We often pop to Monsoon for a tasty curry! Service is excellent and always greeted warmly by the owner. Clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Went on 1st Dec , my first time and what a treat it was The staff and service was brilliant. The food was amazing, the toilets were spotless, I could not fault one thing. Looking forward to go again soon.

Chicken jalfrezi five small pieces of chicken, onion bajis were burnt and deep fried absolutelyshocking owner fobbed me off with some BS like I was a tourist who never ate a decent Indian before. Best Indian ever on corner of Springfeild place in new Malden well worth the travel. This place is the worst 100% monsoon of Trollop - only a fool would eat in here staff were rude off key, one decent guy! Owner was more focused on take aways. I asked for a hot drink I was offered hot water I added two of my own tea bags.. it’s freezing outside little do they realise I’m a licensing officer for another council.. only a fool would Oder a sit down meal in here! If you want something better go next door to co op litrally!

Use this restaurant a lot. Food always to a great standard. Staff helpful and if you have questions that the main staff can't answer a member of management will always help.

Slightly 'fast food' atmosphere. Only one waiter acknowledged me when I arrived before the rest of my group. Food was 'good' and atmosphere was 'good', but mire canteen than restaurant. There was one waiter, who might have been the manager or owner, who was genuinely welcoming and friendly. Shame the rest weren't, but will probably return.

Usually good but very small portions of meat this time. Asked for some money back but was refused. Won’t go again even though we’ve been loyal customers for a long time. Was surprised how unhelpful the Manager was.

Our first time was spectacular. Fantastic service, food fresh and hot, Thank you for our 10% discount and free poppadoms to welcome us to the neighbourhood.

Warning - menu hikes. I had a leaflet delivered last week. When I went to order this week, the prices have risen significantly. I wonder why deliver out of date leaflets. Never mind. Set meal no longer £13.95. Now £15.95. A "simple" prawn cocktail up from £3.60 to £4.95. Was told all this just now. I think they are in London or something. But I don't get the model of leaflet drop at price A, but charge at price B - I spotted it - others will.. Going for alternative :)

What a shame that service from one person can have such a negative impact !! Arrived today for lunch (1/10/22) at 12.45. Tall young guy very pleasant and welcoming, short guy with Superdry t-shirt not so, he would not let us sit until he confirmed with kitchen they can offer food, although open, sign in the window says open and website says open ! Finally sat down, young tall guy friendly smiling throughout, while Mr Superdry grunted and we felt he didn’t want us there . Given we were the only people in the restaurant, post covid and start of deep recession he should be happy with a £100 bill. We requested one ice cream at circa 1340 and he asked if it was for takeaway - odd we thought. As I had 3/4 left of a pint we asked for a small wine, Mr Superdry head down didn’t answer straight away, when asked again he said we close at 2pm it was 13.55. Never have I been for lunch and been rushed to get out, having eaten. He then gave us the bill which we had not asked for and stood over us with credit card machine while we looked at the bill. Why bother opening, 2pm closure does not mean you kick your paying guests out at 2pm you wait until they are fully finished.

My self and girlfriend was very disappointed we both ordered chicken tikka masala for main meals and they had no resemblance or flavour to a chicken tikka masala. IV had better microwave Currys from Tesco's .

Best curry around, no competition!

Food was tasty and the menu had a good variety of items on it. Staff were attentive and atmosphere was enjoyable.

Discovered this restaurant a couple of months ago,I have only tried takeaways. The food is fantastic best in the area. Really friendly staff and I will try to eat-in next time.

Monsoon never disappoints, friendly attentive staff and great food. Best curry house in the area, traditional, friendly and good value for money.

Visited on a Wednesday for a family meal. They were offering a banquet fixed price food deal which works well. Good menu and everyone enjoyed their food. Naans are particularly great. Not the fastest from order to food on table but obviously popular with a good number dining which creates a nice atmosphere Thank you, We'll be back.

Went as a group for lunch and the meal was superb .I had the lamb tikka Madras and the meat was truly great

This place is a great place for top quality food, its our 1st choice for a eat in or takeaway. The staff and owner chef are very attentive and friendly.

