Marks and Spencer Cafe in Cheshire East

What a shame it’s like Siberia in here! The menu is good and the staff and service are very good but I’m soooooo cold ! Sadly won’t return until the summer.

Called in here for a spot of lunch, walked straight out as the cold hit me as i walked in the cafe. Why have cold blowers on in winter, it actually felt icy. Don't know how the staff can work in such cold conditions as this isn't the first time it's been so cold.

Popped in here on 17th August- about 11.30 for a coffee with friends. There was a queue but I thought, not to worry, it will soon clear. 15 minutes later I was regretting my decision. At least 2 people gave up and left the queue. The reason for the delay I'm sorry to say were the 2 ladies working at the time. 1 was busily going round collecting cups when this wasn't necessary as there were plenty of cups and free tables available. The 2nd seemed to completely flustered by her need to work faster. Honestly the queue hardly moved until a younger woman arrived ( presumably from her break ) and within a couple of minutes she had made a big difference. 2 coffees being made at once, milk being frothed, money taken at the till. She took control over the other 2 and was great. Without her I think I would still be waiting for my coffee !

Coffee was luke warm, i asked if it could be warmed up, staff member said no, but could give me more milk, which was barely warm, the staff were doing their best, but more staff is needed as long wait to order, also it was freezing cold, you could feel blast of cold air, you needed a hot drink to warm you up, sadly will not be going back

Just been served the worst cappuccino I've ever drunk, cold and tasteless and also on a dirty table.

This place in nantwich is shocking . You’d think M&S could at least get a cafe top notch , but unfortunately not . Terrible service , you wait ages at the till . Either someone is in the back doing dishes or someone is cooking , they seem totally oblivious to waiting customers. They can’t do a cappuccino well and don’t dare ask for a caramel latte as just awful and expensive too . Iv never minded paying for anything if it’s done well , but bad experience over and over again , so it’s now been given a wide berth . I think the staff need to be trained in the art of coffee making and customer service !!!

Staff were friendly here, coffee was good, and the air con a welcome relief to the heat outside. Will visit again when in area.

We both ordered jacket potato’s with a mocha! I asked for mine extra hot it wasn’t even warm! Our jacket potato’s looked like they had been cooking since last weekend they were dry and hard, a very unappetising meal which we left and didn’t have our drinks either I will not be returning and the lady that served us and brought our meals looked like she really didn’t want to be there either!! Don’t waste your money!! If I could give it zero stars I would.

I’m here again. Y a I ask myself. Back to the usual sh— hole. One person working 3 standing around around like corpses. The tables are clean today. But the floors are absolutely filthy. Nobody seems to have a clue Looks like I’m going to have to resign myself that nobody cares a sh—

When shopping it is Great to have a coffee in the great little cafe inside the store we use when busy shopping in Nantwich

Everytime you visit this establishment there are always loads of tables which not been cleared they seem to be understaffed. I can't say that it stands out for value as there are such a lot to choose from in this area it is just convenient when you have done your shop.

The usual M&S standard maintained in a lovely new buiding, next to some limited free parking. Toilets. Outside seating

It is surprising and disappointing that despite having an impressive array of vegan offerings within the adjacent shop, the café does not have any vegan offerings apart from a pack of crisps. I can recommend the coffee - it is very good. I raised this with one of the serving staff who promised to raise this with M&S.
