Yummy as always, nice and clean place, food was lovely although the wait for the fries was annoying

Horrible service 0 star rating and will never go here in future. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff I have no words to explain the experience with Five guys for the first time we had this experience from the staff who was cooking and preparing the food for the customer. As my friend had ordered 1 sandwich and extra fries 🍟 it takes 30 mints to get the order. When there is no waiting for any customer. The staff intentionally didn’t prepare her order on time and they are doing gossip about her it’s due to because she is from India. We have mentioned the time and order number and date everything in the picture. Please take appropriate actions towards your staff behaviour on customers. My friends get her order after they service to 29 number and her order number was 21. We are very disappointed with the services and the behaviour of the staff. Just because we paid money and we all are hungry we did said anything to the staff as they already doing gossiping about to give order to her or not. For more information check your camera recording on 30.03.2024 at 2:24 pm to 2:45 pm. This is unacceptable behaviour. The food is okay not bad we don’t complain about food but the behaviour was terrible. Don’t want to remember again. Not recommended to anyone because they don’t take customers seriously.

Visited late in the evening on Easter and the service was exceptional, very friendly. Keep up the great work. Food was brilliant too.

Overall, my experience at five  guys (York) was extremely disappointing. The combination of undercooked burgers and subpar customer service reflects poorly on the establishment's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I strongly urge management to address these issues promptly and prioritize the health and well-being of their patrons. Until significant improvements are made, I will be taking my business elsewhere. My advice to  customers would be to stay way . How can you trust eating there  when you can clearly see from the photos that the meat is raw.  Yet customer service claim it’s cooked !!  

Not your average burger in any way shape or form. It's my first experience at Five Guys, and was not disappointed. If you're used to a big M or royalty burgers, then prepared to be blown away! Expect restraunt prices, but it was well worth it! You choose your burger and then select what toppings you want - and there are lots to choose - and as many as you want, for no extra cost. Their fries are fantastic too, proper thick ones with the skins still on. You get the option of plain or Cajun spiced, and these are amazing. Milkshake machine appears to have a dedicated person operating it - and unlike that other place - was most definately working extremely well, with much more of a selection as well, including bacon, if that floats your boat! I chose strawberry and banana, which included actual fruit, topped with cream, and was just amazing!

This was my first visit to Five Guys as our son was keen for us to try it. The bacon cheese burger with all my chosen toppings was perfect and the bespoke milkshake combo was delicious along with the skin on fries- I'd definitely visit again

Had a great dining experience at Five Guys - although somebody mistakenly took my order, the man (apologies I don’t know his name but he was tall, I’m guessing he has long hair as it was in a bun and he was wearing a cap, he looked around 27 y/o+, he was on shift 22/02/24 at around 20:20) working in the kitchen was great in getting my order done as quickly as possible and was apologetic for the issue. He is a credit to your team, kind, quick and great customer service! (Also, the food was amazing!) please pass this on to him 😄

Burgers and chips are very tasty.Milkshakes are really nice. But overall the price is way too much for what is an upmarket macdees to be honest.

I went in to get some fries, the collection system was a bit chaotic as people stood in front of the counter meaning no one could hear their order number getting shouted but in the end I got my food and it was good. There are 3 restrooms but don't get lost like me they are up the stairs near the front doors.

The staff was very unpleasant and with 0 friendliness in their attention, as they did not speak English well, they did not show any interest in repeating things or trying to understand the conversation. Unlike other Five Guys locations where everything was perfect.

So this was my first time trying Five Guys and it was okay. I ordered a hamburger and fries and the portion was huge. I didn't really like the fries, but the burger was really really good. One thing that ruined the atmosphere was the amount of posters and advertisements on the walls boasting about their burgers. However, the staff were nice and I enjoyed my meal. I recommend coming here

We visited with our young family and all enjoyed it.

The only good thing about why ordered was the crispy bacon because I like crispy bacon. The burger was dry and chewy and really tough and the fries there was so many of them like they weren't cold quickly. It went out of me faster then I received an ate them overall do not order food from here.

Honestly some of the worst tasting food I have had. Came out warm and mushy. But that's aside the workers are lovely

First, and last ever Five Guys meal. For the price paid i expected something special, and special it was not! The bacon cheese hot dog looked good on the menu, and thats where the illusion ended. It was well, burnt. The bacon was cremated, almost black and in bits. The hot dog was like rubber, like somebody was feeding me rubber hose in a bun, and the cheese was like a slice of melted kitchen lino, all inside a bun that resembled a lump of kids play-dough. The chips would have been really nice had it not been for the amount of salt on them, there was enough salt to melt the arctic circle, waaaay too much. The only good thing was the shake, nice, very nice, but not £6 nice. All in all, £60 spent and only the shakes were enjoyed. Avoid and buy yourself a BK or some street food, your wallet and your kidneys will thank you. Oh, and if you like the Crystal Maze you’ll love the toilet experience. Good luck, and may your god have mercy on your soul.

We all, 4 of us, enjoyed our food. My vanilla milkshake was delicious! Just be aware of the prices before ordering they aren't McDonald level prices. Nor McDonald's quality. These are thick and juicy burgers and you get tons of fries!

Utter rubbish restaurant. We ordered a delivery because we couldn't get out with the kids. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 chips (pretty sure they just sell burgers and chips), somehow they forgot the chips... their response when challenged? "Doesn't matter, people make mistakes". It does matter and if I sold burgers and chips for a living, I'd have the good grace to apologise if I made a mess of 50% of an order.

I had heard good things about Five Guys from friends who live in Chester. I visited with my partner and we were very disappointed. The burgers were good - but for the price they need to be exceptional and they really weren't. The fries and shakes were excellent but we didn't come for them - the reputation is meant to be for the burgers and it falls short in this respect. The patties weren't just seared - they were dry - they should by juicy and flavoursome.

Got one of the spicy beef hot dogs, was very tasty and being able to select whichever toppings you want for no extra charge was good. I'll start with a positive.. the burger and fries was absolutely tip top, really tasty. Iv been to five guys up and down the country and never once complained or had a problem. However Saturday evening just passed (17th dec), I went in with a group of friends and please bare in mind it wasnt even that busy.
