Great vibe at the Marino lounge. Bar restaurant with great views across the Marine Lake. Theme days with different offers throughout the week. We went for Tapas Tuesday, 3 Tapas and a drink for £13.50. Food was great, staff were excellent, a thoroughly good night out.

Lovely place, except I get a headache from the noise when its busy, because there are no soft furnishings to absorb sound. You get an echoey loud buzz. I go during the day and its quieter, so that's fine.

Food was great, and loved that we could take the dog in.

The food is good, the staff give you your space and don't hassle you, and the prices are alright too. The tables can be a bit sticky and the place can be quite loud with barking dogs and harsh acoustics.

This place has some great features, lots of art on the walls, nice matched crockery and friendly staff. Unfortunately it is let down by the food which is over priced and well below average. We had 2 cappuchinos - they were lukewarm, I think they were probably made when I ordered the food and not delivered until 20 minutes later. I had breakfast muffin with bacon, the bacon was chewy and the egg was undercooked. My partner had toast and jam, and the bread was chewy, like it had been toasted and kept warm. School dinners at bistro prices….£17+ for this culinary flop.

I visited Marino Lounge and was absolutely delighted! The meat was juicy and flavorful, with a slight spiciness and a perfect balance of spices. The rice was rich and aromatic, while the grilled vegetables added freshness and brightness. The presentation was very appetizing, showing that the restaurant cares not only about taste but also about the visual appeal of the dishes. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. Marino Lounge is definitely worth a visit – a great place for a delicious dinner! I’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just had a lovely evening here The place is nice and clean the staff are very welcoming and friendly Dogs are more than welcome A great selection of drinks The menu is vast and im sure there’s something for every taste We’re just had som lovely burgers but eaten here quite a few times now an tried a few things off the menu an they have all been very tasty So I definitely recommend here!!!😍

I've given one star for food as when we got home both myself and my partner were sick, this isn't the first time, we gave it another chance as the first time we thought it was just something else.. it's a shame because we did and always visited here, though after today we won't be, the service was good as always, staff great just we have both been ill without going into to much detail!

Really nice to go for a few drinks which we did, prices are similar to the hungry horse opposite but much better quality beverages and atmosphere.

We'd had a busy day, parked in a a random place (away from anywhere!) and needed the nearest dog-friendly place to eat - and google said this was it. Given we were tired and hungry, it was a nice surprise to find this place had such a wide ranging menu. I opted for the pulled brisket burrito and my initial disappointment that all of the things mentioned as part of this were actually all somehow wrapped inside it, didn't matter once I managed to pick up the generously fat burrito and found the brisket was delicious. Very messy to eat but extremely tasty and filling. I finished with the churros, which were nice and crisp while still being a little bit fluffy inside, which had a fab caramel/butterscotch sauce, as well as the usual chocolate one.

We were here the night before a work event in the area. Great food and beer and the service was excellent. Top venue - thank you to the team.

The large green and pink tiled sign definitely draws you into the Marino Lounge, without disappointment. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a nice location on the pier. Music can be heard from pier buskers when sat outside too, which is a plus. I ordered the smashed avocado brunch and was pleasantly surprised. Great food.

I like the food it's always good. The atmosphere and service is always excellent. Great for gog owners. There's better food at lower cost in other places.

Tuesday lunchtime. Very busy but we got a table ok. The food was really poor. I ordered the chicken, bacon and avocado burger, which was actually the best of the food we received. My wife’s buttermilk chicken was overcooked to the point of being black round the edges and rock hard. The fries were lukewarm and the slaw tasted mouldy. We have eaten in other “Lounges” around the country and always been very happy with the food, so I don’t know if this was just an off day, or if standards are slipping across the group. I did complain and got a refund on the uneaten buttermilk chicken, so full marks for that.

Visited tonight for our daughter's birthday. We dropped 2 extra guests on them last minute and they went out of their way to accommodate us - so grateful. The Lounge is quite pleasant, friendly service but don’t ever eat or drink here! The drinks prices are silly, a glass of wine costs more than the bottle in the supermarket and the buttermilk chicken is awful, rock hard breadcrumb coating over tasteless, dry meat. It’s reheated food at best. Awful.

