Very chilled vibe. It’s small with two outdoor terraces. Dark nightclub vibe inside not a bar! Lots of seating on the terrace. Easy to find, parking down the side roads - we had a great night but it was for a private event not sure it’s the place to meet lots of people if you’re on a night out!

Good place regularly able to host party's here, a bit stuffy but it gets the job done

Went to the quiz for the first time and really enjoyed the atmosphere and event, however owing to the incredibly rude bar staff I will not be returning. The drinks we received did not match the advertised quantity of ‘four pints’ and after pointing out this disparity, the bar staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Even after the issue was ostensibly resolved, a second member of staff felt it necessary to come back to further insult a member of our party. I don’t think anyone should be made to feel so uncomfortable when calmly and politely explaining something they have paid money for does not match the description represented on the menu.

Best place in Coventry. Great quality with reasonable price.

DO NOT GO HERE Our friend was drugged and sexually assaulted while STANDING AT THE BAR IN FRONT OF STAFF AND PEOPLE, no one did a thing and we left very worried with our friend who is a female telling us she was sexually assaulted by a guy while in there, we know for sure she was drugged as she was passing out and showing signs of being drugged, please if you care for your safety or the safety of others don’t go here.

One of the best and most underrated places in the city centre for a night out. Try it. Awesome

Great pub for students. The vibe in there is really good and the drinks are well priced too. They do a quiz on a Tuesday and bingo on a Thursday which are both great nights for students

Great place to hang out with friends. They have good burgers, fair wings (too much sauce) and various drink options. However it is not a cheap place. The best thing about this place is the quiz nights. The staff is generally nice and friendly.

Table of 4 visited at 11am for lunch, there were 3 other people seated in the restaurant. Two of us ordered salads and the other two ordered hot dogs. After placing the order at 11:10am we waited for our food. 20mins later we were told by the waitress that they didn’t have any hot dogs so they chose to also have salads. 50mins after placing our order, our salads arrived. They were not complex salads (just had chicken, croutons, iceberg lettuce and a drizzle of sauce) but they even missed off the Parmesan cheese. We felt that this was a ridiculous time to wait for simple salads and there was no apology from the waitress. We most certainly won’t bother returning, and would not recommend to people unless they enjoy waiting this length of time in a very quiet place for food!!

Well folks, I am bias as I was here to see my daughter make her hometown dj debut. But it's a lovely little place..I first started drinking here a mere 40 years ago and it hasn't really changed much in this time. Friendly door staff, drinks much cheaper upstairs but you can take these down in plastic beakers! The lighting downstairs was good..but please sort the dreadful toilets out..they are disgusting!!!

Really loved the offer on Pan cakes. The taste was good. I would recommend this place for a quick snack. There are many other offers on other days.

Not the best experience, there are better places to go around Coventry.

Food is rubbish (had uncooked poorly reheated wings yesterday and a burger with a stale bun). Undercooked chicken made me vomit. Advertised deals were terrible, 2 for £10 burgers cut include a drink so was more expensive for all but one burger which would save you like 70p. Go elsewhere.

Geography questions in the quiz were not geography related

Great staff. Menu is good but I would say that the drinks are not always great. Menu is good for a student focused audience 😁

On the day we attended the card machine wasn't working, 3 of us ordered at the same time, one meal turned up fairly quickly, the other two meals took half an hour. One of them was meant to be a vegetarian burger but we were given a beef burger! The burgers were soggy and had too much sauce. All in all a bad experience and we won't be going back!

I was having a very pleasant evening with my soon to be girlfriend, unfortunately it came to an abrupt ending when the person 2 tables down got shot in the head. Anyone considering visiting I recommend you sit in the far left corner to avoid you or your friend/partner experiencing the same.

Excellent friendly bar mainly frequented by the student population, quite times early in the evening,a good drinks selection and a good food menu with good sized portions. There is a step up on to a decking entrance/smoking area. then the bar is on one level,function room available upstairs

Top night i dont like drum and bass but freindly atmosphere and nobody looking for a fight made it a good first time experience.even the door staff were freindly

Went here for a 30th birthday party staff were helpful and polite. The venue was clean ,drinks are reasonably priced. Parking your car can be a problem .

