What can I say.. been coming here for years and seen it go downhill, but this visit all good, clean tables , working coffee machines, well stocked food items and cutlery, efficient staff, with prompt servuce (with a smile) making it a pleasurable experience, with low low prices as well.. bonus!

A big disappointment. I quite like Morrisons' supermarket, but its café is nowhere near the same standard and really lets the Morrison name down. Slow service, dirty tables, menu items unavailable, long wait for food to be delivered (they were busy, but only about a quarter of the café was occupied), and when the food arrived the pie was acceptable, but the chips had obviously been precooked and warmed up and were horrible. Saving grace - the prices were reasonable.

Where to start! No cups, then dirty cups. Ordered 2x breakfast and coffee by customer screen. No poached egg option, Toast with no butter. All tables dirty not been cleared, Coke and fanta machine had no syrup in it. No sandwiches in the shelves.no cutlery ( sorry 2 X forks and t spoons available). Just Dirty dirty dirty! However staff did best to sort issues as they were happening under pressure.

Decided to have a.coffee after we did our shopping. There were 2 people in front of us waiting to order. But no one around to take it. It tookn10 minutes for lady to appear in between serving those in front she had to assist 2 customers who were at the drink despensing machine. By he time I paid for my 2 coffees there were 4 people in front of me who had paid by a machine gettibg more card points waiting to use the one coffee despensing machine. I was stood waiting to get my drinks for another good 10 minutes as the machine was so slow. Once i got there there was no chocolate for the cappocino. The assistant was bringing out food to people sat at tables along with another assistant. They had the attitude of people not wanting to be there. First rime i had a coffee at Morrisons. And last. Self service doesnt work whwn there is only one despensing machine.and a queue

The children’s meals are actually not free regardless of their advertising. To purchase a child’s meal is actually more expensive than if you buy the sandwich meal deal from in the shop. Have heard the same rude member of staff tell 4 people that the children’s meals are not free. Ridiculous

Very disappointed, ordered a child's meal, toastie for my son and dye to them gring very very short staffed waited almost an hour for both items. K knowing they so short staffed znd a tremendous wait one would think they should have closed the cafe or just had sandwiches/cakes and beverages on offer, or informed customers ordering hot food that there would be nearlyvan hours wait. Not much fun when you've a hungry toddler.

Still sat here nearly an hour waiting for food that has been paid for hence I am writing a poor review! The cafe is deadly quiet and not even busy, I would never use this poor excuse of a cafe again

If you want to wait 45 minutes for food I wouldn't feed to my dog this is the place for you! We cleared a table so we could actually sit down and when the food finally arrive it was cold and rubbery. I got a refund cause it was inedible. The staff are rude and slow. Don't ruin your day by eating here.

Friendly and polite waiting staff, although food takes in excess of 45 minutes to arrive with an all but empty dining room. While one does not expect much in terms of quality from a Morrison's café, it seems that hot food free from hair/eye lashes served in a timely manner, is far beyond the capacity of this establishment. Would not recommend.

Visited for breakfast. Haven't been in a while. Used to love the breakfasts here. We ordered a small breakfast each. It was barely warm and unappetizing. The cappuccino was lukewarm. The tea wasn't hot either. Won't be going again.

used restaurant today and must say very poor food, it seems it has gone downhill as used to be very good, ordered small breakfast and veggy breakfast ,should include a fried egg and beans , waited 35 minutes and it was not busy, breakfast turned up minus beans and egg, also veggy breakfast turned up with scrambled egg?. when i asked about missing egg and beans i was informed fried eggs were not available but poached ,boiled or scrambled was possible, very strange , also hash browns missing from veggy option .food was tepid at best ,maybe kitchen staff don,t know what the menu includes, also empty table uncleared, must put this down to bad management. peter

Went to the cafe only one young man cooking in the kitchen .nobody was cleaning the tables and had to remove trays and left over food before we could sit down. Think this is disgusting with covid. Plus no utensils or condiments. Will never go again

Worst Food I had in Newquay. All reheated and not appetizing.Service staffshortage was obvious.Cannot recommend.

