Had to stop to recharge my car so had nowhere else to go as it was pouring. Reluctantly I went to the cafe and ordered a small breakfast and coffee not expecting much. Obviously the ingredients were just supermarkets own and not what I usually buy. However the staff in the kitchen cooked it all to perfection even the toast was cooked properly and did not resemble stale bread as so many establishments serve it. The coffee was pleasant too. Well done to the kitchen staff. Shopped afterwards and the staff on the deli need training and the female looked so miserable a smile would have cracked her face. She should be trained by the lady serving in the cafe.

This could of been a nice breakfast, a 30 minute wait even though it wasn't busy and every item on the full English breakfast was cold. Visited many morrisons for breakfast, just a shame this one is falling short.

Early Sunday morning we decided to have breakfast here. Having done so for several years when we visited Cromer. Disappointed to see how dirty the cafe area is. Unclean tables and chairs and a floor that looks as if it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Cutlery all needs a thorough clean to. Meals are ok but you get far less than you used too, I guess this is cost of living.

Morrison's cafe used to be cheap and cheerful. All I can add to that is it's still cheap! The ingredients have noticeably reduced in quality. The cooking of those ingredients is rarely very good or even remotely acceptable. The staff seem to be too few, too unskilled, and too unmotivated. This is a management issue and displays weak leadership and inadequate quality control and training processes. Get a grip. This was a dreadful experience.

Cottage pie bubbling at sides frozen on top ! Knifes and folks dirty, not the first of a similar experience. Lemon cheese cake was lovely but plate looked suspect. Used to be a lovely place to eat some years ago. So disappointed with store.

My wife and I had an early Christmas treat today…a starter,turkey roast and Christmas pudding. Martin,Lily and Kerry served up a fantastic meal…the portions were large,the service was quick and the food was delicious. Many thanks to you all…I also spoke with the store manager and passed on our appreciation of the staff in the cafe.

Absolutely disgusted. This used to be a lovely place to eat. Quality of food is still good but the service is terrible, having to use self serve points, how are elderly shoppers supposed to order food or drinks, it was bad for me who is fairly up with the times getting the order wrong but for those with no clue its awful! Problem is lack of humans to help, good ole Mr Morrison keeping his wages cost down by employing machines, maybe he would do better looking at how to employ more staff! Oh guess that would mean less profit for him though hey!

No fish or vegetarian options available and not many options for non vegetarians we're available either

This is the worst cafe I have ever been in, arrogant staff and other customers, the language is appalling

This café needs a hygiene check. 9.15am on a Saturday 21st October. Floor was filthy crumbs pieces of food etc lying there needing to be swept and probably the floor needed to be washed. Tables very half heartedly wiped still residue of food etc on them. One person seemed to be doing everything. The small breakfast was absolutely appalling, Cold half slice of bacon, cold sausage cold poached egg, lukewarm beans and cold half tomato with cold toast. my husband and I had 2 teas as well and the total bill was £12 a complete rip off. The café is unclean so what are the kitchens like. DO NOT EAT HERE.

The manager of the cafe needs to be retrained on Hygiene the trays are always wet and not washed properly, coffee machine is always breaking down Mugs are far to hot to hold always running out of cutlery never again would I visit it, I staff do there best but they need more, I gave it one as you cant leave zero. The buck stops with the manager.

Long wait. No clean forks. Came out after our meal was served. Used to come here a lot and today was a one off. But never again. The restaurant has gone right down. Need more staff to cope.

The tea wasn't good,the hot water was scummy although you can get a refill,I went to the café first before doing some shopping which is good especially for the savers range.

We had lunch there on the 8th June, it was not very busy. I wanted a tuna jacket potato, no tuna, completely unbelievable in a supermarket, the lady in front wanted chicken, also unbelievable. I was offered cheese which I accepted as we did not want to waste time. The table had not been wiped when the last occupants left and it was sticky. I even saw others cleaning their table before they sat down! Not a very happy experience.

