McDonald's in Wakefield

Been here a few times but today was by far the best experience!!

I drove thru to pick up a order, I never buy the chips because they always taste like cardboard by the time I get home.

My order from the drive thru was totally wrong when I got home

I'm just not a fan but the grandkids think it's a treat.

Was very disappointed that there are no papers in here any more. If they want to make cut backs they could start with knocking the air-conditioning off. It's freezing. Staff are pleasant.

Too busy some times I drive straight back out and that where they tell you to go park up is a joke

Most incapable, unreliable and incompetent store going. Ordered the app just two mc muffins and hash browns for delivery. Didn't send a mc muffin. How hard is it when putting an order together to check the bloody receipt and the items in the bag! Only option is to go in and get the missing part of your order no good when you don't drive and especially in these conditions it seems to be this store that have lazy, incompetent staff that can't do basic things, it's always issues with this store was also flat cold when it got to me so had been sat there for a while. So the most expensive part of my order is missing.

Sick to death of the jobs worth security team not allowing people into the store after 11pm when the place closes at 12pm. It's clear that they are quite for an hour, clean up then don't allow people inside. They also close off the drive through. People are now used to using the application to order and wait outside. What's frustrates me even more is that they allow the police inside to order as normal. Bah bah bah bah bahhh... I'm hating it..!

Manky eggs and grill dog turd, my mcmuffin was that solid I threw it out the window it hit my neighbours cat and now it's dead with any luck the pests return and they shut the dive again next time I want breakfast think I settle for corn flakes last time I was this upset Keir Starmer froze my granny to death

Worst McDonald's ever. Only visited twice and not once had my online order ready in less than 25 minutes of waiting. There is nothing fast or food related at this branch.

Waiting too long when it’s not overly busy and all the food was cold and I don’t mean not hot I mean room temperature cold

Good place for kids to eat something quickly, tablets and drawing for kids to keep them occupied plus tablets, however few broken one.

Rude staff rushing taking orders then asks again then the other staff had a mood on after doing a night shift i remained civilised what was their excuse. Morning staff are pathetic.

Cold poor food, McDonald's a multi-million pound business, and you get cardboard food. Why it's popular is beyond me, won't be going ever again

If you want food poisoning and to wait an hour in the drive thru then this is the place to be.

As usual this place doesn’t understand the idea of ‘fast food’. No one manning the till inside and all the focus is on the delivery orders.

Very bad staf...I was waiting for 30 mins for a Chesburger and a Coke ...and when she's bring the order she just trow it like I was nobody..like I didn't pay for it .. and I'm delivering parcel to them every single day .. next time I will throw the parcel the same way as she did with me .. I will never eat from there again.....

Only called for a couple of cheeseburgers, around 11 am they was nice. Gers very busy around 12 weekdays tho as is near college.

Just went in to point out that when people park facing the roundabout and don't turn off their lights, they blind people.

The order was not correct, cold and 1 hour 30mins late. The arrival time was put back several times which is ridiculous when you are given a time. Will never use an again. Very poor!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed the order that came wasn’t mine totally different!! I didn’t order a quarter pounder, 2 chicken mayo’s or 4 lots of fries… my order was nearly £50!!!

Food was amazing again but thats the last twice now my burger has come plain with just crispy onions and no cheese slice or sauce which is very disappointing when im paying for a cheesy McCrispy

Ordered breakfast with orange juice. Got the orange juice and an iced coffee. No food. How hard can it be?!?

Absolute shambles of a place. I will drive on by next time. How there was no fighting in the main restaurant because of the amount of people crammed i. I have no idea. If someone is reading this review you really need to sort your restaurant out.

I thought I'd take my children to this McDonald's for lunch as a rare treat. We ordered food and sat at a table. The kids like to use the tablets but 5 out of 6 of them were out of order. Nevermind, they understand there aren't always ones available. After a while, they start asking when they can eat. The food took half an hour for 3 happy meals and a burger meal. Still, if it's taken a while you know it'll be freshly cooked right? No, it was cold. The whole place seems dedicated to serving delivery drivers, it was hard to get to the counter as there were so many milling about. I think if I had ordered online it would have been quicker to get someone to deliver to the table. There was no screen showing order numbers being processed/complete so you had to rely on hearing the staff shout over a loud crowd of delivery drivers. Several groups of customers turned away at the door after seeing the crowd, one family left after I let them know how long we had waited for food. Although we will go back to McDonald's on occasion, we will not return to this particular location.

I ordered this food around 2 and a half hours ago. It is now saying the food has been delivered and I am still yet to receive anything. I want a full refund. This is abysmal.

Food stone cold over a hour waiting for delivery to arrive to be exact it said 45 minutes but turned up a hour and 5 mins ago later. Pointless trying to get a refund as they don’t do nothing

Everything was cold and stale. Must have been made a long time ago. Burgers were a mess, chips could’ve been yesterday’s. Estimated time for delivery 30-45 minutes. Took about 70. Had I know. It was a long wait I would’ve ordered elsewhere. Completely dishonest of you to suggest 30 minutes. Absolutely appalling service!

Ordered through the drive through and was asked to park up as were many others behind me, orders were brought out to cars that were served after me. After a 20 minute wait I went in and asked for my order which looks like it had been forgotten, while I waited people were bringing their food back as they were missing burgers on big company items missing from their orders .

horrendous! will be requesting a refund. chocolate milkshake was missing and replaced with banana. fruit shoot was missing and replaced with banana milkshake. my sone is lactose intolerant so couldn't drink it. big Mac was cold and mayo chicken was completely soggy!
