Morrisons in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We visited again the following week. This time we had fish and chips. The service was friendly and helpful. The food arrived hot, plentiful and delicious. Thank you for your good service.

Cheap and nasty burnt toast burnt sausages understaffed expensive staff running around like headless chicken's selection not great big queues and wait time 45 minutes.

I went in Liskeard Morrisson's car wash, I used the service which wasn't user friendly. The day after, I noticed extra charges which I didn't recognise on my bank card. I contacted Morrisson customer service to help sort out this issue, but they don't seem to be interested at all, therefore I won't be using their services anymore and I felt the urge to worn others.

Excellent food as usual, Polite staff. Good service. Great value. A very good meal once again ! Where else can you get a huge main course, pudding and a coffee for £8.95 ! Children can eat free and you can even get an adult meal free if you are struggling to make ends meet.

Had toast with avocado today. In came two white pieces of toast( not sourdough or nice crusty bread) bread with a scraping of avocado that was not ripe! This is the worst avocado toast ive ever had. Bland unripe tasteless. Utterly disappointed. On to of it all it took 20 mins for them to make this. Ridiculous.

My friend and I visited the cafe yesterday mid-afternoon for a couple of late breakfasts. I had the small breakfast and he had the regular size. We were visiting in memory of my late grandad who used to frequent the cafe often, it was the anniversary of his death. On approaching the counter, a female member of staff was cleaning the coffee machine. She didn't say a word to us despite us standing right next to her, no greeting or 'Do you want to use the machine?'. She closed the machine and walked off rudely without a word or glance at us. We had already dispensed a soft drink and a pot of tea, and on walking to the cash register, another lady came out to take our order. Again, she didn't say a word to us, no eye contact even. She just started typing in our drinks into the register and we waited, almost in disbelief at the attitude, to see if she'd take our food order. She told us the price of the drinks before asking if 'that's all?' We said, 'Could we please get two breakfasts, one small, one regular, with fried bread on the small one instead of toast?'. This was instantly too much trouble, she looked absolutely affronted as if we'd just insulted her in some way. 'We're not allowed to do that,' she said coldly. My friend and I looked at each other, at this point feeling very unwelcome and I felt quite upset, especially given the circumstances surrounding our visit. I couldn't help but ask him (in front of her) if he wanted to go somewhere else instead. Suddenly she changed her tune and reluctantly said she 'supposed' she could do the fried bread. Against my better judgement I decided to just go with it and paid for the food. Interestingly the cafe itself was nearly empty, despite me remembering it as a bustling place a few years ago. When the food came, the fried bread was on the wrong plate, no big deal but considering the experience with the staff it just felt like the icing on the cake. Food was okay, nothing special, probably a bit overpriced for what it was. All in all, I feel this cafe really has gone downhill since the last visit. It used to be one of my favourite Morrisons cafes. Now, the service is absolutely appalling and it's clear these particular staff members don't like their job. I can't believe they could make an already sad day even more upsetting for my friend and I. Probably won't be returning until they learn some customer service skills.

The store itself has quite a good selection of stock & always found the staff helpful , but twice recently we have used the Cafe & had some bizarre attitudes from staff serving meals. Tables filthy so had to clean them before sitting down . Both occasions the orders have been served back to front with missing items added to another's meal . More worryingly , the staff just dismissed the issue with disregard for hygiene ( during a global pandemic ?!) & "oh your eggs were added to that plate so just take them " Why the hell would anyone take food from someone else's meal & enjoy eating the food that they had already began eating ?! Particularly when it wasn't even a relative , just gross & it was the staffs mistake so since I'd already paid for a full meal I expect to receive it complete not scrounge from nearby customers food !!!

