So very poor! Put in special requests for lunchtime for seating due to having a new baby and also trying to celebrate an anniversary. Requests completely ignored. Requested half ribs instead of bone marrow with sharing board, happy to pay. Waited over 45 minutes for meal, told a minute before it came out "we can't do the ribs as we are saving them for the saving but have put bone marrow on your plate". Drinks specials confirmed with staff. Then not honoured because they failed to realise 2 of same drinks for offer. Over £10 a cocktail for ice and maybe two sips! Asked for cocktails to go. "Yes if you have your own cup", great! Ordered. "No we don't have a license for cocktails only wine or beer". Absolute nonsense. Service was poor. Minimal check backs. Table not cleared. Desert menu not offered. Just really rubbish. Miller & Carter has gone downhill drastically (not just this one!) but our experience today resulted in a £200 bill and not a tip left! And we won't be returning. Appalled!

Everything in this steakhouse was great with enthusiastic staff like Mandy. This is a great restaurant with very nice food, worth a visit. The crème brûlée was also so beautiful!

I met up with a friend from London and had a voucher so decided to use it for a nice lunch out. She has a dog but I phoned ahead to make sure this would be ok to sit outside. I was told it would. When we arrived the woman who greeted us just said 'mmmm, no, not with the dog'. I was taken back by her abruptness but mentioned we were told we could sit outside. Her response was 'why would you want to it's cold? If you do l,you need to order at the bar'. Awful way to greet customers, but we had made the plan and stuck with it. No one brought us menus but there were some outside so it was fine. The food itself was excellent, and I felt it actually offered very good value for money. My steak was tasty and well cooked and I enjoyed the variety of different elements on the plate, the other party members had cheese burgers which were both excellent too. I would definitely visit Miller and Carter again, but not this branch due to being made to immediately feel unwelcome.

A lovely meal. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Food was delicious and perfectly as ordered. We had requested a table that was quiet as someone on the table was hard of hearing and this was really well accommodated by the staff which made the evening so much more enjoyable.

Chloe D was fantastic very attentive, very polite yet friendly took really good care of us and gave fabulous customer service. A true gem!

I travel around a fair bit for work, and if I can I like to try and visit a Miller and Carter. Based off this lunchtime visit, this restaurant is one of the best I've visited in terms of food quality, service etc.

Lovely food and great service this evening. The Sunday sharer was amazing, and the team were super accommodating with allowing us to sample wines to then perfectly compliment the wonderful food. Thank you Annabelle for the fantastic service. We will be back again very soon!

We dined here last night and we were all really impressed. Maddy, our waitress, was professional and attentive. She was knowledgable, especially when it came to allergies which left us feeling reassured and comfortable. The food was fantastic and we were checked in on regularly. Maddy even brought out a birthday treat for my dad’s which was really sweet and appreciated. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Came here for valentine's. Loved the food. We did expect the dress code to be kept to though which it wasn't by so many. We came very dressed up yet others were wearing trainers which was off-putting for the experience we expected.

Maddy was a great host. Good was fantastic and better than the restaurant in Reading with the location, free parking and atmosphere

Pleasant meal in nice surroundings. Maddy our waiting staff was friendly and efficient. Meal was a bit slow in coming but restaurant was busy so this was acceptable.

Very nice food. One vote for Maddie as best waiter! Only mark down is because a few things on the menu had run out by early-ish lunchtime. To be fair though it was a Sunday.

The food is alright, a bit boring. Not worth the price.

Waited over 45 minutes then had to ask if someone could take our drinks order let alone ordering food! Missing items when food arrived over 1 and a half hours later. Very poor!

Fantastic restaurant. Shannon was an amazing server nothing was too much for her and chef John provided some unbelievable food.

Maddy has done you proud. Start to finish it was an extremely busy restaurant and she handled it very well. Nothing was too much trouble.

Atmosphere wasn’t as nice as in the Riverside restaurant. Smart casual dress code didn’t seem to be adhered to. Wait time for starters seemed longer than expected (tables arrived later than us received their order before we did).

Food was nice. Experience for what it waThe decor was really nice and I was impressed by the quality of the menus loved the the gold bits on them. Our leetice wedge turned up at the same time as the main event which meant we was low on space on the table and it kind of got overlooked. The meat was under looked we asked for med rare but got rare at best blue in places with big chunks of white uncooked fat. We would of reported the meat however we didn't see our server again. She put the food down was back within 2-3 minutes to ask if it was OK at which point we.was.still trying to make space on the table didn't see her again until we'll after the meal which was annoying as we.wanted more drinks.s.

Our waiter rifaat was absolutely fabulous.. taking over and ensuring we had everything we needed… as for John the chef, is he actually a cook.. he hadn’t learned the difference between well done and rare!!! Very unhappy with his steak!!!

We went on a Sunday, had the sunday sharing plate ( like a roast) OMG- IT WAS DELICIOUS highly recommend

Our food was excellent, along with the service. We also liked and respected the fact that an automatic service charge wasn't added for tables under 8 and then only 10% for larger groups, leaving you free to make decision
