Great service, clean and usual quality.

Breakfast muffin was tiny and couldn't hold the contents, it had also been ripped open and a huge chunk of it was missing!

Typical Mcd's, relatively fast service. Bins are not empty, and a creepy guy on the fries was staring all the time with a creepy smile. Food was as expected

Never have I experienced such a dirty mconalds food all over the floor tables dirty no serviettes high chair was filthy staff not interested shocked customer !!

Arrived 10.10 and ordered 2 meals whick took 20 minutes to arrive. The egg was cold and the hash browns barely warm. No serviettes provided or in the dumb waiter. Which incidentally was filthy with spilt ketchup. Miserable looking staff and I didn't see anyone wearing gloves when touching the food directly.

Do not order from here, especiallyfrom McDonalds app. Always missing items. Last 4 times has multiple items missing and rest is cold.

Order was wrong when we got the food back home. Missing one large portion of fries and the 5 piece chicken strips only had 4 in the box. No point going all the way back to say anything. Was not very clean inside.

Unfortunately visited the drive through, (knew I should have gone to Burger King) drink was warmer than the food. Asked for ice, “no, machine isn't working” was the reply. Called up and Manager said there is ice.!! Went back round drive through to change the drinks, by the time I had, the food may as well have come out of a fridge. Don’t bother going here you will be disappointed. Waste of money and time.

2 stars for purely getting the order right although it did take 15 minutes. Don’t know if I went in on a bad day as I’m out of area but this was the worst McDonald’s I have been to. The rubbish was spilling out of every bin, piled up on every table, and on the floor. When my number was called, there was no “sorry for the wait”… actually there was nothing. Just put the bag on the top and walked off. The food was lukewarm at best and the McFlurry had been sat there for 10 minutes so had almost completely melted by the time I received it. Honestly, wouldn’t bother trying. Just go around the corner to Burger King or KFC

Food good. Beer prices too much for me but then again I am a spoons man.

Fries were undercooked and looked very anaemic. They got the order wrong, and my wife had a reaction to the food within 15 minutes. My stomach felt a bit queasy a short time after this

Only ever use the drive thru, but service is always polite and the food is ok, latte is decent taste for price.

I just had some fries.the.place is very popular with kids. The ones there looked to be having a good time.

the driver was. driving around York randomly and by the time the order got here the ice cream was melted, the food was cold and a 17 pound order was inedible

Store generally kept tidy and clean however food orders are wrong quite often, missing items etc. We also received pies way past their discard time so we’re very dry and burnt. I think it’s because the store is always busy standards seem to slip. Also very annoying the fryer alarms are always going off, very annoying to hear while eating, I don’t know why someone doesn’t mute them or deal with them to shut them up. *Updated the review to reflect better service the past few times we’ve visited. Orders have not been wrong and standards have seemed to improve. *

The worst table service I have ever experienced. Tray was slammed down and then slid across table. No pleasantries what so ever. Not what you expect from someone at manager level. You need to change your career because customer service definitely isn't your thing 😡

It's a shame, once again, items were missing

McDonald's nowadays are nothing special over priced low quality/poor presentation. The self service and apparently new streamline setup instead of making things quicker seems to take twice as long. Even though I always have a special burger and it's all wrote on a label for the box they still get it wrong 9 out of 10 times so always check your burger/order to make sure its correct. They are been paid a half decent wage for what they do so a little pride and respect towards their customers wouldn't go a miss, burger always looks like a dogs dinner. If I'd be able to say well it's a cheap meal what do you expect but when a meal today costs £10+ for a single large meal with a milkshake I expect to get a little quality and a hot burger. All in all there are better options out there and you can't use price/value for money as an excuse as they are no longer that. Just so McDonald's might read this when you take milk product specially we shouldn't be paying vat on it, You charge us more for the privilege.

Food is hot but the chips are only ever half full and I always have to check I have all my food when I go through the drive through as often something is missing.

They failed to send the main part of my childs meal! i am now out of pocket and a treat turned into tears! thanks for nothing

Mc donalds Failed to back the Main part of my childs happy meal, very frustating! what do i feed my child now? what was a treat is now a pain for me and tears for my child.. i refunded the item, 2.99 which is lousy barley covers the cost of delivey

food wrapped poorly and smells bad

It’s a two minute drive from my house I spend £53 the food was cold and the icecream was completely melted 90 percent of the order went into the bin. I didn’t look to see what time it was met to be delivered just terrible

Shockingly bad breakfast muffins. Rock hard stale. Can only assume they were left out overnight and stuck under the grill to warm them up to try and pass them off as fresh. Avoid this place like the plague for breakfast at least 🤢🤮

Why would you wait nearly one hour for cold food ? You can track your order yes but when the driver is sent to two address before yours 🤯 and takes over 20 mons to drive less than 3 miles !!

Do Macdonslds ever deliver what you order?

