McDonald's in Newcastle upon Tyne

De nuevo en este restaurante están despistados. Esta se supone que es mi hamburguesa de pescado fileteado cada vez que se equivocan estoy furioso absolutamente patético. Es tan exasperante. Llegar a casa después de sentarse en el coche - a través de lo cual tomó una eternidad y he vuelto. La bebida es correcta. La comida no es que nunca lo hagan bien nunca siempre hay algo.

Quería comer en pero la música era tan alta que decidimos comer en el coche. Pedí dos hamburguesas dobles con queso. Cuando recibimos nuestra orden y caminamos hacia el auto. Abrí la comida y todo estaba frío.

Basura , siempre entrega el pedido equivocado, trató de llamar toda la noche no hay respuesta no es difícil hacerlo bien! ! nunca más después de la remodelación pensarías que era mejor. No lo es

Utilicé este McDonald's con bastante regularidad, ya que solo vivo a 2 minutos de distancia. En una semana visité 3 veces y cada vez que faltaba algo dos veces y tercera vez orden incorrecta. La cereza del pastel fue que llamé tarde después del trabajo hace un par de semanas, pasé por el camino, pagué mi comida y luego fui a la segunda ventana a esperar mi comida, después de unos 5 minutos me di cuenta de que la chica que estaba en la fiesta donde se puso la comida en las bolsas se agachó y recogió algo, vi que tenía un cuarto de libra y envoltorio en su mano y estaba envolviendo la hamburguesa de nuevo. La puso en la bolsa y no se dio cuenta de que la había visto. Ella fue a darme mi orden, y le dije que la había visto caerla al suelo y envolverla. Juro que trató de negarlo básicamente llamándome mentirosa. Le pedí hablar con el gerente y ella dijo que era la gerente. Le dije que no le creía, solo parecía de 17. tontamente perdí los estribos y le dije que se la pegara y se fue, así que terminé sin comida y de su bolsillo, pero es su pérdida porque solía gastar mucho dinero allí, su actitud era repugnante. Todo lo que puedo decir es que tiene suerte de que fuera una niña pequeña de lo contrario llevaría la comida

Me comieron patatas fritas a medias, compré un McFlurry y metí una patata congelada ahí, mi amiga pensó que no tenía cobertura para su gran mac y estaba en la bolsa y me dieron un pepinillo en mi hamburguesa de queso doble a pesar de que pedí no

¡Broma absoluta! Pasé por el camino para que nos dijeran que aparcáramos después de una espera de 40 minutos, el personal nos había entregado nuestra comida de £ 25 a un auto diferente sin comprobar ninguna matrícula! Entré y pregunté qué estaba pasando... para que me dijeran que lo habían enviado y que podían volver a hacer el pedido, pero la máquina de helados se había apagado 10 minutos antes. Niños muy decepcionados... ¡Nunca más!

Messed up the order. Then messed it up again and after 40 minutes enough was enough. The shift manager was a joke. He blamed a girl that had gone off shift then got annoyed when I said it was his responsibility! This is the 3rd experience like this. If they spent less time with Just Eat drivers filing the place maybe they would have more than a 2 star rating!

Was staying in the nearby Travel Lodge, arrived around 7pm following long drive from Yorkshire. I should have read the reviews before going!! Took a while to order as priority was given to Deliveroo guys and the drive through customers. Witnessed 2 sets of folks complaining they'd been given the wrong food and others complaining they had been waiting ages when hardly anyone was in the restaurant. We only ordered 2 meal deals and couple of drinks, took it back to the hotel, one main meal was missing, just the chips had been supplied. We shared one meal, tried ringing several times, just rang out. Walked back over, the surly manger gave us a refund for the wrap, and said it would be 5 days before it would be back in our bank account, I inquired why when they took the money instantly from the bank when charging us for goods they didn't provide, he replied 'that's just how it is' (is that legal?!)and walked off. Other people were listening, they said they were locals, and nothing ever seemed to go well for them either, always mixed up orders or missing items. They advised to pay cash, check all items in bag, taste before you leave as food is generally cold

Avoid this place like the plague, they always get the order wrong! This is the last time I'll be visiting. I've lost count of how many times we've visited and they've left things we've ordered out of the bag. The lady who runs the franchise could not care less and didn't respond to my attempt to contact her the last time I complained. The duty manager, Tom I think his name was, was also disinterested. And, let's face it, the food at McDonald's is always junk and this place is no different.

