This was a favourite for breakfast, great food and coffees and a little courtyard to sit out the back. Sadly it closed and hasn't been replaced with the same sort of food place.

Proper chef-cooked breakfast with the little extra touches. Didn't try the cakes, but they looked like they were inviting me to come back and scoff them. Decent coffee. Lovely people.

the Food overall is excellent. for a high street position it needs to be taken in hand and tidied up. remove ALL its adverts..posters and other window signs. makes it look a mess and doesnt need to be. the newish owners are lovely but need someone to advise them how to make it reallyy a No.1 Cafe. they close far too early for food. as I have said the food is mainly super just need a well thought out "touch" they should be packed non stop if they would make it more inviting.

I went to Miller's on a Wednesday brunchtime, 11.30 to be precise , prior to my visit to Marlipins Museum, a few doors up. The menu is wide, a lot of breakfasts from toast (£2.80 2 slices with various toppings) through eggs benedict, bacon sandwiches, full breakfast etc . Top price Eggs Royale(eggs benedict with salmon) at £6.80. Lunch is quiche or soup. Selection of what appeared home cooked cakes and cookies. Drinks, tea coffee, cold drinks from the fridge.. My bacon sandwich and mug of tea was fine, although the tea came pre milked and far too milky for me. The clientele were locals and visitors, quite quiet though, although perhaps too early for some. there is a lot of competition in Shoreham considering the size of it. Newspapers available, disabled access, toilet (although unsigned so I had to ask staff where it was) ,also difficult to access owing to having to negotiate tables and customers just outside the loo door. On the main High Street so easy access to buses, parking is always a problem. My main gripe was the grubbiness, my table was so sticky that it left half of the Daily Mail attached to it, the loos were grubby and even though it was a quiet time both mine and my next table hadn't been cleared by the time I left. All in all, clearly a much loved cafe with regular clientele waging a war against the more trendy options in Shoreham. I feel it could do with a menu cull and some staff training in cleanliness. Would I go again.....mmmm probably not

We stopped for a late breakfast today and ordered the Mini Vegetarian Breakfast. When it arrived it was well over cooked, the tomatoes were soggy and black on top, the eggs over cooked underneath, so much so you could not cut them through, the beans almost cold. When I informed the waitress, her reply only response was I will let the cook know. We have eaten here before, but had cold sandwiches which were much better. Either a bad day or hot food is not good here.

I was tempted into the cafe by the sign that said 'lavazza coffee.' I was very glad we ventured in. I chose the Normandy Apple cake. I am a bit of a cake snob and I wasn't disappointed. It was obviously freshly made. Would definitely return if we were in the area.

I've stopped here quite a few times when passing Shoreham. They do brilliant cakes. They don't accept credit/debit cards and lose a star for this. When I was there they had run out of baguettes. Someone wanted vinegar and they didn't have that either. Not sure why the staff didn't just pop to one of the shops nearby to get some.

Unlike other Shoreham cafes that offer takeaway services you don't get out to the back of the eat in queue. also the coffee is of a good quality. Efficient, fast & friendly 5*.

Popped in here one rainy, cold morning. I haven't been in here for a while as there are so many cafes etc nearby there's not enough days in the week to visit them all. First impressions are that it's conveniently situated on the main road, it's quite small and definitely not tarted up which is how I like it. I don't want to pay for the decor, I just want good, friendly service and decent food and drink, all of which Millers provides,

Obviously doesnt help they only have a food rating of 1 its a dirty place- avoid at all costs.Truffles-bakery alone is enough to aviod even attempting a full brekkie.Enjoy!

Not often we get the chance of having lunch together but walking through shoreham decided on "millers" a quite well done out little place and feel its a family business just starting my main problem was after ordering, first the wrong coffee arrived but rather than cause a fuss just settled for it,however after half an hour and sandwiches had'nt arrived asked what was happening turns out order had been misplaced rather than wait again and not wanting to get our money back took our order as a take away not a good idea if it had been served on a plate I would have sent it back, these days and the amount of resturants in Shoreham presentation is everything. Ive no doubt that it will get on a roll and turn out to be a good place to eat but fraid it ruined one of the few times my wife and I get a chance to eat out. We will try again as they have comfortable seating but for me a little more attention from the counter.

This used to be a bakers shop with a small cafe, then a cafe run by two chaps, one French, now the ownership has changed and so has the staff. The menu is more varied but I think that the breakfast is not quite as good. I had a wrap thing (can't remember the name of it) not bad although a bit short on the chicken. Those accompanying me had the small breakfast, and that is exactly what it was, small. This place is okay for snacks and a cuppa, but you might leave hungry if you are expecting more

The food and coffee here is great, a good selection of cafe staples supplemented by a specials board and interesting options like Quesadillas and salads. Lavazza coffee is consistently good and the kitchen is flexible, so if you want a single boiled egg for a child rather than the two on the menu then don’t be afraid to ask, your request will almost certainly be met with a positive response.Service is consistent because the owners are always present and take pride in their reputation and many of the customers are regulars.

I've eaten at this venue numerous times. The sandwiches are fine, hot food is a disaster and should be avoided. I should have taken my own advice yesterday. I last had a hot meal there about a year plus ago. I swore never to again, but gave in yesterday. Cod and chips (£15.95) and a lasagne (£14.25). The fish had clearly been frozen – nothing wrong with that – but then poorly cooked, resulting in a fishy stodge. The chips were overcooked – few were edible. Apparently, the lasagne was so-so. Whether it was the meal, but we've both spent more time in the bathroom than is usual, today. The experience wasn't worth £30.20. Stick to the sandwiches.

My son and I Had Mussels Provençal, a few days ago; too many olives and capers, not even sure if Provençal has capers and olives? But not the point of this post. We both experienced upset stomachs. We are both mindful that mussels can be problematic. But it’s ultimately the responsibility of the establishment to ensure their customers do not get sick from eating their food. Thankfully we are not old or frail
