The drinks, the service and meal for Bottomless Brunch were amazing. Alannah, our server, was so accommodating, she couldn't do enough for us. Really friendly and made the occasion very special.

Great lunchtime break, lovely food

Lunchtime sandwich was OK, just. Needed a proper salad not just some weeds thrown on the side. Senior fish & chips was very small and on the cold side of warm. Staff asked if things were OK before we'd even taken a bite. Atmosphere was akin to a nursing home diner crossed with a nursey. There's unmatched chairs at each table and peculiar pictures and images on the very dark walls. It's not improved since I was last here 7 years ago. It filled a hole.

Really lovely welcome tonight, informed as soon as we went in that there was a problem with the heating, it wasn’t cold in there but we were fully informed about the heating and given the option to not stay, we decided to stay and the service was fantastic, staff very attentive always checking if our food and everything was ok 5 stars ⭐️ for service and communication

The staff were wonderful, and the food was acceptable. The atmosphere could have been warmer, but overall it was a lovely experience. I would highly recommend it. It's a very typical Greene King pub.

The food was was great and staff were friendly but the pub was really cold with many customers sat in coats. Would have stayed longer if it was warmer. Can’t understand why the heating was not on in early February!

Cameto the brock tonight for my son’s birthday, there was 18 of us and they dealt with our order quickly and efficiently, all the food came out correct and prompt. I had the Sunday roast and it was lovely the roast potatoes are amazing. Staff are all friendly and welcoming too

Just way too much ice in a glass of coke. I'm not a big fan of places that fill your glass with ice. And call in a pint of coke.

Meal was nice. Unfortunately let down by not allowing me to have mixed grill due to no steak. Disappointed that I had driven from Stockport to not have the meal I wanted. Unfortunately gave 1 star for service due to the no steak which for a pub restaurant is pretty bad.

I've been in over xmas after its revamp. The atmosphere is still dull, and the beer is expensive and tastes very weak. But the place itself looks better. I did notice some shoddy decorating and wooden panels hanging off in the men's toilet,

On Christmas day my wife and self experienced Christmas Dinner at the recently refurbished Brocklehurst Arms in Macclesfield. Our experience was nothing short of excellent. The most enjoyable selected Christmas fayre was provided in a timely manner and presentation was hard to fault. Staff service was first class, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and our needs were well catered for. A real Christmas treat for us both and we thoroughly recommend this establishment as a good value, budget venue for food and drink.

Just been for Xmas dinner today. I must say I was really appreciative of the quality of the service, food & ambience. Everything was laid on for a fabulous 4 course meal which was excellent value for money. Made my Christmas day for sure.

Visit here every week since we moved to the area. The food is consistently good, there is a varied menu and the staff are always cheerful, friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to eat and have a drink.

We were served quickly and the young girl behind the bar was lovely and happy in her work lovely conversations with her . We ordered food and it came quickly and was lovely and hot . The dark haired lady asked how was the food and waiting for us to reply which was great as in some places they walk off and don’t wait for you to reply . We always have amazing food and service at the Brocklehurst and we will always try to pop in when we can . The staff and managers are all lovely always acknowledge us which we love . Some of the bar staff already know which bottle of wine we like to share which shows they look after their regular customers !

We went for a team christmas lunch from work (11 people). Lovely atmosphere, great service and we were all really impressed with the food. Despite being huge portions, it was clean plates all round. We had the festive menu and everyone enjoyed their choices. Great value for money and we'd definitely come again.

Dinner & Dance having known Tracy from the Ladybrook ad we set up the dementia group together 5 years ago… we came to the Dolly Parton afternoon and as always we were not disappointed… a group of 41 of us .. food beautiful such value for money- Tracy amazing 🤩 and her team were brilliant so kind and patient with our group!! I went in for a meal with my family and had a really pleasant experience throughout. I ordered a burger which was served quickly and tasted amazing. The hosting was brilliant with a special shout out to Lara who my an extra special effort throughout the whole night. She made us feel very welcome and was very attentive and friendly ! Can't recommend enough please give the pub ago.

I’ve gone here a few times in the past week and I love it!! the pub has a lovely atmosphere to walk into after a walk with my dog, who then gets a load of attention off all of the staff. Food is a fair price for the good quality that it is and has a nice selection of drinks to choose from. Will definitely be coming back!!

What a lovely meal. Myself & my friend booked from the Christmas Fayre menue and the food was delicious. We arrived for 5pm and the table had been set beautifully and was all Christmasey. The food was lovely and Lara, our waitress was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. Myself and friend throughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.

