I ordered 4 jacket potatoes for kids (adult size only available) plus full breakfast and also wanted fish and chips for kids- wasn't available. Young woman charched me for jacket potatoes and full breakfast first then... she said I could have a chicken nuggets instead of fish and chips - I said OK... She wasn't sure how to add chicken nuggets to the bill so she would charge me first for jacket potatoes and breakfast the we will sort the rest- yes no problem... The I ordered a chicken nuggets - there supposed to be a free kids meal with every adult meal over £4.5!- surprise- she said she can't doit now because she already charged me for adults meals!- are you joking? We were just talking about it! But she didn't know what to do with it- I said OK let's leave it , I will pay. On the menu states that with kids meals there is a fruit and a drink for free- she said I am not allowed that because its only allowed if you get a kids meal for free with an adult meal!! I was boiling at the time but... I showed her the menu and said that in the menu says - fruit and drink with every kids meal- she started to rolling her eyes, told me that's she doesn't care and I am not getting it and I can speak to the manager if I want and walked away...OMG:) MORRISONS it was the worst experience ever... unpleasant staff, zero customer service and horrible attitude. On the positive note food was OK

Nothing wrong with the cafe or the store. However the cafe staff are absolutely useless. All they do is chat with each other and totally ignore customers waiting to be served. One served, then you wait ages for the simplest of meals. Again. Plenty of banter between the staffing what is the main cause of the delays.

As the breakfast at our hotel was quite expensive popped in to this cafe as we know the food is usually good. They had an offer on for a bacon butty plus a drink for £3 each so tried ordering two. Had paid the bill when we noticed one butty was missing. On asking we were given it FOC. 3 rashers of bacon in a nice soft roll was a good start to the morning as we are not normally big eaters.

Truly awful. No coffee available. Place very quiet but took 20 minutes and a chase up before breakfast was brought out by a clearly unhappy member of staff. Egg was broken, bacon was virtually raw and inedible and the pack of butter for the toast was helpfully placed under the fried egg. Won’t be back.

I have no idea how people have managed too write a review when ever I do go there first or second choice not avalible always poorly stocked How xan you run out of food in a food shop 😕

Terrible place, tables with plates trays and cups not cleared, no clean knives spoons or forks. Went once, won't go again.

Went on the Thursday not realising they had a Black Friday over on. Full English half price. Food was good but quite a wait considering it was quiet. 3 out of 4 us got our breakfasts, the 4 had to wait a while as they were having scrambled eggs (who know why that takes 5 minutes longer)

We have had a couple of visits to the cafe in the past week and always found the staff to be very helpful. The bacon roll and mini afternoon tea was very nice, plus there's a nice selection of cakes. You can have a pot of tea but unfortunately no cups and saucers only a "builders" mug! Prices are very reasonable but it is very much a supermarket cafe so don't expect too much in the way of table service etc. However friendly staff and good prices.

After waiting 20 minutes in the queue my pot of tea is now cold .short staffing levels and bad service can't wait for the breakfast to turn up

The quality has definitely gone down hill this year. They regularly run out of basic items such as garden peas and do not warm up food properly such baked beans. The value has also got worse. The Fish and chips used to be really good but the size of the fish are now much smaller. The staff need to be better trained and can be a bit rude. They do not listen to the condiments required by the customer, whey can they not let the customer take what condiments required. I notice the the cafe is a lot quieter than they use to be be and I am not surprised. Morrisons get your act together and do not let the standards you had obtained slip.

Yes, it is a supermarket caff but the staff working here are just lovely and the food (we each had a breakfast) excellent for the low prices asked. Will definitely come again.

We visited on Bridgwater Carnival night and imagine its their busiest night of the year. Yet although they had a limited menu, there was still a nice varied choice, and the kids menu was still available in full (kids eat free after 3pm). There was a very small wait and food delivered with good customer service. 3 meals purchased and 3 happy bellies by end of eating! Well done for being well prepared :-)

Full English breakfast greasy, poor quality and poor value. Definitely will not bother again. A total waste of money.

I have been shopping here at Morrisons and stopped off at their café which was recommended to me by a friend of mine and what nice and friendly staff run it too and a good place to meet up with friends and family. Will definitely visit again as the hood that I bought in the cafe was cooked well and very good and cheap priced.

I think someone may well have underestimated, or not? at 1pm on the day we visited, for a Sunday Lunch, even though the cafe was not full and there was a 30 minute wait for the food you ordered, they had already RUN OUT OF Roast Beef and also the Chicken...Now, if that isnt bad enough - heading into the store...NO Pizzas NO cooked chicken (3 of each left only at 1pm) and a store looking as though it was on the verge of closure???? (Any comments Mr Potts?).....Just to add to this review...WE WENT TO ASDA and given we couldnt buy a Sunday lunch at Morrisons, bought what we needed to take to our holiday let to cook for ourselves....somewhat cheaper than Morrisons and WITH THANKS TO ASDA for providing what we required...handing the competition business in this way CANNOT be a good idea

Reasonable menu of cafe food & at £5 the chicken burger, chips & coleslaw seems a good deal! Unfortunately, the drinks dispenser was out of order, but no real problem there were bottled options.Order taken quickly & offered additional burger (patty) for £1 extra. Picked through the clean but water stained cutlery. Well stocked selection of sauces.The cafe wasn’t busy with customers, however most tables were cluttered with used crockery & rubbish. All the table tops were unclean & most chairs untidily placed. Large tray holder trolleys stacked full with rubbish & used crockery were stood by the entrance to the cafe.Food came out quickly & I was asked if I needed anything else. Food wasn’t hot but was presented well. Burger was well put together with a couple of onion rings on the top. Disappointing that the coleslaw was off, so it was inedible. Luckily, I was nearly finished by the time I tried some, but the bad taste of the off slaw put me off what I had left.Just popped in for something quick & easy - as Morrison’s has lots of free parking. With a little more care the £7.60 I spent could been seen as a real bargain. It would be really easy to get it right; keep the cafe clean & make sure the food hasn’t gone bad!

In the past I would agree with the earlier reviewer. However today popped in for a bacon sandwich. The lady at the till was very professional, full of smiles and polite. The sandwich was very good, hot and tasty. It was in a polystyrene box and good value. Based on previous experience I may not go back for a meal but will return for a bacon sandwich !