We were spoken to disgustingly by this woman as we stood waiting in the queue she spoke to us very angrily ,we asked her to not talk that way to us she then grabbed a older ladies shopping trolley behind us who was queuing and pushed it towards us in anger hitting me with the trolley against my body witnessed by the elderly lady and my boyfriend .The manager was called immediately but refused to ask the woman for a apology????She clearly should not be working there in Morrisons with her bad aggressive behaviour

Please note I am only talking about the butchers section .They all need lessons in customer service. Not one of them smiles or is welcoming but always unhelpful. Someone from any of the other sections or check out should explain to these miserable people that they are in in a customer focussed business .

Just love Morrisons for holiday supplies when we visit Liskeard ! Always a bit more expensive than maybe the other budget supermarkets in the area, but you gets what you pays for !!! Good place for petrol too...

Large Car Park, Good range of food and fruit and vegetable. All nicely spaced out fixtures. Good selection of Wines & Spirits. Helpful staff. Nice also to find a petrol station that has fully operational machines for car drivers. There is a air machine, also a really good vacuum cleanser also the car washing facility. Really impressed.

Asked for poached eggs but informed didn't have any. Strange because they had fried or scrambled! Ended up with scrambled egg which was the worst I have ever had. No flavour & like rubber. Brought with dry toast & a server when asked for butter made it clear we were being a nuisance. 2 tiny butter packs for 4 slices. Practically empty but waited 25 minutes & was awful.

Visit Morrisons Liskeard several times a year on our visit to Cornwall. Never disappointed in the atmosphere service

Morrisons have revamped menu. Lots of items now not available and what are, have seen substantial price increases. Ordered an extra portion of chips two days ago. Girl assistant apologised after questioning the 50% price hike. 50%!!! One way to lose customers.

I visited Morrisons yesterday and was appalled at the trolley hygiene, they had a member of staff collecting the trolleys and bringing them back to the door for customers to collect a trolley that is already 2 people handling it before you get it, then you have to take the trolley to the hygiene station which is not right by the trolleys, I asked the guy collecting them why he wasn't wearing a mask to be told he wasn't issued with one, I spoke to 2 assistant managers who assured me something would be done I returned today to find everything the same. Surely it makes sense not just for Morrisons but for every supermarket to have a designated member of staff looking after the trolleys and sanitising the handles after every use. I am also putting this on my social media as I feel very strongly about this especially during these times

We were staying at a rather expensive hotel and decided especially for breakfast would try Morrisons and have to say what a find. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was great and more importantly inexpensive so we visited there for breakfast for the duration of our week long stay. Not to mention that we visited the bakery as was particularly taken with the finest muffins that they make.

the store is always well stocked but lately our shopping experiences (regular) have been hampered badly by the mobile obstacles you call online order pickers,what a bloody pain, why can't they do it at night when there aren't any proper customers all they do is get in the way and make no apology for it, sort it out please Morrisons.

This company can supply an excellent range and quality of foods for the discerning customer. the output service is quick.

Ideal for coffee and cake, meals are ok but the selection of sandwiches is better in the actual shop.

Personally I have no problems with Liskeard Morrisons. The food is good. You get a huge plate full for a good price. They do a nice curry. Shephards pie is nice as well and so is the lasagna. Not tried their breakfast yet. Worth a visit. This is a restaurant not a cafe. The staff have always been pleasant towards me. The now do free refill coffee and tea which is great!

We went to Morrisons Cafe on our way back to Birmingham after spending the 3 days of Christmas with family.We have had breakfast here before and were very pleased with the food and service ~ BUT this time having ordered a big breakfast were informed that they had no sausages and we would have extra bacon. It took ages for our meal to arrive ad it was not as listed on the menu ~ 2 eggs became 1, sausages were missing and not replaced by bacon as we had 2 rashers each[as per menu] toast was missing and replaced by 1/2 slice of greasy fried bread.We were sadly disappointed and will probably find somewhere else to eat next time we visit family.

First time here. The cafe is very light and airy. Good selection on the menu, good prices, we had a meal deal 2 course lunch, very good service, good quality, very tasty and plentiful. Well worth a visit.

