Caribbean curry needed to be returned to kitchen as it arrived tepid, and it was very bland - not at all fruity or spicy as described on menu. In addition to this, l left with a very sticky sleeve and underside of trainers where a spill hadn’t been hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Really happy with food quality, went for tapas deal. 3 tapas and a glass of house wine for £13.50approx- can’t go wrong! Great deal and lovely food, drinks were served well and staff were very polite and friendly Highly recommend for town centre, lovely outdoor seating and plenty of space on inside. Also very clean. Unbelievably rude and grumpy staff member - a lady with a very long plaited pony tail. So grumpy and rude from the outset. We had not even been seated or ordered and she came over looking so grumpy, huffing, and giving minimal blunt answers. Walked off as somebody was still asking her something. Saw her huffing and rolling her eyes when another customer asked her for cutlery.

Always head to Merletto Lounge when visiting High Wycombe for enjoyable dinner, good food, atmosphere and service! Tonight had a very different experience after initial delight that Monday offered a special, ‘Cheeky Monday’, encouraged to order via app. which was not easy discovered we had not clicked in the right place to get special offer, explained to staff but unwilling or unable to address problem so Cheeky Monday turned into a very disappointing Monday! Will try somewhere new when next visiting High Wycombe!

Went here for breakfast when I woke up so that I could start my firework night day with a lounge breakfast.We had a fantastic breakfast,haven’t had a lounge breakfast in ages so really pleased to have one again.The food was delicious,my bacon and sausage butty was delicious and the chorizo and hash browns were also delicious too.Food was out of this world!Friendly and fast service!I love the decor and how this branch of the lounges chain has a quiz night on 7pm every Sunday night and also a soup of the day option!Would highly recommend this place for breakfast,especially if you are gluten free as they have a wonderful selection.

My friends and I went there to have lunch. I ordered a falafel flatbread with sweet potato fries and I really enjoyed my lunch. The flatbread was tastefully garnished with hummus, red onions and tomatoes with the falafel laid on top. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and fresh. My friend had a beetroot and feta flatbread and my other friend had a burger and fries and they were very pleased with their food too. The staff were friendly and helpful and we will definitely we going back there again.

Both members of staff were very good indeed. My Nasi goreng was good, with plenty of moist & vg chicken strips. The beer was good but the wine was almost half the cost of the meal. Would I go again? Yes, for the tapas.

First time visiting the lounge!Very good foods! We had some burgers and hot drinks! The staff is excellent! Only one thing I would like to see for the future, a bit more investment in the location, furniture to old and the sofas not to comfortable! Hope the owner will look into this! Otherwise is an excellent location for a stop by and have some food and drinks with family and friends! Definitely 5 star for the staff and the chefs who cooked our food!

I really like the Merletto Lounge. I have eaten here many times, for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu is extensive and overall the food is great and really good value. The all day breakfast is fantastic, but sadly let down by the worst sausages I have ever had on a plate - I would say 'eaten' but they weren't nice enough to eat - one bite and I knew! Otherwise, all other meals I have had here (and that's many) have been thoroughly delicious. The decor is funky, the atmosphere is lively and the staff are really friendly. Will definitely be back! The cheap sausages meant this review was 'very good' instead of 'excellent'!

Second breakfast visit to Merletto Lounge and loved it as much as the first. Shakshuka with chorizo is awesome, and the full English is great value. The quirky and trendy interior is lovely and open, great for people watching. Looking for an excuse to visit early evening and see how the vibe differs.

My partner and I really love coming to Merlotte lounge and regularly attend for drinks on a regular basis. We have eaten at the resturant and the food was nice, with great vegetarian and vegan options. The only reason why i have not scored 5 is because the tables are always dirty from the previous customers and they seem to short staffed the majority of the times! I feel that the staff should be wearing a uniform of some sort so that you can identify who the staff are.. We visted at the weekend for drinks to be told we would have to wait 20mins before our drinks would arrive due to the backlog - We left! To be fair the resturant was very busy, but the weather is getting better so you will expect more customers visting - There needs to be more staff and organisation so that the resturant can continue to make process!

Awful service and atmosphere. Food not good. Clearly short staffed for a Saturday lunchtime. We were seated at a dirty table with glasses etc still on it from previous customers. I have worked in restaurants and know how stressful it can be, but being short staffed however is no excuse for how rude , miserable and unhelpful the woman (manager?) serving behind the bar was. Acts like she is doing you a favour by serving you. Appeared to be put out/ annoyed to be asked what wine they served. Bordering on aggressive in her manner. No hint of a smile. Was very rude to the person who was ordering in front of me, basically telling her to hurry up ordering. Plonked drinks down in front of us when later ordered to the table, again looking extremely annoyed at customers daring to ask for a drink. The whole experience was extremely un- relaxing, in fact it was stressful. The food was also not good, chicken extremely dry. I felt bad for the young lad working there as he was clearly doing his best , working hard and was pleasant. However, with an overall atmosphere bordering on aggressive due to the female member of staff, I will never return.

We were a bit worried after reading some reviews but very glad we went. Really good food for excellent value. Food came quickly despite it being busy. And child / dog friendly too which is a bonus! All staff polite and efficient.

Went to this place for the first time for a family birthday meal. Food was good but abit disorganized, one person didn't get their fries until after they had finished the rest of their food, I didn't get my dessert until everyone else had finished. It was quiet and there were only 3 other tables occupied. We had to move some unused glasses and wine buckets from the table to make room for food ourselves, and one staff member just stayed at the bar and laughed when I explained, they didn't bother to move themselves.We were short on cutlery and were just told they put the right amount out, and couldn't be bothered to get another fork, so a member of our party ate with a kids plastic fork.Although the food was nice, I personally won't be going back until they improve their service.
