Mi Sushi in Tower Hamlets

Food quality dropped by a lot, maybe new administration? It was my favourite sushi place, but sadly I won't be ordering again

Called several times. The person at the restaurant said he would add some credit or some note to my account that would be used for future orders but I don;t see where it is. Delivery time was 1h 57min and half the sushi rolls were shaken up and pushed to one side.

The gyoza in my opinion were not good. The teriyaki lacked flavour

The restaurant kept updating my order's delivery time: 16:45, then 17:15, then they told me 17:30 and then 17:50. At 17:50, surprise surprise, nothing showed up. It is now 18:05, no trace whatsoever of my order. However, they took my money immediately, but apparently I have to wait for an entire week and pray to MAYBE get my money back. Terrible service.

Hello I’ve not received my order and it says to enjoy your food. I’m very disappointed I’ve waited around an hour and have nothing at my door the address is correct. I am very frustrated by this.

Like all the cheaper sushi take aways quality drops once established. They can't even get the rice right.

I’ve ordered from this place many times before, yesterday I ordered shushi and katsu chicken curry - the curry for the katsu chicken was so watered down, it tasted of nothing! Usually the food is really good, but yesterday was such a disappointment.

The rice was uncooked. I usually enjoy this restaurant’s sushi, but this time it didn’t taste either fresh or properly made. Wouldn’t order from here again anytime soon.

Sushi pieces were bulky, too big and the fish seemed a bit off + smelled funny

Would not recommend the chicken katsu bento box. Cold when it arrived. No soya sauce, wasabi, and chopsticks for the sushi that came with it. Also, the chicken had more breading than chicken.

Disappointed. Absolutely loved the sushi from this place, deep fried rolls used to be amazing. Last few orders quality has gone down tons and isn’t the same. This last order didn’t even get given soy or wasabi as used to and was given like two tiny pieces of ginger. The sushi was flavourless and was given wrong fillings and basically not even deep fried. Hopefully they take this feedback on and go back to originally quality otherwise won’t be ordering anymore

Lovely food, lovely service, there was an issue with an item and not only they did deliver it again, they gave me two! Prices are also reasonable. A new favourite!

Do not order from them. I received the worst sashimi I ever saw. The fish stink and the quality is terrible. I had to throw the whole box.

Not bad sushi and calamari… No idea what the chicken bowl was but the chef should look up what and how to make a chicken teriyaki 👎🏽

At first I was so sceptical as it didn’t look as it was in the image or how it was described but we decided to indulge as we went over £40 on this meal and it was worth every bite.

Teriyaki chicken was incredibly dry with no teriyaki sauce at all. Sushi were okeyish, not great.

Sashimi was good, but other than that the rolls we order weren’t any good and the edamame were soggy as left in the box too long. Delivery was supposed to be between 20:20-20:40. Called the restaurant at 20:50 and they told me it will be 5-7 mins, 15 minutes later still nothing so call again, and he says the same thing, ok. Again 15 minutes later and still nothing call him again and he wanted to tell me the same thing and after being an hour late they had the audacity to tell me I can cancel my order! I understand it’s Valentines and it’s busy but adjust your time then accordingly and when someone calls don’t just say 5-7 mins, be honest.

Not sure where the teriyaki was… more like a bowl of rice and vegetables with a touch of chicken. Healthy but not what i expected. Sushi roll wasn’t great either. Is this an authentic Japanese chef?

Sashimi was very poor quality and we didn't eat it, it didn't taste fresh. Sushi was industrial, machine made? No pleasure involved.

Never delivered order. I waited outside for 20 minutes without seeing anyone. Manager hung up when I asked for my money back. TERRIBLE

We ordered from Mi Sushi many times before, but this will likely be the last time. The food arrived cold (spring rolls especially) and didn't taste good. It's a shame, as we used to love this place, but the last couple of times the quality was lower.

I didn't get no chopsticks, what am I meant to use, my fingers?!

Excellent food and good taste and value

The company does their own deliveries. They give estimates that are completely off. When you call them, you get through to someone who is so completely disinterested in speaking to you and simply tells you the driver is 5 mins away to get you off the phone, even though the driver is much further away. Will never order from this place again.

Food "arrived" an hour late and the delivery driver was an absolute nightmare - after repeated glitchy calls and me asking him to try texting instead (which he didn't), I finally make out that he's at the Sainsbury's just round the corner. He refuses to come to my flat despite me explaining it's the next street along, so I have to walk in the rain in my pjs to pick it up from him. The food was good but ruined by the stress of actually getting it!

