I went in with my family on the weekend and for a first time experience I was very impressed.

Went to miller and carter for Mother’s Day Staff were very attentive and was seated very quickly our order was taken and all food came together we all had lovely starters and mains which we all enjoyed the Sunday sharing platter is a must lamb was stunning and the steak was delicious and the beef dripping gravy they need to bottle and sell that. Was a lovely evening with a fabulous meal and great attentive staff .

Went to miller and carter for dinner and the service was brilliant! Especially from Alex who serviced us at the bar! So friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! Food was lovely!! Will defo be going again x

I went in for a Sunday lunch which was perfect had great service from Maisie she was very helpful and good. The food was perfect as well I had the Sunday share board Which was good.

If steak were a religion, Chef Mario would be the high priest, the prophet, and the grill master all in one. I don’t know what kind of magical cow-whispering powers he has, but every bite of his steak felt like a warm hug from a medium-rare angel. Perfectly seared, juicy like a steak should write home about, and seasoned so well I considered proposing to it—Chef Mario’s steaks aren’t just food, they’re an emotional experience. Honestly, I’ve had less chemistry on first dates than I did with that ribeye. If you're not eating Mario's steaks, you’re just chewing sadness elsewhere.

Food was good, however the service we received from Alex behind the bar was second to none! Lovely and chatty, nothing was too much trouble. She made the entire experience so much better! Drinks were good too!

Always great experience at M&C Gloucester - we usually get the Fillet steak which is always cooked to our liking. The service is very efficient, our waitress Jess was smiley and polite, overall fab place for a good quality dinner.

Tik was amazing with her service today, even took the time to suprise us with a desert for our celebration! Tasty food, steak cooked beautifully and well presented. Definitely recommend. Thank you Tik for making our visit so special!

70th birthday party and we were well looked after by Nette.

We came a couple of weeks ago for the first time for my birthday. It was our first night out together since becoming parents a year ish ago and it was so lovely. Felt very special and everyone was so kind. Service was quick and they even celebrated my birthday 🎈

Had a lovely meal from my parents 64th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing and the waitress (Pom) was so delightful and helpful.

Chips were like rubber and cold nkt very nice and the burger i asked for no guerkin it came with it. Probably wouldnt order again if i am honest.

Exceptional food and service. We had the pleasure of being served by Lilly during our recent visit. Lilly made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking in at just the right moments. Her attentiveness, sincerity and eagerness ensured we had a great experience with a special, personal touch.

It was my birthday and we had a lovely meal and Pom our waitress went the extra mile in making the occasion special. Unfortunately I forgot to get my rewards card stamped by Pom. Unfortunately because we had such a lovely time, and on leaving, I forgot to get Pom to zap my phone. Can this be rectified.

We had a wonderful time at the Gloucester branch. Our server, Jenny, was quite friendly, and the food was generally good; however, I found the steak to be crusty and dry on the outside, everything else we ordered was nice. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend it.

It's a pleasure to write a good review when it's deserved and this place absolutely deserves positive feedback. We visited today for my partners birthday. The manager and ladies who served us couldn't have been kinder, more helpful or sincerely genuine throughout our entire visit. Their help with allergies was second to none and you could tell the chef took pride in his work. Our plates arrived carefully presented in what I'd expect to see in a high end restaurant. Wonderful experience and I'm extremely grateful for the staff here helping to make today that little bit extra special. Thank you so much :)

Pom was an amazing hostess. The food was wonderfully cooked and the sauces were delicious.

Always great service and happy to accommodate menu changes. I.e. I love the cheese and crackers but dislike the crackers. So at my request they swooped for french bread. The food as always was fantastic and they have a good choice for non steak eaters.

The stakes are nice but it's a shame that vegetables and chips are extras and quite expensive for the portions would be nice of they were put on as one of the free options and the wedge is not allways necessary, service was good but for the price of 5 people there are other places that serve food with the same quality but for less

Excellent food, perfect service. Couldn't ask for more for my birthday. Don't usually have fillet steak due to lack of flavour but this one was out of this world. First time trying lobster at the tender age of 59 and if they all taste as succulent as this, then I can see what all the fuss is about. Pricey, but you gets what you pay for. Shout out to our waitress, she was fantastic. Very highly recommended.

First time experience at M&C. My wife and I had the Valentines set menu and the service and environment was a great compliment to the excellent food. Really happy with the experience, definitely would recommend.

Pleasant surroundings, warm welcome. The service is excellent with staff very attentive. Ordering was easy and our steaks were simply fabulous. It is nice to be able to tailor your meal to your own personal tastes. Portions were generous and meal selection was quite wide. All in all we had a very enjoyable meal, finished off with a token complimentary birthday dish for my husband. Thank you

I’ve eat in here around 10 times since it opened, every time theirs issues with the food, or the orders wrong and even when you get the dish you ordered it’s very average food at the best. Someone booked it for a birthday tonight so I reluctantly went along and yet again disappointed. Very average and over priced. I don’t think this place will survive long with hickory’s opening just down the road . Much better food, and their steaks put miller and Carters to shame. Staff are great in all fairness so that’s a positive. Sorry for negative review but never got a positive point from the restaurant.

Came in to the restaurant last week for my anniversary and our waitress lily went above and beyond for us making sure we had a lovely time. The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere!
