We came to Miola, Holmes Chapel for a themed Caribbean evening. We were very impressed with the food and the attentiveness of staff. The meal was imaginative, delicious and amazing portions. Thankfully we came in very hungry and definitely left full and satisfied 😋 The waiting on staff were fabulous too and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Came to a themed Caribbean evening and it was fabulous! Food was amazing and catered for me being vegetarian also. In fact so much food we waddled out! We couldn’t get anywhere near finishing it. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Look forward to another one!

Nice venue in a prime position. I am a regular here. Unfortunately this visit was not the best of experiences. Stale scones and cakes and cold coffee. My friend’s tea was very very weak. It’s very overpriced for what you get. Cappuccino for instance is served in small cups, Was prepared to pay that bit extra to support a local business but not anymore.

Well the Moroccan theme was another excellent night. As always, we, and our friends, enjoyed the food and atmosphere immensely. Louise, Carl and the staff have an uncanny knack of getting they’re finger on the pulse with these theme nights, every one we’ve been to have been superb.

We have attended several of these themed nights and they have all been lovely. We had a lovely night out with our friends. We love Miola and they deserve recognition for the effort they put in to these events. Attentive staff. Tasty food and that ever present special atmosphere. We love coming to these nights. Highly recommended.

Food has got expensive, on the website states paninis £7.75, when the actual price in the cafe is over £10. We had 2 paninis and a pot of tea, the bill came to over £27. We use the cafe on a regular basis, but will be giving it a miss from now.

The most appalling 'meal' and service that I have ever been subjected to. We ordered steak and ale pie and this was brought out to us and placed on our table and described as a pie. However, there was absolutely no pastry, just a bit of gravy in a dish. When I called the waiter back he said 'to be honest, we've ran out of pastry' - are these people for real? To add insult to injury, the manager actually tried to charge us for the pies we never received!!!! Shambolic and not for the first time, but definitely for the last. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!!!!

This place has a vast amount of things for children to play on. However don’t expect to get food quick- they have two cage areas but one is never open and the other has a constant huge queue because the staff take forever! Even if you want drinks you have to queue with the food and last time we queued for 25 minutes! Ridiculous when you have children to supervise and feee!