The food and drink was delicious. But was distilled by the strange atmosphere. There was a drunk man shouting at his dog and punching lightshades. He was letting his run around the place and shouting at it. I know this cause were sat right next to him. He let the dog off the lead and told him to go then proceeded shouting and whistling at the dog who wouldn't come back. The dog even ran behind the counter where they serve food and drinks. The staff looked at the guy and did/said nothing. So, I chose to get a drink first whilst I looked at the menu. I seen they had peanut butter syrup on the shelves. My partner went up for me asked for a hot chocolate with the peanut butter syrup. They said they didn't have any. He pointed at it and said, it's there. They looked and said yea we don't have it. So he just got me a hot chocolate. When he went to tell them where we were sat the staff said yea table 8 with an attitude. We guessed this is because there was only 2 of us on a 6 seat table. We were waiting for others to arrive but I guess they weren't to know, just uncalled for really. Anyway, come to choosing food. I wanted the breakfast muffin which came with eggs. My partner asked if they used red lion eggs. All staff looked confused what he was asking and even the chef didn't know what he asking. Which really shocks me as I used to be a chef myself and you don't know what produce your using? So he ordered pancakes instead. Which were delicious and would recommend to someone, just shocked of the price of them compared to a full breakfast. Just incase this is read by a manager or staff, red lion eggs are eggs with a red lion stamped on them to show they were produced in the UK. When someone ask this its usually because the person eatting them is pregnant and are only allowed to eat British eggs 😊 Sounds far fetched and I usually just avoid eatting them rather than asking but I really fancied the muffin. I'll stick to avoiding it next time 😅 Overall, the food was really nice. I would say a tad over priced which I wouldn't mind in a nice atmosphere. Just this time was ruined by the man shouting around the place and staff being awkward.

Had an excellent New Years Day brunch here. We were seated immediately and ordered at the bar. Really good atmosphere as it was very busy. I had the “lounge breakfast” and the Mrs had her “smashed avocado on toast” quick service and nice tasty food. What more can you ask for. The orange juice especially was delicious - freshly squeezed!!

Albeit the location, ambiance is good the food and beverage was poor. PLEASE,PLEASE change tea bags to a brand the makes a brew. Mine took 20 mins and water was tepid. My bacon sandwich on toast was barely toasted and bacon so stringy. Finally wife ordered double poached egg on a toasted. Muffin, it was not toasted and got one egg, when we. Asked where the other egg was she came back with some story about it was of some second venue and only had one egg. Shame to see food standards slipping driven by portion control and inferior/cheaper ingredients

I'd like to be more enthusiastic about the Marino Lounge ; myself and my girlfriend have been going there for years, because the cool, relaxed atmosphere and vibe of the place. But lack of value for money and samey , samey menue choices are now putting us off. During a visit December '24 my girlfriend was drinking large glasses of a white wine (Savingnon Blanc) - each of these was £10.50. That's a lot for wine in what us basically a bistro restaurant in New Brighton. Next - compare the sheer amount of food provided for the same cost at the nearby Turkish restaurant - think about eg. The paltry amount of a portion of fries at Marino , little more than a handful. Next - think about the frequency with which the menu at Marino is changed- there are occasional small changes but nothing significant and where are the fish options ? An odd ommission for a seaside restaurant. I know it's a lovely place to relax for an hour or two and refreshingly welcomes dogs as well as humans; its also very good in its provision of Vegan and Gluten Free options, but I fear that it's not providing value for money compared to other restaurants ( I exclude Orezzi from this as it has similar exorbitant drink prices and small portions). So regretfully we have cut down on our Marino lounge visits abd many people I've spoken to recently, have too.

Went with a group of friends prior to a concert. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Service was mixed - particularly food with two meals coming out significantly later than the other six.

The meal arrived at an unacceptable temperature, and the service staff appeared overwhelmed and understaffed.

Lovely ambience and decor but very small meal portions. Burger buns very small, a small amount of fries which aren’t hand cut but probably from frozen and literally less than a tablespoon of coleslaw. The side of broccoli was expensive and consisted of 4 stems. The place is nice but the food is not only average but minimal.

Food is lovely and quite prompt even whilst busy. There is a nice view along New Brighton. The only issue is that when it is busy, it is very loud and people with hearing issues cannot hear the conversation at their table.

Always pop in having walked along the Coastal Path with Eira (dog) for a drink and some lunch, found staff to be always welcoming, helpful, order using the app from the table, daily specials on offer too, and dog friendly which is a bonus, recommend if your in the area

It is a nice place. It is also pets friendly so we could have a nice meal with our dog. Staff was very friendly. We had to wait over 40 minutes for our food but they were really busy so maybe that was the reason. We would definitely recommend the place and we will be coming back

Ordered a breakfast muffin, waited about twenty minutes I complained they said they were busy and it wouldn’t be long, it was and when it arrived it was cold.

Came for my daughters birthday with some picky eaters and people with dietary needs. The menu for gluten free was great. Lots of choice. And the staff were very accommodating of our picky eaters altering orders to fit to what they wanted with no issue. They were also more than happy allow us to have a cake I had brought with me. They lit the candles and brought it over when we wanted it. Our waitress also gave us a little rendition of happy birthday. ❤️ Super service, super food even better staff

It’s okay. Good service and your expected Diet Coke and juice box. We got two tapas platters (they weren’t shared) The sesame barbecue wings tasted like your mediocre frozen unflavoured unseasoned wings. The squid was extremely fishy. Not your average squid it was horrible. The steak we ordered as medium rare came very rare. We were compensated for a gluten free brownie which I’m guessing is so we don’t leave a bad review. I hope this is just a one off time as this place is recommended by friends.