This cafe needs a complete overhaul, trays chipped are always wet coffee machines are always breaking down tables not cleared or cleaned regularly customers waiting to order because the staff are busy cooking This is not staff’s fault, it needs whoever is responsible for overseeing the cafe needs to go to retrained it is so messy and in unhygienic I suggest the store manager takes a look, I only have a coffee I would never eat there if it was free, the whole store is going downhill.

Just terrible food. The pie was awful the chips and peas were cold. We said we would never eat there again. This time we mean it. No chefs just microwave technicians.

When reporting a water leak it was dismissed by the employee Martin and his attitude lacked any empathy. It felt like he was merely dismissing it with a “I can’t do anything about it”. Even when told there should at least be wet floor signs on show or that Morrisons would be liable if someone slipped - still no action.

went for Sunday lunch while biding time waiting for the fireworks. It was awful ,the knives and forks still had the remnants a previous meal left on them, had to clean them with the hot water machine which is used for making tea,the meal came , one sunday roast was cold and not edable, the scampy and chips , scampy cold and hard chips. cold.. so wish i had asked for our money back. the two men who were serving, and probably cooking looked so miserable, as if they had lost a penny and found a pound, Morrisons cafe really gone down hill. will deffo not be going again.

We decided to visit for an all day breakfast. There were several young lads running the cafe..all round the back..there were only 8 people in the cafe but we waited 2o mins for breakfast while people were queuing in the hope one of them would come out and serve someone. It finally arrived but was cold. And then no one about to tell. Shame on you all for your lack of interest. Now we know why..at midday there were only 8 customers.

Having arrived in Cromer after a long drive, and needing supplies, we were delighted to see a Morrisons. The cafe in our home city is spotless and great value, so we decided to eat there. A fellow customer walking away advised us not to use the coffee machine as it tasted 'chemically'. We waited at the service till for several minutes, eventually my partner going into the kitchen to call someone. The fellow who finally appeared muttered that he was on his own, but took our order - first checking that there was cheese for the burger - and as there was no uncleared table, cleared one for ourselves. There was no cutlery available apart from two forks, so we took those and waited. A glass of Sprite turned out to be just soda water, but we were told just to choose something else. The food arrived after about 15 minutes, during which time we had watched the staff member wander off into the store and return with cheese -presumably for the burger. We asked for knives and the chap appeared with two and tossed them onto the table. Another group of 4 people had ordered food, and when that arrived - delivered by a second staff member who appeared from the kitchen - they had no cutlery at all. It was fully 10 minutes before a large amount of cutlery appeared, and was just dumped into the unit - no apologies for the cold food. Several sets of customers hung around the service area and then just gave up. Obviously, Staff shortages were a problem, but the attitude of these two was horrific. Having negotiated a blood-splattered gents loo on the way out, we decided to give the place a wide berth in future visits

the other day mum and dad, and I decided to get a drink in this cafe, the cafe was lovely but some people in the store were arrogant, mum has an electric scooter, and a man would not move when he was asked

It was all okay we ordered a big breakfast, a bacon roll and a tea cake it all came together. There were Covid measures in place that larger family groups were breaching. My only other observation is that the staff never look especially happy?

Terrible place with a very surley manager T Wilkens. I know there is an emergency on at the moment and things are limited but following cancer treatment I am unable to eat solid food but I need over a litre of tomato juice every day...

The lady on the till was excellent, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Was on my own so nice to see a row of small tables appropriate for the lone diner in addition to the twos and fours. Food unsurprising but perfectly fine. Very nice experience.

Morrison's cat food is ok we went there twice the first time was very nice on the second occasion it wasn't at all nice so the cafe I've give 2 out of 10 second time and the first time 8 out of 10 but the...

We have been stopping at Morrisons to get a late lunch and are really surprised at the quality of their food and service which really does puts a lot of more expensive places to shame.

