We ordered lunch using the touch screen Jacket potato chilli and salad. Full english breakfast 2 yorkshire teas. Paid went to collect a tray to put the teas on and the trays were sopping wet and had dried food still on them took us 7 trays to find a half decent one. We had to ask for the yorkshire tea and we were begrudgingly thrown 2 bags onto the wet tray. checked out the tables 4 were disgusting not clean at all. sat down to find the people behind us had opened an unbrella that had drained water all over the floor. Pointed it out to a waitress and was tol YEH I SEEN IT THANKS. she returned after serving 3 other tables and plonked a sign in middle of puddle Did not clean it up at all. Food arrived and breakfast was swimming in grease and ther was no salad with the jacket potato. By this time we were beyond wanting food so we drank half the tea and left. No point asking for a refund as i doubt very much if it would have eben sunk in. totaly filthy unhygenic cafe.

Enjoyed a good £7.50 Sunday beef dinner. Vegetarian option was also very enjoyable. Service was good & quite quick. The downside was how quickly the food went cold due to the ambient temperature in the cafe. We kept our coats on which is not ideal when eating a meal. The wall & glass partition by the supermarket’s main entrance needs to be extended right around the cafe with a door near the ordering machine.

Absolutely disgusted with the quality of today’s food. Busy or not the food was disgusting. Obviously jacket potatoes are kept warm for hours if not days. 5 minutes in a microwave is all it takes Constant shouting from the kitchen, tables not cleared. Custom lost

Just been there had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich with chips. Toasted sandwich was crap cheese was the same cheese they put in cheese and onion sandwich it was awful not melted tasted disgusting. Chips were warm and looked like they had been sat around it was awful

First visit to Morrisons cafe and thought we'd have a nice lunch. I ordered the mini fish and chips. The fish was lovely, crisp and tasty but the chips were a bit overdone and the mushy peas were tasteless. My mum ordered the veggie sausage, egg and beans and asked if the egg could be swapped for another item, such as hash browns, to be told that they could remove the item but the price would be the same and any additional items would be chargeable. I'm not sure what difference it really makes! The veggie sausages werent very tasty. The staff in the cafe weren't very friendly and almost seemed annoyed when taking our order. Think it could be a great place if customer service improves as choice of food is great value for money as long it's not overcooked. The toilets were in desperate need of attention as the smell was awful and clearly there are some plumbing issues.

Well , just dropped in because working local.I had the breakfast, came out v.fast but that was because it was all pre cooked (which I would expect) but the fried bread looked like it was yesterdays, broke into pieces when I tried to cut it.2 mushrooms that were whole and uncooked.Fried egg looked like it was out a Haribo bag. 2 bacon one fresh one from yesterday.1 fresh tomato uncooked.beans&sausage ok. I’m amazed that Morrisons hasn’t got somebody overseeing this garbage they’re sending out.Never again.

Excellent fish and chips today very tasty fresh sweet white cod fish and chips were beautiful can't wait to return and hope it's the same

Waitress brought out our 2 breakfast as ordered banged them down on the table toast flew off plate and she told me to put the toast on my plate which I didn't do I asked for replacement toast. Very poor service

Where to start! Had to wipe own table and clear it as nearly every table had dirty plates piled high. Had to wait for hot drinks for about 5 minutes. Then no sugar, cutlery or napkins so had to ask for these, the knives asked for twice! Cheese and ham toasties eventually arrived but were not toasty hot! Chips came and were cold and tasteless! Best part was when we left. Terrible service, not enough staff and won't be wasting money here again. Should be Morris'off's not Morrisons.

Used to be a pleasure to eat here, not now. Food was not very good standard. Peas full of water and cold. No decaf tea. Very, very, unappetising and dull. Will not be hurrying back

Long wait for food, no warning this would be the case. Few mugs, out of cutlery and coffee machines not working. Hot chocolate was nothing more than milk with a little brown colouring. Drinks were luke warm. Staff seemed disinterested, no apologies, no sense of being interested in customers. Wasn't even very busy! Never got to try the food, gave up waiting before it came.