Right me and my parnter went for meal. Ordered sweet chicken wrap meal and crispy chicken filet meal. Chicken fillet was dry as hell. Took it back to counter and been told they will do me a fresh one.why would you give a customer a dry hard chicken filet!!?? So while i was waiting for that. I seen there was vowcher on McDonald's app. Kids mean for 1.99 and also double chesse burger with fries for 2.49. Here is funny bit. Totall will be 4.49 but i got charged £6.49 and they also forgot my chips with double chesse burger. When i got home. Literally every time i go to McDonald's there is always something wrong. Always and as usual i been rubbed by £2 and twice mistake. And all i hear is sorry. 😡😡😡😡😡

why is there always something missing!! ordered 3 meal deals & a separate order & were missing 2 portions of chips!!!! can you introduce a part we can say foods missing and it gets delivered so we can eat properly rather than.waiting for money to be reimbursed!?!? :(

you should probably make it clearer if a soft drink like a coke is gonna be delivered in a cup instead of a can, why would I want a coke with breakfast? I was hoping for a can to keep for later…

Placed order at 2055 and given the drink within minutes and asked to pull forward whilst food was made. 20 minutes later and still no food so went in to find someone who had now finished work had marked my order as completed. Food eventually redone after another 10 minutes. Emailed them to complain and they don’t even have the decency to reply. If you have a choice use the Monks Cross branch far superior and care about their customers.

When it arrived there was no mozzarella bites missing a bag of chicken nuggets and some was cold would like a refund

Sadly they got my order wrong, which therefore cost me more than it should. Why don't they double-check your order before giving you it? Lesson learned: don't drive home before checking it yourself. Update (from a few weeks ago): they got the order wrong again. Missed a burger. I mean, how difficult is it to put 3 whole meals in a bag? Update again: missed the fries from the bag this time. I'm beginning to think they have zero quality control and a serious lack of training.

Another horrible experience, this time at the York Clifton moor outlet. 10 minutes wait for a big mac, filthy toilets, bored 'chef' plonking food in front of a bemused pair of staff trying figure out who the 15 or meals in front of them were for. The Manager (?) just walked past them to empty the till with a 'not my job' attitude. The Big mac tasted nice though.

Its a McDonalds - plastic grub but I still I like it.

Joke this place. Missed both my bugers in my meals and they can't do out about it cause I ordered on just eat .now it has spoilet my food .as didn't really want just chips and a drink .so angry. Waste of monet. And now won't be going to this mcd again 😡😤

We received the wrong order again, not one thing we ordered came. We received a M chicken sandwich meal, two double cheeseburgers and a medium Diet Coke. Not happy that this constantly happens

as usual a lucky dip on what you get delivered!! this time we got knife and fork with the pancakes and no syrup!! what a joke. I fail to see how taxing it is to read a receipt and match up the items needed and put them in a bag!!! just abysmal McDonald's.

Absolutely shocking, delivery driver was at the restaurant for over half an hour and when eventually delivered found that half the order was missing. Apparently not the first time that McDonald's Clifton Moor has messed up orders and my advice is to avoid...

we waited over an hour for a McDonalds and it was stone cold with soggy fries when we received it

Every time I come here the place is filthy. The tables are covered in food from the previous guests, the floor is always dirty, the seats wobble and are often full of crumbs and detritus. It's difficult to find a member of staff to clean them for you and some of the staff are wonderful but a minority seem to hate working there. I complained years ago to the owners about how dirty it was but nothing seems to have changed.

I’m unhappy because my meal is all soggy and wet and it’s not the first complaint I’ve made they need to sort this out! I’m so annoyed at this situation, majority of the time I order from Mac Donald’s something seems to either be spilt or the food is cold and nasty

Cold food, I don't expect much, it's maccies. But I do expected to pay for something that hasn't been sat on the side for hours so it gets to my door cold, rubbery and practically inedible

They missed a burger out of the big mac and the quarter pounder was too salty.

While watching where the driver was I noticed that they had gone to another establishment while on the way to delivery my order therefore resulting in my food being cold.

Friendly staff and the food would be better if sometimes it could be warmer, also seems to be a regular thing for the drinks to not have a lot of flavour

I am completely appalled, sickened and disgusted at the service that I have received tonight. I placed an order and had to wait 30 minutes for my food not to mention my burger was missing aswell and didn’t realise until I had got home hungry and ready to eat it. Incredibly upset by this and so my son.

Called in after a work visit to gear 4 music... Ordered got our food (lovely) then was presented with food for someone else but on our table number... Nobody claimed it... So had a free second meal ! Wayhay ! Will go again

Visiting the area with no car . How can you deliver food that's a 4 min drive barely warm?? What's the point in leaving delivery instructions when they are not read or understood, something simple like come round the back - the driver called me and still didn't get it ! He handed me the food without a thank you or sorry - terrible .

Had to clear and clean our table due to staff being so busy.... need more staff or someone assigned to cleaning.
