We loved this noodle bar. Great service, nice decor and, most importantly, excellent food. I had one of the best Pad Thai’s I’ve had in a long time and my three family members loved their dishes as well. We don’t get to Bromley very often nowadays but the next time we do (scheduled for Jan 2024) we will definitely be back here for lunch!

I ordered the chicken satay, the chicken was very well cooked and the rice was nice as well, the sauce had many large pieces of peanuts though which made the texture of the dish a bit unappetizing. My partner ordered vegetable noodles, which they stated were not as nice as they were expecting. Would go again for the food though, considering the cost of restaurants around orpington, it's fairly well priced for main dishes, but sides seemed a little steep. My main problem comes with the service. I am usually a person who doesn't mind if a waiter isn't all smiles and happiness, as I understand the nature of their job. But our waiter was truly miserable, rude, and straight up looked unbothered. when our food was finally delivered (after nearly an hours wait), she put it on the table and walked away with an uncaring, dismissive attitude. I am only 15, so when I walk into restaurants people usually wonder why I'm on my own, which can lead to some distasteful experiences of rude waiters (as I look quite young), but this was like no other. My partner has a few allergies, so when they wanted to order a tea I asked her if it had citric acid or fruit. To this, she then said she's find out and left, but she never came back to tell us if it did. Finally, when it came time to tip, my partner left a 10 pound note down with the money for the bill. When the lady came to pick it up she stated at it then at us blankly and in the most uncaring attitude I've ever heard muttered a thank you and left with it, I didn't even have time to ask her for change. (My partner wanted to tip £5 but only had a £10 note)

Another great meal from Miso. Can’t fault this restaurant for food quality, portion size and value for money.

Been going there for 3 and a half years now. Good portion size and friendly staff. Asked for something that’s not on the menu and was ordered without hesitation.

I've been a customer for many years, but I think today was my last visit. The service is surly and weirdly unfriendly. You can't hold on to a menu, they insist on taking them back. Spider Crab, which used to be a great, generous and good value starter is now tiny and £10. A quarter duck with pancake is still good, but has shot up in price from £8-9 to £14. I didn't stay for main course. This restaurant needs a shake up - they need to refresh the menu, drop the prices back to reasonable levels and work on their friendliness.

The service was poor, there were at least 6 people in crash helmets at the bar waiting for delivery orders. The food did come quickly, but was of a very poor standard - I'd say it was the worst pad Thai I have ever eaten a bit of. I didn't eat a lot of it and when they collected the 3/4 full plate, I said it wasn't very nice. The waitress said she would tell the manager - I couldn't hang around for an answer as I cinema tickets booked!! Had to fill up on popcorn!

Never going back there again, dreadful experience and we wasted £42. At times there were 8 delivery drivers waiting for take-aways and the kitchens were very busy sorting out the take-aways, people waiting for meals in the restaurant are a second priority. Waited an hour for duck and pancakes, then when the two main courses and one side dish arrived they all turned up at different times. The side came so late that we took it home as it arrived as we were putting our coats on. We noticed two guys sitting opposite us and one had finished his meal before his friend had got his. Best stay away from here. They should just make it a take-away only restaurant.

prices to high and over charging for no reason ,instead of noodles lots of cheap stuff added .to save money ...poor quality food

Am so sad as we have just wasted £50 on the worst meal of my life! We waited over an hour for our main course whist we watched takeaway after takeaway go out of the door! They couldn’t of cared less. Also when I went through the menu with the waiter, I pointed to a rice main for 2 of us with extra noodles as a side, the mains came with noodles and so 3 lots of noodles, common sense would have triggered that there was an error, however after waiting an hour couldn’t wait another hour for them to cook the rice! Again they were not bothered! Really disappointed.

Ive just ordered the king prawn salad with rice and its out of this world!!! Very fresh and tasty and came in under 30 mins.

I go to miso quite a lot just for some ribs or some chicken , which is always delicious. Tonight I decided to get a portion of seaweed . Firstly, I think £4.95 for a portion is a little bit steep, however, when I opened the carton it was a 3rd full , and when I tasted it (after a 7 minute journey home) it tasted stale. Not their usual standard .

Decided to eat at Miso Orpington meal for a birthday treat as have been here prior to lockdown. So disappointed with the portion sizes. My vegetable Singapore noodles arrived with a poor show of actual veg, so, basically a portion of noodles. My partners duck & pancakes arrived warm, with a measly amount of sauce and his 'miso special' was really not so special. I would have complained but knew it would upset my partners day. Will not be going back again.

