Had an amazing family meal at Miller and Carter Caversham! We were served by Annabel who was very attentive and made our birthday celebrations special.

Excellent service from Leon at lunch today, beautiful food. Only minor problem was that my grandmother ordered a medium rare steak and it was quite well done (possible mishearing) but she loved it none the less

Me and my partner celebrated my 24th birthday here. Shannon served us and was really attentive the whole time even with us being indecisive haha! Great food and great vibes. Thanks for the great night we will be back :) x

Booked a table here to see what all the fuss was about after hearing so many positive things from family and friends. The wife and I had brought my grandmother and aunt for lunch and sage to say it didn’t disappoint, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table and then had the honour of being served by “Leon” (friendly, nice & polite young man) whom made us feel comfortable and well informed about menu options. We opted to dine from the lunch set menu - For starter I had the “spicy chipotle chicken”, juicy succulent chicken served with a smooth sweet chilli sauce. For main - 7oz rump steak (rare) beautifully cooked and complemented with the usual garnishes as well as some bernaisse sauce. Washed all this down with a couple of pints of Peroni and then topped off the meal with a lovely pudding - crème brûlée 🤤 I believe one of the chefs names is “John” hats off to him also for some extremely tasty grub !!! All in all a very nice lunch out that was enjoyed by everyone and would highly recommend to anyone 👌🏼

Had a lovely meal in here with my mum. Had a lovely waiter called leon who did a bang up job. He was at our beck and call and was fast and very helpful when we didn't know what we wanted and helped us by recommending a few things on the menu. Thank you leon if you read this you did and amazing job. Me and my mum will definitely be back

I was there for a wedding reception. I had the cheesey mushrooms and a veggie burger. Absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, the team were brilliant especially considering there were a lot of people. They were really helpful, very friendly and I think went above and beyond. I'll definitely be going back.

Plenty of parking. Nice relaxed atmosphere, Waiting staff were friendly and on hand showed us to our table quickly. The evening seating wasn't packed, and we never felt rushed, so we were able to take time to chat and relax. Shared a starter with a really nice sauce (think it was the blue cheese one - recommend) and the staff brought extra plate and cutlery no funny looks. Main meal was hot and tasty too. Even the toilets are chilled as you can hear the music and even have a cheeky dance! Definitely be back.

Excellent service from Olivia and team, everyone was very well informed regarding allergies and Olivia made every effort to ensure we were having a good experience. We will be back.

Very good, accept the waiter argued over the temperature of the steak. I only eat blue or rare. They wouldn’t budge that I should order medium. I understand they are there to advise. But back down if the customer says no thank you.

We visited The Miller And Carter yesterday 7th September at 18.45 pm for a meal. Having been several times before and really enjoying our Meals previously yesterday This all changed. We Ordered 2 Steak meals and when they arrived at our Table the plates were cold and the Steaks were only Luke warm. The Halloumi fries were nearly cold as well. Why was a Hot Meal served on a cold Plate ? We drew this to the Waitresses Attention who took the Meals back to the Kitchen to Reheat. When they were returned the crispy onion loaf had disintegrated and was a Soggy mess and the larger of the Two Steaks was still only barely warm . It was full of Gristle and difficult to chew and definitely not worth the price that was charged for it . Such a Shame when we were Looking Forward to a nice Evening. We informed The Manager on Leaving who Just said He was Sorry.

The food was good but my experience there was absolutely terrible. I have eaten at miller and carter a few times now and I wouldn't judge the chain on the performance of the one restaurant.

Early meal for my son's birthday. He says the steak was juicy and the lobster tail was very tender.

2 steaks overcooked, once returned came back overcooked. Slow service, 3hours in restaurant at a less busy time. Miller and carter app couldn't be used as waiter had already started taking the payment off individual guests!!

The atmosphere as always was great and Leon certainly made up for the issue with the food. Would still recommend.

Served by Mandy who was attentive and quick to serve us. We had the lamb, ribeye steak and a childrens meatball pasta. All delicious.

I have had both lunch and dinner at the Caversham Miller & Carter over the last few months and have been well rewarded by good service, well cooked steaks and a most enjoyable salad with blue cheese.The French fries are always better than most other establishments in the area. Wine list is good as is the attentive waitress service. We will be dropping in again in September -

Went on a Monday and the place was pretty busy creating a good atmosphere. Food and service was good although we weren't made aware of the special offer advertised on their website. When asked about it our server produced another small special offer menu. Some of our group ordered from this menu which helped to keep the price down to £250 for 6 people eating mains and 4 deserts.

The food was beautiful and service was fantastic. Our waiter today was Leon. He was very attentive and kind. He made sure all of our request were met and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience.

Excellent as always, food delicious, and very kind and prompt service by Leon. Thank you we will be back agian soon.

Lovely meal, service from Manday was great

Best dining experience of my life! Myself and my partner visited on Saturday evening for our anniversary. The food was superb! We shared the Coet de Boeuf and it was divine! We also had a really lovely waiter, Leon. He was very welcoming and polite and made sure we were enjoying ourselves the entire evening. I also called the restaurant beforehand to see if they would do anything special for our anniversary, which they did (photo attached). Overall this was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had and we will definitely be coming back. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing dining experience with a great atmosphere and lovely waiters!

First time visitors to M&C Caversham and we were not disappointed. Our server Mandy was very knowledgeable and assisted with how each cut should be cooked. I took on board her suggestion and was extremely impressed with the results. The restaurant was clean and tables were well spaced. Didn’t feel crammed in.
