KFC in York

Very upset with the veggie rice bowl I ordered! I checked in the website to double check it is supposed to be vegetarian and it is so why was there a big slab of chicken on it?! Of course I couldn’t eat it so I was left with nothing because they can’t do anything in the restaurant if I ordered through Just Eat. The only thing I could have had was the corn on the cob it is supposed to come with but that wasn’t even delivered!

The staff was not so welcoming n rude. Specially a asian couple who was working there. They were very rude while taking order as well.

Ordered a takeaway, the food was ready for 40 minutes before it was picked up, and each had items missing from our meals - wings missing as an add on to a meal, and the boneless chicken pieces missing from the trilogy box. The food that did arrive was cold, with the drinks not being cold at all. We called uber who handled the delivery (the only contact option we were given) and were told we would only receive a refund for the missing items, not the entire order despite it being inedible.

Your delivery rider wasn’t using a heat shielded bag so the food was almost cold

Just a pick-up point... The food was certainly delicious, the chicken was fresh. But, if I knew that you only have takeaway and I would have to carry a bag and look for a place to sit and enjoy KFS, I would not go to you. I might as well have ordered pizza at the hotel. At least one table could fit in a corner. I didn’t expect, and I didn’t know, that there would be only one point in the city, and it was so tiny.. 😕 And your price is higher than in Manchester or Leeds, although the combo set is the same 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve not been to the KFC for ten plus years Call in tonight 11,03,25 as a rare treat, 3 items missing off the order 2 large popcorn chicken and a fillet burger, the receipt was correct, but the order did not match the receipt. The chips were appalling straight into the bin ordered bean got sweetcorn Food was to a very poor Standard, I will not be going ever again to KFC. sorry it was Clifton Moor shop.

Have to say this was the best kfc we’ve had in a long time! Our best experience definitely. Super fast delivery and fresh hot and tasty!

I specifically asked for the food to be left on the doorstep and the security cameras would let me know when delivered. Driver rang the doorbell waking up the dogs which I was trying avoid. Chicken was rubbery and fibrous. Applied the £7 off voucher at checkout only for it to be charged.

Too small to reasonably called "KFC"- barely room to breathe, let alone fit any seats in. Half the items on the menu were unavailable, the chicken we received was cooked poorly (with off aftertaste), the gravy was the consistency of water, the chips were soggy and cold. Has rather put both of us off having KFC again for a good amount of time. Go anywhere else.

Terrible. Really regret going here. Didn't have what we wanted in stock, should have just left then but already being there we ended up picking other items. All horrifically greasy, except a mini fillet which seemed to have been shrunk and desiccated, and the normally iconic gravy was hideously runny and oily.

Would have been perfect if the delivery guy actually came to the door, I’m sat 5 feet from the door and have a dog that alerts to door knocks on the tv let alone actual door knocks, any way I went out to check on a whim and found the bag had just been left outside my gate (it was unlocked), after getting it I checked the app and turns out it had been sat there for 20 minutes, iv never had this problem before, drivers have always come to the door, so I don’t get what happened this time???!!!

I did not receive this order, even though I was at the correct address. I then reoredered and again I did not get my order. So for the 3rd time, I went back to my apartment and did another order, this actually did turn up.

This was my second order, which again I did not recieve. I then went back to my apartment and ordered again there, where when it turned up I had to give a 4 digit code. So I dont know how the first 2 got delivered. I wish to have a refund of £45.70

I was not sent what I had paid for, this is fraudulent. and when I put in a request for my money back for the item, I was told no! so you took my money but I didn't get anything and you refused to give me my money back.....yep froud

La pareja que había entrado después de mí había saltado directamente en ambas pantallas disponibles, por separado, mala suerte! 3 miembros del personal se quedaron sin hacer nada, yo sabía lo que quería, pero no podía ordenar con ellos, no su culpa. La forma en que se establece este sistema es ridícula. Me fui sin comprar nada que sospecho que hará mucho.

The food me and my wife ordered was somehow covered in gravy even though the gravy tub had no leaks whatsoever, the chips might as well not have been put in those little chip bags as the whole lot was just thrown into the larger bag. If you want KFC don't go here unless your getting it delivered, at least then you know it's going to arrive in shitty condition. Couldn't find a way to reply to the owner. The food was ordered in store in person, if you read the review properly I didn't get it delivered just mentioned that the food was packaged and presented as though a delivery driver had just thrown the bag in the car with little regard to its contents, this food was handed to me by your staff in such a deplorable state I'm surprised we didn't get food poisoning, as I've seen in other reviews. This was the first and last time I will ever buy food from this establishment and I will warn anyone visiting York to never set foot in this unprofessional substandard excuse for food establishment I've ever been in.
