My wife and I had a scrumptious lunch here, with our little pug Bella, during our wildlife holiday in Dumfries & Galloway (there are amazing tame otters on the river Nith, close to the centre of Dumfries 🦦️). We had what is surely the best home-made chilli in Scotland, followed by yummy tray bakes 😁. The staff were very friendly and made our dog really welcome. She was very happy to have some chips, and she bought a cute badge from the pet hospital charity table, to take home to Yorkshire. This cafe is a real gem - highly recommended and EXCELLENT value! Many thanks 😊

This is a lovely place.We visited on a Saturday afternoon.The staff are friendly and helpful.The menu is basic but they do have decaf drinks which is great.We both had hot rolls,one with bacon and sausage and the other was fried egg and potato scone.The reason I didn't give 5 stars was that my potato scone was overcooked and tough.The prices are very reasonable and i will visit again.

Excellent top quality selection on breakfast, well cooked and presented. Far far superior to Wetherspoons, which I also consider to be a good value good quality breakfast. Nice and clean premises, friendly and pleasant staff. Give this a try you will go back, I know I will.

Dropped in here for a spot of food as we were hungry after travelling from Glasgow. So glad we did the food was delicious not a massive menu but everything we had was great and it was the best pot of tea I've had in any cafe/restaurant and there's been a few he he. Cosy atmosphere of a small cafe i would highly recommend that you pay this place a visit if your ever in the area 5⭐️

Stumbled on the cafe looking for some lunch as we were driving through. So glad we went in. Dog friendly and the staff even brought our some sausage meat for our dog. My steak and Ale pie was delicious all home cooked and my wife had her Scottish Tattie scone and egg roll, which was good. And all at a very reasonable price, would highly recommend.

We've been here twice now, and very happy both times. Struggle to find an all day breakfast in Dumfries until we came across this gem. Very cheap, we would have paid more for the quick service, decent portions and friendly staff. Love that my partner can have a veggie breakfast and I can have a full breakfast. Will definitely be back, worried for my waist size that we might become regulars! 😂😂

If your in Dumfries and fancy a big Scottish breakfast this is the place to try. Friendly attentive staff, nice and clean establishment. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

We were all quite peckish when we came across this lovely little cafe. They have a good selection on the menu and everything is very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely, it's definitely somewhere to try!

We’re only in Dumfries for a long weekend and we were looking for somewhere to go for a late breakfast when we found this little gem of a cafe. The decor is a total vibe and the owner is a super nice lady, as was the lovely waitress (apparently it was her first day, she was great!) The full breakfast was glorious, so filling and cooked to perfection, perfect, really.

wife had macaroni was watery i had nothing as they told me were all out of breakfast items at lunchtime for their all day breakfast even tho iceland is just over the road 2 minute trip to get more supplies

the macaroni is incredible!!! the best I’ve ever eaten! Two females, server and chef are amazing and kind service and one strange little boy server, but dishes out a mean macaroni. Highly recommend the macaroni

Popped in for a snack and coffee after a long bus trip from Edinburgh and getting rained on. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Good coffee and tasty panini at a very good price. Very clean toilet facility. Free Wi-fi.

I had a mushroom soup,it was tasteless tased nothing like mushrooms soup should be,my daughters had chicken nuggets and chips,the chicken nuggets they were raw and fried we asked for them to be cooked for a bit longer and when they came back it was burnt and still raw on the inside.The bathroom hadn't been cleaned from the previous user,toilet roll over the floor, and a dirty toilet brush on display.Im all for support small local business but I would not eat there again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Be aware if you going there unless you not an immigrant. Very rude staff. Me and my wife exempt from wearing mask and as soon we entered they didn’t even asked but rudely kicked us off. Feel like we not human any more!!

Stopped off here for breakfast after a 9 day road trip around Scotland and I can honestly say this way the nicest breakfast we’ve had. Everything was absolutely delicious and the haggis was amazing. Highly recommend the cafe is lovely, the staff were so nice...

Very cheap. Could increase prices and it would still be good value. Today I had a coke. The glass looked wet and streaky. When I poured the coke in a layer of greasy scum appeared on the surface Of the drink. I left it. Shame....

My wife and I only started visiting this Cafe a couple of months ago. Has a limited menu but quite adequate for our needs. Food is prepared as soon as you order, and is of very good quality, as is the presentation. Have to say...

Visited with my family after having car troubles during our holiday and couldn’t be happier with our stay! Staff were so great with helping us in anyway they could, one waitress even going to length to lend me a plug as my phone had died....

Lovely soup with toast as not hungry. Previous time, had baked tattie which is delic. Everything fresh and tasty. Efficient, pleasant staff in a central spot. Can sit in or out weather dependent. (In Berlin even outwith Covid, in winter, sat outside gas heat lamps...
