Millies Cookies in York

Lovely area this place is situated in and staff are friendly and polite we had a cookies personalised and it was absolutely amazing we will definitely be ordering again.

I am stunned at what these incredible people created for me. I asked for the double cookie to be decorated for a wedding and gave total creative licence. Wow. Just wow. It had a wedding dress, a morning suit, a ring and a bottle of champagne with the wedding date. Amazing! My sister and new brother in law were blown away. Thank you so much! ❤️

Took my niece and nephew in for personalised cookies. Staff were super friendly and patient with the kids. Cookies were delicious.

Came in for a milkshake and some cookies, absolutely amazing I'm always going here and don't see that changing anytime soon drinks are good cookies and ice creams best place in York staff are super friendly always feel welcome worth a visit don't miss out ❤️

absolutely dashing staff went with a few friends and bought a cute large milkshake. louise and dazi (hoping and praying i got that right)! made us feel extremely welcomed and had a delightful chat. 10/10 would recommend there i’m wishing i could work there it was so fun 🤩🤩

On a recent visit to York my son fancied a Baskin Robbins ice-cream located within the Millies Cookies. After waiting outside for quite some time for other customers to be served I asked for 2 ice-creams. The older woman serving looked at me like I had two heads and said "sorry I don't know how to do ice-cream!!" I answered surely it wasn't difficult just take the ice cream scoop and put the ice-cream on a cone!. She said that she hadn't been trained on the till for ice-cream and she was just in covering. What an absolute joke and I made my discontentment very clear. Surely it is not rocket science and they must have lost out on a lot of business with this unhelpful, untrained individual in charge! Would not recommend and would not return.

Today I visited the Bradford millies counter. The staff there had lack of information on how to deliver the service appropriately. I was after some cookies, and was told they were being baked in the oven & asked to return after 20 minutes. I returned after 20 minutes and was advised it was a further 20 minutes wait. I don’t understand how one can’t tell the difference between a 20 minute wait & a 40 minute wait.

On kings square, a small little shop but its quality over quantity. They make lovely cookies and always have nice large cookies on show in the window.

Al terminar mi visita a York volví por the Shambles pues recordaba una tienda de galletas que me llamó la atención. Me gustó y compre (por capricho) en ella dos de tipos distintos. Estaban buenas y vale la pena repetir.

I ordered a big cookie the other week for the following day and it was ready for collection (even when I turned up a bit early) and it was fantastic!

Popped in for an ice cream and was provided with a more than generous serving of a tasty mint choc-chip ice cream.

I ordered a large hand made heart shaped cookie with the inscription "thanks for looking after my dogs" for my dogsitter obviously, it takes 20 minutes to make so I returned to collect it some time later, exactly what I ordered in the colours I ordered it and tasted excellent, they also have a great selection of other cookies in all different styles and very reasonably priced, I may just qualify for their "return loyalty" bonus before I leave York on our 4 day break :)

Good: - the attendants are all very kind, excellent service. - the cookies are delicious, the best I have eaten, each time I go to York, I pass by Millie's cookies. - if you travel or if it is a present, buy the metal box, it will keep the cookies fresh and tasty for days. Could be improved: - only 2 kind of muffins: chocolate chips or blueberries.

We were going to buy a drink but when I saw the price of it, I did confront them but they said it was company policy.

It's a chain. So it's exactly like ever other millies cookies. Nice cookies, linked to Baskin Robins, so nice ice cream too. Nothing special. Go some where local.

Millie's is OK to buy a big cookie for a celebration or if you fancy treating someone special or yourself. The cookies are sickly sweet and won't last a long time before they tend to get either soggy or slightly stale. The icing is not good quality stuff and highly coloured. You can get better value for money elsewhere in York and not mass produced stuff either.

This place looks lovely but i was expecting the cookies to taste nicer,they were ok but ive had better.

staff super friendly and understanding , taking on challenge with making giant cookies with writing in diferent languages, always super quick service. (1 hour tops from the minute you order ) will be definitely going back over and over again :) keep it great work girls :)

Always come here to get a cookie for the kids birthday, has become a family tradition. Always friendly service and great quality product

We popped in to get our favourite cookies and were offered hot chocolate in addition. Both were extremely nice and full of flavour. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

I think they are great cookies from there they used to remind me of when I was younger so great cookies but the only thing is that they are not cheap cookies

They do a 3 layer (??) cookie cake which I only got a taste of Yummy cookies too. great that you can mix and match the cookies.