Take-away review: in short, I would NOT have Take-away from here again. The dumplings were nice but nothing special and only three in a portion. The rice was fine and vegetables fresh but not much flavour and a little greasy. The noodles were supposed to be wok fried but were stodgy and greasy without much flavour and not that many vegetables. Also came with single use plastic cutlery. A complimentary bag of prawn crackers was a misguided addition as we ordered all vegetarian dishes, you would think it's probably because we are veggie, prawn crackers are not suitable for vegetarians! Gets the extra star for having a five star hygiene rating.

We have used this chain many times over the years and always enjoyed it. So we went for a takeaway and it was at best disappointing. The food took ages to arrive and was lukewarm when it did. Two items from the order were missing and bits of the seafood were tough as an old boot and some of the meat so fatty as to be inedible. We spent a lot of money for not a lot of food so next time think we will go somewhere else.

This is my nearest Miso place from my house and I have always come here for mostly lunch and sometimes dinner.( I sometimes go to the Bromley one as well). The portions are enormous that I sometimes couldn't finish it and I had to take it home. The service was very quick and most staff are very friendly once you walked through the door. It is usually not that busy because of lockdown at the moment so it was all quiet and peaceful. I really love chinese food and will continue to keep on visiting again. Well done Miso!!!

S-oy! (U)don’t miso out on (n)oodles of soba fun! Wok in on fryday, (gar)lic your lips and watch the staff rice to the occasion! Before you know it, there won’t be mushroom left in your tummy - you might even have to be spring rolled out

I ordered some rice and noodle dishes to share with friends and it was beyond what I expected. Very flavoursome and is a must to visit this noodle bar. Service was actually very good and I felt very comfortable eating here.

Was looking forward to this sooo much for so long. Was a great big disappointment.Ordered with uber eats literally took ten mintues from place of ordering to arriving!!!! Even though I'd schedule a delivery for drop off an hour late than arrival time. The veg chilli dish tasted like salsa sauce, and not even any signs of chilli! The other dish was supposed to of had a mushroom and garlic sauce, mushrooms were definitely there same about the garlic taste being non existent.Made throw up literally!!!!

Definitivamente disfruté de mi velada aquí y recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que quiera una agradable excursión familiar.

Great Asian food and excellent Service . Been here many times and it never let you down. The menu selection is varied and the quality of food is good.

Cenamos en Miso Noodlebar, Orpington el 31 de agosto y nos hicieron más de 45 minutos para el servicio y cuando finalmente llegó la comida, fue un trabajo rápido al wok frito con pato frío con panqueques fríos para acompañarlo. Cuando señalamos la larga espera, el gerente se acercó y descaradamente dijo que podemos cancelar el pedido y salir porque el personal está ocupado. ! No hubo disculpas ni cortesía del gerente. ¡Inaceptable! ! Estoy boicoteando este lugar.

Fui aquí ayer con el plan de comer fuera. Nos sentamos super rápido, pedí arroz frito con huevo para los niños y llegó de inmediato. Pero pedimos pedir nuestra comida y tomó un tiempo, estaban ocupados. La comida era lo suficientemente decente. Viaje rápido de entrada y salida, pero no más que servicio al cliente.

Ordered over the phone. Was told pickup will be available at 9pm. I arrived at 9pm and didn’t receive my food until 9:41pm. I spent almost 3/4 of an hour waiting for my order. Absolutely disappointing.

we have not been out to a restaurant for ages due to the pandemic and we really needed this! The food was delicious . We especially enjoyed the chicken katsu curry and salt and pepper squid.

Quería apoyar a mis lugareños durante el encierro. Pero cuando sus precios sean más altos en Deliveroo que para comer en casa y luego bajen las porciones en Dim Sum (3 piezas ahora en lugar de 4) iré a otra parte.

Great menu choice, fried noodles, dim sum, soup noodles and so much more. Hot food served up really quickly, and loads of it!

We came here Saturday evening after a hard day at work , service here was definitely with a smile . It was a lovely atmosphere and modern decor . The menu choice was varied and good vegetarian choice , I had the cod which was delightful and my husband had the chicken satay which he demolished! The waitresses and waiters were all very polite and respectful they were also helpful and attentive. Would recommend for good food and nice vibe ! We will be back soon ! Thank you .

Had lunch here today and was very impressed, both myself and my son were impressed with the quality of the food and the generous portions. Service was quick and friendly - very much Recommended.

The choice and quality of food is great, as is the service as well, although when busy at night times, you can sometimes struggle to catch the eye of staff, if you want something more, or if you want to settle your bill. Service is extremely quick, but it can peter off after you've initially been served.

