I had the best scrambled egg with avocado on toast I’ve ever had, absolutely delicious. The place is dog friendly too, loved it.

Relaxed place to meet up with young kids. Nice decor. Coffee ok, espresso could be better. Kids enjoyed the hot chocolate. Bacon sandwich was ok. Sausages could have been more flavoursome. Crayons and paper perfect for kids.

Came here as a family of six with a dog. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had the soup of the day “Leek and Sweet Potato”, All in One Ciabatta, Bacon Ciabatta, Halloumi & Avocado Bagel, Scrambled Egg on Sourdough and Ham & Cheese Sourdough Toastie. The food was absolutely lush! Cooked and flavoured to perfection. The feel of place is relaxing, welcoming and comfortable. For six of us to eat and all have a drink, it was less than £10 a person. A “must visit” when in Newquay!

Five of us visited for breakfast on a very wet Sunday but we were so glad we made the effort. All of us enjoyed our meals very much. The food was good quality and beautifully presented and the coffees excellent. Can’t fault the service either. Highly recommended.

Good food. Terribly terribly slow Really nice looking menu so we stopped for brunch today. Early on it was clear they were short staffed and already out of some ingredients. No system in place to get the orders to the right tables and they were bringing out one meal to each table rather than a whole table at once. Everyone was super confused and hungry/ thirsty! Then they stopped putting all the right fillings into things - one sandwich made correctly, the same one to the same table missing the meat as they’d run out. When we queried our drinks we were told someone else must have had them - even though we’d stopped the waitress carrying one of them to check if it was ours. In the end the blitz spirit started to kick in amongst the tables but really on a Sunday in August it shouldn’t have been necessary. Staff were polite enough and apologised for the waits but we just wanted them to be better organised!

THIS IS TERRIBLE. Do NOT come here. Staff are lazy rude and stand around. Waited way over 40 minutes for one plate then another 10 minutes for another two and then guess what… they forgot a whole person’s order. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete joke. Staff just say that “the chef is still learning the menu” well oh dear, we’re paying customers and the food wasn’t even that good after an hour waiting around. By looking at google reviews this seems to be a problem for a year now they are obviously not trying to work on this. Not even worth the time or day. Seriously just walk straight past this place, take my advice.

Looks like a newly opened cafe, really cute decor. The staff went above and beyond and were super friendly. The halloumi, avocado bagel was delicious, as were the smoothie bowls! Great tasting coffee too. Also dog friendly!

ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! I don’t know how you could possibly say anything negative about this place! The staff are incredibly lovely, friendly and smiley & the breakfast was TOP TIER! we got the Mix fry up and the spicy Mexican beans, both of of us absolutely loved! Fantastic menu choices and fantastic atmosphere, 12/10 I would recommend coming to anyone who is visiting Newquay! ❤️

I love The Mix. The coffee is great and their homemade cakes are delicious, making it hard to have just one (I normally have two lol). The staff are incredibly quick and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by!

What an amazing restaurant/bar in the heart of Newquay town centre it caters for all, from lunch to cocktails to cakes and hot drinks. I highly recommend a visit to mix, we were not disappointed, the service was great it was dog friendly and had a warning atmosphere, we even had an ice cream as we left. Somewhere I shall be visiting regularly, wheelchair accessible. Also offers events…so will be looking at booking a birthday and baby shower there in upcoming months. My kids love the bubble tea :) A must to visit if in Newquay town!!!

Food was delicious. Atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Whenever we visit Newquay Mix is the first place we head for. Highly recommended. We will be back in Feb!

We stopped here for breakfast before heading to the beach. The veggie breakfast was really good and the kids enjoyed their cheese toasties. They have an extensive drinks menu including bubble tea.