We think we must have visited on a bad day. Lots of available tables on a Thursday morning, which ought to have triggered alarm bells - use to fight for a table. All automated ordering via an App......very lovely member of staff brought over our small breakfast some 20 minutes later. Sadly not up to usual standard....and whilst this is a supermarket cafe, the breakfast was cold. Luckily Morrison's had that very morning had a delivery of cafe approved butter...I kid you not. If they run out, notwithstanding an aisle dedicated to butter, spreads etc, they have to wait for their delivery. Sausage was swimming in oil, so was chasing around the plate. Temperature on the 'hot' beverage machine was evidently turned to minimum...cold brew and a cold cappo...thought for a moment I may have pressed fredo by mistake !!! Such a shame.....

The breakfast was super tasty and good temperature! Great value for money as half price currently. Only downside is that the wait time is ridiculous!

Wow! My kids and I ate at the Restaurant daily during our holiday visit. My kids insisted on eating at this lovely friendly well managed restaurant at the Morrison’s in Newquay. It was well priced and had a wide variety menu. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. It’s was our go to place for tasty, fresh food and cakes.

Not up to the usual standard, black pudding was inedible and much was overcooked...even the toast was like rock. Wouldn't go back to that one...sorry.

Friday morning, 8.00 am ish. Very quiet, seems Covid secure; easy to order at the counter or machine. Food arrived very soon after, great full English to start the day with a cuppa, before a long drive North. Just a shame you don't do fried bread!

Breakfast for two on the terrace, and the staff were very helpful when we had a payment card problem with the card machine. Food was of good quality, value was excellent, and service came with a smile.

We recently witnessed staff drop food on the floor from a box and then put it back on the shelf!!!!!!! (then a so called manager did the dame thing) Watch the dates on fresh meat and milk as they are very short and you can get caught out. P/P meat quality is poor and the sausage is awful. the shelves are a constant mess with cardboard build up and staff fill the aisles with cages so yo can not social distance. I understand they are profitable because of the unique location, but this store has got worse over time. The worst store we have shopped in and the management seem to be very busy talking and joking around on the shop floor. PLEASE somebody else build a big supermarket to put this store in it's place. Thank fully we have stopped shopping here.

I am not happy, my second mum had to send her lasagna back 2times because it was cold in the middle. There is always stuff on the menu that they don’t have. But the catering manager gave the money for the lasagna back and she was lovely, overall it was okay.

Shopping and my wife and I decided to try the cafe. Wife had there breakfast omelette and I had the big daddy breakfast. Have to say I struggled to finish it, amazing value for money, beautifully cooked. My wife enjoyed her omelette. and the total cost was very good including 2 coffees

Queued for 20 minutes to order 2 Fish and Chips girl on till was back and forth to kitchen getting cold orange juice etc as cabinets were empty this was 12pm got to till to be told no fish we left the cafe and went to find store manager who obviously thought he was to good to take any notice telling me there was plenty of staff on when there obviously wasn’t told him we frequently tried to eat in cafe but always there were only a few items available on menu I said I thought it would be a good idea to put a notice at cafe entrance telling customers what the cafe didn’t have on the menu he said he took my point on board won’t go there again unless new cafe manager employed or store manager takes more notice instead of being totally arrogant

The last time we were in Newquay we had an excellent meal so decided to go there again this year, What a difference Fish and chips looked nice No Fish, ok Gammon steak no sorry sold out. Lamb shank yes we have that, I do not recommend unless you like cold potatoes swimming in what is probably called gravy although that is not what I called it. Its not the staffs fault the three who were working were very harassed but tried to keep smiling.

Friendly service. Used the kids eat free with an adult meal deal so good value for money. The cafe was really quiet but it took a while to get the food. At least it was fresh I guess.. my partner ordered a burger but they had ran out of buns so he had a chicken burger without the bread. The seating area was looking a bit of a mess. Rubbish on the floor, food left on the tables. Customers shouldn’t leave it in such a state but It should have been cleaned up. Food was nice though. Kids enjoyed it.