Popped in for coffee and toast. It was very nice. Staff very pleasant and the place itself was clean and tidy. Saw a number of people having a full English breakfast and they looked delicious.

Arrived with my son for lunch, started to order our food and signal dropped 🤬 When it came back, re entered our order and paid. After we waited a while, I realised when the signal came back the app defaults to Martino Lounge in Morpeth - we spoke to a member of staff who joked this happens all the time and she called Morpeth to cancel order and arrange a refund. My son also emailed them giving order number and details and Vincent Robinson kindly replied confirming the refund will be sorted. Since then, after repeated requests, no response and I wonder how many others have been ripped off Currently raising this as a dispute with my credit card comply My advice, don’t us the app and order food from the bar As to the food, average at best but expensive. Would I return, never

Great place, great vibes and great staff

Nipped in to grab some some food while getting some emails sent out. Ordered using the qr code system which was simple and easy. Staff where courteous and efficient. Couldn't of asked for more for a reasonable priced meal with good service

Great place but can get very busy

We’re regulars at Marino, often before a film at the Light. Have worked our way through most of the menu, tonight we tried the steak. Was absolutely lovely, paired beautifully with the Malbec, proper Friday treat. Staff as always are friendly and efficient, highly recommended.

Ordering the food through the app was quick and easy, it arrived quickly and was tasty. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very chilled out.

Food was nice and served quickly. It could have been a little bit hotter though. I had a burger which was super tasty. The coleslaw on the side was only a table spoon, I expected it to be a proper salad. Fries were really nice. I can recommend this place if someone wants a quick bite to eat.

Visited Marino Lounge last week because it is dog friendly. My son and I ordered the beyond meat burger, with onion ring and Halloumi fries to share. The burgers were tiny in the buns and they were dripping with sause, sooooo messy to eat, the fries came in a small tea cup sized bowl and the coleslaw was dry and tasteless. There were three halloumi fries and five onion rings, again very little taste. Just under £50 with two drinks! The dog left with a full belly! Won’t be going back!

The wife and I, plus small dog, had a Tuesday lunch here yesterday. It was busy but not packed. Both food and service were excellent. The steak was thick yet perfectly cooked, done just as I asked.

Busy place but nice atmosphere. Dog friendly, too. The food was great and didn't have to wait long. Prices are reasonable. Good choice of drinks , beers, etc, and soft drinks. Staff pleasant and helpful. Also they asked if we had any allergies.

Never been before I went with family and the halloumi burger was amazing. The children's meals are fabulous also. Good size portions and for hummus, crudites and a meal with a side salad and a drink it was a really decent offering for a 2 year old.

Nice little bar/restaurant. Had to amend my food as I'm not a fan of the selection of sauces on offer, which made the burger a bit dry. But everyone else in my party really enjoyed their food.

Visited for lunch recently with my gluten intolerant nephew, he really approved of the gf buttermilk chicken and his brownie. Our tapas was lovely too. The two waitresses were fun , friendly and helpful. I regularly use the Brasco lounge in Liverpool and it’s nice to know New Brighton rivals it for service :)

Always a great time at Marino Lounge

This is my go to place to eat. Food is good and lots on the menu, service and atmos always on point. Fair price as well. Don't forget they will give you a separate gluten free and veggie menu if you ask.

Lovely place to have a pint and lunch, and the staff are very nice and attentive . Good wheel chair access and easy to move around inside. The restaurant is very clean and well presented with a nice design that has you looking around at all the different things on the walls . Overall, I would definitely recommend it, and they serve a good pint 👍🏻 .

Beautiful decor, allows dogs, food is freshly made and very tasty, range of flavours. Keep going back as it's a lovely place.

Popped in for lunch whilst taking the kids and dogs for a walk in New Brighton and wow oh wow we will be returning again staff were brilliant it was so busy so unsurprisingly there was a little wait for food but staff were so apologetic and the food was worth the wait kids portions are bit and the food was delicious defo recommend calling in for food and dog friendly

Maybe we caught you on a bad day but can't say we had a good experience at lunch. Obviously very busy and the only table we could get hadn't been cleared. Went to order food and drinks at the bar and asked if someone could clear the table for us. Plates and cutlery were moved but the teapots, cups and saucers weren't. We had to ask again about 15 mins later before they were removed. As for our lunch. The food was awful. We ordered fish finger sanwiches without lettuce and tartare sauce. We asked for the fish fingers to be put on bread and butter. The bread was stale and there was no butter on it. They did bring us butter when we asked for it. I won't be returning. If you can't get a fish finger butty right heaven help us if we ordered a fully cooked meal. Also very expensive at £35.40 for 3 fishfinger sandwiches and 3 small glasses of pop. Could have got far better value at Greggs.
