Mcdonald's Restaurants in Richmondshire

Ordered this from uber. The entire spicy chicken meal, plus 2 apple pie arrived very cold. Took a bite out of the burger which was like rubber. The chicken temperature was 35 degrees, same with the fries. The apple pie temped in at just under 35degrees. I also found some blue kinda plastic in the burger

rubbish burger had barely any sauce on it and was cold i ordered a vanilla milkshake but got strawberry

Below Average food - mostly cold - and unsalted chips, wasn’t even busy but had to wait a while for food. Disappointed We had already left so didn’t go back for an exchange

It’s constantly on and off with these guys. Sometimes the food is nice sometimes it’s inedible. Wouldn’t,recommend this specific location at all.

Visited the Catterick store for a late lunch today and found customer service was on point. The staff seemed friendly and approachable. So, what was wrong? The self service machine quickly spat its dummy out and would not give a receipt. Upon notifying the floor staff, they quickly came over, sorted it out and took it in good humour. Then I had a great dinner, less the first bite of my Big Tasty, which was cold. I took this back to the counter and quick as a flash, the apologetic duty manager; Kieran spirited it away, sorted out a fresh one and added some unexpected, but complimentary fries. I was taken aback by the very professional and eager response to rectify this. Kudos to him and his team (Merrily and busily working away un the background). I hope his boss or regional manager will give these McDonald troops the recognition and positive feedback they deserve. Kieran

This is the worst food I have ever got.. Would not give it to my dog . Order number 10 on Friday 18.30. Cold food just chicken strip in wrap thats it .. and as for the burgers disgusting..chips just out of freezer not cooked Beware do not go near it . Manager needs sacking how they can sell food like that .. Never be back .. Pay peanuts get monkeys

Ordered a chicken legend with cool Mayo and a strawberry milkshake. Got home & found I’d been given water instead of shake. The chicken, apart from the fact that there wasn’t any Mayo on it at all….tasted medicinal,….like cleaning products. Had to Chuck it as it left a bad taste in my mouth. That’s the last time I go to McDonald’s! What they advertise and what you get are two different things altogether! Yuk!

Ordered at the entrance to drive through and was served very quickly, very impressed but that’s where it ends!!!!!! The chicken was hard on both orders of Sweet chilli and BBQ chicken wrap. Both my wife and daughter said it was the worst they have ever had. I have a feeling although you need to get people through the drive through, it was made a long time before I ordered it. Not a pleasant experience.

Couldn't post on here when I originally wanted to. I came in Feb for lunch thinking it will be a lot better than it used to be before the refurb. How wrong was I, queued for ages for my food. Staff not a care in the world, the staff speak to you and look at you like something they just stepped in. Cattterick mcdonalds used to be awesome, these days even though the restaurant has been updated, it continues to be plagued by the same problems, that stem from the incompetent staff that still work there. Sort it out please and get staff in that actually want to work, or a hell of a lot of your customers will be heading to the new burger King that opens when the new shopping centre opens at scotch corner.

Called on 4th January with my Daughter on the way to Richmond Theatre,we both had the Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries,the Fries were ok but the Burger was only slightly warm,very disappointed,we didn't have time to complain as we were running late,will definitely not be going back again,my Daughter said she had read a lot of bad reviews,but we were hoping we would be lucky and get a good meal it's not that they were busy some staff were just stood talking,not sure about going to any other Macdonald's now

Ordered a vegetable deluxe for my daughter who only found out when she bit it that it was chicken....horrified

One of the worst experiences I’ve had and believe me I’ve tried to think of some good points but struggled. It’s recently been renovated so thought it would be quicker, I was wrong, the woman on the intercom had a bad attitude when talking, the order was completely wrong and cold so after reaching home and realising went back to complain, the young lad on the till didn’t care and took it to get redone, we didn’t receive any apology or anything and it truly seemed like they didn’t care... the food was still cold when we checked everything.

I wrongly assumed that following the refit service would improve but it’s even slower if that’s possible. Will someone with management experience please sort this place out the service is still dire.

I visited McDonalds to get children's takeaway meals only as that evening the adults were eating out at d'Antonio's up the hill. It was clean and inviting inside and service was quick. The food was standard McDonalds and not worthy of note.

big mac. sprite, french fries. does the trick, fills you up. very clean to eat in. what else can anyone say,

Find this branch of McDonald's a little hit and miss which suspect depends on who is working at the time! Some staff are polite and efficient whilst others sadly don't give a toss! The service is always slow regardless of whether it's busy or quiet... Could do with some updating: adding the self ordering screens like other McDonald's have would help speed things up maybe. All in all though not bad if a bit hit and miss at times.

Bag of seaman tbh sure someone came on my burger there was like 3 hairs and the sh1tty straw nearly dissolved the sh1tty thing if I eat here again 100% sure I’m dead I was ill after that disappointing meal

Not bad. Not bad at all, reccomend the Grandmac, chicken selects, but it's your choice so get cracking.