We were staying in Looe and needed food shopping so opted to come here to have dinner before the food shopping.There was lots of choice, we used the self service and got a really good deal (5 meals, 2 of which were free kids meals, 5 drinks and 2 kids desserts £24). We didn't wait long for the food, my Mac and cheese with garlic bread and salad was lovely - yes it was out of the packet but nevertheless it was nice.Kids had chicken nuggets, chips and beans and they enjoyed it.The young lad was helpful and couldn't fault his customer service.The shop is huge and we found everything we needed.

late nights are very usful and athe staff very friendly , alwys fresh and plentiful , car park can be full

Visited for breakfast on the 21/09/2019 after a four hour drive, ordered at the counter. Now I have no complaints on the food as it was nice it was the service. I was not greeted as a hello or goodbye, I ordered kids breakfast and a veggie breakfast bap. I found the server who was a woman very abrupt, with an attitude, couldn’t be bothered. I was not sure of her name as she didn’t hang around long when delivering food but she had a tattoo on her hand. When the food came out it was just plonked on table, not a thankyou, have a good day. Customer service skills were shocking. Now I work in the same business just a different shop and if gave out that attitude I would be sacked on the spot!!

Popped in for some flowers. Less choice than I am used to at Morrison’s but still a good quality and value for money

This café has really gone downhill in the two years we have been visiting. This week we have had two breakfasts, one big breakfast which was OK but also a sausage sandwich which was left under the heat lamp while waiting for the big breakfast to be assembled. The soft white bread ended up as anaemic toast. Two big breakfasts again yesterday which were OK but the sausages were 'murdered'. The coffee was almost cold and when I complained was told I could use the microwave to re-heat it !!!! They said the machine wouldn't make it any hotter.On Tuesday we popped in for a late lunch/early tea of steak and kidney pie, chips and peas. Considering this is a huge supermarket chain with access to the best of foods the meal was dire. The pie must have been the cheapest they could source, chips (ok) and what appeared to be tinned garden peas. Absolutely dire.Two young mothers with toddlers sat a few tables away from us and their table manners and that of their children was appalling, when we left the floor was literally thick with food they had thrown down. So dangerous for anyone failing to notice the mess and slipping on the food. Staff could have swept it up.After our experience of breakfast earlier in the week we started to go to Wetherspoons in town, now they know how to cook a breakfast and make HOT coffee.Unfortunately due to lack of time we had breakfast there again yesterday, although it wasn't too bad it certainly falls short of Wetherspoons quality. The wait for food was a long one.Sadly although this café is so convenient when we stay at Premier Inn around the corner we will not use it again but make the effort to go into town for a good breakfast and hot coffee.

Great food and service fish and chips were massive! They tasted fab!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cafe was comfortable and quiet - also great for kids to eat free ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shocking food there at times, and very long waits, prices have increased three fold in last five years and the service and quality of food , still the same, for these prices food should be cooked fresh, not packet microwave nonsense. Expensive for a family for what it is.

I often meet here for a coffee with friends. Usually a cake, but tried the bacon bap this time. After another slow ordering experience, well at least the self service coffee machines were working this time, the baps arrived. Anemic, very fatty bacon in a bap, obviously the bacon having been microwaved, so fat was white and soggy. I wish I had got my camera out as it looked so unappealing. Both me and my friend instantly cut off the fat which didn't leave a lot of bacon left. They have a griddle for fried eggs, so why not brown/crisp up the bacon for a few seconds on the griddle. Cooking bacon this way gives it no flavour! This is very lazy cooking.

Tried their Christmas dinner because it used to be ok for the money, not any more, that will stick in my throat for ever, will never try that again even if it was 50p ago,every thing was artificial, spuds, mash& the sprouts they weren't even cooked, dipped in hot water, i like bit of bite, but now know i don't like them raw, pigs in blankets, thought the bacon should be wrapped around the sausage but not these, losely wrapped around not cooked, should of took it back, but waited that long & thinking about it, just ate it, very hungry. Did e-mail & complain, their response was very sorry, & going to pop some points on my reward card, still waiting.