Food was fantastic and loved the atmosphere at Ivy House. all staff were so helpful and I highly recommend to anyone in the area. Will certainly be visiting again

We had the upstairs room on Sat Eve for my daughters 30th, The size and layout was great and a little balcony/terrace was an added bonus, After we left the bar that eve I had misplaced my car/door keys, they ended up in a box we had for rubbish (which we cleared away) I contacted the owner (Twice )Tij who was very attentive and concerned, I mention the rubbish box which we had and he went to the bins and found them, I live in Leeds and he offered to post them but my daughter lives in Coventry and she was collecting them, Much appreciated and well done:)

Really nice interior and atmosphere in the main bar. Staff are friendly and the food is very nice and is a reasonable price with a selection of special offers on every day. Bingo is good fun and well organised too with some excellent prizes. Would highly recommend at any time of the day

Went here for a party upstairs, nice little venue, decent drinks and prices and doormen were friendly.

They serve very decent food here, for a very reasonable price. Very quiet midweek at lunchtime when the university is out of term/semester time. Would highly recommend for a quick lunch with a few mates

Expensive drinks and toilets are awful!! Only one female toilet so you have to queue and they're always dirty.

I had a gum stuck to my clothes after taking a seat.

Drinks are expensive, bouncers are down right rude and vile. Obviously the person in question has deep down issues, maybe he was bullied at school and now thinks walking around like a sergeant in authority gives him a power trip. Never again, lesson learnt one place to avoid in Coventry. There are nicer places in Coventry to visit who actually respect their customers.

I have been visiting this place for the past 2 years, they have cheap food and good drink prices. I absolutely love bingo Thursdays, full of prizes and good vibe. Also, they started doing 2 for 1 cocktail, porn star martini is my favourite so far. In general, this place is perfect to eat and have a drink, or more for a reasonable price. 😋

Good priced food, lots of variety. Although it can take a while to receive orders and sometimes with missing items. Overall a good place. Good music too !

Small but pleasant pub, music screens, maybe a little quirky, staff efficient, ok for a drink, strange the hand dryer in the corridor, not seen that before, all good though, occasionally seems to be shut though when others open, there are balconies and a roof, good in the summer, you drive by and see them up there looking down

At £6 for a decent sized burger with slaw on the side and chips with a beer included how can you say no? Friendly service and clean place to eat. How can you walk past it? Great value.

Attended downstairs venue for a night with friends of dancing and drinking. Lovely intimate venue. Pricey drinks £3.60 for a shot, £3.00 for a pint of cola. One toilet without seat in ladies. No hand dryers in gents. No bins for waste toilet tissue. The only saving grace was the excellent bar/ security

Visited here after the uni degree show. The bar is modern and has an array of drinks and food available. We stayed here for about 3 hours drinking and catching up! We ordered a few bar nibbles, nachos and cheese garlic bread and they were very yummy!

We participated to the Quiz Night on Tuesday, it was very funny and well executed, although the questions regarded information available mostly to older people so we did not have many chances at winning the prize. Anyway it was a good way to attract more people to the pub.

Runs a fantastic quiz every Tuesday, and the deals, like the beer and burger for £6 are great value!

Attended a Baby shower here, the upstairs room was a great venue for private hire, good size room for 20+ people nice balcony outside, the cocktail bar was great, really reasonably priced, girl behind bar made some great looking and tasty drinks, worth a visit to start your night off.

Love the choice of beers, and the food is great for the price. Toilets pretty grim tho, but don't be put off, if you like ipa beers there's always a few good ones on tap. Decor is really good and vibe is chilled

Went here for a beer..which wasn't a bad one but the male toilets were disguising looked as if someone had taken a poo in the urinal then when turned to wash my hands looked as if someone had explosive diarrhoea in the sink aswell! Considering was empty with about 4 members of staff standing around wouldn't have been too difficult to clean but just looked at me strange when I complained, massive let down to a nice bar
