It's nice place and obviously the food is like in ever Costa. But today experience with manager Amy left confused., she spoke to me absolutely out of line. When i asked the meal deal after I have paid for coffe. She actually was so rude about it. She confirmed in rude way that she will have to do refund and bla bla bla. Yes, please why is this a problem . Don't need to be rude about it please. Yes I want to safe the £1,20. Please don't be so insulting about it. SHE LOOKED at ME FROM TOP TO BOTTOM £1.20??? Wow but i was just smiling and yes just for £1.20 you will do all trancsation again, what a hard work.!

A lot of improvements required in comparison to other costa branches. Taste is not the same as others . Guessing the machine not deep cleaned

Costa within Next, good and normal service. I have concerns about hygiene because milks were located next to the people without lids. Many seats are available.

The food was mid but what Hurt my feelings the most was the low-key bad attitude of the lady serving me at the till I waited silently why she finished her conversation with her friend and then she turned to me to say "are you ready to order" like I wasn't standing infront of you waiting while you and your friend are talking about tik toks

Standard Costa, within Next. Can be a challenge to find a seat/table, when busy!

Well popped in because a friend wanted a cake to take out. Two staff members studiously ignored me for 5 minutes and only acknowledged my existence when other patrons arrived and we then made a queue. I’d have been in and out in less time if they had just had half an ounce of decency to serve me. Absolutely terrible place. I’ll make my friend go to Greggs next time!

Dine in and gave us card cup as take out.

Best coffee shop in Coventry ricoh arena and staff are brilliant bring drink to you and food is great in there staff are rush off feet all time never get time to have break it all busy shop me and my mum we are always in Costa coffee shop down ricoh arena staff call mum now and manager does as well manager and staff are brilliant and great as well

Always go a few times a week for coffee, toastie etc. All of the staff are so friendly and efficient. The manager cannot do enough for you and recommended I get the APP as she noticed I was a regular. Food and coffee wonderful. Thank you x

Great spacious coffee shop for a meet-up and a good chat over a couple of coffees and cake.

Popped in for a coffee with my daughter. The queue was long, with 5 staff members behind the counter. I thought, oh no. I'm in for a long wait! The team worked quickly and efficiently, never getting in each others way. Lovely warm welcome, and service with a smile, even though they were busy. We only waited a couple of minutes in the queue. Found a comfy seat to enjoy the coffee and cake, and a five minute break from the day. Well done team, definitely popping back again.

I have always received a warm welcome here from the staff. I love their range of refreshments both hot and cold. The service here has always been excellent. The staff work very hard and should be credited for it.

Always a favourite of mine. No annoying requests for your name to write on a cup. Good coffee and selection of other drinks. Friendly staff. The sausage bap is good for a light lunch.

Staff were really friendly but I couldn’t get over the fact that there were flies sat on top and flying around all the pastries and food on the counter

Service was friendly, my drink tasted delicious. Conveniently located in the busy retail park but you have to go inside Next and up the escalator to get to it.

Really very unclean. Dirty toilet, floors, chairs, counter tops. Only good thing hot coffee, friendly staff

The waitress was by herself, it was quite busy but she was quick and efficient. She was very polite even though she was rushed off her feet. Drinks were hot and cake was yummy !

The staff member that served my daughter was very welcoming and had a wonderful smile on her face.

The staff is overwhelmed. There is only one person doing coffee. Queue it’s all the way down to ground floor. And because of this the drinks quality are altered.

Worst Costa I’ve ever been to. Firstly the machines and countertops were filthy on ordering and that reflected in the taste of the coffee. Myself and my sister were sat near the condiments station and had finished our coffees and having a good old chin wag as you do in a coffee shop. A staff member at the counter kept looking over at us to the point it made us feel uncomfortable and shouted to her colleague, “why do people stay sat talking when they have finished, do they not realise others need to sit down?!” Very obviously aiming the comment at us. As paying customers, we should be able to sit as long as we please without being made to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. The whole of the cafe were doing the exact same as us yet we felt targeted. I think the store manager needs to invest their time and effort in recruiting more professional and kind staff members who care about good customer service and the maintenance and hygiene of their work space.

Great coffee just a little on the noisy side when trying to hold a conversation.

This is my regular place for my coffee fix … every one is super welcoming. And the NEW manager has been so amazing and honestly so interested in her customers, which is so nice . Truly wonderful lady . Also Sam who works there knows my order, again this is also so personal and nice. Especially in this day and age. Well done 👍🏻 guys xxx

Staff lovely but hate being offered takeaway cups at eat un prices as they hadn't enough staff to wash cups! Seems to be getting grimy over a long time of not deep cleaning . Lights are filthy and have been since before lockdown . Hardworking , friendly staff, let down by environment for customers

I usually go shopping in Tesco and sometime i like to pop in here for the latte, but some time the staff seems miserable (no any smile at their face). Not coming back again. Never

As all costas, clean, tidy, generic.

Think the staff need to check dates on milk. Ordered 2 drinks today (one oat based another dairy). As soon as my boyfriend finished his he was sick. When we went to swill out the cup the milk was curdled at the bottom! Not a great way to spend a day off work.