Me dieron un tiempo, me dijeron que se había ido, pero cuando esperamos que llegue, nos dijeron que estaban tratando de encontrar otro conductor. Cuando finalmente llegó, luchó por encontrar pollo en los fideos. ¡Debería haber cumplido con la regla para nunca tener una comida para llevar un lunes!

Went in for dinner with my wife, got seated immediately, order taken and food served within 20 minutes.I had the king prawn and chicken satay and my wife the Crispy smoked shredded chicken, portion sizes are very generous and the food was cooked very well, always a great option for a quick cheap meal full of flavour.

We love this place...the food is always excellent quality & served in good time.Our only gripe is the extremely uncomfortable seats...hard benches with no backs to them & no cushions to make them a bit softer. This is the reason a lot of my friends won't eat here, so it's something the management really need to address urgently.

Partner and I been thinking about going in for a while and really glad we finally did. Massive portions and really tasty. Would visit again.

I visit Miso with my friends over the weekend. We arrived at a busy time of the evening. However, we were welcome by friendly staff and a quite fast service. The food was fresh and tasty, we really enjoy our dinner and the atmosphere. We definitely recommend MISO.

The food is very fresh and tasty. The noodle dishes are very generous and enjoyable, just one noodle dish is enough for a reasonable meal but I would not go without having the chile prawns which are fantastic. I highly recommend a visit to MISO.

Came with the family for a post Christmas meal. We were welcomed warmly and seated swiftly. Orders were brought over very punctually. Service was A* food very nice, we thoroughly enjoyed. We weren’t rushed at all and a generally nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Very popular restaurant, Very friendly and helpful staff, big portions and tasty food. Good variety of meals and brilliant for both a takeaway and to eat in.

We were in Orpington visiting family when I was recomended by some friends to eat at miso. We have never been here before so menu items were new to us. When asking the waitress for help on the dishes she was very helpful and really knew a lot about each dish that I asked about.

We were visiting someone in hospital so got a takeaway instead of eating in (we normally go to Beckenham or Bromley not Orpington) but were disappointed with the food quality as there were less meaty bits in the noodle dish and the beef was chewy. As it was the same price as eating in I would suggest that they are not a good place to get a takeaway from.

One of the best places in Orpington! Food portions are huge and price is perfect for every wallet. Staff very friendly, always there to help, always good atmosphere inside. Their menu is very rich in different type of rice, from steam rice to their huge special fried rice, wok fried

My wife and two young children ate here about 5 weeks ago, the first day of the summer holidays. Great food and decent portions, but as our 1 yr-old and 3 yr-old lack finesse with their table etiquette, we had to endure the manager telling us "it isn't a home, it's a restaurant" and being rude to us in front of our children. Obviously this man made the mistake of assuming the worst in people. As teachers, my wife and I are always telling our students to leave our classrooms in as good a state or better than when they entered. So, similarly, we scour the floor for bits that our kids have dropped when we go out. The only thing I can think of is that our 3 yr-old dropped a foam wrapping on the floor, such as that you wrap a melon in. Nevertheless, his reaction was rather extreme. I suggested to him that perhaps he should get rid of the highchairs to discourage families from coming here. Or just speak to them the way he did to us. I sensed he knew he'd messed up, as shortly before leaving he came over and shoe-horned in some comment about 'health & safety'. Never, ever again. A humiliating experience for us and our children.

Miso is a no nonsense noodle bar that offers a large variety of pan asian dishes at affordable prices. Situated in the middle of Orpington high street, this branch of the chain, is spacious, and the service is friendly and fast. The soup noodle dishes are delicious. It is also worth trying the specials and the dim sum.

Takeaway green Thai curry is fookin delicious. Yes it’s ‘ever so slightly’ more expensive than elsewhere, and they haven’t got the extras quite right - but this is absolutely superb.

Came for lunch today and after waiting over 45 minutes to be served our main dishes, I was given an assortment of boiled bland vegetables on rice. When the manager asked why I had left my plate full I commented that it was inedible. The manager then said that vegetarians don't eat food with taste anyway so it didn't matter.

Service is always fantastic and the food is great too. My boyfriend and I visit regularly and always opt for dim sum. The potions are huge and v.tasty. Much better than Wagamama!

We had a lovely meal here. The food was tasty and the portions large. I particularly liked the Thai Green Curry. We also had some starters. A bottle of beer was £4.50. The staff were friendly and quick. Would definitely go back.