What surprised us with Morrisons cafeteria that food was very good and the staff were really good as well l I would recommend Morrisons cafe good seating position pleasant staff what else do you need

Been complaining for 12 months about this filthy place to 3 different so called managers and the reply has always been the same, we know we have problems but we are working on it. How long does it take to get a cafe clean and get decent staff, the guy who is normaly on the till is disgusting and should not be in employment in a customer based service position.Nasty and ignorant.He is as dirty as the tea pots and cutlary and cups and as slow as the rubbish food. I have never had to complain about any other Morissons but this PIT is beyond belief. Should be CLOSED DOWN!!!

if you have a large family that's ok but a poor widow pays for your discount. staff were helpful, not them who makes the price list.

Went in today to get some lunch but was told by the rude bloke serving they dont start serving this till 11.30 which is not stated on the menu anywhere so was left feeling hungry. Also the person serving was also rude to 2 other customers in front of us. Will not be using this place to eat again.

Stayed in Cromer and stopped here for an afternoon breakfast It was everything you could want but sadly it was cold So I ate the Bacon because it would be silly not to And I left the rest

Been here a number of times and always under staffed and slow but my last visit was a joke. I had to leave and won't be back. Carnival week so you would think the idiots would expect to be busy and have appropriate staff on. We usually have to wait half an hour here but this visit took the biscuit. Someone from the kitchen popped his head around the corner and announced to the queue that there would be at least an hour wait, he had 50 outstanding orders and there were only two of them. Morrisons get your act together and while you are at it get that fly infested coffee machine cleaned up or I will notify the council.

Food is the normal café menu. They do have a lovely Vegan Lasagne (when its available). Sadly sometimes there are a few things that are sold out by late afternoon. Prices are very reasonable. Service is often slow at busy times of day but food is usually up to the standard that we keeps us going back! I find the staff a bit overworked. I feel a bit sorry for them as they do a good job.

We ate in the Morrison's cafe whilst on holiday. The fish and chips were excellent and judging by the number of plates going out a lot of people agreed with us. A very good fish and chip supper half the price the local chipperies were charging. On our second visit we had sausage, mash and peas which was equally as good. If you want a good meal at a reasonable price.......give Morrison, Cromer a whirl.

Honestly need new staff. Some Staff are ridiculously snappy and so unhappy to help. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Whenever I have needed to ask a question they seem irritated or speak patronislingly when giving an answer. On nearly all the occasions I've been in I've encountered a miserable member of staff. Saying that, there are some nice staff and it's a shame theres others that let's this morrisons down. Sort it out.

Good food at reasonable prices.staff work very hard and are very friendly.nothing is too much trouble.

Cafe and store were quiet but service very slow. Grubby utensils, average food - dried up salad and tasteless toasted sandwich. UHT milk was the final straw - won't be eating or drinking there again, but agree good value for average food.

This is a smaller restaurant than the Fakenham one, but still managed to get a table easily. Food nicer and portions slightly more generous than in Fakenham.

Being a regular shopper at Morrison’s and having reviewed this restaurant before it is sad for me to have to give it a bad review but standards here have dropped over recent months while prices have gone up. We popped in for a bowl of soup and a drink on Monday 3rd Dec before shopping. At the cashier We asked what soup it was and were told tomato I fancied a Diet Coke only to find after at least a month that pump was still out of order. Although the whole shop and restaurant were not busy we were told there was a twenty minute wait for food. This now appears to be the norm whenever you go and is not really acceptable when parking time for shopping and eating is camera controlled and limited to two hours overall. They do say the time can be extended but the last time I tried to do this the customer service desk was not manned and I could not find anyone who was interested in logging my number to extend the parking time so rather tha risk a parking fine we rushed the shopping to be off site within the two hours as recorded by the camera when we left. Our soup arrived with slices of basic supermarket sliced bread not as discribed bloomer. The soup was tomato colour with bits of green in it but it was bitter barely warm and small amount. If a chef had made it his time would have been better spent opening a tin of Heinz’s tomato off the supermarket shelf. I added two packets of sugar intended for coffee but the taste was barely improved. I finished my diet lemonade that was in a plastic cup intended for the slush machine as no cups for drinks either large or small were available. I also in reading the menu noticed my favourite meal lasagne had been increased in price since my last visit and the brioche bun previously served with the burger has been down graded to a white roll. Overall a very disappointing experience and a thumbs down for Morrison’s at Cromer.