Friendly staff, lovely greeting and fast service. A breastfeeding mother needed to feed her baby and staff sorted her order at the table and brought it over for you. Xx

Of course i'm here, not going to tell you about shopping or buying socks. Coffee time again. It does miss a book store on site. Ideal location and the standard stuff.

Absolutely love their hot chocolates!! Mozzarella and pesto paninis are gorgeous too

What can you say? It's a Costa (lot) coffee shop selling expensive drinks, cakes etc. Although the coffee is very good it's not a place I would visit daily, nice every now and then though.

On 1st floor of next so had to wait until it opened but still good service

Slowest service, always under staffed. Wouldn't put this Costa on your morning pit stop. It's not the staff who are the issue there needs to be more employees at the richo

Long queue and had to empty table of dirty cups but good coffee as usual

Staff were really friendly, tables were cleaned often and spacious, only downside was a constant loud beeping mid conversation every 10 minutes or so.

Service was very slow. Behind the counter is filthy. There was a fly crawling on the counter where there was chocolate powder and milk everywhere. No urgency to wipe sides down. Also the girl who made my lattes mixed fresh milk with heated milk and then re heated it!!! Gross!!!

Very friendly team working behind the counter and most accomodating and polite. Only downside was the number of places not cleared of used crockery.... But overall and enjoyable, all be it, brief visit.

Staff shortage - Closed. Website says open. Can we get any companies that operate professionally with good customer service anymore? Too many businesses are STILL using the easy ‘Covid’ excuse. Seems like poor service, reduced service, no service is continuing well after the pandemic. Running on minimum staff to save money and create more money for the wealthy shareholders seems to be the business model these days, in return, We the customers, get a slow service, unreliable service, lower standards, but still expected to pay the premium price…

Opening times on website say till 8pm got there last Wednesday 6.30pm and queued 15mins for coffee and a tea was given take away cups! 5 mins after sitting down to drink it was told they close at 7pm so drink uo and leave. Quite rude I thought....could have gone to Greggs if wanted a walking drink.

Took 20 mins to be served. Only 2 people seem to be working. They blamed lack of staff for poor performance. Sorry but there is a 20,000+ seater stadium within 200 yards of the place. It is not difficult to work out there is a football or rugby match on. My chocolate tiffin was at more than room temperature. It would have been better chilled.

No staff . Empty cups everywhere. Think you need to put more staff on. Because it's not fair on those who are working. So come on play fair with your staff

Awful service from a young man Wednesday 16th June at around 4-5pm (glasses, fair curly hair). He seemed very annoyed that I was there and placing an order, very rude and short with me. I ordered 4 cold drinks, of which 3 were coolers, we got 3 coolers that were juice with big chunks of ice, he didn't make them properly and my children's 2 had to go in the bin as they couldn't drink them. Next time will go to the Tesco cafe.

Me and my husband we had a coffee from Costa at Ricoh arena and the coffee was very very nice ... The two girls they are names Adele and klaudia working in there they make nice coffee and they are friendly ... Thank you girls will done

Very disappointed we have just been turned away as there was nowhere to queue??? We went to marks and spencer instead. There were no problems there we queued for approximately 5 minutes and very polite helpful staff. I won't bother returning to Costa and I'm very surprised they can afford to turn customers away.

Staff rude -will not visit again

Wish I hadn’t had a coffee here today, very disappointed, all tables were dirty , 1 boy serving and 1 girl eventually came out a cleared away a table after we had finished our coffees. Couldn’t ask the server to clean the table as he looked like he would probably walk out. COSTA if you can’t put in enough staff to be COVID friendly then you should close- you are a health risk !!!

Just been for my first visit out for a coffee, I went to costa in side Next at Coventry arena . I couldn’t believe how dirty it was . Trays not cleaned away on most tables , my tray was dirty , and the floor could do with a good clean , also there was a few flies, which kept landing on my cup . I won’t be going there in a hurry again

Been in Costa today at richo and tables Covered in dirt empty cups everywhere trays aswel staff were rude flies all about first coffee since lock down was looking forward to it but was really unhappy

I thought it expensive .. there were 4 members of staff with one other customer present who had already been served .. it took a long time for us to be served.. they didnt seem able to cope

Ordered a Christmas Irish velvet hot chocolate changed full price, give drink when I asked were the cream was I was told we have ran out !!! No apology and next door to Tesco so surely the could have gone and bought some. Staff very rude when challenged.

I go Coster so often this one in Recco has the worst customer service , I asked for glass of water and this girls filled my glass with warm water and latterly chucked it at me, is this how you should be treated here .? Customers spend alot of money here and I know the management dont know what's happening dont thing i will go again. Zahir.

Tried to use this store for work one day. After trying to us both the shop and next WiFi that the shop is located in I gave up. No WiFi working at all Full of tesco staff buying coffee so massive queues and aircon on full whack

Very very busy, abit pricey but they do one of the best hot chocolates and there toasted tea cake is yummy. I like going when someone else pays the bill!!!!
