An absolutely lovely little tea room, run by a welcoming and friendly lady, whos rarebit and cheese scones are to die for. Me and my partner make a point of stopping here anytime we go near Ross and are never disappointed.

My partner and I stumbled on this place whilst we were staying in Ross on holiday. We went for lunch and needless to say this place is lovely. The food was great, which had a good choice for good prices. The tea selection was also very good The lovely lady who made us our food was a delight. I used to live in Ross so we had a very nice chat about the town and its people. Only slight nitpick is that they do not have a card machine, there is a cash machine around the corner, but it would be nice if a card machine was present to make payments a little easier Definitely check this one out if you are in Ross-on-wye

Pleased we found the lovely quaint coffee shop/tea room. We were spoilt for choice with the amount of variety there was of cakes. Even more spoilt by the old fashion tea pot and strainer. Very friendly lady who made our Springer spaniel, Peppa, very welcome. Highly recommend a visit here. We will be back.

After spending a BH Saturday exploring Ross, decided we needed some tea and cakes. Found Miffy’s a bit by accident and really pleased we did. Excellent service from the owner, really friendly and helpful about local events. Owner also seems to love dogs as our friends Springer was made very welcome.

What a lovely little cafe! We were really pleased to find that it was dog friendly, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Miffy, as was our Labrador! The menu looked really good - lots of variety including a good amount of Gluten Free options for those for whom that’s a concern. We were just stopping in for a mid afternoon snack so I had tea and welsh cakes and my other half had coffee and Lardy cake. Both were nice and I took home some coconut ice too! We had a lovely chat with Miffy and it was a pleasure to visit. It’s really quirky inside with lots to see! Menu is great and prices are good so it is well worth a visit!

Had a very nice cream tea. Good variety of food on the menu. The shop was busy and they could have done with another member of staff.

There is a placard stand in Ross on Wye recommending this bijou tea shop. The placard lured us in and we cannot fault the welcome from the proprietor. Tables are quaintly laid and window decor was delightful with Easter nearly upon us. There was a reserved table for six but we could take our choice of where to sit. The menu was fairly varied. Scrambled eggs and salmon on a cheese scone was different, but not entirely to my liking. My husband had bacon and (too much cheese) on a cheese scone. We couldn't see any conveniences. A freshening up of the seating area would be a lot more welcoming as you step into this tea shop because it certainly has a niche in this town.

Been to Miffy's before where we were hosted by a delightful lady whose Welsh Rarebit was divine. Returned today and it seems as if ownership has changed. Gentleman in there had an almost empty (2 customers only) cafe and then proceeded to instruct where we could sit in a rude manner. No head for business it seems as we took our business elsewhere. I would not recommend patronising this cafe until such time as the previous levels of courtesy and service come back. Beware!!!

My friend treated me to this for a special birthday. Beautifully laid out/ freshly cut sandwiches and also freshly baked scones and cakes... The Tea was loose leaf,a real olde world touch. A lovely afternoon and would return. Miffy was a lovely host Thank you again

Popped in on the off chance that I might get a savoury scone or similar, as I had missed lunch. At 4pm most cafes and tea rooms stop serving hot food by then, but not Miffy’s. Was able to order a freshly made toastie. Chose cheese and mushroom as the filler and the mushrooms had a wonderful flavour (definitely not run of the mill supermarket stuff!) Was also the best cup of tea I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely stop by again, and perhaps even visit their sister shop in Hereford. When chatting with the owner, he told me the Antique Tea Room in Hereford serves the same food and drinks.

We received a warm welcome at this lovely tea shop, when we called in for coffee and cake today. Drinks and cakes were great, and the menu looked interesting and varied. I love the pretty china and elegant table settings. Pity we're going home tomorrow, or we'd have paid another visit for lunch another day.

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.

Pleasant surroundings outside, unfortunately the food was not too a very high standard. Ham and piccalilli sandwich, ham tasteless (wafer thin and breaded, supermarket family pack springs to mind). Should have been advertised as a Piccalilli sandwich, Coffee was fine.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The menu was varied but not too much choice. We opted for jacket potato and a flat bread. Fresh and well presented.

Been to this lovely pub for Sunday lunch many times, never disappoints. Everything about this place is positive from the lovely friendly staff who can't do enough for you. It is a welcome throwback to how a local pub used to be, a real gem, long may it continues.
