McDonald's in Ashford

They hade no grimace shake floor was dirty customer service wasn’t nice they released grimace shake bout weren’t even selling it that’s my review.

MANAGER SO RUDE! I had ordered 2 double cheeseburger meals, was given drinks at first window then told to wait in bay 2 they then bought 1 BURGER no chips just 1 burger in a bag, told a lovely ginger girl staff member she then got confused an bought me 1 chips I then pulled to the window where was told I was a liar by the manager an she packed it herself then stormed off even thought her colleagues knew we had no chips so the order hadn’t been packed correctly. The lovely man in the white shirt proceeded to give me my meal a was nothing but kind an understanding. I think they need to have a look at management because a manager should not be shouting at customers then refusing to talk a storming off with no resolution leaving everyone else to deal with their mess. Thanks to the ginger girl an blonde haired man in the white shirt. You’re a credit to McDonald’s. I feel awful you have to put up with management like that! Sort it out McDonald’s!!!!

Came for breakfast before the long drive back from Kent to Codnor. It is much the same as the other 101,900,000,000 McDonald's across the land, though unlike the one I went to in St Leonards on Sea, this one did not have any colouring for the young children. It did, however, have paper flags, which kept the children entertained perfectly well. Again, unlike the one in St Leonards on Sea, this one piped in that dreadful "safe" R&B/Hip Hop that you might hear on a particularly slow day on Radio 1 - if you are a tasteless idiot who listens to Radio 1. It's dreadful. That awful, whiny "urban" drivel that will hopefully have faded from society in the next 10 years or so. One thing that did surprise me was the fact that a manager at this particular branch held a staff appraisal with a young bloke on the table next to us - meaning that through no fault of my own I now know this guy's wage, along with his professional strengths and weaknesses. Surely there was somewhere else they could have done this?? Anyway, like every other McDonald's, it served its purpose.

Mc Donald’s is always the place to go when you just need quick cheap meal after a long day. Food is good just like any mc Donald’s. As quick service as it can be and how busy it is depends on time of day and what day.

I used to really like this place, but now the music is awful. Cheap cover versions played really loud.

Poor experience today. Was told by the cashier that our food would be brought over to us however we waited and where we were seated you wouldn't have been aware of anyone calling.The food stayed on the shelf and no one walked around to check. Apparently we were called a number of times. The food had gone cold and they remade the order. What an unnecessary waste of food and an unacceptable wait initially and then again whilst the food was redone.The food arrived with a missing item and an extra item which belonged to someone else. Why?The whole system seemed chaotic and haphazard. Not impressed.

Firstly, I would like to start of by saying the service was diabolical. I am outraged my friend got a 5 select meal and didn’t even get his chips and his selects were cold and 1 select was missing. My burger looked like it had been threw against a wall then stomped on by the hulk , my friends cheese bites were solid and stone cold 😡😡🤬 Kind regards Anonymous

Not impressed with my LARGE latte again guys!...not only have i got half a cup it is stone cold...no steam...not even any froth left it is so cold! So fed up with this...sounds ridiculous I know but when you pay extra for large...I expect large...and it happens at least 3 out of 5 visits...I don't want to go bk and complain today because last time I did they made me wait for 10 mins for another one, they look at you like you've done something terrible or try to palm me off with 'that's what the machine does!'..Yes but you have to push the large button don't you?! And what's the excuse for it to be cold? There was no queue...went straight through drive through with no problems!

I visit this place once or twice a week and you always have to wait for food. I’ve never been without being told, “wait in the parking bay”. And when you do the order is inevitably wrong. I have no idea who is running place but they need a word

Cold limp fries, lettuce going brown and dry burgers. Would have had chicken, but they had run out, seems to happen regularly that they run out of stuff. This was Saturday lunchtime, so surely they would have ordered enough to cover the rest of the weekend, bad planning! Won't be back.

We have been here a couple times recently after the cinema or driving home etc, everytime have asked for a caramel iced frappe and a fanta. They don’t have either. It’s such a small menu, how do they not have the stuff?! Chips are always thrown in the bag and never full, I guarantee you get the same amount in a “large” as you do in a medium so save your pennies. Useless place.

Went in for lunch on my lunch break , was hungry and just wanted a decent meal , but instead I was given a triple cheese burger which looked like it had been sat on. Not happy , shocking for such a popular hotspot location

All I wanted for Christmas was a festive crispy chicken and on Christmas Eve this McDonald’s let me down. They didn’t have any of the festive meals and have now sent me into the new year with no hope. You thought rona was bad this is a catastrophe. I cried for 5 hrs. Then as if that weren’t bad enough I ordered a bbq bacon wrap meal and they gave me a veggie one. I won’t be going there again and would advise you all to steer clear. Don’t have your Christmas ruined!