I visited Morrison in Binley 04/08/21 had the most amazing fish n chips ever eaten with thick white flesh and super thin very crispy batter. My only complaint about my meal was that the little pot that contained the tartare sauce had filthy dried up red remnants from the previous content on the wall of the dish - I sent it back not requesting another. I t was shameful the servers brought this out to the table. It is shameful of them, Obviously did not care about the standards required but I blame the training - down to the management running the cafeteria / restaurant I was appalled at the disgusting state of the teapots on the exterior. the tea stains inside the mugs along with some cutley with dried food on - these suppose to be cleaned - NOT !!!! Yet again, I blame the training, lack of standards and the management running it My first ever meal here too. The lack of cleaning standards are not a good advertisement for Morrisons. It needs whipping into shape re all staff involved

I had a jacket potato with Tuna and added cheese , the potato was not hot which was disappointing . The worse thing was the fish my husband had, Morrisons now put a paper on the plate for some reason but it was covered in oil, the fish was soaking in oil and was really off putting. I dont know why they hadn't drained the oil of the fish. Such a disappointing visit.

Used to love this place but it's gone downhill since reopening after covid closure. Great social distancing in place but the staff are rude and unhelpful. I was told that I could have my breakfast without egg due to my allergy but couldn't have it without fried bread despite that being fried in egg. Lady on the till didn't seem to care that I had an allergy. It has put me off returning.

I visited the cafe in morrisons for breakfast with my wife while our car was on the garage. Wow, it was almost as cold inside the as it was outside. Firstly I ordered a breakfast wanting some extras to be told they had none. My wife wanted eggs benedict to be told they had no sauce for it. This is a supermarket, with plenty of stock of what they hadn’t got. Then when it came out my toast was missing, then to top it all off, the food was barely tepid. Having used this cafe in the past and been totally satisfied previously the was a visit at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Always love an occasional breakfast / brunch from morrisons (available until 3pm!!!) On this occasion, there was an item unavailable but they give the option to substitute for any other breakfast item. Unlimited hot drinks also a great option.

Nothing wrong with the service or food offering BUT I have never sat anywhere so COLD to have a cuppa and a sandwich. Not a single person in the cafe had taken their coat off - and it certainly was not a place to relax .... unless you are a polar bear. Turn the heating up please.

A typical Morrison's cafe but a good simple menu. Order at the till on electronically on entering. Fast service and very good value. Special deals for children.

Arrived at Morrisons in Coventry skipworth rd for a turkey dinner at approximately 1pm only to be told they’d sold this is the second time now what time do you have to get there to get one, the annoying thing is you get your drinks only to be told at the checkout there’s none left, surely it wouldn’t be too much trouble to put a notice saying they’ve sold out, would save an awful lot of frustration and annoyance to us older folks.

Popped by for a little bite to eat (we do about once a month) as we hate cooking, we needed to go shopping and its cheap!Ordered a Lasagne and a Pie, with a portion of Chips. Excellent price and food arrived quickly. Everything was well cooked and warm (ish in the case of the chips).The Lasagne was tasty and i would order again without hesitation. The Pie was cheap, the filling gravy was watery and a little tasteless (I'm a Yorkshire Man, I like my Gravy God-Damnit!). Pastry was lovely but the accompanying Gravy pot felt far too small, which was probably a good thing as again it was tastless and watery!Parking is perfect (its a supermarket), entry is good for all person (able bodied or otherwise) and the food was nice. Even the pie wasn't a deal breaker and I'll just order somethign else the next time!

Had breakfast and was excellent..good value for money..staff was very friendly and attentive..very clean and bright.

Called in for a quick lunch with a friend & we were both impressed by the decor & layout. The only main problem we experienced was the shortened menu, missing off some good items. Other problems related to the lack of available cutlery, which we had to ask for & wait while they got it from the kitchen. The ladies who brought the food to the tables are brilliant - it’s just a pity that diners leave the tables in such a mess for them. Worth a try, so give it a go!

I do come here a lot. But more as a convenience then for the great food. I tend to have breakfast as I am not a fan of there dry chips and roast potatoes. I only have the small breakfast as the others are too much for me. Bacon does tends to be cold all of the time, but overall a nice breakfast

Went there with a friend at around 530pm Saturday for a quick bite to eat. Cafe only had a handful of customers but 35 minutes after ordering we hadn’t received our meals. No apology given at the counter when my friend went up to check & a further wait till the meals arrived. Food ok but given that they have reduced to menu & vastly increased the prices I think keeping the customers happy should be a priority & a better service is needed, especially when they have a nearly empty cafe! The waiting staff could also be encouraged to put on a smile instead of looking so glum as they move around the tables serving the food. The atmosphere isn’t good & we were not made to feel welcome!

