Fed up of the poor food and service at this place. Order always wrong, food always cold and to top it off I've been waiting nearly 30 minutes tonight in a near empty restaurant to be served cold food, wrong dipping sauces and bbq sauce on my big mac that I didn't ask for. Who the hell manages to cross-contaminate a big mac with bbq sauce?

Firstly customer service was rubbish didn't open window till we popped the horn and then scan card no please or how much closed window didn't say go next window got home few minutes food cold missing tomato relish cheese and lettuce and just put half teaspoon of mayonnaise

Long wait for food and can’t see any staff due to kitchen being away from till, disappointed there’s no free EV charging after refurbishing. Overall ok

If I could leave zero stars I would! Ordered through the Mcdonalds app, the order was missing items and what we did have was flat cold and inedible, I'm not about to re heat chicken as its unsafe and why should I? Called The "restaurant" to query where our missing items were? Was told to call Uber to request a refund, no help from staff and no apology! That was a performance! We did get a refund for the missing items but not for the cold food we had which ended up in the bin. Mcdonalds staff get the order ready for the drivers it should be the staff' responsibility to make sure it is correct and hot and not the delivery drivers. I wont be ordering again or visiting either!

Absolute disgrace of a place. They have one person cooking food on night. Takes over an hour and a half to receive FLAT COLD food via delivery and takes 25 mins in the restaurant. DISGUSTING

Waited 15 minutes for an order for 2. When it was ready to collect the fries and nuggets were cold, the wrap had been done so badly it fell apart and the drink was so watered down it might as well have been water

Building is freezing since the refurb, asked staff about it, just said no heating, didn't appear to care but they must've been cold too surely. Food not warm enough and it wasn't busy all, so not like they were run off their feet. ordered on app but 1 portion fries missing, it happens, it was 7 meals, not an issue but was then asked for the receipt as proof but the server had already taken back the receipt with them previously to get rest of our order. Just looked a bit confused over what they should do about it. Usually come here once a month but really put off today, all of us were disappointed

I only live 15 minutes away I just had my food delivered half my drink was gone Chip flat cold I will not be ordering from you again this is not the 1st time my food should not be flat cold wen it only 5 minutes drive not even that and to have my drink half gone I should get what I paid for I will be telling all my friends and family not to order from you.

Give them your custom and all you get in return is a parking fine!!

Well to say they've up graded not sure I like it they bring food to counter to pack an they still got order wrong wasn't happy when got all way to friends in horbury kids where fighting over the item that was short terrible

Got what I thought was a hot chocolate it was literally brown water absolutely terrible didn't realise until I got home, I wouldn't mind its only just opened after a refurb, won't be going back!

Was far better before they just ripped it out and refitted. Seating looks rubbish and look like cheap wooden hard chairs. 1 till to order , rest all self serve, Same as cathedral retail park one. Just bloody awful. Puts us off going there.

had a mcdelivery from this place, food items were missing, tried to call several times but no answer, i thought cathedral park was bad but dewsbury rd are just as bad. Nobody cares about what they are doing and orders are always wrong.

If I could give less than a 1 star I would, it’s the worse service in the world! Food is cold, orders are always wrong. Kitchen is dirty and they’re allowed to carry on like nothing has happened.

This is my local McDonald's and with2 McDonald's fans I should be happy it's so close but we do NOT use this place anymore the manager Alfie is Arrogant And very sarcastic I ordered a 35 pound order on the McDonald's app he told me it wasn't payed for after showing him it was he got snotty told me I had to pay cash as was not payed for then left me 30 mins waiting on food I'd payed twice for .. he told me the order had come up twice so gave me the cost of one meal back with my cold meal the food was un Edible flat cold and chucked in a bag he was visibley talking about me to staff after waiting nearly 1 hour from me first placing my order on app I got this food n still had to cook for the kids as this went in bin I will never use McDonald's again and as for there management team they need to rethink alfies Position as is unprofessional and very arrogant to the Customers I hope this is resolved but I very much doubt it. That's why I will not be going there again. Which is a shame because most of their staff are actually quite nice

This is most local to us. Very disappointing. Took ages to get food, then I think it had been stood there as it was all cold. I usually enjoy wraps but it was stone gold and the fries.

