KFC in Gloucester

I live in a country where KFC is a rare site, so was looking for one as a stop off. Popped into here on the way to somewhere else. Every piece of food across 2 different orders was perfect. Possibly the best KFC I have eaten! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it's location. Not an obvious place to find ... Only did so as searched on Google maps for a one! .. Also shares a carpark with a hand car wash place which doesn't feel right imo. Still great, hot and fast food. Would deffo go back if in the area.

First time at this particular KFC since before the pandemic, so several years ago. Plenty of on-site parking was available at the time of my visit (6pm on a Saturday evening). Since my last visit, the restaurant has been refurbished and has had self-service ordering tills installed. Food came very quickly after ordering. The fries have changed since my last visit and now have a light dusting of black pepper to give them a bit of a spicy kick. My burger was okay, however in my view there was just a little too much Zinger sauce as it ended up oozing out everywhere 😂 - others may like that of course. Overall I was pleased with the food and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Fantastic customer service from ARYAN So welcoming and provided me with the best service I hope he gets told of my review I asked for Rib pieces for my elderly mum and he done what he could

For a KFC this was good,the food was hot and well seasoned and we didn't have to wait too long. Free parking is available outside.

We went there after work with tge Grandson. It was done up really nice inside and very clean. It was nice and warm as some places are really cold. The service and food were both amazing.

Really nice and clean KFC restaurant, the food was tasty although a bit on the pricey side compared to some other establishments, which are better than KFC (including Slim Chickens).

Rude staff member , passed by today 16/08/24 @ 21:10 drivethrough , a lady who served me , not sure of her race but looked like Indian , just passed me my food rudely, closed the window and rolled her eyes at me before I even asked for some catchup and called out from the window and she never came until a different lady came to help .

Not happy, order was wrong. Order number 2067, No offer of sorting it out, very poor customer service, but what do they care?

It was alright, not a long wait for the food and the place was nice

These Tesco finest pork sausage with a glaze honey, whole grain mustard and soy sauce were absolutely outstanding and enjoyed them with a side of poached eggs and toasted sourdough, this was to make up for the KFC I had the night before which was absolutely pathetic and made me question whether I wanted to continue existing. The amount of mayonnaise that came out of my fillet tower burger on the first bite almost caused a natural disaster.

One of the best tasting KFC I ever had in this country .

Nice and clean, efficient, HOT food quickly served. We were lucky as it was quiet with only four or five tables occupied. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone who likes KFC

Couldn't complain the food was fresh and didn't have to wait overly long. Normally i don't think the chips but there chips and flurry and actually taste night snd the chicken is always nice

Walk in take away. Found touchscreen a little bit difficult to find what was required (send by children), as there didn't appear to be any counter service. Polite helpful and quick service. Carried to car (staff noticed I needed assistance, so didn't need to ask). As always, great quality, fresh and tasty chicken. Thanks

Got given the wrong food to start with got home after eating popcorn chicken and currently have food poisoning.

Zinger burger was not zinger! I think they forgot to put the spice in ! In too much hurry to complain .

Went to Gloucester shopping and decided to have a KFC and was pleasantly surprised the food was hot and crispy not at all greasy. Staff were cleaning the restaurant all the while wiping tables down as soon as they were vacated. Definitely return when we're in Gloucester again

Bought a bargain bucket all the pieces of chicken were small and very oily!! Not good !!

I have been to this KFC multiple times and it’s so disappointing I will no longer be returning in the future. The food is always like warm-cold. And there is a severe language barrier between staff and customers. Now I am not discriminating in any way and I think it’s great that they employ staff from any ethnicity however this poses an issue every time I go my order is incorrect. I drove 30 minutes home this evening to realise my order is wrong and it’s just something I won’t eat and will now no longer put my money into. Such a shame as kfc is a good brand for take away food but this branch needs to rethink their customer facing staff in order to provide a better service.

It is a very plasant place to go and eat, kids specially love the food. We coming every week and always staff is helpfull and wellcome.

