Quick service and good price food

Great delicious breakfast with quality meat. Not the cheapest in the village but probably the best. Small cafe though so would recommend booking.

Perfectly cooked food and very, very welcome for two hungry travellers returning from a long trip.

My order was fine but lots of people having to complain! It was a very very busy time though. On reflection I think the guys were doing a great job with how busy it was. Dealt with all the complaints quickly and efficiently!

The click and collect app loses connection on site, and had to go back outside to to complete the order

Don't order you'll get scammed and there is absolutely nothing McDonald's can do about it. You'll then contact uber eats ti receive your refund in 15 days and nobody will make any effort to make things right.

"Fast food" it says... Would've been quicker to go home and make the food myself. Took 40 minutes for 2 savers menu burgers. Staff are rude also.

Its McDonald's so you know what you are getting low score because the last 2 times I've been 1 food was half stone cold and half warm..tripple cheese burger ..took ages to go though drive though so probably the reason for this and today went though and got a chicken salad which sauce was missing from so basically 2 pieces of chicken on a load of lettice with no sauce...not good ...saying that its McDonald's so will go back as we all do 🤷🏼‍♂️

Decent McDonald's actually pleasantly surprised and food was hot not cold bonus.

ordered 2 breakfast wraps at 7:17 monday the 26th of feb both came burnt and looked like they had been out together by a blind man using his feet the tortilla was just bundled on top of all the ingredients that were just crammed in the bottom of the box

Was not good! Chips were only half full, ice cream was sloppy and melted. Had to wait ages, when it wasn't even busy, just basically everything was below par. Won't return.

Chips cold, drink warm (was a coke not a brew), nuggets also cold and hard, burger had been used as a football I'm guessing, no straws and my wife asked for only ketchup on her burger and got ketchup, mustard and mayo. Employ people who can read. Not great to be fair, luckily don't use these very often.

Getting a bit expensive for what you get

This has got to be the SLOWEST McDonalds ever! Been sat in the drive thru queue for 30 minutes as I am writing this review and still not collected food

Foods always cold, missed items plenty of times,always get told to park up and wait,when ever this happens Ive been sat for ages waiting,it is what it is,online orders take preference over drive though and in house order's

I live around Ponte, and love a Maccy's, but will avoid this one at all costs. Always order Diet Coke, yet nearly every time I ordered it there, I was given a Coke Zero. Once even told I was wrong. Drunk it a lot in the past 30+ years, don't insult me. It's also too small for the area and the traffic it causes to build up onto the main road is an accident waiting to happen. Don't like going in as it's usually full of out-of-place, miserable, middle-aged delivery drivers loitering around counters.

Staff is great but the waiting times are insane. Avoid going and definitely do not Uber order from here. Extremely long time for deliveries.

Got home to find chips missing and carmal ice cream was not just chocolate yet again

We were served by Ella, she was extremely helpful, and very approachable. She was immaculately turned out and spoke clearly and kindly. I’m celiac and she took time to prepare my order personally which was very reassuring. Amazing customer service from this employee, and she should be recognised by the franchise for her quality service! We will be back!

It's a McDs. It does what it says on the tin. It's clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't complain.

A little slow when busy (and not that busy really).

I have lived and worked in Pontefract for the past year and ordered nearly once every week from here, over 50%of my orders have been wrong and I'm not sure how to report them other than leaving a review with Uber eats which just reflects bad on the delivery driver and not the actual restaurant. Got an order tonight and not got the cheese bites I ordered so my friend didn't get anything to eat, this happens nearly every time from this particular restaurant. But not from the Castleford Mcdonald's .

Tried to order delivery twice today, both order cancelled, without any explanation

Kids work there. management don't know what they do. Miatakes with giving out delivery. Nobody care what numer is given out. Nobody care if food is prepared properly with extras - we do pay for this and we didn't get that. Waiting time at the evening shift is horrible. No customers and no people at drive through but kids have a fun in the kitchen, dont care that drivers are waiting for food to deliver for customers. And drivers didn't get paid per hour but per delivery.

I've been in a few times and every time the order is either wrong, cold or missing something. Me and my partners order was ready to collect but no one called us until we asked where our order was to be told "sorry the person who did your order has gone home and forgot to give you your order". I said no worries that's ok but my food will probably be cold plus the hot drinks. He went into the bag, helped himself to a chip and said "taste fine to me". I said it's cold and he looked at me like I'd said the worst thing

Ordered McDelivery, completely missed a happy meal off, got the other happy meal order wrong, sent no straws, no napkins, none of the dips ordered. No way to sort on the app, rang several times and nobody answered the phone. My kid is crying for his happy meal! Absolutely shocking!

Looked very chaotic behind the counter. The service was slow and the food cold by the time it was ready for collection.

Absolutely would not recommend this branch. Multiple orders waiting for drivers to deliver waiting on a shelf going cold. Food piling up and being thrown away.. and a customer requested a plant plain burger and three times got it wrong and a child was distressed after taking a bite. No leadership or any sort of structure in place...

