!! Nothing available- absolute joke.

The food was excellent value for money but due to staffing issues the finish are was a dump. At least half the tables were uncleared and messy. When I asked for something to wipe our table, the staff member did so as if I had asked them something impossible. The fish and chips were excellent. Hopefully the state of the restaurant area was an isolated occurrence

I would like to say how very clean this store is as I have been to many and they are all dirty I have to give you 5 out of 5 for how clean your toilet facilities are

Pre the last lockdown I loved Morrison’s chicken tikka masala, but when they re-opened the cafe after lockdown they revamped the menu and in doing so now the chicken tikka masala is enough to fill a child but not an adult. Also now you have to have rice whereas before you could switch the rice to chips. At £5.95 it is just not worth the money for such a small meal, I’ll pass on it from now on.

Staff are friendly and welcoming, made sure our order was placed correctly, service was quick although they where busy and food was hot

We come every Saturday First food then we go food shopping 3 adults 1 child Every week we have the same food Recently they have been extremely poor service The staffs attitude is appalling The food constantly cold and half missing Asked for bacon well done come out cold and full of fat The hygiene side is good always cleaning Asked for ketchup given one when asked for me they turned a face I dont think one sachet is going to go round all of us Overall I think we will change and start to go to tescos

I am a regular shopper at the supermarket so on a Saturday I take my Grandsons for breakfast. Three weeks ago I had to return a bacon roll as the bacon was extremely cold. Last Saturday 29th August took one Grandson several people complained about how cold the food was and left.Ours was warm but not hot.Today September 1st took eldest Grandson and both our meals cold again so until there are more staff to take food out as soon as it’s cooked instead of it staying under the heated lights due to staff doing other jobs then sadly we will not be returning.No point blaming Covid for the service which is an easy excuse it’s staff because tables are not cleaned quick enough and the fact not enough people to serve on tables.I witnessed an elderly couple— the gentleman was in a wheelchair and his wife was taken to a table at very far end of restaurant instead of at the disabled one allocated nearer to service counter and hot drinks when it was much more easier for her to get the hot drinks. We have been having the breakfasts a very long time and was delighted when it reopened but sadly will be giving it a miss.

Thought we'd go back here to have a cooked breakfast - the first time since lock down. It was very well organised. Tables have been spaced out with perspex screens between them. You were shown to your table before ordering the food, which was then brought to the table. Staff efficient, and we watched them cleaning and sanitising other tables. Brekky was good and exeptional value since it was half price.

Very helpful staff, the girl on the cash till deserves an award. Food is good quality and I cannot fault the coffee.

Went here while waiting for a friend. Ordered a jacket potato with cheese & coleslaw. I wasn’t disappointed, the food was lovely, the side salad was a welcome extra. The ratio of cheese & coleslaw was too heavy on the cheese. The plate was too small and I lost quite a bit of cheese onto the table trying to cut my food. Friendly staff and helpful.

Such a lovely experience, called in on a quiet morning for a small breakfast and a cuppa and couldn’t help but notice how efficient, attentive and organised the staff are. The staff seem really caring and know their regulars well, and the food was fresh and good quality. Excellent value for money and really pleasing to see such good staff.

The service in the cafe is so consistent, very friendly staff, always very helpful and polite. Meals are reasonably priced and though average fayre for a supermarket cafe it hits the spot.

I paid £7.50 for a 3 course Christmas lunch expecting it not to be that great and small portions.How wrong I was.Soup with croutons & a large bread roll, followed by turkey with all trimmings which was a very large serving. Then Christmas pudding with cream (these were my choices)

Ordered 3 meals took about 25mins to come out. Good food though and good customer service, and plenty of parking.

Stopped here for breakfast. Ordered their Big Breakfast with Black Pudding as an extra. Didn't have to wait too long for our order to arrive. They did originally forget my black pudding but, once I pointed it out, served it to me very quickly. A good way to start the day.

Lentil soup and a coffee before the B&B check in. Wifi was available so made it easier to enjoy. Picked up a few items for the next days walk

Good service.. Very friendly staff.. Main meal very nice but pudding a let down.. Bread and butter pudding so stodgy and inedible. Ambience.. Noisy and crowded.

Handily located just across the road from the railway station I had time to wait. I ordered a small breakfast and when it came was somewhat overwhelmed. Fried egg (could have choice) sausage, bacon (a bit chewy but edible) hash brown, beans and half a proper tomato not those awful tinned things. Two full slices of toast (again a choice of brown or white)and four pats of butter. A warm plate and quick friendly service all for£3.75.goodness knows what the large one was like!! Its a fast food cafe not the Ritz so was better than expected. As I have said in another similar review even the best restaurants run out of some dishes. It was good well cooked and a pot of tea £1.20. Good value as far as I am concerned.

Gisgusting food poor service! Scrambled eggs were a disgrace and bread was poorly toasted and was not bloomer as described on menu!

Polite staff but a 15 minute wait for a bacon roll and the bacon looked and tasted like it had been boiled rather than grilled. Clean and tidy but not as good as Brecon store.

This is a good cafe, although they do run out of food very quickly, so it's best to get there early. But it's definately worth a visit

my last 3 visits have been very disappointing last time i had a big breakfast, but only one and half pieces of very thin dried out bacon, the time before had the cod and chips, the cod was very thin and leathery, the time before that I had gammon and chips. the gammon was thin and overcooked, looked like a piece of brown wood, and tasted stale. I think they have new staff, and have also replaced the cook with someone who cant cook. before they used to be good meals, but they have gone to the dogs