Ok place to shop but terrible for stuff been out of stock - do Morrisons not stock up as items never available?

What is good about Morrisons for a start the staff are tired and unhappy and have to wear a false smile even when they are having a bad day tired and in pain. The place is usually over crowded with rude customers stopped buying bread there knowing that my bread sits in a corridor where the staff toilets flood and stink the smell goes into the bread how disgusting!! Wake up customers the place is expensive it is a unhappy pit to.Also most stuff is usually out of date quick and the available stock never there.Never seen so many flies this year just like the tourist everywhere and annoying going to stop coming here to all the people who read this go to Aldi and eat at another cafe please the best cafe is Andy's in Newquay and everywhere else. Do hope they build a better supermarket here one day to cater for the extra homes being built to.

We stayed at Hendra for a week in August and had breakfast and a few dinners at the cafe, very good service and great food. This is the second year we have eaten here and hopefully will revisit next year. Very friendly till staff always happy to help especially Kayleigh

Came here to eat with my family. Everything we tried to order they didn't have left! Had to leave without eating.

It's clean, well laid out and staff are happy to help. The pizza counter is great- always happy to make whatever you want. Cakes are plentiful and the store is well stocked

So many people not enough staff when busy terrible food not enough seating too many children running around mess out of stock products rude customer s the list goes on and the brainless idiot management wish this joke shop close down.

We ordered and were told they had run out of pouched eggs. ?? You don’t have eggs we asked yes but there not pouched.

We went shopping here upon arrival for our holiday. Spent a lot of money on a food shop and brought food for our 18 month old. Two days later I was feeding her a yogout brought from Morrison and towards the end I noticed the use by date and it was out of date by 3 days!!! Not impressed!!!

Busy season again the holiday sheep come gather yet again to the main tourist attraction called Morrisons. A bit of bad weather nothing to do spend a day in the super market sure they can find better things to do than fill their faces with inedible grease and fat called food people travel from miles around how sad. a holiday is to see things not shop and buy the same rubbish you can buy at home. In general why even bother coming to Newquay? It's only got its beaches and a has been supermarket.

I stopped off at Morrison’s with my wife and friends to have s breakfast and to be honest I wish I hadn’t bothered.

All 4 of us ate for £10. Super value. Drinks included. Service quick. Food tasty. Clean area and staff welcoming in the cafe. Staff on the tills friendly and happy too.

Our family just had the delicious big breakfast which is great value and cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the manageress who went out of her way to assist us even though it was really busy.

Came down with my family again noticed big changes its still the same old rubbish just like the shop getting old and shabby tired looking staff with no purpose working so hard there seems to be a lot fewer of them me and the family avoided eating in the cafe again so busy again. Heard that new shops are going to be built in the area so be going to them and eat and shop in General the shop is a as been joke shop nothing changes and probably never will maybe it needs new management all departments cafe especially.

An average supermarket cafe. Lots of seating but very noisy due to constant beeps and automated announcements at checkouts. Food and drink at reasonable prices - nothing special but all ok. Staff kept tables clear and clean.

Always consistently good freshly cooked food at great prices, especially in the evening! Two meals with drinks for £12. Excellent value plus you get to shop before or after your meal. Very pleasant helpful staff and quick service when it's quiet. Would certainly recommend. We eat there regularly and are never disappointed.

Well I came back to give it another chance the manager there is such a rude woman and the lies that spew from her are incredible the menu is terrible the food is awful the place is shabby can't read the menus on the wall small print the staff look tired and overworked think they are so brave working under this Kay think that's what she is called the food was yet again inedible was ill the next day my family were upset with the whole experience please read this everyone and be warned of this place for a start it needs a new manager and I hope the store manager takes note

This place is becoming something of a regular haunt for me. I brought my dear older Mum with me today; she enjoys the drive, as well as almost any opportunity to dine out, even if our eventual destination is nothing more than an unassuming supermarket cafe. Anyway, the food was tasty and the staff friendly. Highly recommended.