27/10/2024 Ive just eaten a lovely breakfast with my son. What can I say…a massive improvement since I last visited, the food was excellent, really hot to the table which I love…I had the Katsu with chicken…one of my favourites. My daughter who is 14…has expensive taste…steak…she loved the mash but felt the portion is a little small…she loves the gravy here…we have to drive here to get it…also special mention to the staff…service excellent as usual…the pie was great value and tasty…well done all!

I love the refurb, really looks good and it's great that they've revamped the outdoor space. This is a Greene King pub so food is reasonably priced and a decent standard. Never had a problem with service, everyone very friendly. We like to come here.

Busy because football was on, bar was understaffed and staff tried very hard but long waits to get drinks, however a young man called Luka was brilliant at service throughout the restaurant he made a huge difference to our visit. Very attentive even though he was rushed off his feet

Ideal place to go for decent traditional pub grub, a few pints and a game of pool. Staff are excellent even when busy.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating (and made a tonne of fuss for my dog). Roasts tasted great and came out rapid, puddings were superb. I recommend the blondie to anyone with taste buds. Very happy.

We visited tonight with family and friends, we have been on several occasions and never had a bad experience, tonight it was incredibly busy and we were served by Atlanta, only a young girl, she was so polite tentative and smiley, she made sure we had everything we needed as she did for everybody else in the restaurant, even though she looked like she was on her own she never failed to make everybody feel welcomed and looked after and she even gave us recommendations for deserts which we went on to order and really enjoy, the food was incredible, hot and flavourful, also Charlotte on the bar was lovely helping us with everything also so friendly and polite. Overall I would highly recommend as I always have! Thank you for brilliant service!

This is mine and my partner’s go-to pub at the weekends. Can’t fault this place. It’s cosy, dog friendly, great food and great service all around. Been so many times and never had an issue.

It's ok for drinks, they have sport on good sized TVs, a beer garden and play area, however, the food is grim. Poor quality cooked terribly. I wouldn't even feed a dog what was served for Sunday roast!

Came here to have breakfast watching the rugby. Couldn’t do enough for us. Good coffee , friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Couldn’t be better.

After recently moving to the area we have only been here twice, Jamie on the bar is brilliant! She remembered our drinks from a few weeks ago, we were served swiftly, also she was very chatty and bubbly and genuinely interested in what we had to say. We ate in the outdoor area, which is pleasantly decorated with a wide screen telly and canopy, always a plus with our weather! Atlanta brought our tea to the table and was equally chatty and engaging. Also need to give a quick mention to Charlie who works on the bar for his efficiency, would highly recommend to anyone, great atmosphere, wish we could have stayed for the quiz, another Thursday 🤔

Arranged to come here for breakfast at 11am with a friend. It wasn't open, so we had to sit outside until someone eventually unlocked the door just after 11.15. We went in to order, only to then be told the kitchen wasn't going to be open until 12 o clock. No reason or apology given by the staff, who looked grumpy and like they couldn't care less. This is the third time we've gone for food and the kitchen has been shut during advertised opening hours.

About £14 on a sunday i deffo wont be going back again

Tiny portions and cold food. Brought Sunday roast back dried up and microwaved. No mash either with it! My friend ordered fish and chips but it looked like a kiddy meal. Even only got half a pot of tea. After going before refurb and food was good, I was shocked at this.

Ordered the blue burger then realized after eating they had not put the blue cheese on I informed the waitress who just laughed

Called in after visiting superbike factory the 3 of us had a meal and drinks can't fault it very good

We went just to grab a dinner, however both my companions had some stomach ache afterwards. They had Buffalo chips and classic burger. I had chicken katsu burger. It was very nice but I must say that i missed a vegetable in this meal. No salad. The service was cold, no smile. But the pub itself got nice interrior.

Had a fabulous Christmas meal here. The new refurbished place is wonderful . Staff are very attentive. I was not aware I hadn't posted this . It's a wonderful place to eat and drink. I went yesterday. Harry the waiter is so polite and friendly. A credit to his team and family.

We went knowing what it is, order food and pay at the bar and the food is brought to the table. Surprised at the quality of the food for the price, nothing special but better than some establishments with this format, we all had Sunday roasts. The draught Beer is well kept and the service quite good for the amount of customers present (bank holiday weekend). The grounds are quite extensive with a childs play area, a covered patio and picnic type tables in the garden. There is also a large car park. We all enjoyed our visit.