Was popping in for breakfast and there were 2 ladies giving out information about local food bank

The man on the till was helpful and polite, but overall the experience was not pleasant. Dirty mugs, spoons, teapots and tables. Green lampshades thick with dust and rubbish all over the floor. Will not be visiting again.

My friends and I were feeling slightly hungover and all we wanted was a breakfast. We went into morrison’s cafe and the menu only has one full vegetarian option as a breakfast which is okay. When I went to the till and asked for the quorn sausages that are clearly written on the breakfast menu I was told they had none and “you’re a vegetarian just eat beans.” Not only that, the table service was poor, our drinks had dirt in them due to the drinks nozzles not being cleaned and they had run out of napkins.

The cafe each time we have been has been bad service. The people working there always look miserable so it doesn't look a welcoming place.

Morrisons cafe is good value 2 coffees 2 pastries £5. Also meals good value and 2 hrs free parking who needs COSTA rip off in cromer. Well done morrisons.

Drove 35 minutes to get there, waited another 30 minutes for the meal, had two bights, the fire alarm sounded and we were escorted out. Unhelpful staff and customer services were not very interested. Very poor do

Went for breakfast. We were advised of a 10 minute wait. The meal came slightly later than that but no complaint from us.

Had to wait 45 minutes for food with friends but the wait was completely understandable in the midst of summer in a tourist town. Staff don’t stop running around the cafe and it’s beyond me why they aren’t given more help from people higher up in the management during summer. Food was cheap and cheerful

Choose to have a lunch before catching the train home as Morrisons is right by the train station. It took 45 minutes wait for meal to come but we asked for a take away trays to take what we hadn't managed to eat as our train was due. Food was good, thankful for the trays.

A large, well-stocked store with great parking facilities and within walking distance of the city centre.

We had had many meals at the Morrisons near us so when in Cromer decided to try there. The food was just as good as we were used to and will not hesitate to go back when next in the area

Went here today with my mum for a bit of food I have never had a bad experience , but today will make me not want to go back to eat. I had the "eggs Benedict" in my opinion it was no more than a plate of grease!!!

As always Morrisons fish is always so fresh and tasty. Having seen it landed in Kinlochbervie in Scotland a few years ago we know where it comes from and thoroughly recommend it.

Lunchtime visit and it was all disgusting, arrived to find tables not very clean, only 2 knives 3 forks no spoons for cutlery and these were grubby, asked for some more cutlery, no napkins only kitchen roll not hygienic with everyone having to handle it. Ordered 2 course special and the first course and main course came together, 2 of the garlic mushrooms could not be eaten as the mushrooms were to chewy, scampi some cooked some the fish was cold, chips cold. Husbands dinner was not better, sausage egg and chips all just warm apart from the sausages they were hot. I complained and explained as a diabetic I had injected my insulin so would need replacement food straight away, couldn't wait the 40 minutes we had waited for our meal. I was brought hot chips but not a nice taste I was told I would have to wait for the scampi and peas, was offered a free drink. A dreadful experience. We eat in Morrisons at Gorleston where we live and the staff and food are far better than Cromer.