Supermarket cafe so didn't expect to be blown away, and not surprised when I wasn't. Average Fayre for supermarket cafe, slow service , long wait

Typical Morrisons they are all more or less the same. This one seemed to be having problems with the coffee machine on our visit. For some reason they do not do ordinary filter coffee which most people will drink and look at you askance if you ask for it.

Had lunch after shopping, good menu choice excellent friendly staff. Food arrived promptly and was very tasty.

had a delicious christmas lunch ,the staff very friendly & helpful ,the lunch was served hot and very quick , the only down side was it was not very warm sitting in the restaurant but as its a supermarket & was busy i suppose its to be expcted but overall we enjoyed it

Travelling thru we spotted this for refuling and decided to pop in to ger a sandwich from the supermarket as opposed to the mini outlet at the petrol pump.

So disappointed when shopping at Morrison’s. If you go late in the day the shelves are bare. Even basics are not available. I was told to come back the next day, really! Plenty of cashiers not so much stock this store must be missing so many sales. Very disappointing shopping experience.

Hollow, cold chips, that had been left sitting for what must have been an age, complimented by a long time ago rubberised fried egg. The sausages and beans were ok. Nothing to say on the staff, other than they were just ok - although they were happy to serve food like that so perhaps I'm being generous.

Great tidy store.well stocked local produce.we always look for Morrison's when away from home. Nuce one guys

Een prachtige supermarkt met een zeer ruim assortiment. Er is ook een restaurant aanwezig waar je tegen zeer schappelijke prijzen kunt eten. Het ontbijt dat we hier namen was uitstekend. Het personeel is er vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom: Morrisons is zeker de moeite waard!

Quick cheap eats breakfasts..nice coffee. Outside seating area for good weather. Efficient cheerful staff.

Ultra breakfast for the hungry person. Lovely omelettes. Great staff who even took time to ask if all ok with the breakfast. I think it is a well worth the money compared to other places. Cafe opens at 8am weekday so don't hesitate to eat here if in the area or like us staying at the Premier Inn Round the corner.

Good parking facilities. Good choice of products, in particular gluten free and vegetarian options. I liked the market style presentation had a French supermarket feel. Never used a Morrisons before but will search my area for one now.

Very friendly staff, stock everything you need. Does get very packed at peek times morning/evening, if you want jam doughnuts shop early as we were advised the locals buy them all up on their way to work.

I chose the chicken tikka with rice, to be honest the chicken with tough and the curry was over microwaved.

The coke was flat, opened my sandwich and half the bread was so dry and gone hard. Ordered a child’s sausage and Yorkshire pudding with mash but had no gravy, the woman who brought said you should have asked for gravy and my daughters carrot and coriander soup with croutons was inedible they definitely weren’t croutons but bits of bread cut up. I wanted to complain but my daughter said you can’t as it’s embarrassing that everything is so bad so we cut our losses and left the lot. Oh the bottle of water was ok though.

We had 2 visits to this Morrisons and each time the food was very good considering the price we paid. The staff were very helpful .

We have been here on a number of occasions while holidaying in Cornwall. This holiday so far we have visited twice for breakfast (a little and a meat free breakfast). Both times it has been really quickly served and delicious. Really well cooked, hot and as usual very friendly and prompt service. Latte and hot choc lovely too. Cannot fault what they’re doing there at all!

Ordered two eggs on toast. One egg on the toast the other thrown onto the plate. One cooked the other well over cooked. One rasher of rolled up bacon measuring less than 3 inches. Pathetic.

Visited this local Morrisons branch while on holiday in Looe, as far as Morrisons and other supermarkets go it stocked all you needed of essentials for 7 nights away from home...

