Christmas Eve curry. Takeaway. Food arrived on time, was hot and delicious. Pric scare fine too. Recommend

I order from here every week. Tonight went to order my regular meal deal of £10.50 to be inform its now £18.10 for the same items!! I understand small business need to rise their cost but change meal deals by this huge increase is scandalous….. and to be told new meal deal start at £11.50 for 2 items less! I think you now have lost my custom. So disappointed in you moonlight. 😳😣

I rang tonight for very first time to place order for delivery. The attutude of person taking the order was just awful, rude and totally off putting. He told me I wasn't eligible for a free main meal as stated on their takeaway menu. I asked why and he said it was as we had ordered 3 of their mega meal specials plus some other bits that came to over £29 so weren't eligible. I told him this was not stated on their takeaway menu - silence, not even a response. He gave the impresssion he just wasn't bothered. I cancelled the order. There are plenty of good takeaways in Shields with far better service than I received tonight.

Ordered from here for a long time and always been good. Noticed new management and to be fair we have had orders delivered to our door and food was lovely. However last night my daughter who had been in hospital wanted a indian chicken curry and we decided to just collect a taxi special just for her as her appetite was not too good. She needn't have worried! Taxi special which was a chicken curry & chips consisted of 12 chips and sauce, 1 piece of chicken! If this is how they have to make a profit they should be honest and list the taxi special as curry sauce and chips! Very disappointed.

fantastic food as always, waited a little longer but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. one item was missing and was sent out straight away and was with me within 15 mins ... fantastic food and service!!!

Sorry moonlight but the lamb dupiaza was so bland No taste whatsoever and the peshwari Nan was sickly sweet. The rice was ok but the mushrooms tasted sour I can’t comment on the rest but my daughter didn’t like hers either

Best Indian around, only place I will get a takeaway from. I live in Hebburn but still prefer to go to Shields to collect rather than order elsewhere. Really lovely food .

Ordered a 5 course special for £6.95 and wasn’t disappointed. They are under new management and definitely much improved. Portion size was great and rice was big size container too. The pic is only about 1/4 of the overall food I collected. I will return

Far too much spice for plain curry. Also rogan was far too spicy and peppery. Onion bhaji was hard and not fresh. Won't be ordering again

food was very late and forgot some of the food and when I rang they says I'd have to wait over 30 minutes and wasn't pleasant on the phone! ended up ordering from somewhere else and moonlight came to pick the meal back up! disgusting really I'd ordered from them for years but never again

New flyer came through the door the previous week so thought I'd give it a go for a change. This was obviously a bought- in bulk base sauce. It was not what I ordered and it's pretty insulting really. I've been eating Indian food for 40 years and there's no excuse for selling sub-standard cooking like this. Apart from the base sauce there was only a tiny amount of meat added. I know what a good curry is and I would definitely not return.

First time we ordered they didn't give us the poppadom ordered with the meal. This time the two curries we ordered did not taste as they were the correct curry, madras was very sweet and Jalfreezi didn't taste as a Jalfreezi normally would., as well as this we ordered a chicken pilau with green chillis and it came as chicken pilau with onion instead. Overall disappointed that both times the order has had something wrong and currys are not consistent or how I would have expected.

Food arrived a little late but flat is difficult to find. Delivery lad apologetic and friendly. Food still arrived hot and was delicious. Tasted better than Indian food I've had recently in restaurants on ocean road. 5* me and my son cleared our plates, would recommend.

Once again moonlight never fail to disappoint us with delivery time. Ordered food to come before my nightshift and I've had to leave it! And they have left some of order in the shop!! Every time we order from this place something always goes wrong!!!! Not happy.

my order was missing food and i asked for no lemon on salad,3 salads with lemon then 30 mins later got rest of food with only 1 salad the gentleman on the phone said they were busy and didnt read the note on bottom,dissapointing