A look outside on a cold but bright Saturday encouraged us to pick up the shopping list and head for Morrison’s at Cromer. It was just past twelve and as we hurried from the car to the trolley park, pangs of hunger struck, we passed the trolleys and headed straight for the restaurant. The separate food order point was manned and with only a one person wait we quickly scanned the menu and choose. My wife selected salmon in hollandaise sauce with peas and new potatoes I plumped for beef lasagne with salad with a latte and Diet Coke a bargain at less than £15. We collected our cutlery sauces and hot drink and sat at an inside row table for two. The restaurant here has been revamped it’s now bright not cramped and the fixed seating has been replaced with loose chairs a big improvement. We had barely sat down and taken a sip of our drinks when our food arrived, hot, exactly as ordered and well presented. A very generous oval dish of lasagne about an inch thick and covered in cheese for me with a separate bowl of crisp fresh mixed salad. My wife’s piece of salmon was again a generous portion, of late the price of fresh salmon has increased ridiculously so I was surprised at the size of portion. With a good helping of sauce and peas and around a dozen small new potatoes we were both very pleased with the look of our meals and the taste did not disappoint an excellent start to our shopping. As parking time is limited here at Cromer a notice on the table invited us to extend this which we did at customer services with no problem. We then shopped for the 55 items our receipt says we purchased and were still through the till before two o clock inside the original two hours parking, overall an excellent meal and shopping experience.

Called in for some shopping and as it was lunch time we both had an all day breakfast. Very good portion, could not finish it all.

I guess morrisons is good for families on the cheap. as the food is not high restaurant standard but for a coffee its ok.

The "famous" fish and chips I've enjoyed before were certainly not on the menu on Thursday. Instead, despite being warned I'd have to wait 15 minutes for it to be cooked, the nicely cooked but, smaller than I recall, piece of cod was accompanied by awful re-hashed cold limp chips from earlier in the day, and a portion of tepid mushy peas on a cold plate. Such a disappointment. Was this poor staff attitude or lax management? Why deep fry the cod without adding some fresh chips and ensuring the peas were hot? After all, their adjoining retail shop sells frozen chips by the bucket load! I will cook my own at home in future.

We like going to Morrisons because as well as having a very good selection of food for sale, they have a nice restaurant which a comprehensive menu which should suit all tastes & this food is very reasonably priced.

We came here twice while camping! I'd gone because I remembers going when I was little while camping too! It was convenient and food was nice but some of the staff and all the cutlery was dirty!!

Lovely supermarket with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice cafe with good food portions. Reasonable wine selection could do better on wine deals.

El restaurante me faltaba en polaco, incluso para un supermercado. Las tazas estaban limpias pero mal apiladas y el personal no excesivamente servicial adecuada es el mejor a corto plazo. Entendiendo que este no es un lugar que tiene un encanto que aún debe ser amable y servicial y la comida podría ser mejor servido. Carecía de atractivo.

Please don't waste your money ! The lady at the till did say there was a 30 minute wait for food but 50 minutes later we were still waiting when it did eventually come it was cold and the breakfasts were missing items when I complained she bought out the items missing on a side plate the coffee machine gives you half a cup of coffee this was also warm not hot and when I asked why the man behind the till said just fill it up using the hot water machine not really any good for my we defiantly will never eat there again.

Popped in for some food shopping. Having coffee in the cafe. Struggled to find a cup that was clean. Nice coffee though.

Hemos comido en este café de morrisons muchas veces, la mayoría de las comidas, satisfactoria. Pero en nuestra última visita tuve salmón con espinacas y espárragos. Era muy sabrosa y estaba disfrutando, hasta levantar mi mosca encontramos la mayor espinacas carne. Era bastante húmedo, así que había estado allí probablemente en las espinacas un rato. Me lo tomé de atrás, vino el gerente, me preguntó si tenía voló en el plato. Me hizo sentir que había hecho lo de estar bajo mi espinacas. Me dio un reembolso dejando un poco de hambre. Comería aquí probablemente si su más cuidadosa con su preparación.