Lovely clean store. Friendly staff. Lots of stock. Always visit this store when on holiday as the staff are so friendly and there is always plenty of stock. Great store!

All Morrisons have the same menu but seem to do it better than others, not bad at Liskeard but Plymouth is better and Bodmin is worst.

had a wonderful meal in the café , ordered & served quick ,ordered 6 meals & guy said waiting time was 20/30 mins but had meals in about 15 mins I think was very good because was busy the guy on till was very polite & made ordering very easy . I had big breakfast was delicious big plateful & hot will be back again , as from the photo I had peas as an extra . all the 6 meals we had were excellent value for the price

As always, plenty of parking. And nearly everything I needed was on the shelves. If it's not the staff are approachable and do their best to help..

This cafe is always good it is what it says on the tin. Can’t fault it the breakfast are nice and they are very cheap compared to some places

My son, partner and I popped in to the cafe after my son's swimming lesson for some lunch on a Saturday around 1pm. We ordered 2 small breakfasts and a kids pizza. We weren't told of a waiting time when we ordered. After sitting at our table for 35 minutes, and watching the family of 4 who had ordered after us receive their meals before us, I asked to speak to a staff member. The particular member of staff clearly did not want to be speaking with me, did not apologise and told me the family had received their meals first because the food is not cooked to order but simply "comes out when it's ready". However we had one less meal than them and the other dishes we had ordered were almost identical to theirs so I'm still unsure of why their food was ready before ours. When my partner began speaking, the staff member interrupted saying (in a very un-sorry way) all I can say is sorry, you can see how busy we are and I'm going as fast as I can. They were not busy at all and over half the seats were empty. When after 40 minutes our food came, there was no apology. The food was not good enough, and although the man who had poorly dealt with us walked past us a few times as we ate, he made no attempt to see if everything was ok with our food. When he walked past again I said 'the food's fine thanks for asking', to which he shouted back 'good', in a very rude manner, without stopping or looking at me. By this point I'd had enough and took my plate to another member of staff and asked for my money back. That particular member of staff apologised profusely and gave my money back, offering me a free sandwich and asking if there was anything she could do to make the situation better. It is unfortunate that not all of the staff members have her standard of customer service as it lets the team down. Safe to say I won't be returning

I usually have the omelette chip and beans always o.k.

We visited a self catering facility in the area for a weeding and we came here to purchase all the food and alcohol. What you would expect from a Morrisons store, busy car park and friendly staff. Some of the group ate breakfast here and said it was not the greatest they had tasted, items were cold and the eggs were not runny for the eggs benedict.

Brilliant choice and quick service . I enjoyed the variety of food. The gammon steaks were great value .

Un típico Morrisons con todos los habituales, comestibles, bebidas, alimentos frescos, etc. Justo en las afueras de la ciudad. La mayoría de los días es fácil aparcar. Una buena parada de pokemon demasiado 😂 staf, bastante servicial y amable. Hay un restaurante y un inodoro.

Tiendas Morrisons hoy es un auténtico lujo ya que tienen muchas opciones de comidas preparadas, así como una carnicería local y pescado monger. Su selección de bebidas alcohólicas, cervezas y vinos de todo el mundo es muy impresionante y sus precios siguen siendo modestas

Este es un buen supermercado grande con un excelente rango de productos, incluyendo algunos muy sabroso delicias locales.

Visitamos el café hoy y quedé muy decepcionado. Mi marido quería pescado y patatas fritas, no tenían pescado, así que les pedimos para sobresaliente, huevos y patatas fritas, no así pidió gambas sobresaliente, patatas fritas y guisantes y cuando finalmente llegamos después de una larga espera fue como parte de un niño. Yo tenía un bollo y era muy sosa y no da sensación de frescura. Máquina de bebidas estaba fuera de servicio, por lo que fue una de las máquinas de café, muy pobre hoy. Normalmente las comidas no están demasiado mal allí, pero hoy era horrible

As you would expect from a Morrisons chain, all the usual but generally only kids clothing with the exception of tights/socks.