After calling in the morning at a different McDonald’s we called here for lunch. Very slow service and staff who are not on top of the job. Poor customer service too

I know I shouldn't, but the food is unsophisticated, quick and delicious. As a once in a while teat I don't see the harm. Really enjoyed my Big Mac and fries.

After queuing for an unacceptable time I eventually ordered our ‘ food ‘ consisting of a fish finger happy meal and a Big Mac with a Latte. The android serving asked for me to repeat the order three times without a please or thank you. On arrival we went to our uncleared table and examined the ‘ food ‘. The fish fingers were scorching however the fries barely warm. My Big Mac had obviously been sitting on the shelf longer than a spinster with a beard and was stuck to the carton. The contents had a texture akin to shoe leather and I’m guessing the same taste. Save yourself an hour of your life and cross the road to subway where the food is at least edible.

Amazing service and friendly staff! Had added extras to my burger and they cooked it amazingly my kids are always happy with a McDonald’s

Tired of the Rat Race? Worn out by the hectic, fast-moving pace of 21st-Century life? Wish you could slow down? Why not give yourself a treat and visit the slowest branch of McDonald's anywhere in the known universe? It's an oasis of calm! Nobody here is in any kind of hurry: that's guaranteed. Four or five tills, but only one zombie taking orders (a zombie that hasn't been trained to use a till, or handle cash, or deal with the public). The queue stretches from the counter to the door, and apparently the Manager hasn't heard of lunchtime because there's NO extra food and NO extra cashiers ready to cope with the midday demand. Meanwhile, platoons of spare staff wandering around like they're in a trance (half of them having a fag break outside), while cars queue outside and walk-in punters queue inside. If Ronald McDonald ever calls here, it'll wipe the smile off his face (if it doesn't put him to sleep first).

Had lunch here, tables had not been cleared, staff did not appear very welcoming, wont rush back sadly

Ate here waiting for Tesco to open, considering they only switched to their breakfast service 10 minuets ago the hash brown was cold and the sausage patty in my bagel was dry.

Considering this is in the middle of the North East’s biggest military garrison, the store is a disgrace! Very slow service, tables dirty, managers in the phone due to the tills breaking down.

I visited this mcdonalds with my two children recently one of which has asd. The service was terribly slow, qued for 25 minutes before being served and then had to wait a further 15 minutes for the food. It was a good job we were not in a rush. However it is very difficult trying to keep two young children happy while waiting for this long. While we were in there there were a group of teenagers swearing loudly and throwing rubbish at other diners. Not one member of staff said anything to them. There were two women members of staff who I'm guessing were supposed to be helping customers who spent the entire time gossiping with each other and chatting to their friends. I will definitely not be returning here and if you don't want to wait 45 mins for your food I would avoid this place.

Never had a problem with this McDonalds, been a handful of times and it's always been great service and food

Called here today as was close by in Richmond and the kids wanted a maccy d’s.food was good service ok and the place was reasonably clean,a few lads hanging outside ,plenty of parking.kids were happy so we were.overall a usual mcdonalds franchise ,fast food that fills a gap but never really fills you up.

Place is disgusting. Floors dirty staff uniforms mucky. The person who served me had sweat dripping of his face. Josh and he had 3 stars. Omg . Not enough staff on. Waited ages. Not going back here to eat

Spent nearly 20 minutes in the drive through queue,eventually I got to order and pay,drove to collect only to be told I’d have to wait longer for my order,said that’s fine I’ll wait here,was told “I wasn’t allowed” got a refund and will never darken their doorstep again,here’s a clue McDonald’s people when people are ordering and before you take any money off them,warn them there may be a delay!!!

After queuing for 20mins in the drive through I went 2 place my order and was told that the breakfast menus had finished 10mins ago I explained I had been waiting 20mins and that the menus where still showing breakfast. But they didn’t care and refuses 2 give me a breakfast order. I then changed my order and was told I could have that either because they where changing over the machines. I was told if I wanted a breakfast I shouldn’t come near the end of the time and a specially if there is a rush on.

big tasty burgers vastly overcooked by new staff charged incorrectly for large meals when only ordered and received standard meals groups of youths on the premises when consuming no food!!

As all Maccy D's pleases the grandchildren and fast service everytime.Food good for a quick feast for them.

Young staff did well on Sunday 20th was a young tall lad who was polite he had 1 star forgot his name.. sorry about messing up ya store the service was slow because about 50 of us came in at change over to main menu but the young lads did a good job with what they had and served us well ... although big macs took 20-30 mins for some of the lads to get which wasn't the tills fault however they were kind enough to say sorry and keep us up to date with our orders WELL DONE CATTERICK!

Vamos ocasionalmente a utilizar el coche. A veces la comida está bien, pero si tienes que esperar, tuvimos que esperar casi 20 minutos para una gran sabroso, luego las patatas fritas pueden ser pasada. Las actitudes varían algunos son gran personal otros no es así. Sin embargo, barato y alegre cuando tienes hambre después de una tienda de largo! !

Hemos visitado unas tres veces mientras compras un sábado.