Stopped here today for dinner. Everything that we ordered was fine. Nothing to complain about! For the money it's great

Called in to do some shopping then stopped for something to eat at lunch time. Although there is @ great range of food I opted for the mini fish & chips with peas. The meal was well presented, hot & delicious. It was also quite filling considering it was a mini portion. The cafe itself was clean & tidy & the staff pleasant & helpful. My only complaint is that the sachets of condiments are impossible to tear open. Only the salt, in a paper wrapper, was easy to use. Such a waste as several customers I spoke to also had to abandon the packets, all going straight into the waste bin. Not good enough Morrisons!

I came to the Morrisons Cafe for a breakfast on a December Saturday morning. The food was decent and cheaply priced and it came quickly. Portion sizes were good and if you ordered tea or coffee you could refill it for free. This cafe is mainly self service and the interior is functional rather then being luxurious. This is a good choice if you are staying at the near by Premier Inn as the breakfast is far cheaper then the one offered there.

We were heading off to Minehead for the weekend and decided to come in here for a decent breakfast and to stock up on provisions. It’s always very busy but the food came quickly and was top drawer, kept us going for the long journey.

Went for a breakfast, cafe needs a good clean... trays dirty teapots stained with pieces missing off them grubby. Ordered 2 big breakfasts with extra toast after waiting quite a while ..... I could not believe what happened next.

Popped in for a bacon sandwich at lunchtime and there was a long queue. Efficient staff but slow customers. Long time for meal to come but acceptable when it arrived. Nice coffee.

We came here after an early hospital visit after realising most places don't open till ten. Plenty of options at a great price. Could have been a little hotter but that didnt take the enjoyment away too much.

Had a great small breakfast and a big breakfast great service and great breakfast it was great staff good

Why oh why did they spend a fortune on re designing the cafe & let the service drop? This used to be a nice place to drop in for a coffee & snack, or reasonable priced meal, but it’s all going down hill these days. I’ve been in there twice in the past few weeks to meet friends & found having to wait for staff to appear at the service counter, dirty cups, tables full of empty items etc a bit much, then there’s the prices that have rocketed without the same level of increase in the quality of the food! Both times we have had to go & ask for cutlery as the holders were empty - are all the Morruson stores being run like this or is it just Coventry?

We have been visiting Morrisons care at Finley for many years. The staff although always overworked as there are not enough of them, are always very pleasant and polite. The fish and chips are the best we have ever tasted. However beware of the breakfast! Nine times out of ten it is always lukewarm and invariably I have to send it back., But when it is hot it is very good. All other meals are piping hot. That is the only negative point about the cafe, otherwise the food is good and very reasonably priced

Called in there this morning with a friend for breakfast. My order was just for two slices white toast. When it arrived it was cut nicely into triangles, with a smudge of spread in the middle of each piece. No sign of butter being put on any of it & especially not near any of the edges! They have recently put up all their prices, but have also cut back on the products they serve. We had to ask for cutlery to be put out, no serviettes were available & this was just before 10am & the cafe was only half full. I used to visit here every few weeks & had great food at reasonable prices, but my last few visits have been a disappointment.

Dropped into Morrisons on midday Saturday for a spot of shopping and then lunch and what a nice surprise it was, crispy battered fish with chips and peas for me and steamed salmon with vegetables for the wife washed down with a pot of tea each and all for a grand total of £13. Very nice decor and nice waiting staff. Would have gave Morrisons 5 stars but for the terrible state of the cutlery which looked like it was covered in baked bean juice. Not one but 12 of the 15 knifes that were available. This problem was soon rectified.

On a business trip meeting colleagues from all over the country we were delayed due to traffic so decided quickest and easiest was Morrissons cafe. Kirsty went above and beyond to keep us happy so we could get on with our discussion. Food was quick and really good.

Food acceptable at reasonable prices. Corrected a mistake with no fuss. Busy and clearly popular. Pleasant respite from the chores of shopping.

My wife and I visited the cafe at Morrison's on the way home to save us having to cook after a long hot day at work. We arrived at 1630pm no staff were to be seen at all for 15 minutes, when someone finally arrived we were told they had no burger meals left!

Lovely for childrens meals and cosy good value we regularly take our grandchildren as it is their first choice.

Had breakfast here on one of the mornings of my well earned weekend away and was disappointed to say the least. Firstly the order was taken and not processed right. I tried to order a breakfast to be told my friend had already ordered for me. Sat down with my drink breakfast arrived for my friends but not mine SO another order was given hence i had to wait and eat on my own plus the breakfast was cold but i had run out of time by then so had to eat something. This isnt the 1st time i have eaten here but it is def the last every time there is a mess up in order or a long wait. Given it 3 chances now NO MORE thank you.