Just the service is so slow that puts me off from this place. We order , drink the drinks, read the paper and then still waiing...

A standard large supermarket, anything you want / need. Large car park but often v full. Staff more friendly than city based Morrison's so shopping as stress free a possible for this type of place.

Had 2full English breakfasts here good quality for the price bacon a bit under cooked but got a cake afterwards I would return in the future.

We have been in a couple of times for a quick bite to eat with my parents in law and with my youngest daughter. Plenty of space inside. Usual food choices. Nothing exciting, but it's a budget cafe when all is said and done. However on receiving cold bacon rolls (on two separate occasions) we complained. The response from staff was poor. "What do you want us to do about it." It's the service and lack of care that lets this place down.

One of the 1st times I came here I queued for fuel at the petrol station. Whilst in the queue with other cars queuing around me a male member of staff was trying to get across the forecourt with a cart of wood. As he pushed the cart around me he swore at me for being in his way.. Very bad customer service! Yesterday the wife & I went to Morrison's again for a top up shop, it was around midday. Half the fruit & veg shelves were bare, asked a member of staff where something was...she walked away without saying anything, we assumed we had to follow her, no welcoming smile...no expression...nothing. The staff never look happy.I've said it a hundred times now...if you've got a car spend your hard earned cash elsewhere....

Again , visited for breakfast/ligh meal when staying in the area , been done out in the new format , staff were helpful , food cooked to order which is straightforward/reliable .Just handy and useful

We ordered 3 meals all with chips, took over 20 minutes to arrive. Fish was full of bones served to a partially sighted person, a potential choking hazard and no warning given!!! Watched the chef plating up breakfasts and the cross contamination was appalling, serving vegetarian breakfasts using utensil he'd just served up meat sausages and bacon with. Surely this is basic food hygiene and practice for goodness sake get the staff trained properly. Asked the café waitress for an item she'd forgotten to bring and she went to get it looking very sulky. Not a great atmosphere and the staff are not very helpful or friendly. Wont be going again that's for sure.

Laughable. Checkout lady didn't do her job well and then kept us waiting while she wrote her name on our receipt telling us morrisons giving £1000 away to encourage customers to write good reviews but maybe she should thought to give good service first as that is what they pay her for.

After some months of giving the cafe a wide berth we called in today hoping things may have improved ....unfortunately they haven't!!!tables still dirty ..staff unsure of what was required and really awful coffee !

Visited here as shopping in store wasn't as bad as we thought it would be had 2 full English breakfasts, came out quick all cooked properly all good!

We have visited this morrisons café on many occasions now and it is just getting worse. This time it was a wait of 20 mins for 2 x small breakfasts at 1-30 and it wasn't even busy. The tables weren't cleared when we arrived and had to do it ourselves. When I questioned the waiting time I was told that at one point they were really busy and were behind because of that reason!!! When the food arrived it was really dried up, so come on, get the correct number of staff and up your game. The last time the excuse was that 2 members of staff wete sick, is that the customers fault??!! This time I am going to contact the head office, and see if they have lame excuses as well.

Visited with my daughter, husband and elderly dad. No trays - had to get a dirty one off an empty table. Ordered 3 breakfasts and was told 25 minute wait, after we had got our drinks! Could see a lot of food building up under the hot light but no-one available to serve it. Coffee was OK but had to use a fork to stir sugar in. Meals arrived and one egg was busted and the server made a slight apology about that. Considering they were all the same breakfasts they were very inconsistent. Fried bread was hard and inedible and sausages varied from almost burnt to almost cooked. Lots of dirty tables awaited cleaning. Staffing is clearly an issue here and I hope Morrisons address it because the café could be a real asset to the store.

The fish & chip meal was not bad but the coffee with was terrible;I was here 2 years ago and wrote that the coffee machine gave you more water than coffee, I am pleased to report that it still does. This time I took it back,and asked for my money back and was refunded. Mt wife did not want me to say anything in case I upset them, Nearly forgot the other machine was only giving out steam ..