Bad food poisoning have not been this I'll in years, food tasted funny

The queues were horrendously long, but they went down quite quickly, this was on a collecting food order. But delivery isn't good. Food was cold and cold drinks were missing from the order. There is no phone number to complain

Drove to resturant on seeing great offers with prices of 50% off certain meals. Posters everywhere advertising same discounts. However on arrival the discounts weren't working, and therefore I was charged full price. No offer of extra portions or anything, just a hefty bill having driven some considerable distance!! Which was rather disappointing. The food was as expected from a KFC, tasty, warm and well packed. Chips were particularly good, with a nice season added. Staff friendly.

Turned up 15 minutes before closing time on the way home after a night out. Food took a little while but was all being freshly prepared so was really hot and tasty. Staff were friendly as well.

If I could give 0 I would!!!! ordered my food though the app, some food did arrive but it was the wrong order, I called kfc and was told it’s not for them to sort and to call just eat, even tho I didn’t order it through just eat. I am now 40 pound out of pocket and a 6 pound meal to show for it. DO NOT USE THE KFC APP🤬😡

Can be an extremely busy shop, sometimes full of shouting school kids so maybe time your visit if you not in to louder dining. some of the staff in this KFC are quite rude but in the main the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A bit hit and miss really but apart from that a normal KFC

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced at any KFC, went through the drive-through as it was late, got to the order point, bloke was talking to who we assumed was us, placed our order twice as we weren't sure if he was talking to us or his mates inside, drove up to the window and he said we didn't place an order, claimed to have taken all orders, which he obviously hadn't and told us to go around again, tried explaining that we had placed our order at the order point but he wouldn't listen and kept saying to drive around again, we had already qued for 20 minutes. We drove off and didn't bother with KFC

I did not get all of my order and I live to far away to go back… I am so disappointed and you were not even busy ((((((

This has been my local kfc for quite some time now, and every single time I’ve been the staff have been lovely and friendly and the food has always been fresh, hot and quick service. Fantastic!!

I hadn’t been to KFC for several years since a bad experience in the Ross on Wye site . Well little has changed…..I had a twister meal. This comprised of a latte which was quite nice. A bag of fries, well I say bag it was more the size of mouses hammock and only just enough fries to fill it. These tasted like gravy which def wasn’t what I wanted. Then the “piece de resistance” was a twister with sweet chili. Well it was 3/4 filled with sweet chili shredded beetroot ( way too much and way too sticky) and one yes one lousy piece of chicken all of which was cold… when I’d eaten it I was still really hungry. No thanks , You can’t beat a McDonald’s .

Very bad quality food , we have ordered hot wings which was stinking and we have reported to the staff surprisingly she said it is normal for chicken which we four us could not agree with and then the manager accepted and changed it with new set of hot wings however I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Food is lovely. The service is ok dont find the staff that friendly but they do have a fast turn around for the orders and I do find the self service order screens brilliant

Ordered 3 boneless banquets only had 2 then had to go back to pick it up only to be asked if I brought it a day ago when it quite clearly showed i had it 20 minutes ago on my debit card I think from now on I'm sticking to mc donalds

Couldnt put my order through and argued with me even tho my app was opened and specified exacly what my order was. My order was wrong and my meal didnt have chips in the end but because i was so angry from having to argue over my order i didnt check everything and left. Didnt get my drink.

Just been to KFC Eastbrook what a disappointment that was. Terrible meal ordered boneless bucket meals for both of us when I got them home they were boxes with chicken on bones no sides offered they forgot our drinks . We had to throw away some of the chicken because the batter fell off leaving slimy chicken not very nice won't be going again. Plus the gravy had no taste.

A great KFC, great service and food...

They were having issues with the app not letting you order however the person on the drive thru was really good about letting me have the "free gravy when you order in the app" anyway.

This is one to be avoided at all costs , cold food , dirty restaurant, staff who can’t speak English , this has to be the worst food in Gloucestershire. The management are to blame but I don’t think they would actually care, they are getting paid for giving a very, very poor service.

Placed an order for delivery. 2 and a half hours later our order was marked as delivered but the food never arrived. Tried calling the restaurant several times but no one ever answered. We have ordered for delivery a few times before and 90% of the time there is something wrong or something missing. We only continue to order there as the kids like it, but this is the last time.