Wow.Just had a top weekend in Newquay and have had to call in to this place a couple of times for essentials.

Doesn't change typical Kaos gave it a last chance totally love the cafes in Newquay not this place why would people want to que up for inedible garbage food is beyond belief maybe just for a few pence less but come on! A joke that isn't funny Newquay town needs the business not this place wonder if they ever sorted the fly problem out? And the sloth staff and the cooks and useless managers? Well not going here again and if people were intelligent they won't go to

If you don't mind food which tastes like man made paste, with artificial colour taste and Monosodium glutamate ( artificial flavourings) the you are OK (Zombie)!!!

Don't head here on an August check in day for parks in area. Complete and utter bedlam, lack of food, and kids with mini trollies acting like F1 drivers.

Terrible place so busy everything is poor never coming again it never improves also saw a rat and the fly's everywhere like being at Spain why do tourists ever consider such a place to eat when there are excellent cafes in town and cheaper the atmosphere of the place is awful so busy and intense upset my family why don't they close the place not keep more people pile in think evenings are bad to.

We needed our food shopping for self catering at Newquay Holiday Park. This was about a 10 minute drive from there.

Went to eat at the cafe vile is too good a word for a place so busy and the food I wouldn't give my cat or dog the service is terrible

Went for a coffee and cake on Sunday lunchtime was really busy so expected a few delays. But oh my was it bad. First there was no coffee cups. Then the girl couldn’t find crisps or yoghurts on the till. Went to get my coffee and there was no milk in either machines. Told a member of staff but he didn’t do anything. So the poor girl on the till had to stop serving customers and fill up the coffee machines. One wasn’t working so had to put out of order on it. That’s s girl was doing everything. Where was all the staff! While getting my coffee a customer said there was no forks in the tray. While having our food and drink we noticed a lot of people complaining and food going back to the kitchen. Plates were piled up on tables. This cafe needs sorting out!

Visited the store this evening. Really good choice of food on the menu and pleasant helpful staff. Will definitely return.

After my poor experience there before with my partner. I was in the area early before checking in to my accomodation and decided to see if things had improved, so breakfast it was.

Met my wife here for an impromptu lunch. The lady on the till was lovely and friendly. The food was nice and filling we had a Tikka with Rice and Veg Thai Curry and Rice. Great stuff!

I had lunch here on Saturday and, I am pleased to report, I was very impressed with the food and the service I received. I usually frequent the store in Redruth but seeing as I was in the area, I thought I would chance it. The fish and salad was on par with what I expect and have become used to at Redruth. Yes...I will definitely come again.

This is the best fish and chips in Cornwall. For £6 a head - fish, chips and peas plus a drink is amazing value. Plus if you eat after 3pm Monday to Friday children eat free with each paying adult. Well done

By the title I mean there aren't too many large supermarkets to chose from in Newquay apart from Sainsbury's. Usual bakery, fishmongers, deli/pizzas. Plenty of parking, although watch the lane directions in and out, they can catch you out. Dont fall for Rowes hot bakery, very expensive pasties! Great little pop-up add-on areas outside for summer or occasions, like a beach shop and a mini garden centre in the summer. Wheelchair friendly. Toilets. Cafe. Petrol station with jet or drive thru car wash. Don't think there's a dry cleaners, do check if required. There is also an Lidls almost next door if you want to vary your shop!

Arrived carpark gd. Entered store to find some allegery relief tablets for a bite to my face. First member of staff i asked couldnt find the price of the box so said she couldnt help. Asked another member of staff who was helpful. Then went to pay....man on the till just getting out of his seat....light on.....so assumed he was changing with the other member of staff who was at the end of his till.....wrong!!! He left and i ended up moving till. Then went to cafe.....lady serving lovely but after a conversation with every customer about her forth coming holiday....a quick cuppa wasnt a quick cuppa!! Suggest management need to address these issues as i shop at morrisons every week.....thankfully our store is helpful, quick and go out of their way to help......worse morrisons ive ever been too!!!!!