Gosforth Park McDonalds is the by far worst in the Newcastle area. Having lived in Gosforth for 8 years I have found the best McDonalds are at West Denton or Kingston Park, which are cleaner and have more consistent food quality. Gosforth Park is reliably poor in terns of quality of food and staff competence. Last visit was 7:30 pm on 13 August. BBQ Quarter Pounder burger was cold, with no salad or vegetables. I didn't expect it to look like the slick marketing photo, but I did expect it to at least be warm and contain something other than two cold, dry, meat patties. Gosforth Park is usually bad, but this is the last time they will disappoint me with their poor food preparation & service. On the plus side, the fries were hot and properly salted.

Was actually going to the Coop to get food and beer when wife said she fancied a McDonalds. I had a Big Tasty meal, she had a McChicken sandwich meal. The touch screen menu thing didn’t print a receipt, so had no idea which was our order. Process of elimination we worked it out. Took aaaaaaaaaaages for the food to come - and there was only 1 other person in the queue. Problem is all the Just Eat orders and drive through orders seem to get priority. Also saw the burgers go on a tray and there was clearly no fries ready - so they burgers were going to be cold waiting for fries. Sure enough, cold burgers and scalding hot fries. As for “Big Tasty” - sure it was big. Tasty? Nah. The burger just didn’t taste of anything. Bland. Definitely not worth 845 calories or the price - these things are awful compared to Five Guys or a decent burger place like Fat Hippo. If it’s not fast, and it doesn’t taste good, and it’s not warm, and it’s expensive - what’s the USP? The “restaurant” is also awful - constant beeps from the kitchen makes you feel like you’re dining in an A&E department. Dreadful place.

Very slow service. Nearly 20 mins from placing order to receiving food despite being the only customer in the restaurant. Maybe the drive through would have been quicker .

This is our local McDonald's and we visit maybe once or twice a month. No issues with the food, up to the usual cheap / cheerful generic McDonald's standard, but I have a major problem with the drive through service. We always use the drive through and I can honestly say in the last 7 visits, this one included, not once have they got the order right! There's always something missing. This time it was a burger. In the past it has been fries, sauces and more. One one occasion we ordered 4 meals and my wife's entire meal was missing. We didn't realise this until we got home so I had to drive back, queue for a second time and wait for the food. Meaning when I got home my own food was cold. Threre's another McDonald's at Kingston Park which we also use and we've not had an issue once. We now check our order every time before we leave the Gosforth drive through, it's that bad.

Incompetent doesn’t begin to explain the staff here. Have ordered in store, via drive through, via pickup, via just eat. ON EVERY occasion, they’ve messed up. Missing items, cold food, drivers not turning up, coffee split all over food. Given them 10+ chances and every time they fail! Use the Kingston park on instead, save yourself the hassle!!

For Naj at gosforth McDonald’s drive thru. Had a lovely and super friendly young man take my order on the drive through tonight, he was a sweetheart. I had a nightmare order and will admit I was a nightmare customer and he made my night with a quick laugh smile and banter which made me want to take him home and keep him 😂 naj you are fantastic! Keep up the great work and wonderful customer service! Never change! X

I really don’t want to even give them a rate tbh The customer service is ludicrous and really needs to improve I have never been to a McDonald’s that the staff talk customers like they are rubbish on your shoe We tried to order McFlurrys but got told they didn’t have them even though they were giving other customers McFlurrys Our food was freezing like it had been sat there for a while there was a dark hair in our food I have worked within a McDonald’s but have never felt like this I understand some times it can get busy but it was dead and also a Monday evening I will never return here that’s for sure I rang the restaurant up they did apologise and said they would have a word but I don’t see how that will change anything at all tbh but ok I wish I could just get my money I spent there back