Yo trabajo muchas horas y pase este lugar en mi casa, he aprendido que la hora del desayuno, el personal es amable, educado y la comida es correcta a lo que pedimos.

El personal necesita para aprender a hablar con el público y no gruñidos, actitud típica de los adolescentes. Comida claramente se destacó por un largo tiempo en el soporte de la caliente, bollos rellenos. horrible seco Ordenar! ! ! !

Went Throw drive throw at time very quiet looked Throw window as no body was there to see guest went behind counter to mess a with her boyfriend/ partner and I was still waiting when I asked for the manager for him to come act there's nothing wrong and shut the window

This was a great visit and great to see some old friends behind the counter. We had some righteous banter until the early hours of the morning where we shared tales of our history and enjoyed some tasty KFC. The waitress who was cleaning up had a fantastic heiny and I would openly say despite the dribble I'd be on that in a flash! We would have liked to have a happy ending with our mcflurry's but we can't have everything I guess! I dedicate the review to Harambe, rest in piece my man! :,)

The lady who was taking my order couldn't understand that I wanted 2 double sausage and egg mcmuffin meals and also 2 single double sausage and egg mcmuffin burgers after a while explaining she said she understood only to get the wrong order!! Also my sister who was getting served off another lady also got a wrong order..some serious training needed in that restaurant

Every time we visit this locationotice the staff can't seem to get a simple task of a plain burger right!! 3 times it took to do a burger with just the meat and bun, which you would think is the simplest of tasks, here is a clue when the burger is cooked, place it on a bunch job done!!

I visited this McDonald's today for lunch and found the female member of staff who served me first class she new her stuff polite and helpful. The young lady brought my lunch quickly too the table as I asked for a special order. It had just been cooked and perfect. The milk shake was best ever! As I had a bit of a drive home I used the toilets and found them spotless. I dont agree with people's negative comments regarding this outlet. unless the staff have had some additional training since your visits. Good McDonald's give it a try.

I regularly visit the drive through and every time without a shadow of a doubt there will be something missing from the order. It's extremely frustrating when you get home to find a burger missing, but when you wait at the drive through while you check your order the staff are intimidating.This restaurant is defiantly making a good profit by ripping me off.

good fast food - I go to this place quite regular. it is good to have this fastfood restaurant in this area.

We always use the drive through service and we've never had a problem with an order. We've never had to wait in any of the bays either and the staff are always very polite (no matter what time of night it is!)

I regularly stop off here for a coffee on my way home and have recently been disappointed with how many large latte's fail to fill more then two thirds of the cup, come on McD's top it up please.

Cold food most of the time especially the chips, have also had half cooked chicken not impressed at all

We use drive through with kids often and always great service very happy and fast food. We have to park in a bay quite often but don't mind as we know food is hot n fresh

Quick service, decent food. What more can you say, its a maccy ds, they are all very similar. Has a drive through as well as eat in.

After travelling up to catterick from home I was glad to pop into McDonald's for a breakfast and cup of tea, restaurant was clean and tidy and staff very polite.

This Macdonalds caters for families particularly. The food is of the usual high standard. We also took a wheelchair in and found the interior space accommodated it well.

Waited in the queue for 10mins to be served a cold burger which tasted awful by a guy that wiped his nose on the back of his hand!!!!

My burger bun tasted chewy and soggy like it was pre heated, chips were soggy aswell. Milkshake machine is always not working!!!!Poor service! Catterick need better staff that don't look miserable serving my food..

I have no idea what staff retention is like, but I do have difficulty in recognising any long term employees. This is reflected in food and service, with the establishment appearing to be a training area for ALL of McDs employees worldwide.My partners burger appeared to have been put together in a rather slapdash way, unfortunately this was not discovered until we reached home, three miles away. A soggy bun and sauce dripping from all sides of the burger, indicate a lack of quality control by the management. Either that or too many trainee staff being left to their own devices with inadequate supervision.With the soon to arrive new development, McDs are going to have to up their game quite dramatically to keep ahead of their fast food competitors. A personal request from me, can we have advertising photographs that resemble what comes across the counter ?

As usual hot tasty food at a fair price. A good fill up when on the go.Never been dissapointed in over 20 years eating on the run!

As it was pretty quiet today, instead of the Drive Thru I went inside and was pleased to see no queue, what a bad move, if I'd used the Drive Thru I would have got served a lot quicker, while waiting any vehicle pulling in seems to take precedence regardless of who was there first !

Slow poor service, not the cleanest place, if you have to use go through the drive through, then at least you won't have to wait ages for your food.

Arrived here at 10am today, ominous signs of the drive thru being full and the queue nearly out of the door.Decided to wait... 15 minutes to get served then 5 minutes for them to find a couple of sausage & egg McMuffins.Whilst in the queue, I saw one woman take back a 'wrap' TWICE, telling them it had the wrong filling.Plenty of staff on, but all running around like headless chickens !!!The atmosphere was so noisy that I elected to 'eat out'After all that, once back in my car, the McMuffin was OK.