Superb super store very reasonable and the £3.00 lunch deals fab pick anything salad, sandwich, sushi, a snack and a drink fab. Cafe ok too just very busy.

My goodness this shops busy . Good value for money and the restaurant is well stocked and the food cooked well . Best to go first thing in a morning or later on in the evening to miss the holiday crowds

Really chuffed about the service we got when on holiday. The person serving us in the cafe went and checked for me that the chips were cooked in a separate fryer, which they were. She also asked about allergies so that cross contamination could be avoided. I actually order a plate of chips to share with my partner as I thought a jacket potato for £3 wouldn't be filling. I was wrong! I was absolutely stuffed and felt like a right pig. Wonderful value for money and really nice food.

Went into the cafe for some dinner and when we found someone Robin was so helpful not only to us but watching him with other customers he was carrying trays to tables, constantly busy being really accommodating to everyone!! Not all of your staff are like this some can be really quite rude and could all take a leaf out of his book!! Very lovely man

The same Morrisons layout you get in many stores up and down Britain. It is reliable, clean, simple fresh food at reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. Toilets etc. Big car park. Petrol station. And a supermarket as well.

Joined the check out queue (5th) person. Waited nearly 20 mins before being served. Broken conveyer belt - had to push everything up to till. Coupons not accepted told to go to customer service ' I was not going to join the queue there too. Poor and stressful shop.

We husband and me stopped here for tea around 5.40 ordered our food , was a bit of wait time around 20/25 minutes but food arrived hot and was very good for the price paid . Note to all if u order a dessert make sure you only put the number on the stand if you want it then as could arrive with your main meal and so would not end up being the hit dessert you had ordered. All in all good value for money especially with offers on. Can imagine it gets a bit chuck a bloc. Here in the summer months too . We will def go there again.

This is a very busy place and it was the worst 20 mins ever i only popped in for afew bits while i was away and it was dreadful it was total chaos ,the staff are so slow on the check outs i didnt return!

As a male, I hate shopping but Morrisons Newquay is a great store to shop in and it has a cafe too.I would recommend.Always very busy.

We were staying in the area and came twice to get shopping and had breakfast first. Full cooked breakfast was only £4.50 (without toast or drink ) - very tasty and great value.

We called in here for fuel and decided to look around the store, As the menu in the cafe seemed ok we decided to eat here. The girl taking our order apologised as there was a twenty minute wait because they were short staffed that day. The lad who brought us our order was trying to do everything IE clean tables sweep the floor ect but still found time to speak to everyone and with a smile on his face. Overall the food was good the service very good and at very reasonable prices.

We visited last week and were impressed by the quality of food for the price. We ordered a toastie and two breakfasts, coming to less than £10, and enjoyed every mouthful. Great value for money.The only downside was the teapots. The lids cave in so when you try to remove them you burn your fingers, which is not ideal for your elderly customers, or any customer who still wants a fingerprint after their meal. The teapots were also heavy and awkward to hold, even by myself and I have no issues with strength in my hands as an elderly customer may have.I would also recommend hiring more staff. One poor, but very hardworking lady with dark hair, was left on her own to manage the tills, serve food and clear tables. It was rather busy on this day and I noticed one young girl standing around watching the world go by. You may need to review your staff, and possibly give this lady a raise. She was about middle aged, well built and very helpful with customers, we were all impressed by her hard work.Thank you for a lovely lunch, we hope our improvements do not go unnoticed. Definitely going to come again for your great value meals.

If you have kids, eat here after 3pm and they eat free. £15 for a meal and drinks for a family of 5 and that includes kids fruit bag too! I recommend the Lasagne - very nice. You'd think it would be cheap and nasty food, but it really wasn't - very nice pub standard food.Thank you to the staff there.

We have been doing our weekly main grocery shop here since it opened, and have always found their prices very competitive, there is a huge car park, with always room to get close to the entrance, the staff here are always pleased to help you, and their petrol price is usually the cheapest in Newquay.

