Nice mocha - hot, and toasted t cake rest of the food - cakes - pricey Can be busy and toilets not always nice

This restaurant is always busy lunchtime on a Wednesday. I go regularly with friends. The menu is always interesting but normally something’s not available. Coffee is always delicious.

Called in on a Sunday lunchtime, long queue (to be expected at midday) but confusing to place order. Requested a decaf latte and was given a skinny decaf latte. I accepted and drank it nonetheless. Shan’t ever ask for one though - horrid.

If I'm out on a shopping trip around Milton Keynes, I usually end up in Kingston by the afternoon and gasping for a good cup of tea. M&S cafe is usually my go-to for that as anywhere else in the vicinity does not make a good brew. However I'm thinking about not going anymore because recent visits have been off-putting due to the mess left on the tables and even the seats! There never seems to be anyone cleaning and tables are left with trays from previous visitors with dirty plates and empty cups. Not only that there are drink spillages on the tables and greasy crumbs and butter smears all over the seats. This makes it rather difficult to find somewhere to sit comfortably avoiding messing up my clothes. Come on Marks, I though you had a good reputation?! Scones are lovely though.

I made an appointment for a bra fitting on 8/3/19 when I arrived for my appointment it had been double booked, not the staffs fault, I had been into the store and booked only to be told on the day that someone else was already there for my appointment that they had booked on line , Ashley was very good (exceptional) she went out of her way to make sure I was dealt with quickly and efficiently, nothing was to much for her. She is a asset to the company and feel she should be acknowledged and rewarded for her brilliant customer service, if it hadn't been for her you would have lost a sale as I would have walked out

I have been advised by a new member of Staff who has just joined M&S Team to come into the M&S CAFE to eat for my Lunchbreak as good food served, i am delighted i listened to her, i ordered the Beer battered Fish & Chips, the meal was delicious & i was impressed by the fast friendly efficiency of the M&S Cafe staff, who made me very welcome indeed. I have only in the past been to their Food area & to their Clothing department over the year's & always found the M&S staff professional & proactive, helful & informative & now thanks purely to their new female member of staff just recently joined, i have her to thank for finding me a great comfortable friendly & warm place to eat for my Lunchbreaks to relax & enjoy delicious fresh cooked food. I am really delighted & have become a "regular" ever since i had the lovely delicious mouth watering Fish & Chips & i am looking forward to trying the rest of the meals. I was also very impressed by the very modern electric hi-tech looking Oven that appears busy Baking fresh made bread/cakes. I am a great believer & lover of good fresh food..... i am really pleased to find that we have this M&S on site at KINGSTON Shopping Centre, Winchester Circle, MK > Delighted to write this Review. > Michael Cummins

Unlike many other reviews, I always find this outlet well stocked, staff helpful and cleared and cleaned in timely way. The food is the standard M&S offering but for some reason the jacket potatoes here are a cut above other outlets. Keep up the good work!

We called in at lunch time for a quick snack and it was not busy. However there was limited food available. No cheese scones, only fruit ones and very few of them. Staff were very abrupt and couldn't even say thank you. Nobody clearing tables so I ended up clearing one myself and as a final insult the seat cushions were badly worn and needed replaced. Is this really the standard that Marks expects their customers to put up with? We were not impressed.

Not the largest store, but as I was passing I popped in to look at sale items. Easy to park and pleasant store to browse in. Will use again when in that part of MK. The cafe also good value for a snack.

Called into M&S for lunch here as working locally, had a salmon and cucumber sandwich and a a red onion and cheddar packet of crips with a free bottle on water as part of meal deal. The sandwich and crisps were fine but don't really compete with a Boots meal deal which will include a sandwich yoghurt and a smoothie for about 40p more! M&S reasonable quality but overpriced!

This is a good place to get an early lunch. It's always crowded. The staff are amenable. Quite often the things on the menu are not available so have a backup choice if you get to the till and they tell you that something's not available.

Lovely spacious cafe. The staff are always friendly and very efficient. The food and drink is always excellent. Sadly there are a couple of down points. Firstly the air conditioning in the cafe is often rather cold. Also the ladies toilets are rather unpleasant; there are only 2 cubicles, one large one with a baby change facility and another tiny cubicle. There's often a queue and on this visit one cubicle was out of order.

We'd been swimming earlier and then went shopping, but decided we needed a snack to start things off. I sat at a table whilst my wife ordered. There was quite a long queue. It moved reasonably fast. There are plenty of staff here to take your order, make it up and serve you at the counter. Also, plenty of other staff clearing tables and keeping things clean. In that respect, a very well organised and run café, as well as very pleasant surroundings. For example, the tables are cleared and wiped regularly, as one thing which is bound to put us off wherever we go is un-cleared or wiped tables. The staff seem very well trained and appear customer-focussed, which is more than can be said about some similar eating establishments we patronise. The lattes were excellent, hot, did at least taste the coffee in mine (a caramel variety) and the chocolate gateau, really excellent, moist and tasty. One reason to return, surely.

jacket potatoes are very good, quick service, nice atmosphere. Staff are very helpful in this shop. Tables are regularly cleared.

Often found the counter service here pathetic. Slow, staff wandering around doing hee haw and queue like an execution but not this time. Two staff were working behind the counter - one looking after the till and the other, the drinks. Effect was - no queue. Even saw a flustered mother with sprog in tow being helped by the staff telling her to find a seat and food/payment would be sorted out at the table - a lovely gesture.

This shop resembles the interior of Charles De Gaulle Airport. Signage has not been updated to reflect the new locations of the tills, appoint which I have drawn to the attention of sales staff. Friendly and helpful staff but tills sometimes poorly staffed.

Finally found an M&S; cafe that I didn't have to wait for ages to be served.
