Chilli Hut Takeaway in Reigate and Banstead

Average food, chicken tikka pieces felt a little chewy in one of the mains and the keema meat was very bland and pale in colour (likely dated frozen meat used). £35+ for two mains, one rice, one chips and two naans felt very overpriced. Wouldn't recommend.

Ordered from just east. They took my money and never delivered!!!!!!

My family have just moved around the corner so we thought we'd try the local - we were not disappointed. Good food, friendly service, and the prices were reasonable in comparison with local establishments. The Keema naans, Chicken Balti and Lamb Dhansak were particular highlights - this is our new regular.

The old rusty food with very rude people who sent rotten meat and old Smelly chapatti and still had the guts to shout at the customer. Ordered twice just to have desi taste but disappointed both times! Not recommended at all!!! Please mind they delete their bad comments on Just Eat and other apps!

I've tried this place twice as they are very local to me, but unfortunately I'm not too impressed. The delivery driver and restaurant does not read delivery note's and on both occasions have disrupted the house by ringing the door bell. The restaurant also do not read nutritional infomation that I provided when booking. The food is very bland and I do believe I have just received the most bland sag aloo of my life. Will I return? No.

Woww, just ordered from this restaurant and not only was the delivery very quick, but the food exceeded my expectations, the flavours were so delicious and really good portion size. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Coming from the Netherlands, and not having any expectations about Indian food. I had the best experience with Chili Hut in December, their food was amazing and it was easy to tell te quality of the ingredients. They’re not stingy, and the portions are big.

Always have a great service and never had a concern for the quality of the standard of food.

Please don’t waste your time and money! DONT’T ORDER FEOM HERE! Worst food I’ve ever tried my whole life! The biryani was tasteless and not fresh! It was literally over boiled rice with few pieces of chicken and yellow colour for £10! Day light theft! I called to ask if they send the wrong food by accident and the owner was so rude and unprofessional! I couldn’t even speak as he kept talking over me saying non sense and blaming it on just eat as if they cooked the food! We ordered few other bits but the portions were very small, tasteless and too much oil! The worst food ever and horrible customer service! First and last time ordering from here!

I can't fault this place at all! Always so polite when they call and double check the order. The beef patties are so juicy and always hot and fresh 😋 I will definitely be back again!

Ordered at 8.45, advised 30mins for delivery, chased at 9.50 as nothing to be told they’d found the order, they’d not even started it!! Asked for a refund as too late, can’t do as food was somehow now ready?! Rocky I have followed you loyally for a decade plus, great food but your customer service on my last THREE orders was wrong. Tonight I spoke to a young guy, quite rude and curt, when I asked if you were there his tone changed funnily enough, but he advised me you worked Fri, Sat & Sun now, rather odd that you then knocked on my door to deliver my food after being kept waiting for 90mins 😡🤬. Lost a loyal client and deserve a one star review I’m afraid, plenty of competition that would be grateful of my business

The best Indian takeaway. I would never order from anywhere else. The prawn passanda is my favourite! The owners are so friendly too. Would definitely recommend.

Best Indian takeaway in redhill for sure . Naans are super big in size and flavoursome. Only downside is food sometimes takes a while but that’s it.

Everything was bang on would order again. All with the exception of the puri which I thought was more of a plain flat bread. Other than though was top nosh!

i think the negative reviews here are fake from competitors around the area . why? because the staff here are always friendly, even on extremely busy days, sometimes my order comes an hour late but they inform in advance and i undertand as they are a small business. food is always hot and tasty and even if I have a little complaint they apolgosie and send another or give me discount for next order. seriously ignore the fake 1 star reviews and give this place a try. you won’t regret

A cheap look place, food cooked with cheapest meat and spices, A health risk. Tried the food on 3 occasions, burnt tandoori chicken with half cooked naan bread , rest was the same .

I’m really surprised to see the bad reviews on here ! I’ve lived in Merstham for 2 years now and it took me 6 months to find a decent delivery Indian , since I found this one I’ve used it ever since , probably once a week . I’ve always had a decent delivery from here , it’s always been hot and decent quality , normally gets delivered when they say it will and the staff are always very polite and friendly ! Ordered from here having recently moved into the area, was on time but that was when the plus side stopped. The lamb was chewy little balls of meat in amongst red rice which was obviously chilli all over. Considering my dish was not supposed to be spicy I was confused. There was no taste it was bland except for chillies burning so I got the impression the food is that bad they thought they would cover in chilli instead. Whole order in bin! Wont order again

We have ordered food many times before however this time it was horrible. Firstly the food was cold, the chicken in the korma was pink and not cooked, the sag aloo tasted like nothing and the naan bread was dry and hard to chew as though it had been heated over various times. Our tikka was missing its sauce and our peanut butter chicken was dipped in peantbutter not cooked with it. Disappointed