Obviously very very busy late breakfast time. Obviously everyone working very hard to maintain standards and service including 3 managers clearing tables. They managed to maintain a really good offer, 30 min wait on freshly cooked breakfast and we were told that at the till. Great food, great value for money, lovely and clean and very spacious. Would recommend to couples and families of all sizes and ages. Well done.

Used this most days for supplies and have to say it's one of the busiest Morrisons I have ever used! I guess this is down to the number of holidaymakers, I feel sorry for the residents having to try and do their shopping lol

Clean cafe, fantastic hot food, bottomless coffee and good value for money. A choice of rolls or bread, brown or white, marge, butter or dry for a bacon or sausage sandwich. The rest of the supermarkets need to take a leaf out of Morrisons book.It's very simple Morrisons know you will only fill your cup up twice, 3 at the most but while you've got a hot drink you don't notice the wait. That is why I can't tell you how long we waited for our food to come out. But when it did it was hot and very tasty. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 points is one of the coffee machines was off for cleaning so we had to queue for drinks.

We walked to Morrisons from the Hendra Holiday Park just 10 minutes away, it was really well stocked and lots of offers and sales on clothes. We mainly needed everyday essentials such as milk eggs bread etc, but found everything we needed with ease and although fairly busy we didn't have to wait to be served and the till operator was very friendly and helpful.

To save us a little money we ate in the café here a couple of times during our holiday, the food was tasty and freshly prepared. Really couldn't grumble at fish and chips for a fiver and the fish was bigger than the portion we paid £10 for in a pub. A selection of puddings were available for £1 if you had brought a main meal.Only issue we had was the one day when the door next to the drinks machine was open and wasps were flying around the drinks machine and climbing inside the nozzles, this was reported to management as someone could get stung and for general health and safety , not sure if anything was done about it though as we didn't go back the net night....

Large breakfasts:Eggs so hard on bottom had a skin and inedible. Mushrooms totally white (almost uncooked)Bacon tiny fat laden and not greatToast bone dryTotal embarrassment to whoever cooked that. I will never return here to eat. The was by a mile the worst English breakfast I've ever bought.

Had a couple of vouchers to use up so called in early one day for a cooked breakfast. Most of the ingredients are pre cooked with a fresh fried egg added which reduces the waiting time. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the breakfast five stars. Highly recommended.

Arrived at a nearby campsite and called in to get a few bits and pieces. Then went in for a bit of tea and it was fantastic value for money 4 of us fed for £10, great value and the meals were good too.

Was at a loose end and not enough time to prepare lunch at home between two appointments so popped into the cafe here for lunch. Fortunately it was not too busy for a Saturday Lunchtime and I was able to order a hot lunch that was cooked and delivered in about 15 minutes.I did notice that during the week and in term time, kids can eat free in the afternoons.

Fantastic value.....with special offers 4 of us had mains, 4 drinks, and 2x deserts for £12! The Gammon wasn't nice, but everything else ive had in there has been good, and cant be beaten for value

Called in yesterday for breakfast with a friend. Pleasantly surprised to see a refit has taken place since my last visit. Not keen on having to look for all my favourite products since things have been moved round. One good thing is the completely renewed cafe area. The food seemed the same as before but the new servery and seating is much better than before and user friendly. I particularly like the comfy seating area instead of formal tables and chairs throughout the cafe. I will be back.

On holiday locally so this Morrison's was only a few miles from our holiday cottage. We always shop at Morrison's at home so were happy to discover Newquay had one. The biggest surprise was the store size for the town size, much bigger than expected. We used it all week for our shopping as it had a good range of everything we needed. Restaurant was standard Morrison's fare, food was OK with no complaints. Lets face it it is convenience eating at a price so don't expect a la carte. Overall no complaints.

Lovely big store with everything you need for a caravan holiday and in a good location- just down the road from our accommodation.

Bigger store than I expected, it had everything stocked that i required and only a 10 minute walk from Hendra Holiday Park or less than 5 minutes in the car

Well stocked store, with everything you would need including clothing . . . good selection of foods, wine and beer . . . staff always been welcoming although can get crazy busy during peak season.
