Usually have breakfast in the Morrisons I'm shopping in, so I've had breakfast in a few, the breakfast and service was good and I would go back again

We called here or breakfast and were very impressed. The lovely lady on the till was friendly and helpful, our meals were perfect and were delivered to our table very soon after ordering. Could not fault anything.

The last time I bothered to review this restaurant/cafe I said it was not up to scratch, well my experience yesterday teatime was appalling, firstly we were greeted with "We have no Fish, no Pies or Mashed potato's" As we had our grandchildren with us we decided to order from what was still available. On a personal note my Scampi, chips and peas were not worth the £7 they charged, very little scampi inside the batter, the chips looked like and tasted as though they had been reheated and the garden peas were clap cold. If you enjoy food then can I suggest you don't bother eating here..... EVER!

The decor is fresh and clean the seating is varied with comfortable areas as well as hard back and seat chairs. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for customers but I have only given average because the food wasn’t brilliant and the coffee was awful. The food was only warm when it arrived and tasted as though it had been sat for a while before being served, the drinks are dispensed from a machine and are tasteless and cold. Improving the cafe environment is all very well but the food has to be the star and sadly here it isn’t. Also this touch screen ordering is dreadful whoever thought it up wants to seriously have a rethink. The majority of customers are older people who like to order in the traditional way those using the touch screen appear to be generally younger but still struggle to order what they want it is time consuming doesn’t cut down on queues. I really can’t see why a person has been replaced with this faceless piece of nonsense. This cafe used to be the service stop for the nearby A1 if it wants to attract customers it needs to improve the food and drink on offer and use people not machines for ordering it has some lovely staff so use them.

We popped in for breakfast because we haven’t quite found our way round yet and fancied a proper cooked breakfast. Lovely welcome. Woman on counter very accommodating. We forgot more card. She said just keep receipt and bring card next time and we’ll put points on. Super kind. Ordered breakfast it arrived in an adequate time and was piping hot! Brilliant!! Really tasty for what we paid and came with plenty of toast! Tables were all clean and loads of comfy places to sit. We’d defo pop back

The price is very good, the cleanliness and decor is very good, but somehow they just don't seem able to put this quality onto you plate.Ate here last evening teatime with our grandchildren because the "Kids Meals" are enjoyed by them, however we ordered the fish and chips and the fish was excellent, freshly fried, tasty and hot, but the chips and peas tasted as they had been sat there for ages waiting for someone to order a meal, this for me spoilt the dining experience. I guess it's true to say that you get what you pay for, but it could be so much better.I hate cold or lukewarm food when it should be hot! Please try harder Morrisons, it shouldn't be that hard to achieve.

Called in at Morrisons to do a spot of shopping and decided to have some lunch in the on site cafe. One of the worst decisions food wise we have ever made.We just had something simple a burger and chips, what could possibly go wrong with that !!!None of the tables were cleared and all were very dirty so had to do a DIY clearance as no staff in attendance. The food duly arrived after 20 minuets only to have mine thrown on the table causing the chips to fly across the table,"oh I'll get you some more was the reply" replacement chips arrived on a saucer and were just deposited on my plate. My burger was a half pounder with cheese, to my delight when I opened the basic bread bun I discovered 2 pathetic burnt burgers with a piece of lettuce, the meat content of the burgers I am still looking for !!!My wife's chicken burger with salad was equally pathetic in Quality and execution. This delightful meal was £15 including 2 coffees, agai the worst food I have ever eaten.

We use Morrisons restaurant/cafe's quite regularly with our grandchildren, not only because kids eat free if we are eating, but also the children like the choice's on the Kids menu and it really is value for money eating.

We have been to Harrogate and Ripon Morrisons, Ripon is definately better in my view. Fresher, better staff, more appealing. As I live between the two really, the Knaresborough one is more convenient, but I don't like it, bad service, food not up to scratch, so I go to Ripon, all staff much better, more friendly, food nice. Thanks Ripon.

Oh. My. GOD. Let me tell you about my night at this pub in Knaresborough because, honey, it was an absolute disaster – and not the fun, reality-TV kind. No, this was the kind of drama that would make a telenovela look like a casual tea party. I sauntered in, thinking I was about to have the night of my life – and with this face, why wouldn’t I? The place was cute enough, I’ll give it that, and I thought, “This might actually be fabulous.” But oh no, darling, the universe had other plans. First off, the online ordering system was down. DOWN. In 2024! I mean, I might as well have been trying to send a telegram! The whole point of going to a pub these days is to sip a cocktail while casually tapping away on your phone, right? But noooo. Instead, I had to walk to the bar like some peasant from the 1800s. The nerve! The bar? PACKED. I could feel the wrinkles forming as I waited, endlessly, for someone to notice me. And when they finally did? They had the audacity to act like it was my fault that their ancient system had crumbled. I swear, I was two seconds away from giving them a live performance of “And I Am Telling You” right there. But wait, there’s a twist: the toilets. GORGEOUS. I mean, I walked in and thought I’d been transported to a high-end spa. Marble, mirrors, the lighting was divine—honestly, it was like a little slice of heaven in the middle of this disaster zone. I spent more time in the bathroom admiring the décor than I did actually eating or drinking. Priorities, darling. So, here’s the tea: if you’re after a stunning restroom experience, by all means, swing by. But if you’re hoping for decent service or a smooth ordering process, save yourself the heartbreak. I left hungry, frustrated, but at least with a fabulous selfie from the loo. 1.5 stars – And that’s only because the toilets SLAYED.

Great service. Good selection of food and drinks. Lots of seating but always a bit of a queue when ordering, but it's in the center of town so to be expected

A lovely cosy atmosphere with very pleasant staff. Nicely located in the market place, in Knaresborough. It was my favourite coffee shop - calling in after a day of walking and before I walked back to the caravan site I was staying on.

We recently stopped at Wetherby Drive Thru and were refused service as we had a dog with us. We all know that Costa have recently changed their policies and allow dogs in most coffee shops. Despite sharing the specific branch amenities stating dogs allowed the staff were totally inflexible. Staff should be fully aware of company policies and Costa should update door posters at the same point in time with such changes to avoid ambiguity. Finally staff should not hide behind the fact they are a franchise, branches branded as Costa have identical look and feel and follow same policies otherwise there are inconsistencies which lead to poor customer service and satisfaction.