You forgot the drink... can I get a refund or voucher?

Food was good and tasty. I really enjoyed it. I will order for sure again to try more things. The delivery was in time and food well packed and still hot enough to be eaten.

good quality, order delivered on time, very nicely priced There is variety for veterarians but there could be more. They packed chopsticks and sauces even if I said not to.

Got my food on time, food was still hot too, Unfortunately I didn’t receive the Fanta or coke in my order. Tried calling restaurant, no answer as they were probably busy. £1.79 for a can, I would’ve liked my drinks. 🙄

The food was delicious Allahumma barik flavours were really nice but the fish on the sushi I didn’t taste fresh and the chicken in the katsu curry was quite tough, but great flavour and presentation, would order again!

This is my No.1 for Japanese style food. Everything I have ordered has been good.

I was very hesitant to place an order with you today or not ... compared to last year ... today I was completely amazed and delighted with the service, everything was delivered at the highest level, my favorite rolls came fresh, delivery was timely, even the green peas were still hot, nice hot....everything was great, 10 + out of 5, will order again, thank you so much

I waited 2 hours for delivery + the restaurant lied when they said that the driver left about 10 minutes ago & turned up 45 minutes later

I was a complete idiot (out of towner) and ordered this to the wrong hotel, far away from where I originally said I was! When I googled and found out my mistake I called back to ask them to just give it to someone else as google maps was showing it was 25 minutes away. They brought it to me anyway! Really nice guy delivering and the food was superb too! Thanks very much!

The general quality of this sushi was poor; the rice was quite pasty and doughy unfortunately. Although the size of the pieces was generous.

Ho ordinato la cena in questo posto trovato nella lista proposta dall’hotel in cui ho soggiornato. Non l’avessi mai fatto. Ho trovato un verme negli edamame. Inutile dire che non ho toccato né il sashimi né la Tataki di tonno per timore che non fosse fresco. Tra l’altro tre fettine misere di salmone e una Tataki che non era tale perché totalmente cotta. Ad aggravare la situazione il prezzo spropositato e un ritardo di 40 minuti nella consegna. Davvero una pessima esperienza.

The restaurant didn't provide wasabi, soya sauce or chopsticks with the delivery. Apparently, not for the items I ordered - a salmon 12 piece sushi box?!? Since when that goes with no soya sauce. Quite disappointed that wasnt noted on point of order or as an option to add!

Hello ! I said my order was late at least 30 mn but I don’t know exactly the time but i wait more than 1h20 for my order and this one was delayed .. really disappointed

Nice sushi with a good range of options and platters for different size groups. Delivered on time despite a large order on a Saturday night, delivery driver was super polite and friendly. Will definitely order again.

The food was amazing as always. The added chop sticks was a life saver. The driver even knew my name.

This is the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Soggy gyoza, poorly made and tasteless sushi and chicken katsu was more bread than chicken . Put 90% of it in the bin

Driver didn’t know where to go, I stood there watching him go one side of the road to another for over 5 minutes, waived he didn’t even look. Eventually went after my order myself, him saying that hotel name is different when it says same on receipt. Also paid for drinks and they were crossed of on receipt, didn’t receive them. Sushi was one of the worst I had ever, warm and formed badly. Horrible experience!! Would not suggest!!

Was very disappointed to find out that Salmon Deep Fried Rolls are SPICY(!). This is not mentioned in the menu at all. Unfortunately, I'm intolerant to spicy/hot food and couldn't eat them.

The sushi was delicious but we ordered two Volvic bottles of water and only received one. Plus it wasn't Volvic, it was Pivar? Otherwise the food itself was awesome!!

What i loved about this,apart from the taste YUM! was it had the kitchen warmth of freshly prepared delivered to my plate feel.Also i payed full price and got more than a different sushi who gave me 50% off .not falling for that old trick. Mi Sushi With integrity…so far the best

The sushi was absolutely amazing! Only note - the delivery was 30 minutes later than booked and edamame was a little soggy.

Chicken teriyaki was filled with lots of veg. Sushi rolls were really good 👏🏼👏🏼 Edamame we’re soggy in the box served not really nice.

Food was great but they forgot my miso soup other than that it was delicious. A bit disappointed about my soup…

Regularly order from here. The best sushi and wings ever. Not had anything like it in and around East London. However, my order has been late the last few times I’ve ordered, which I’m unhappy about.