Ordered on the app, ordered 2 plain mayo chicken, Uber driver delivered just one which i unfortunately noticed when he was gone. Rung him - no answer, txted him - no answer! Tried ringing Uber service - no answer! Tried to complain on Mcdonalds app - there isn't even such a thing! So that's how clever McDonalds and Uber is! The money for tge burger just went straight into their pocket! And my daughter short of 1 burger! Disgusting McDonalds and Uber, you should be ashamed!

Staff are always friendly and food comes out hot but the wait times especially through the drive through are unfortunately getting ridiculously long.

We had to wait a while for all the order half came first. By the time the rest of order came we had eaten over half of ours .

Very hit or miss for food. I always order food from here through the self service kiosk. With my usual order, I take a couple of things off my burger. Everytime I order, its a 50% chance they listen to this or not. Almost every other time I go here, they forget to listen to my request, and normally leave the item I wanted removed on the burger. While McDonalds food isn't that great quality, the fries from this one are okay at best. Normally very soggy and flimsy. They don't taste bad, but the texture is lacking a lot. When it comes to ordering online for delivery, it seems a lot more consistent. The only issue with delivery is they don't seem to listen to the sauces you request. For example, a 20 nugget box comes with 4 sauces - and most of the time I end up with none of them being delivered. No issues with the employees. From the limited interactions I've had with them, I've had no issues and they've served me with a smile. Overall, it's okay. If you're looking for some quick, cheap fast food and you're not too picky with what toppings you have, its probably worth popping in. Delivery is good too, so don't be afraid to order online.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place has gone downhill recently. Often a long wait for the most basic meals. Never any milkshakes which is the only thing my autistic son likes drinking at these places. Last lot of chips had 3x the usual salt it wasn't edible. Often has people complaining so not a great atmosphere. We now travel a little bit further for a much better service.

Partner bought a happy meal for for the squishmallow promotion. Got some plastic rubbish instead, when questioned the guy behind the counter said you aren't always guaranteed a squishmallow. False advertising. Plus ordered take away and was brought out as sitting in. Dream on.

Always heaving with delivery drivers, and the restaurants are so small now that it gets crowded quickly with everyone stood around where the tills used to be. My order came up on the board as ready to collect 10 minutes before they called the number out. My burger was stone cold by the time I got it. Every mcdonalds seems to be like this now.

Ordered a bacon roll with ketchup had no ketchup on it and was flat cold and disgusting when it arrived and no way to complain.

This is our go to maccies for chills on a night, it's always pretty busy but not overly busy usually. Me and all the mates call this maccies; Theresa's Maccies due to the fact a lovely lady called Theresa works here. She come to clean a table on request for us one night and made sure it was spick and span. She then made sure we were happy and had a chit chat with us. It was a slow night and I'm guessing she was bored so she ended up in-between cleaning having a good old chin wag with us for quite a while 😅. Keep up the good work.

The food had a 45 minute wait that we weren't told about before ordering meaning we didn't have time to collect our food as we had to be back in college. I lost £13 on my order that I couldn't even eat.

Waited ages for our food then once I got it home and checked the bag, my burger was missing. The ticket was inside with the full order and still missed one of the most important parts of the order which was a promotional item.

Ordered from the McDonald's app only to wait an hour and 40 minutes to get a text saying my order is cancelled what a joke. Lost all my reward points and my free stuff from the monopoly game that I had on my order. Kids are upset because they are hungry and the customer service on app is useless. Tried to ring the branch and no one answered the phone won't be bother ordering here anymore also in past I have had missing items on a regular basis this is the final straw.

I prefer to order on the app and collect via deive through I find that the quickest way to order. There is a relative quick flow of traffic when you drive through. Longest wait I've experienced was when I parked and ordered via app. Staff respond quickly and so far I haven't had only 1 mixup with my order.

No milkshakes as per usual for Macdonald's. Constant loud beeping sounds. Taking my custom to KFC or Burger King next time.

Been there 5 times in the past week and no McFlurrys or milkshakes any of the times. I have been there numerous times over the past 10 years and they never seem to have McFlurrys or milkshakes.

A 10 minute wait for an order of 2 cold drinks seems excessive. Staff were apologetic but seemed to be working at a very casual pace.

Possibly the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. Recently moved to the area- this would be our local McDonald’s. Visited 3 times- first occasion we were missing items from our order. Second time we bought breakfast and it was really poorly presented, not properly wrapped and just looked awful. Last night we tried the Mcspicy - barely any mayo in it - the burger was so dry that I couldn’t even eat it. This place literally made me not want to go to McDonald’s ever again.

There a lot of poor reviews I notice and I could be over critical but I'll try to be fair. I was there early and cleaning was starting to take place, and was needed, cleaner was lovely and polite but noticed tables were not 100% after a wipe down. Too many maccys lately are forgetting cleaning is different from wiping down. Muffin came slightly hard, which I quite liked actually, yet not how it's meant. Service staff was very good, and my order came with serviettes and sauce, which I believe is a basic requirement at maccys which some outlets too often forget. I would return.

I can't get away from the fact you sit here and the machines beep and make so much noise it's almost unbearable to have a meal inside.