Tenía al pop en este supermercado y tanto mi compañero y yo estábamos hambrientos, decidimos probar el desayuno. Aunque no fue el nivel de algunos de los cafés en Norwich y Holt, por un precio combinado de poco más de £11 para un gran desayuno, un poco de desayuno (que era abundante), té y café que tenía muy buena relación calidad-precio. Todas las cosas fueron bien preparado, aparte de que era el tocino underdone, pero me hubiera encantado comer un desayuno allí.

A menudo hemos llamado aquí para visitar a Cromer. El aparcamiento es muy concurrida, pero siempre encontramos un lugar. La comida que hemos tenido es muy buena, es normalmente el pescado y patatas fritas.

Ir a una forma alargada, así apareció en viaje desde un desayuno tardío. Me dieron la opción vegetariana y mi marido la carnivor, s! Las comidas eran tibio, no muy agradable. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habría enviado de vuelta. Cenamos allí han tenido en el pasado y que era excelente. Quizás nos ataca un mal día.

Decidimos en algunas comida aquí en vez de un bocadillo en la costa o Starbucks, muy decepcionado. Salmón y pepino sandwich todos fragmentado en la caja y la patatas fritas no había sido en una bolsa, así eran principalmente empapadas. El pollo y el tocino era bastante seco y corteza habían dejado en el tocino, los bocadillos tenía un sabor muy poco. Taza/taza de té estaba bien, pero que sin duda no volveremos.

A menudo pop aquí un desayuno antes de salir de compras. Cada vez que mi marido dice que no quiere setas y un extra de los huevos. Hoy fuimos allí y mi marido pidió 2 grandes desayunos, volvió y dijo que sólo el recibo uno tenía ben ordenados, aunque él siempre los pedidos 2. Y una tostada a pesar de pedir 2 parcelas. Cada vez la orden es malo ha habido un hombre en la salida tomar las órdenes, incluso la gente detrás de nosotros hoy tenía un orden equivocado ya que el chaval tener oído pedir disculpas a ellos. Morrisons por favor que alguien en la ampliación de los pedidos, alguien que pueda escuchar y conseguir las órdenes correctas. Mi marido tuvo su desayuno y me dieron la mía 10 minutos después. No es un buen servicio al cliente.

Excellent prices with excellent service in a nice clean restaurant. The beauty of Morrisons is that you can pick & mix what meal you want, tailored to your exact requirements. Staff very friendly & helpful, well done Morrison's.

I was very happy with the service .The staff were so friendly,it was more like a family run cafe,nothing was too much trouble.It was very busy but this didn't seem to bother the staff,they were so nice,wish other morrisons cafe's were like this.I will be going there again,next time I'm in Cromer.

We were delighted to find this supermarket here. We often stopped at the end of the day to get something for tea. We were staying in a local campsite. We also ate here which was very reasonable.

Everytime I go here, its always the same.no cups.coffee machine out of milk or no teapots out.There is always something wrong.This time it was a combination of rude staff and both coffee machines not working.Well this time I was so fed up, I complained to head office.they investigated and sent me a gift voucher by way of apology. Which I will be using at a different morrisons.

Having just arrived in Cromer for a few days, a Morrisons on the road into Cromer was a welcome sight. After getting our provisions we decided to take advantage of the on-site cafe. Lovely all day breakfast and great value for money.

Solía vivir en Cromer entre 2012 y 2014. Este fue mi supermercado local a través de la selección pero no por necesidad. Sólo iría aquí si necesitaba productos que no estaba congelado desde que iría a Islandia para eso. En el verano, el aparcamiento está casi siempre lleno, el edificio es bastante sucia y no tenía una mano de pintura" o un ascenso por un tiempo muy largo y sin duda espectáculos. This appears to be the only modern supermarket attached to Cromer. Whilst it is next door to the town's railway station, with a large car park, it is a fair walk from the town centre. I recollect that there is a café.