Twice in a row now there have been items missing from my order and many times before this. I understand this is only McDonald’s but come on, we just wanted our food redelivered but that’s not an option 😫

4.5 Staff were polite and the food was nice and hot and very tasty .I know this is not always the case but credit is due on this visit .well done to the crew and to let you know people do notice when is right and wrong . When I have gone to this site the staff are always polite and friendly ,which give patrons and better feeling about the experience.we have a mixture of items and all were enjoyed.

Not a brilliant experience here. Firstly, they had no vegetarian meals, so no burger or wrap. I had to have a sharing box of nacho cheese bites and some fries. Secondly, staff were being inconsistent about following covid rules. There was a woman at the door who seemed to choose who she asked to signed in on the NHS track and trace app. Kids were running around, touching all surfaces and no member of staff intervened. The food was good, but very disappointed about the limited options for me to eat, and the lack of covid rules being followed.

I was monching on my big mac and all of a sudden I came across a finger nail in my food! I was frankly disgusted and horrified at the poor level of hygiene. Since then I have not even been able to look at this horrible place and hence the awful review. The chips were to die for though. Me and my girlfriend grace were appauled

I had a burger with a coffee and the cup got stuck in another cup but I still got them meaning I had 2 cups I separated them and got two stickers thank you McDonald’s

Found a couple of red hairs in my nuggets box, contacted McDs head office for customer service but I didn't take picture, without picture evidence they weren't even willing to investigate. In the current climate, surely food hygiene should be essential, they just didn't care and didn't even look into if a member of staff has that colour hair. Luckily it wasn't in our kids happy meals. Disgraceful!!!!

i came in with my friend and used the self service machines like i usually do. i came to realise that it was rather quiet for this mcdonald’s at a lunch time, this was because of the COVID-19 out break and i remember my friends who work here telling me that they only do takeaway, delivery and drive thru. i was not distressed by this issue what so ever and carried on with my order, one of the employees were taping the floor so the customer when picking up their orders they could keep their distance and be at the same distance- which i found was very honourable of them to take such action as i felt so secure. as my friend and i were queuing we were stood in the squares playing around pretending it was like a game of hop scotch, and one of the employees behind the counters said “don’t do that keep your distance” as a joke, she was one of the most friendliest employees i’ve ever met despite having to work in these conditions. i appreciate their efforts on making us feel welcome and safe. i highly recommend this specific mcdonald’s. the employees have ALWAYS been rather helpful.

place was busy but did not wait long before order was taken. We were served quickly. Food was hot and tasty. Premises clean and tidy. Definitely will use again

Extremely busy but tables were kept clean between customers . Excellent customer service from Iulia , friendly , chatty and was good to the Grandchildren .

Mc Donald's on the Eureka site just for the M20 junction 9 Ashford. Nice outside seating area with a kids play area. Free parking available.

It is just that McD's you know what you are getting. There is a nice outdoor area for the kids to play and a nice outdoor area to sit as well.

I found a large hair in my chips, I then took them back they tried saying it was half a portion and then claimed my friend had put a hair in it! So I proved them wrong giving them the bag my food came in with the rest of the portion of chips in. Then whilst serving my fresh chips up a lady dumped them into the bag! Dealing with customers in this industry is very high, so please teach your staff, I am disgusted this happened!

Came for a quick breakfast via the drive thru, the person who took our order told us there were no sausages as they had run out which limited us as to what we could order, got to the 2nd window to collect our food and they said we could have had something with sausages it would have meant we would of had to wait for it to be cooked! Communication between staff was awful, one didn’t know what the other was doing!

Lots of wrong orders being processed. Poor quality food & a long wait due to it being busy. Cold fries are disgusting! Remind me never to eat McDonalds again.

We popped in here for breakfast after our overnight stay next door at the travelodge. Very clean and great service

Fast food should be that .Not park over there and when someone can be bothered they will come out with some hot and some tepid food and you better check it as some bits maybe missing ?

This McDonald's was handy whilst in the area, quick service and tidy restaurant. No fuss food was exceptionally good for a quick snack, glad I stopped

Can't go wrong with McDonalds, service good considering it was nearly midnight. Lots of parking, lots of seating.