So much to choose from, all served with a smile in an intimate area warmed by a log burner which is always burning. Only downside is coffee expensive but it is a large cup

Sadly they still haven't got it together in the cafe owing to the lack of trained staff...sad because following the really lovely refurbishment of the whole dining area this is still not the place to eat unless you have too....

Not the normal place I'd go for breakfast but spent the night at the Premiere Inn next door whilst visiting my daughter at Warwick university.

Visited this newly refurbished cafe yesterday, how lovely are the new tables & chairs, plus surroundings,100% improvement. I enjoyed the big breakfast for £4.50, this appeared to be a popular choice in the morning, served by friendly staff too. See you soon 👍

Two of us, spent £15 between us. Ok service. Just eat and go. Real basic. Both had fish and chips, apple crumble for desert. Came out hot. Nice and simple can't complain.

Eaten here on several occasions and always had good fresh food served. Excellent eggs Benedict, as good as (and much cheaper) that served in high quality hotels. Everything cooked fresh to order.

Never order what you actually want because you wont get it anyway. They always forget something. Tea and coffee is probably the best things they do. Sandwiches and cakes always taste stale

Came into the store for a few things and as it was Saturday afternoon decided the cafe here would be as good as anywhere else. Breakfast is served till 3 so we both chose that and by the time we had poured our orange juice / coffee and got to the pay desk, a women was standing with our meals! Great food, price and service.

We love the prices and general quality of the cafe, once we sent some thing back that was cold but they happily changed it for fresher hotter things.

went in for a breakfast and waited in the que or 30 minutes as it was quite busy in there we ordered and went to our table another 20-30 minutes passed again so my mum decided she would take my 1.5 yr old niece to change her nappy, my mum searched everwhere for the baby changing and was told no there isnt one *what supermarket doesnt have baby changing* (Disgracefull), they have mother and toddler spaces in the carpark any way mum had to xhange littles one nappy in the back seat of our car, when she returned another 20 minutes later our food still hadnt arrived we started noticing ithe table numbers like 36 - 37 -38 being served and i thaght hang on were 35, so I went to spesk to the lady she had it sorted within 10 -15 minutes and offered us all a free mug of tea, the food did taste good when it finally arrvived ive rated this a score of 2 because they were really busy (no fault of there own) and very short staffed, and because of the wait for our food from a cafe was about 1hour from the time of order and O give the other point because the staff were brilliant in helping us resolve the issue, if it wasnt for the staff being as friendly as they were it would of been a one for the score so well done to team morrisons for helping us with our complaint, please get a baby changing room though, its unconvient to change a baby in a car.

Ordered breakfast as I'm usually a fan of Morrisons back home but it came out warm and the order wrong the lady on the till didn't really seem to know what she was doing

sometimes fried eggs served too lightly cooked (almost raw) or golf ball hard this can spoil a breakfast although overall the food and service is good. They will replace the egg, but by past experience it comes back like rubber (as though they have just re-fried it).

Service is often slow but I've always had a good meal. Sometimes pop in for Fish and chips and have always been pleased. It always seems freshly cooked and the fish is tasty. My only grip is that the' bean to cup' coffee never seems to have seen many beans and is a bit tasteless. But overall good value for money food wise

We ordered our food and within 10 minutes we were all ready eating. Each meal was freshly cooked and was to perfection.

Service was slow and took three attempts to get the order right. Dirty tables and nobody bothering to clean them. Won't be hurrying back.

Possible the best eating place in Coventry.. Popular with the older members of the Community. Staff very nice indeed & good pies too.

A good value restaurant, serving fairly plain food. Good for families and all ages. Has offers such as a free child's meal with an adult meal.

I often use this for a quick meal with friends as it handy for a cheap & filling meal. Service is often slow, but food comes out freshly cooked. However, the fried foid is often swimming in oil & items such as chips are often cold on the plate. When this happens I send it back & they replace, so it's pot luck as to how yours turns out. Having said that, I've had a few really good meals there. It has recently changed some items on the menu, which shows they try to keep up with trends, though it remains very much an old fashioned type family eatery!

Basic no trills restaurant serving good value basic food. Good for lunch on the go while you are shopping or even passing on the nearby A46 and using as a refueling stop and taking advantage of the cheap petrol, large car park and convenient restaurant.