Cafe all wrong! - You obtain your drinks and then order the food from the Cashier after a long queue - only to be told a long wait for food - Self satisfied staff who can't see anything wrong in the system or their own attitude - The Supermarket is worse / Scruffy shelves - lack of many items - Staff also self satisfied giving the attitude that if you have a query your regarded as a pain - Avoid the whole Menagerie!

Terrible service .... staff member didn't look very clean and had a very bad attitude ! We couldn't get the coffee we wanted as the machine had broken down !! The coffee we were offered was awful .Lots of tables hadn't been cleared the place was very dirty ! Had to pull out 6 forks before I managed to find a clean one that wasn't encrusted in food!!! Give it a wide berth !!!

I went to get a few things in the morning at 9.30 went to go and pay and the girl on the customer service desk told me I'd have to wait half an hour till I can pay... I kindly ask another member of staff how come everyone else is shopping at the same time and she laughed and said you'll all have to wait until ten in the morning.., no signs or anything to let you know that! they don't start until ten? Its the attitude they have they shouldn't be working in that line of work.. #rude I'll never be shopping at that store again...GO TO SPAR!! In town lovely customer service and they let you pay from 7 in the morning.

visited the café today and had to wait ages in the queue as the cashier also had to fill up the cutlery section etc. and there were no trays whatsoever. The cashier however was apologetic and then there was the wait for over 15 mins for the food. Also the tables are not cleared and wiped often enough. trouble is that Morrisons have the monopoly as there isn't any competition in the area.

always a good meal the staff are pleasant and efficient.Restuarant is always clean and kept so by the staff

This is my local supermarket so I have to often pop in for bits and pieces but I have to say I am getting so sick of the miserable faces/attitudes of some of the staff. They look and sound so fed up, I almost feel guilty for troubling them! I'm not sure if this is due to Morrison's just being a completely terrible place to work (in which case, I suggest finding another job) or what it is. Also, where have the recycling bins gone? That's not showing much care towards your environment is it Morrison's?? I never do a big shop here I always venture further afield to Asda, Tesco or Waitrose, friendlier staff. Should point out that I have no comment on the Cafe as I never go in there. Have no desire to spend more time than absolutely have to in this place.

As always Morrisons cafe provides good value, and tasty meals. Great when arriving out the shopping. Specials are available at certain times of the day.

Called at Morrisons to by petrol as on a self catering holiday in the area. Decided to eat at the café to save us cooking back at the accommodation. The café was very clean and the furnishing was above the standard you would expect at a supermarket. The food we ordered was excellent for the price we paid. I ordered an omelette I got two with chips and beans including a hot drink for a fiver. My hubby had fish chips and peas, the fish have massive pieces of white fish again for a fiver. The food quality far exceeded what we expected for the price. If we had has children with us they would have eaten for free. Great experience.Our local Morrison near home I have eaten there once but never again therefore Morrisons cafes do differ.

Easy walking distance back the road from the discount motel place beside the A38. Not top notch but the Morrisons is much better value than the white read facility beside the hotel.

Called in for breakfast what a load of rubbish when the breakfast came had to send to toast back as it was like charcoal then sent the eggs back burnt on the bottom and the yoke was like snot not cooked I love my sausage but when I bit into the sausage it tasted off it was disgusting we complaind to the manager who gave us a refund on one breakfast

Went to the beach and quarry whilst staying near Liskeard. We wanted to take a picnic but I was on holiday and not intending to spend hours preparing, cooking etc. Morrisons meal deals were amazing value and saved us a fortune - lots of choice in this branch too.