Absolutely disgusting!! Me and my partner have made numerous orders from here through uber and almost every time something is missing!! Uber are now refusing refund due to the amount of times THIS Store has failed to pack all the items!! SORT IT OUT!

Review updated 23/12/2023. Absolutely disgusted with the service here. It has honestly got worse since introducing MC delivery. Staff were rude with myself when I couldn't find a bay to park in while food was being brought out. You can't avoid this if you get the order delivered as Uber driver failed to deliver to the correct house. Was told we should have an order number it relates to. Order number is no where to be seen in the app. Macdonalds staff and Uber eats staff where very rude with these encounters as well. Got a refund with no apology whatsoever. Won't be using this McDonald's again. Or most of them in general for that matter. Disgusting once they have your money they don't care.

Bought 3 double cheese burgers today, and omg I think they dropped the salt pot and pepper pot in them, never had a cheese burger before and I won't be coming back

This restaurant is a joke I ordered a Mac chicken and that didn’t arrive I called them to see inset were it had gone or what had happened I was then told are you able to come to the store to collect the meal I said no I’m un able to then I was told I wasn’t allowed there name and that they don’t have to give me it so I said am I able to have my burger refunded I was then told no due to the fact that there was no proof absolute joke dont recommended at all

Mcdonald's was very good. The only problem was the queue at the drive through. Fortunately everyone was patient and courteous so the line moved quickly. The service was excellent and the food delivered was spot on and the kids loved it (as usual).

Visited this McDonald’s today while I was in the area and was chatting to a lovely staff member called Ricky who was extremely helpful and looked to love his job. It is so nice to see staff liking their job

Restaurant took my order on the McDonald's app but when i arrived at the restaurant to collect it 10 minutes later the restaurant was closed. I completely understood closing early due to unforseen circumstances but surely if this is the case they can switch off the ability to order food on their own app. (For context I placed the order at 01:00am without any issues with the app or sign the restaurant was closed, when I arrived at 01:10am to collect my food the car park entrance was blocked and the entrance door was locked with a handwritten sign on the door saying We are closing at 23:00hrs tonight sorry for the inconvenience) I was left very disappointed.

The most un accommodating McDonald's I've been to. I'm Coeliac, I can't just pay for sausage I have to pay for a full sandwich for one slice of sausage. They won't even let me pay for a slice of cheese.

The food order is always wrong and mostly cold.

Breakfast meal just shy of 6 pound... Expect a bigger bacon and sausage and egg than that for money. Could get a full breakfast from greasy spoon for that price. Only trouble none open at 5 in morning.

It's a McDonald's...a Maccys...a fast food drive through or eat in restaurant. Food is what you get for money. Feeling hungry you go here to buy food, once you've eaten it all you have finished and then 2 hours later feel hungry again. I don't know how else to explain a McDonald's to you.

Just got home after picking up Happy Meals for grandchildren to find that the meal I ordered with fruit instead of fries has neither! Very disappointed 3 year old! This was after I'd been back once as they hadn't given the mozzarella sticks I'd paid for. Third time they've left something off my order. Very poor.

It’s a joke drive through no park up, only came for a bacon and egg at breakfast time but had to park up. So did everyone after me the only one’s moving were the just eat delivery people. If that’s your new business model delivery only like Amazon then I won’t be going again .

Prioritising delivery drivers seems to be the new normal in McDonald’s. Why don’t you just close all of your stores and offer delivery only. Absolute joke waiting 20 minutes for a Big Mac and even then had to ask where it was. Staff acting like zombies, manager not managing.

We ordered lunch through the Macdonalds app for delivery. When the food arrived, there was a cheeseburger missing and the ones that did arrive didn’t have cheese! I also asked for (and paid for) extra cheese on the Big Mac that was also missing. I know it’s only fast food but you expect to receive what you pay for. To top it off, there’s no way to complain directly the the restaurant, you have to go through Uber Eats which is quite a faff! As I say, I know it’s only cheap (although not that cheap anymore), fast food and you shouldn’t expect much but at least have a bit of pride in your product, brand and location! Absolutely rubbish!!