The most useless, inept, poor excuses for humans must run this outfit. Waiting 3+ hours and counting for a simple burger delivery just a couple of miles away. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE IDIOTS!! How difficult can it truly be to wrap a burger and hand it to a driver??!! Now a message saying the order is cancelled!! Absolute CRETINS!!!

first time here. took the grand kids. staff were great food was good. quite clean and lots of stuff like forks, cups, ice ,napkins etc.

No longer doing the veggie burgers so although my grandchildren ate well, nothing for me sadly.

Ordered for home delivery. After our food arrived 20 minutes late we dished up and started to eat what was at best luke warm food. My wife had ordered popcorn chicken. After eating perhaps 3 or 4 of the popcorn chicken pieces she spotted mould on several of them. Needless to say we binned everything and hoped we wouldn't get sick. What happened to this place it used to be great. WE WILL NEVER BE EATING HERE AGAIN.

The quality is about on par with other KFCs, but this branch offers abysmal order checking, more often way wrong than right, Typically missing key items off your order and all you get after complaining if you are lucky is a voucher code for the difference. You can phone and phone and phone to alert them, but nobody will pick up until your remaining meal is stone cold and your family members cheesed off. The whole experience is thrown together, fingers crossed, with a "lucky bag" outcome, nothing like the receipt paper stapled to the bag! We loved KFC food but won't order at Eastbrook Road branch, especially for home delivery as what you get is a complete shambles and wastes a family evening meal. This is despite a lot of second chances given! Pick-up and home delivery. I am not a habitual moaner either. This branch will do a lot of damage, losing long term custom for KFC. We won't be back. See for yourself.

I was pleased to not have to queue at all but it was hard to read the menu by the drive thru, we both chose a burger box meal each. We don't think it's good value for money. Should have chose a zinger deal.

Words fail me. The seating area has mostly been closed off apart from some tables all packed together next to the waiting area so everyone crammed in together. Order was wrong

Every single order is either wrong or something missing. Final straw today. Had delivery and everything wrong bar the drinks. Absolutely useless. Rang up to complain and there's no way of putting this politely,I could not understand a thing the bloke said. Not a word. I just about got that they were sending the proper order. Never came. Never again. My fault in the first place for again trusting this dump. Never had any issues with McDonalds or Pizza Hut. Should be shut down. You can tell the staff don't want to be there.

Was awful in a pandemic and the bins were overflowing. The toilets were disgusting there was pop all over the serving counter was there while they seved 6 people not cleaned up. There was people coming back in complaining they had the wrong order.no one was cleaning tables.the food was cold

Service wasn’t particularly good, quite unfriendly. Reduced tables due to COVID which was understandable, but they weren’t being cleaned when people finished eating, so we struggled to find a seat, even though there weren’t many people eating in. We were given 2 wrong drinks & they missed fries off 3 of our meals So we had to go ask for them. The food tasted ok but wasn’t very hot.

Absolute terrible disgrace! The restaurant offered half price if choose to eat in. I know there is social distancing in force at the moment but their planning was absolutely useless! There was 12 seats at 4 tables and they were only separated by dividers. 36 seats were taped off so no one could use them, 2 tables were reserved for staff who were not even on their break, and there was about 12 single tables for drivers who were not even in the restaurant. My father complained because our £12 meals would have cost £24 if we didn’t eat inside. In a restaurant that size they could have opened up another 18 seats but when we complained to the manager she just said it’s company rules and she couldn’t do anything about it. After waiting for 15 minutes another group of customers cleared their table and left. We was then able to order our food and sit down. Just after we sat down the manager turned the staff tables into customer tables! Why didn’t she do that earlier??? Also the food was below average. It wasn’t very tasty and was very over cooked. This restaurant is an absolute terrible disgrace, and the manager was completely useless. I will never go here again.

Went in for the 50% off deal ordered and they charged the full price. No I said the deal. they said you have to eat in for the deal yes I want to. There are no seat available I was told . This in a in about 50 seat restaurant what !!!! they had just 12 seats to use the rest we were told unable to use as it was company policy . they said I would have to pay the full price of £24 instead of £12 I told them that I would wait for a table I was told that I would have to reorder.So I waited. there was no proper spacing there tables set aside for drivers pick up no drivers there. The food was over cooked and dry the worst KFC that I have ever had. I am 76 years old

Yet to have a bad KFC. Zinger tower meal is heavenly.