I have ordered before and one time there was an issue when I ordered from JustEat where the driver dropped my food so we obviously couldn't eat food from the floor. The driver took the food back so I got a refund but I still had to pay for delivery. So, anyway I ordered our meal today from Uber eats. It's Sunday so I expect to wait for the order to leave the restaurant, no problem. Then, I get notified that the food is on its way and the driver has 1 stop before he gets to us, no problem. I'm waiting a while so I look at the map and the driver is in Wideopen which is about 10 minutes north of the Mcdonald's restaurant. We are about 12 minutes south of the restaurant. My problem is why are the staff at mcdonalds putting my meal in the same delivery as an area 22 minutes away from me. Our food was cold, obviously, and difficult to eat. The delivery is nearly £5 and the food isn't that cheap. I could have got some Chinese or Indian food for around the same price and they aren't usually cheap. Not happy. Just thought I'd share this experience in case someone wants to order delivery from the South Gosforth restaurant. I have never had an issue with the taste of burgers or any other food or drinks from the restaurant before. The restaurant just doesn't seem to know how to route deliveries if they are sending food to addresses quite far apart. When Mcdonald's food is cold I don't like it. The taste is gone. Like eating cardboard.

Used the drive through and placed a food order. Drove to the window to collect the food and almost instantly the lady handed the drinks over, immediately followed by a bag of food. “There’s your food” she said as she handed it over. I drove home to find they’d literally given me only the fries that went with the four meals! I was furious. It’s not the first time this restaurant has handed me an incomplete order. I should have known better and checked it before driving off. They’d not given me a receipt either. I drove back, went through the drive through again and after messing me around for 5 minutes they gave me the order. This time I did check it. Good job I did as there was two packets of fries missing!

I don’t know why I bother with this place, once again food poor quality and hair on my Hash Brown! App deleted and definitely no more

We waited over an hour and a half for our order which was cancelled with no explanation. Appalling service and a total foul up between McDonalds and Just Eat.

This place is really good I have ordered in the past and they haven’t gave the right items but apart from that it’s really delicious and good quality also only a 1 minute drive from me and 5 min walk!

Deeply disappointed today with the meals we ordered, the fries were not cooked and some even raw, the burgers were as dry as sticks and as tough as old shoe leather. I requested salsa with my mozzarella sticks however I didn’t receive any. This is the second time I have had a disastrous meal and I will absolutely not be wasting my money here again

The two staff on the shop floor were unbelievably rude with the lady even commenting “why is everyone thick today?” She went on to say she would take her time clearing a table to purposely make an elderly gentleman wait longer and the young lad was just barking orders at customers!! If these two are the best choice to put customer facing what on earth is in the kitchen? Then to top it all off couldn’t even get my order right 🤷‍♂️, avoid this place at all costs 👍

Used twice during a four day stay in the area. Quick , clean and convenient. My wife and I stayed close by at the Travelodge so it was only a hop skip and jump away.

Not a frequent visitor to McDonalds but this one is local and handy for a quick bite to eat. Make sure you check your order as on more than one occasion, our order has had items missing.

good drive-through or sit in with the grand-kids. not a lover of macds myself but the grand-kids love it. Easy to get to and cheap.

a lot of money has been spent in modernizing the building but the place is still drafty and cold. I have in the past complained about the temperature but to no avail. There is something drastically wrong with the heating system.

My order when received was mediocre at best, fries were hot, burger was not which considering the wait was surprising, sorry McDonalds for me as I found it dry and tasteless

Handy if you are at the racecourse as located just outside Gosforth Park boundaries. Small restaurant area and double ordering space for drive thru. You know what you get!

Forgive me for another review of this Mcdonalds Gosforth but I have to tell you a little story. My son and I drove up on a whim into the drive through ordered 2 Mcflurrys, a milkshake, a Big Mac meal and I said to the guy 12 chicken nuggets please to which he replied sorry we can't do that sir we only sell portions of 6, 9 and 20. We laughed and I jovially confronted him at the next desk and he repeated the exact same answer, whoosh! Straight over his head, bless him. Still one of the best Mcdonalds though.

This is an above average McDonalds compared to others I have been in. The staff are polite with good customer service, although sometimes service can be slow when busy. It is clean and well maintained.