My first time in a Miso. They had the window/side open which means we were able to sit in the sun. Was lovely food and I was really impressed, portion sizes were great and we were happy with the price. Staff very friendly as well. We had vegans in our party and they had plenty of choice. I had the satay chicken with rice which was lovely.

Came here as we fancied some noodles and didnt want to get a delivery. Walked in greeted by friendly staff. Food was sooooo good :) Only criticism was staff a but too full on constant asking if we are ready to order.

Went there last week, and a sort of mixed bag. First of all, the waitress was enthusiastic and new, and quite charming, even if she dropped the tea.

Went with a couple of friends, our first time at Miso in Orpington and I must say, I’m glad we tried it. We had katsu chicken curry which was amazing and really good portion size and a friend had a noodle dish which they gladly amended to suit her dietary requirements (that was also massive). All had a side as well - the dumplings are divine. It was quite busy but it was a Friday night. Glad to say I’ll be going again and probably seeing what the takeout is like too.

Always great food ,I've been there couple of times I always enjoy I have duck and nudels and pepercorn and also duck and nudles soup(i love duck)this is the only duck they I've try and enjoy that much...the thing is I've used to be local but I moved to north London and is quaite far...can I say compliments to the chef!!Also it's not very expensive the prices are reasonable,quaite affordable for everyone .

Firstly, while one can appreciate modern minimalism, the low rectangular polished solid wooden benches and tables could be at the limit of comfort for some.

My sister work for this Miso restaurant, I like soup noodle, so she said come and have supper at my restaurant, so we went, I look at the menu and order a seafood soup noodle, I saw they also do dim sum on the menu so I order that as well, it was delicious and I enjoy it there

Can not fault this place. Been many times. Great food . Fast service. Great atmosphere. Good value and very friendly.

Never again!!!! Restaurant is chaos, waiters seems flustered not knowing how to do their job. Food came out like was given to your pet, no flavour and can taste MSG.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and am never disappointed. The food is always hot and presented well and a good size portion. It is served very prompt too no matter how busy the restaurant is. I can recommend sweet & sour chicken or katsu curry and the mixed fresh juice drink (apple, carrot & orange). The staff are very accommodating and will provide water free of charge. There is no service charge so it's given at your discretion. Price for a main course + rice averages around £8. The only downside is the wooden bench seating which can be uncomfortable if you're seated for long but don't let it put you off the tasty hot food and excellent service!

Been here for one meal in the restaurant, two takeaways I've collected and one delivery via Deliveroo (extra cost vs collecting yourself).

Popped in when passing through Orpington. Had Chicken Bento box accompanied by Japanese tea: stir fry chicken in ginger & spring onion, rice, three prawn gyoza (dumplings) two small spring rolls & salad. a complete meal, and all items delicious. Believe part of a small chain, and will deinitely look out for one nearer home. I was on my own (aaaah) but families with children, couples and student aged groups sprinkled around.

Keep going back for take always as always really busy at week-ends. The staff are really nice, good selection of dishes and good value. The food is really tasty, would recommend it.

Just two of us, I came here with my son for a quick dinner. We each ordered one of the one-dish meals, I had Singapore noodles, nothing complicated. We waited around 30minutes (which, in itself is unacceptable) for one of the dishes to arrive!And this is the main point...

I've eaten in and taken away from here, the food is always good and it's always quick - I like to takeaway as it's delicious and about the same money as a typical Chinese - but restaurant quality food

Went for pre-cinema meal. Wrong meal delivered twice. My wife's meal was in tasteless broth (i.e. warm water!) In the end left before my meal was ready as no time left to eat it. No offer of discount or apology. Body language of staff suggested it was our fault even though waitress with poor English repeated our order several times and used the numbers from the menu. Won't go again. Shame as previous occupant of site was always good.

Popped in here as we were in the area and fancied a noodle meal. We were quickly shown to a table, the drinks arrived quickly, the order was taken quickly and the food arrived quickly. When we finished the plates were cleared quickly. Talk about fast food!!!!

Great food with fast service. Brilliant staff. Nice and relax atmosphere. Plenty of parking close by and often you do get Chinese and Japanese people in as customers which is a good sign. Would recommend this to all.

Visited here twice recently . It's a newish restaurant and is always very busy so we thought we would give it a try and we were glad we did . The menu has a great choice of dishes , Prices are very reasonable and the food Shen it arrived was excellent , the portion sizes were of a good size so no starters really needed . The service was quick and efficient and if you are unable to finish your meal you can have a doggy Bag to take with you . We enjoyed it so much we visited again few days later with friends who were also very impressed. Highly recommended