Hands down the best curry around. Always use monsoon for takeaways and they never disappoint. The wait may be long sometimes but that shows you how popular this place is and it is always worth the wait. I also recommend the banquets on a Wednesday and a Sunday. Value for money wise it is incredible. The staff are also so friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely time in here. Firstly - it was very covid safe. The food is lovely. It is - slightly old fashioned in the best possible way. But everything is done very well. Lovely house wines. The duck curry (i forget the name - its one of the specials - comes with nuts and caramelised onions and nuts and, though quite mild is out of this world. I'd recommend ordering this and sharing with someone having something a bit hotter. Waiting staff are wonderful and attentive. I love it here!

Nice welcome into a less inspiringly decorated dining area. I went when busy and service was not what I would have hoped Kept me waiting to take my drinks order and I had to physically call someone to take my food order. The food was excellent however.

I haven’t eaten in this restaurant for some time as I felt the food quality of food and amount (of meat) had diminished. Ordered a take away tonight and was very pleased the quality of the food was back to the good old days when I visited regularly. Ordered food for four with breads and popadoms and Bill came in at under £40. Bargain!

I moved to Reigate in August last year.. I tried alot of curry houses in the area and most were just average really. Thank god I found Monsoon a few months ago!! The quality and taste of the food is beautiful.. I've probably used them.about 10 times and never been left disappointed.. Really friendly staff to.

We've lived here for seven years now and have used all the takeaways in Reigate. We come back to Monsoon each time as they are great value compared to others and the food is perfect. We order a couple of times per month minimum and its always good. The staff are welcoming and friendly. All in all couldn't fault it.

Extremely disappointing My husband and I ordered a takeaway for collection this evening after reading such good reviews online. However we were left extremely disappointed. - The salmon tikka starter was as dry as cardboard and overcooked. - The chicken curries were dry. - The Naan was burnt. - We were given a chicken Kashmir instead of the chicken korma we ordered. - Most of the food was cold We certainly won't be ordering from here again.

Take out service was very prompt to the time on the online order receipt. Meal deal for four was good value, we got a dinner for three and lunch leftovers for three out of it. Everyone customer facing was masked and taking care.

Rating given as takeaway only during lockdown. The poppadums are fried in lord only knows what - I'm guessing the fat from 3 nights previous as they taste bloody awful and smell even worse. The rest of the food that I had was good.

Very very average indeed Lamb was tough as old boots. Hard The chicken was chewy. Sauce flavourless and salty. Cap it all, delivery was late and food was cold. We have been coming in for some years now. The food is delicious and it’s a more interesting menu than most. Recommend the Lime Rice for a nice change. Takeaway is good too. The staff are a friendly and cheerful bunch too. 😊😊😊😊😊

We first had a meal from The Monsoon when it was an evening takeaway operating from the cafe in Woodhatch around 20 years ago. Now it is a well established and unsurprisingly very popular venue. Abdul and his team consistently serve up excellent food and we look forward to eating at the restaurant again, which is currently being refurbished during lockdown. Some of our favourite dishes are Chicken Nazakat, Jhal Puri, Prawn Pathia and Lamb Chetna-doo - all of which have very distinct flavours.

We have used Monsoon for several years and it is very dad that tonight was the second bad experience. The food arrived 1 hour and 35 mins after order,we expected them to be busy due to covid but it was cold so cold I felt I had to call to tell them as this is the second time(previous time not during lockdown) have had issues with our food. So we will not use them again. Both times they offered to remake order but nothing else and if you have waited as long as we did would you want wait again. So looks like we need to find a new curry house 🙄.

It smells of curry inside :) That's a good thing by the way because that's how it's supposed to smell. Staff are helpful, the service is good, and the food is what you would expect for this price point

Love this restaurant, food amazing, to sit in great, deliveries so fast and even if they are short of drivers boss man comes and deliver. Local and amazing cant recommend any higher

Lovely food but only for take aways at the moment

I used to eat here all the time as a kid, we lived just a few streets away and were always so exited to get dinner at our favorite restaurant. The staff are kind, and the food is delicious!