We hardly ever go to McDonald's but the Ashford one stood out for its fast ,friendly service. Food was of normal standard and very hot

We have a McDonalds on a saturday evening, it's not to bad, not a very big menu. Gets a bit boring some times

Awful parking facilities you should use a different fast food restaurant. I used this restaurant and had dinner with my children on a Friday night after work. Then their mum collecting them from this restaurant and I ended up having coffee with a few friends before leaving. One week later I had a huge parking fine because I had been in the car park too long!!!! Awful service on McDonald's behalf !!!!! Its bad enough we eat their average food but now seems we have to pay a huge fine if we stay there too long. God forbid I actually enjoyed a visit to McDonald's, but when this stay costs £100 its not really worth it is it?

Our first visit to this place. It was fairly quiet when we got there so finding a table wasn't a problem. We did order at the counter and the lady serving us was friendly and helpful to make sure we got what we wanted. Always good with 2 kids.

It's McDonald's what can you say about it, it's as exciting or non exciting depending on your age and opinion, the same can be said about their food, staff, premises etc.

Modern Mcdonald's what can you say fast efficient against lacking any interaction with other members of the human race. As McDonalds go one of the better ones where you take young kids.

We went here through the drive through after leaving the cinema nearby, not being a frequent visitor t these places I found the whole process very confusing. You can't see what is on the menus until you are nearly next to them so then feel you are very rushed to choose something the staff seem caught up in rushing you through with no regard to customer service, a very robotic experience. I had the spicey vegetable burger, which I have to say was absolutely terrible, no spice at all and totally tasteless, the whole thing just fell apart when I tried to eat it, I won't be visiting here again. The rest of my party seemed happy enough with their burgers, maybe I'm just not a fast food fan and this place has done nothing to convince me other wise.

Decided to take breakfast here, as an alternative to the high cost at the hotel in which I was staying. On screen ordering, fast preparation, delicious, & decent value. What's not to like? (well, if I'm picky, the advertised table service which seemed to be non-existent).

We were on a long journey from SW France via chunnel to Suffolk. Have always been happy here, food cooked fresh so hot and fulfilling. Thanks!

We are a family who love McDonalds and we've visited many! This McDonalds was very clean and quick service. We used the self ordering system which was fantastic and the kids loved the tablets to play with. Toilets clean and well maintained.

J'ai commandé 2 fois à emporter et les 2 fois il y a eu des erreurs.... Erreur 1 : Wraps cryspy à la place de poulet grillé, Erreur 2: des wraps à la place de salades..... Sinon très bon préparé à la commande, personnel pas terrible, ils parlent beaucoup entre eux pour beaucoup et semble ne pas se préoccuper des clients.

The place has just reopened after a 4 week refit and I'm very pleased with the results. One major problem it had was a single lane drive thru which often caused traffic to back up into the main road. It's now a two lane drive thru. Inside, ordering can be done in the usual way at the counter or you can use one of the many touch screen ordering stations. Your food is then delivered to your "zone". One other improvement is that there are wifi tablets on some tables which provide games for the kids which also provide news, weather, travel and Internet access for the grown ups. Well done Macdonalds! Truly a restaurant designed for 21st Century customer needs. Very innovative. We've already been back twice since it reopened (which was two days ago )

Usual from McDonalds. Always seems busy and hard to find somewhere to sit down. No complaints about food or staff

Quick stop to refuel on family day. Clean and well maintained . Staff that clearly get on making it a nice place to be.

Having used the drive thru you get what you need and service is normally pretty fast. Food is what you expect from an Macdonalds and fills a craving from time to time. I am not a fan of the walk in restaurant part, it is to small for the number of guests it gets and both times I have been in there it's like listening to screams as it is so loud. But off course it is a family restaurant so you know what to expect. And it is food on a budget so draws big crowds.

Eingerichtet wie viele Mc Donalds. Personal war allerdings mehr mit sich selbst beschäftigt als mit den Kunden. Dadruch wurden Aufträge nicht richtig ausgeführt.

I like McDonalds occasionally and I often use the drive through to get my food unfortunately they nearly always get part of the order wrong.

What can I say, it is exactly what you expect from a McDonalds. I always have a special and it came within a few minutes of the time they specified. Inside is typical McDonalds design. Outside the building looks like an old aircraft hanger despite being a fairly new build.

Went here for an early breakfast, the food was good as always and the service was very quick. If you are going to have McDonald's in Ashford this is the best one to go to.

Its a standard mcdonalds , seemed very busy as a drive through but space inside if your eating in . clean and ok
