Mint in West Berkshire

A refreshing new restaurant. Amazing food and decor. Staff friendly. We would definitely go again to try out the other dishes. An enjoyable lunch on a very hot day in air condition. Perfect 🤩

We have visited twice in the last month on 10th May and 7th of June for my daughters Birthday. The food was amazing and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. My daughter is especially a huge fan and we will be coming back. The upstairs is a beautiful place to sit.

Tried this place for the first time and the food and service were excellent great little place. Deserves to be more central so people don’t miss it.

Best lamb I’ve ever had, I will definitely be back. Visited with friends and everyone really enjoyed their dishes. Was expecting healthy choices but think there was something for all tastes on the menu. Well worth a visit

A wonderful addition to Newbury with friendly, hard-working staff who work as a team and clearly love what they do and the establishment they have created. Food is delicious and plentiful and the personal service goes a long way. Poke bowls a highlight.

Superb independent restaurant with interesting and varied menu. Great service. A real gem Amongst the chains and coffee shops lining the streets.

We visited here for lunch and are kicking ourselves that we hadn’t come here sooner. We had a delightful experience. The restaurant is over two floors and we sat upstairs. Very pleasant ambience and seating. We tried the vegetarian and beef ramen, both delicious and very large portions. Recommend the fresh lemonade as well. Service was fast, and staff are lovely.

We visited this charming wee restaurant for the first time on Sunday evening. It is so good to see new and interesting dishes on the menu and not the same old pub grub. The staff were lovely and so helpful explaining food on the specials menu. All the food was fresh, delicious and perfectly presented. If you love your pudding the star of the show has to be the salted caramel cheesecake. Everything reasonably priced. Looking forward enjoying food at Mint again soon.

As soon as we entered Mint we were immediately welcomed with a smile and felt the friendly vibe which was in itself was uplifting . luckily we got a table straight away as people were coming and going all the time looking for a table . The decor is it's self is stunning with a huge beautiful bird mural painted by the talented Sian Story and a garden wall and ceiling ! We opted for a wrap halloumi and sweet chilli and a chicken one with a latte . The latte was creamy and full of flavour. When the wraps arrived they were amazingly filled with no space spared with the filling and fresh salad and a great dressing ! These were served with a salad which itself was delicious and fresh . We all shared a pancake stack for a sweet treat after with chocolate sauce , strawberry and marshmallow! The bill was very reasonable for the high quality of food we had recieved and enjoyed . We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a great atmosphere, with most food requirements offered and varied choices. All of the staff are amazing and seem to really enjoy their jobs .

Lovely, small and independent cafe. Delicious coffee and such a pleasure to be somewhere that doesn't look like every other coffee shop. Unique. Fabulous.

What a great find online, gorgeous food we both thought , rack of lamb special and chicken burger salad for me which was amazing !! Beautiful interior and lovely service . Mint cocktail is a must We will be back and soon

Lovely visit, a small restaurant,came as a precursor to a event and had the lamb, nicely cooked and presented. Staff were attentive.

We dropped into Mint by chance. We were on our way to another restaurant and noticed Mint was open! What a find. Really attentive and welcoming service and food that is delicious but different to the usual Newbury run of the mill. Small restaurant downstairs and a welcoming and cosy dog friendly lounge upstairs. We had a lovely dinner but will be back for brunch/coffee/ dinner again. Well done team Mint.

I visited Mint for the first time today and had a very delicious eggs Benedict and my friend avocado on toast. The staff were very effective and friendly and the restaurant has a great ambience. Highly recommend!

Great new restaurant in Newbury with delicious food and welcoming environment. This has become our favourite spot for weekend brunch and poke bowls after work. The cherry on top is their amazing coffee - I would definitely recommend!
