Monty's in Nottingham

Mi crítica está en las fotos. Me quejé y respondieron y me bloquearon. Este lugar en teoría es muy bueno y tiene potencial. Si solo el llamado jefe / propietario tuviera personas, habilidades de gestión y servicio al cliente. Realmente nunca me quejo, pero cuando puedo ver a un gerente comportarse tan atrozmente, ¡no tengo otra opción! ¿Cuándo se darán cuenta estas personas de que los clientes son su medio de vida y que tal vez necesiten ser un poco más amables y profesionales para que la gente regrese?

Este es un bar muy peculiar que da al centro de la ciudad. La decoración y los juegos de arcade retro agregan carácter al lugar creando un ambiente divertido. Desafortunadamente, esto fue decepcionado por el personal grosero que no se sintió acogedor en absoluto y nos ignoró en el bar durante 10 minutos sirviendo a otros grupos que se acercaron al bar después de nosotros. Pagamos 9. 70 por dos pintas, que era demasiado caro para este tipo de lugar, así que solo nos quedamos para uno. Luego pasamos 10 juegos en el "arcade", ¡lo cual fue una gran risa! La máquina de hockey de aire se atascó en un punto, así que le pedí ayuda a un miembro del personal, pero él no parecía preocupado o interesado. Continuó sirviendo a otros clientes en el bar, así que me quedé esperando una respuesta. Finalmente llamó a otro miembro del personal para que lo ayudara, que era un poco más cortés. Fue una lástima que el servicio haya amortiguado este lugar ya que nos hubiéramos quedado allí mucho más tiempo y regresamos nuevamente durante nuestro fin de semana fuera mientras disfrutamos de la música y los juegos.

Terrible personal. No volvería de nuevo. Al gerente del bar le pareció un gran inconveniente la noche del 22/12/2019, simplemente vierta las bebidas ordenadas. Parecía que los estaba molestando gastando dinero aquí. ¡El próximo bar en Nottingham se hundirá!

I feel sad leaving this review as the pub is actually okay. But the barmaid was so astonishingly rude to me (and two of my friends, all on separate occasions) that not only is it impossible to recommend this pub, given the amount of competition in Nottingham I would strongly advise visiting anywhere else.

Me and my sister ordered the “fairground prize” fish bowl at the bar served by a guy who looked like he hadn’t got a clue what he was doing or what I had even asked for, for me to have to show him what I was meaning myself on the menu. He also couldn’t even crack a smile if he tried! So I watched him make it which consisted of ice, lemonade, some blue stuff oh and topped up with more lemonade...!!!😂 The menu also stated it came with “fishes” in it too which mostly the reason why I ordered it as I thought it’d look quirky to be told they haven’t even got any as it’s new on the menu. So took this to our table started drinking it and it literally was just like I had spent £12 on a bowl of lemonade so to my anger I went to the bar to complain and wanting a replacement to be greeted by a different man with a bad attitude who said that it’s a “matter of opinion” that I thought it just tasted of lemonade!!!! Plus he said that the “fishes” were the only thing missing in it which is apparently is only a garnish so I don’t get a discount... but I’m sorry it states it on the menu that that is what it comes with which I have paid the money for what it says regardless if it’s a garnish or not. All in all I liked this place but unfortunately won’t be coming again as I’m not up for wasting my well earned money.

Horrendous attitude from who I think was the bar manager, myself and my friends were stuck in the lift at Montys, we pressed the emergency button in the lift, numerous times, no answer, we then rang the bar at least 10 times between us again no answer, having to call the fire brigade to rescue us as we were stuck for half an hour. On arrival, the fire men had to look for bar staff who had no clue we were stuck in the lift and then we were greeted by the manager with anger and a bad attitude like it was our fault the lift had broke and they hadn't answered the phone. Never will I enter that bar again. If i could give it a rating 0 I would.

After having a few drinks around town with friends on Sunday afternoon we decided to go to Monty's for a game of beer pong ,but we got stuck in thier lift. After ringing the emergency call button about 5 times and no one answered we tried to ring the bar itself on their landline about 8 times, no one answered. We then had to ring 999 the fire brigade they came quite quickly and when they finally freed us the manager of montys face was like thunder and he tried to have a go at us for overloading the lift when it said 8 people and there were only 7 of us in there he didn't even offer us a cup of sweet tea for the shock because two of the girls were really struggling as we were in there for nearly half an hour. A younger bar person gave as a bottle of Prosecco but still the manager never came over to ask if we were alright or if we needed anything. Nt really what you'd call good customer service he just didn't care

We came here for drinks after a show on Saturday night at the Theatre Royal. Having visited when it used to be the Curious Manor, not much has changed which is good! We really enjoyed the music selection from the DJ and this is the reason why we stayed most of the evening as the cocktails weren't that great!

I really like Monty's. It's a really fun bar. However, on my visit tonight with the family we were told the kitchen had closed. At 8.45pm. They advertise that they service food until 9pm. Kind of fed up of various places closing their kitchens earlier than advertised. We made a special visit to Monty's so felt disappointed.

Me and the alto team had an amazing time at this bar! They made our experience one to remember! Games and drinks and food all in our own section! Thank you so much for an amazing night

Lovely bar tho is very warm on a hot day didn’t seem to be any air con, the service was good and staff polite, didn’t play any of the games the outside could do with a revamp as didn’t look great from the outside inside looked different would return

Came in the excited, waited 20 mins at the bar watching people coming in and be served before us. Got served by the most grumpy rude waitress with black hair with no eye contact. Watched her pour the rum to my mojito without rum pouring out the bottle. Having said that my expensive virgin mojito was nice. Asked about fussball, didn't have a chance to explain we had no change and could we split a £10 I didn't dare ask because of the pained face of a question. Still no eye contact... Nuts!

One of not many places in the centre of Nottingham with outside seating in direct sunshine at lunch time. Main cider option was a 330ml can of Orchard Theives cider for £3.00, which did the job. Did not eat or visit inside/upstairs.

Went with my mate at about half 7 on a Monday the place was very quite but we didn't care we came for the pool and enjoyed a good few rounds of it. At the start of it we had a 2 pints of the maltsmiths ipa and we both agreed they haven't sat right both needing the toilet (liquid ass is the best I can describe) we both knocked it off and had a few cocktails which were great to be fair we both liked the venue even if service was slow but had no problems other than the beer... And we both like beer :(

I visited Monty's with friends for a birthday celebration. The environment was great, very quirky and the games were good fun. The only downside were all the kids, it didn't feel well suited for a bar and was a little annoying. Otherwise we had a good time and would return (maybe after the kiddy's bedtimes!)

Came here for a couple of drinks with a friend not my usual place to go but was recommended by my friend. The bar is quirky and has lots of games if you fancy something a bit different.

The Wings are a must! Especially the bbq jd sauce! Games for all ages and drinks for all groups ! Every day there is a offer on

Full of games, nice way to have a chill and some fun. Good for a date as you can get into some competition, or simply get drunk while playing footsal, or arcade game.

Cosy place with several games to play. Good place to go to with friends. You can easily spent an hour in this pub

...it was totally overrun with a swarm of annoying and irritating children. I guess this is an inevitable result of what they've done with the place.