We had a takeaway here last week, service and speed of delivery was great. It also came piping hot which was lovely, considering many takeaways are lukewarm when they arrive. The food was so delicious, we couldn’t fault it! Really hit the spot as we can’t eat out currently due to COVID-19. So thank you monsoon for a wonderful meal :)

Haven’t been to Monsoon for quite a while. Hubbys birthday so decided to treat yourselves remembering how good this restaurant used to be. Although busy with a large party and takeaways we were not disappointed with the polite staff and excellent food all reasonably priced. Well don Monsoon

50th Celebration, booked table as was advised it can get busy, even on a Friday night. We had great service during while meal, with 10 of us. Manager was excellent, took photos and made the experience brilliant, definitely coming back. Would highly recommend to all!

This has to to be by far the best curry house in the area and I have tried them all. Great service well priced and fantastic food, the chef even comes out to check all is good.

Popped in for a quick meal early on Friday evening with the family. Very dissapointing. There was a tribe of lads shouting and swearing with no regard for other diners. Food was mediocre at best. Bombay aloo was cold, vegetable curry looked like it came from a tin. Other dishes were average. Couldn't wait to leave.

Ordered food for takeaway... out of FOUR dishes ONLY ONE was right! Another disappointment was that the waiter didn’t listen to what we were actually saying! It was such an uncomfortable situation while we were sitting in the restaurant...

It has great service, all the waiters are very nice and most if not all of the time the customer is satisfied with the food. The menue is also very nice with lots of Indian dishes that can't be found anywhere else in Reigate (Woodhach) it's a marvolouse place to eat. To me it's one of the top restaurants out there so come on in and enjoy the food. Also here is a picture of the menue if you don't have one.

Great food and outstanding service all at a reasonable price.

Very warm welcome, drinks to the table quickly, crispy popadoms and lovely chutneys.Curries were perfect. rice was soft and fuffy. Naan breads amazing, onon bhajis were soft inside and crunchy outside, and the keema naan was full of lamb. All in all a great experience and we will be back. Used my Gourmet Society card which made the bill crazy cheap! Only downside is as someone else said it just needs a bit of a facelift. But everything else was so good i can forgive them for that.

Used for the first time this evening for a takeaway due to our local one being closed. Cannot recommend enough! Efficient ordering service, exceptionally quick delivery, delicious food with reasonable prices. We will definitely be using Monsoon moving forward and waving goodbye to our previous choice! Izzy and I flew into Heathrow on Friday and stopped with the folks for a couple of nights so a takeaway from the Monsoon was a no brainer. I do enjoy a Prawn Vindaloo and last Saturday I ate the best Prawn Vindaloo I have consumed since the early 70's.Back in the 70's I was at RAF Cosford undergoing Apprentice Training and we used to pile into the Entry car late on Friday night... I seem to remember it was a Riley 1.5... and head down to an Indian Takeaway in Wolverhampton. I always ordered a Prawn Vindaloo and since those days it has never been matched in flavour until I found Monsoon.Well done Monsoon... can I have the recipe please?

This is my local curry restaurant and never fails to produce consistently good quality food. Went here for my birthday on Friday night with family and had a superb meal and great service. Thanks to Abdul and staff for making the night memorable. Iain

My go to place for takeaway. Good, clean, flavoursome food with friendly staff. Eating in is a rare treat for me, never had a bad meal here.

Came down to Reigate from Rhodesia for the Oxted and Edenbridge Country Show and just had to sample Monsoon's world famous vindaloo; I say world famous because my SA and US family all agree with me.

Delicious food. Plenty of choices. Lovely friendly service. Can get wheelchair in but tight. Can't get wheelchair to toilet. Not a disable toilet but okay for crutches.

Nice food, but not good atmosphere- the place was empty.

Had a couple of takeaways from here recently and the food is quite good. Looking forward now to eating in one night here. The guys inside are polite and and very welcoming.

Good menu, great portions, never had an issue, always had takeouts so never eaten in possibly due to the restaurant not being very enticing to sit in and eat as other restaurants look classier, could do with a makeover but as stated food is worth travelling there to collect. Will be back soon!