Thought we’d give this a try as good to ring the changes...big mistake! Called at 7pm to put in a delivery order, nothing over the top, a chicken dhansak, vindaloo, chicken masala and korma for kids and a couple of side orders, told it would be 50 minutes ( fine, it’s Friday night was expecting a bit of a wait ) over an hour later gave the restaurant a call to see if it’s on its way, we were told it was ( again fair enough, they were busy so would put up with a bit longer of a wait ). An hour and a half after we put the order in, still no sign, called back up and the receptionist was on the phone to the driver who was shouting down the phone that they’d given the wrong postcode. Was still told it’s on it’s way...nearly two hours later the food arrived, by now we weren’t just hungry but fuming. To top it off it was a woman who delivered it ( who I’m convinced was the lady that answered the phone ) who not only complained that our house was outside the delivery area ( It’s an RH2 postcode that they clearly advertise as within their delivery area) but had the audacity to have an attitude when I told her how unacceptable their service was. How this takeaway has got 4.7 I honestly do not know, if the food had been top notch I would have thought twice about posting on here but the chicken is processed crap and the Naan breads were doughy and tasteless. Very mediocre food and disgusting staff attitude.

Half portions - literally have the take away container Mushroom bhaji was just fried mushrooms The naan bread was raw King Prawn Puri with the smallest prawns I've ever seen Late arriving. An utter disappointment. Steer clear, I can't believe the other reviews. No way I would eat from here again.

We ordered 2 chicken chilli masalas, 1 pilau rice, 1 mushroom bhaji and 1 peshwari naan.. where do I start with this order.. - We were told it would take 25 mins to arrive, it took 45 mins. - The chicken curry containers were 1/2 full and they must have only used 1 small chicken breast in each as the chicken pieces in the curries were tiny - The peshwari naan was raw - The mushroom bhaji was just fried sweaty mushroom and onions.. there was no seasoning whatsoever and they were swimming in grease The only part of the order which was how it should be was the pilau rice. This is our first time ordering from here and it will definitely be the last time.. avoid at all costs if you want a proper Indian take away and if you want to get what you paid for!

We love Chilli Hut. Anyone who had ever been lucky enough to come to us for curry had also loved Chilli Hut. It is the only one we ever use, unless they are closed! Try it. The sag paneer, tikka masala vindaloo and prawn pathia (with extra garlic and chilli) are family favourites. We always order enough for leftovers, it’s really, really worth it! They are happy to accommodate any dietary needs and have often cooked great food for my vegan bestie. The house special Peanut butter paneer makes an absolutely amazing breakfast too! Go on, you won’t be disappointed! Expect to wait a while as everything is cooked fresh by this lovely family.

I've never used Chilli Hut before as im from bromley and just visiting a friend. Having read the reviews I decided to book online but then thought id call. A helpful lady took my order samosa, puree, then was advised lamb tikka biryani. Delivery was very quick and nice lady. Starters were fine but the lamb was over cooked and cut into small strips when i was expecting chunks from the skewer. Not sure if its chunks the cut into strips to reheat. Ive had chicken tikka jalfrezi from another restaurant and that was cut in strips but thats in a sauce. Anyway i called and explained but it seemed they werent interested hence me writing this on a Saturday night. Oh and to top it off they overcharged me.

Chili Hut always deliver amazing curry. They can make pretty much anything Vegan upon request and it tastes exactly the same! I could never find a curry house that makes a Vegan Tikka Massala until I asked Chili Hut. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating - nothing is too much trouble. They are now our favourite Indian Takeaway.

Hands down the best curry around! Friendly staff and they don't mind tweaking your order to add or remove spice to dishes. Recently moved from Redhill to Tandridge and it beats the Indian takeaways on offer here, so we order and collect - it's always worth the drive! Give it a go, you won't be disppointed.

I had left a review on Just Eat immediately after our order and the restaurant has labelled it unfair and untrue. I think this is a classic case where restaurants defend when their service goes horribly wrong. We were just plain unlucky as the food was just not up to the mark. Please don't tell me what a Kebab should taste like or what's in chicken tikka roll. My Just eat order history will give you the view of how well I know my food so lets not go there. I will just not be willing to try you'll again now as you have accused me of leaving unfair comment when in reality it was just honest feedback for others to read before ordering. Like I said we were just unlucky to have received that service on that day.

We have just moved into the area & this takeaway is on our doorstep! I’m very fussy about food & love to cook myself. Having seen the glowing reviews was s slightly concerned about if genuine.I can assure anyone who is considering eating from here that they are highly skilled chefs who take huge pride in the flavours & the meat that they source. I had a lamb dish & my partner had chicken korma. The meat was beautifully tender & perfectly cooked. Onion Bhaji’s were freshly cooked & grease free, popadoms light crisp & fresh. Pashwari nan, pilla rice all for under £20 I used to live in Banstead & eat at the curry centre that was excellent! This was as good if not better for half the price. Keep up the high standards. The BEST Indian takeaway for miles! Have been using here since we moved local after trying a lot of other substandard establishments! Quality is always on point no matter when you order! Service is 10/10 as well!

We love curry. I cook a mean curry... We have been using Chilli Hut for a few months now, I think about their chicken tikka masala vindaloo all the time. Whilst I acknowledge this is not a traditional Indian dish, it is blooming amazing. Naga, Dhansak & Dhall dishes are great. Very generous portions served. The paneer dishes are fantastic, they use actual paneer not cheddar. Staff are lovely too. What more can I say? Try it!!!