This is a good store with everything you need and all easy to find. Generally speaking the staff are polite and helpful, although I get the impression sometimes that they are fed up with their long hours - but that's just am impression. What saddens me is the point blank refusal of the top dogs at Morrisons to change their signage above and within the quick service tills to '10 items or fewer' in line with good English. The current '10 items or less' signage displays a complete disregard to English, displays a bad example, especially to children and their refusal to correct their error shows an arrogance I find difficult to understand.

Fairly standard supermarket cafe. Wide range of food choices and coffees. The cafe is clean, well stocked and the service is pleasant. They use the same foods they sell in store so consistency is not an issue - that said I do wish they would dust their doughnuts with caster sugar and not icing sugar. The cafe has recently been given a makeover, it is comfortable but you're not encouraged to linger. No issues, it is what it is.

Stayed local to here in a holiday cottage and used this store on several occassions. Found the staff to be extremely friendly. Store had everything we needed and due to the fact that the tourist season has not yet started we always found it easy to both park and shop. Would recommend.

While standing in the queue to order food, we noticed 10 plates of food in the hot plate section, waiting to be delivered to the customers, there was a lady on the till, man moving around behind the desk, nobody was delivering the food which was just waiting there-going cold, we ordered 2 breakfasts, lady wasn't even going to give us our change, we had to ask for the table number as she didn't give us one of them either, we tried to find a clean table, most had used plates etc. left on them, should think nobody had cleared the tables since they opened,we waited nearly 20 minutes to get our food delivered, the fried bread was the crust of the bread, this was rock hard, the fried eggs were awful, like eating rubber, compared to other cafes inside a Morrison's store we have visited, this is most defiantly the worst

This is was a local stop off to grab a bite to eat before heading off on a day out sightseeing. Good value for money, very clean.

There was no allergy list at the café, it had to be fetched from the bakery. A member of staff there, when asked about meal ingredients in relation to a severe egg allergy of one of our party, said he didn't think it look like it contained egg so he thought it would be ok. Really? And what if he's wrong? When an ingredient list was eventually found, even if egg was not listed as an ingredient, there was always the 'get-out clause' stating 'may contain traces of egg...' This is lazy labelling and makes it unnecessarily difficult for those with allergies. Surely it is not impossible to keep egg free meals away from eggs in the preparation process? We also noticed that the prepacked sandwiches, etc, contained no ingredient labels.Having ordered our meals, including a child's meal for a 21 month old, we were astonished when the waitress put the child's plate down in front of her saying 'careful, the plate's really hot!' No kidding! It must have just come out of a very hot oven! We couldn't believe that this was given to a toddler! Have they no sense? Serious health and safety training needed here.

My wife and I were in Liskeard and decided we wanted dinner. So we went to Morrisons store restaurant. My wife had the Jacket Potato and I had roast beef. The Jacket Potato with cheese and coleslaw and salad was very tasty and done to perfection, which she enjoyed very much and she is a good judge being a cook herself. My roast was also very good with a large portion of beef and roast potatoes also three veg, topped with a tasty Yorkshire pudding. Also plenty of tasty gravy which I like. In all it was a really good and very clean meal being a super store. We will be calling in again without any doubt. Thanks Morrisons from Liskeard Cornwall.

The only downside of the cafe is sometimes the wait.This is due.to the cafe being short staffed.Cafe has recently been renovated. The food is cheap and cheerful and have never had a problem. Always comes hot and great for kids being free afyer 3pm.on school days.If you want gourmet food go elsewhere, it's a cafe and does what it says on the tin.Breakfast is always a winner, as are coffee and cakes, kids snack boxes and lasagna and jacket potatoes.

Some times good unfortunately sometimes bad. Staff helpful and rushed off their feet with up to 25 min delay. I have complained 3 times about delays and told that were reviewing staffing levels ( 3 times) apart from Aldi, Morrisons are the only supermarket for about 15 miles. So that have a captive audience for weekly shop. Lucky lots of cafe that are quick and caring

Look it is what it is a supermarket cafe but the big breakfast was decent and good value. Would've been quicker to serve it myself though!