Went through drive through collected my order got home to find burgers missing. I've found this is quite a regular thing at this restaurant. I've said for years this is the worst Mcdonald in around . I won't be using this outlet again. Always check your order people. When you employ pieces of pork this is what you get.

Incredibly rude and ignorant staff, waited 25 minutes for a £16 order and food ended up being cold and with the wrong dips and daughter got a book instead of a toy. Store wasn’t even that busy as it was a Sunday but still working at a snails pace. Staff were stood about like they couldn’t be bothered and on their phones, prioritising McDelivery meals despite not drivers being in store yet and a group of people waiting for their orders in store. When asking about getting a toy we was ignored, when we asked again got a filthy look and a curt reply of ‘no toys’. Won’t be returning, don’t bother coming here

I'm currently stood here waiting for my food and feel like people who are working need to not be stood around whilst on shift whilst others look to be pulling the weight that's been dropped. Also Lynn needs to smile and if she has a problem with another worker not to mention it in the middle of the place whilst everyone's eating and where people could hear because I did. This is at 12.51pm on 05.06.23 but I would say all the younger staff are so polite and friendly at this branch.

Live less than 2mins in a car from McDonald's on dewsbury road we went though the drive through and the time we got home food was stone cold , milkshake was like strawberry water , burgers cold , fries cold and under cooked . Now in the current time while money is tight bills are though the roof this was a family treat 17 plus pound what a disscrace .

My daughter was loving the soft play there and I was loving the coffee and food until I got hit with a parking fine 2 weeks later of £50 that I simply can't afford to pay after Christmas. This is because McDonald's is renting their real estate to cowboy parking firms in pursuit of profit over customers. Never visiting this McDonald's again and we have taken our business to the hungry horse in Wakefield instead. Disgraceful!!!!

3rd time of ordering always no straws it may seem petty but we have kids we won't be ordering again

Well just had a £24 order to which half the food was missing hasnt been opened and wasnt packed fully by the store its self spoke with the store to be told they won't do anything and would not send another driver with the food and the only thing was to get a refund off just eat and if we were to get intouch with the manager after requesting the managers details he wouldn't do anything about it and was reluctant to give his name

Been 3 times to the drive through, only wanted ice cream and milk shakes, never available, last visit they took payment and assured me they had the ice cream ( lied). Will never go there again. Terrible service.

I am extremely disappointed with our today's visit. Firstly we got wrong order and when exchanged still wasn't as per order. Then my child was asked to leave the playground when asked why they said apparently was some niddles there? Very unpleasant experience, deffo won't come back to that branch again

Yet again, the staff here have got it wrong. Not once in 5 years of me going have they ever given me an order that's spot on. Be it from giving me a take out bag, despite me clicking the 'eat in' option, or giving regular cold fries instead of large hot ones, or a tea instead of a coffee. But this time, as per usual, despite being asked what dips I wanted to go with my nuggets as I ordered at the drive through, I get home and not only have they got it wrong, there weren't any dips at all. Now, I know it's probably a good idea to check, but when the instructions are clear as day, you think they'd be able to follow them easily enough, also given how lukewarm most of the food is, I don't have time to sit and check. So, as usual, it's another normal day at McDonald's, where screwing up is mandatory!

Really bad service and food at the Dewsbury rd branch. Today I had my order returned because the food was not cooked, the food was returned the buns like rubber as thought over heated in a microwave really really bad filet o fish I have ever tasted in the last30 years. Since moving to Wakefield and getting my food from the Dewsbury Rd branch I can say I never want to eat from macdonalads again really really bad food.

2 visits now since opening just a week ago. Cold food on both visits and wrong food in bag on takeaway. Not a good start.

With any store that openers up there are teething problems yes I did have to wait abit for my order at least it was fresh and hot and the staff were very welcoming and polite give it a few weeks and it will be like any other macdonalds 🙂

I ordered beans but it didnt come with my order however,there was this ginger employee who resolved my issue before threatening me.Overall 4/5

Very bad service the drive thru was closed and I walked inside there was customers there waiting for there orders to be picked up ,and there was a lad at tills told me we not taking any orders so I want to my car and I could see more customers went in and getting served, which I found very disrespectful . @12.30am 9.12.2022
