Marino Lounge Restaurant in Wirral

Lovely place to eat lunch or breakfast by the prom and my Shakshuka was lovely.

It's certainly a pleasure visiting and eating (the food is always great) and drinking (coffees and teas) in Marino Lounge and the staff are so totally pleasant

I had a great evening here with my friends. It has a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a fantastic menu. They also had a variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The only thing was that a round of drinks was a little expensive. However, I will be back here again ☺️

Potentially could be great. However. Fairy long wait for food, the waitress wasn't the happiest & the table was sticky. The food was ok. Had a cheeseburger with chips and coleslaw. The burger was tasty enough, but the chips were very greasy and the coleslaw portion was tiny! The atmosphere was pleasant. In summary, it was ok, but nothing to write home about.

Lovely food, polite staff plus dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Always let down here. Terrible staff service.

Chefs are bullies and cannot take responsibility for their errors. Basically made the server cry for asking for our food to be corrected. Had a dry cold half burger returned with cheese ‘added’ and not melted after pointing out it wasn’t on my £15 burger. They made my friend wait 40 mins for a dry burger after hers wasn’t made properly. Appalling idiot bullies. I would give no stars if I could.

The staff are lovely here and very helpful. The food is sometimes really good but sometimes not that good. I like sweet potato fries, but this time, they were quite burnt. Admittedly, I did not ask for a new portion, but It was so busy, it had taken a while to get the food (not the fdult of the staff). I don't really like the fact that you can't book in Marino Lounge (or in the other Lounge restaurants), because when you go, you don't really know if you're going to get in and if you're on foot, it can be very inconvenient. I'd rather know whether or not I am going to be able to eat there or not before I go there.

Great place to meet up and service and food is good too.

Love the breakfasts here they are so different. Always have a great time the vibe is lovely.

The tapas tray is lovely, as is avocado smash and the veggie breakfast. Staff are friendly and courteous, especially the older lady with the tattoos. Reasonably priced and the virgin mango colada is super refreshing on a warm day. 😋

Great little place. Dog friendly 🐕! Food was pretty good for the price - same for the drinks! I Was served by a young blonde lady who didn't seem too thrilled to be there, but that's hospitality for you I guess lol!! Highly recommend.

Great food and service. Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly. I pretty much always go for the tapas but everything else I have tried has been good as well.

Staff all gathered behind the bar talking avoiding eye contact with paying customers. Took 15 minutes to get a menu. Food took quite a while to come out. But the desert took 40minutes to come out after we had finished mains and said we were ready for the pre-paid desert with the QR code on table. Clear lack of management, regarding efficiency with staff. Certainly no regards for the customer on this occasion. Food wasn't bad, but definitely had been victim of being sat on the side waiting for service.

Great place for a Full English Breakfast!

Very nice breakfast if a little pricey, full English £10, but have to say that the sausages were amazing. Price has not put us off, I suppose the old saying is true you only get what you pay for.

We went last night and I was very impressed. All staff that dealt with us where pleasant and polite. Food quality was perfect and very nicely presented and was spoiled for choice for what draught alcoholic drink I wanted ! We will definitely be back ! When a place is busy on a Wednesday night you know they are doing something right !

Beautiful place to meet friends and have a meal. Great staff. The vegan menu could do with some new ideas. Once you've eaten everything 12 times, you're in the mood for something new.

Had a fantastic birthday meal last night with my wife and daughter. Food was amazing, I had the cowboy smashed burger, and the ladies had chicken burgers, one with bacon and avocado, and my wife had the chicken Kiev variation. Everything was spot on and I love the Brixton pale ale they serve there. Great quirky furniture and decor. A bit like going back in time to your nans house, but brilliant atmosphere.. Overall, can't recommend the place enough.

I've eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and have to commend the kitchen as I can't fault the food. The vegetarian breakfast has had a bit of thought put into it and is spot on. Friendly service, interesting views, fair pricing, and decent coffee. Give this place a go.

Despite being busy, got a seating area for five of us . Food was OK, coffee great. Not sure I personally like the presence of dogs in an eating establishment. 🤔

Went with my daughter and two grandsons. Nice and pleasant atmosphere, food was tasty. Nice place to have a catch up.

Absolutely wonderful dog-friendly restaurant with an expansive gluten-free menu. The food was delicious (maybe a bit less so for the spice-averse like my mum!) and the staff were incredibly helpful when it came to ordering allergy-safe food. I always feel very safe eating here as someone with multiple allergies, and my one and only critique is that I wish they delivered so I could enjoy their food even more often!

Different menu yo what I've seen elsewhere and all the better for it. Staff could have been a bit more attentive I'm clearing dishes away but otherwise very good.

Far too dark, can't even see tge plate, let alone what you are eating. Food took ages to come and big spaces in orders arriving. There were about 18 of us and we were put on a narrow table about 20 foot long; you couldn't even see the people at the other end in the very low light, let alone talk. It was very stuffy and very hot in there too. Food was very good but not enough of it for the price; mains were like starters. When we came out, all the other bars/eateries were all lit up sensibly Won't be returning!

We had a fabulous family gathering. We have been here be. Fabulous food. Only one thing that lets this place down the cost of the soft drinks.

Great Avocado & poached eggs on ciabatta. Very poor fish finger sandwiches. Just 2 slices of very thick bread with fish fingers inside. Not appetising to look at. Lovely place but FAR too many dogs!!!

The Marino lounge is one of my favourite places to visit, when there’s space as it is usually busy, especially on weekends. But the food is always lovely and I really recommend their milkshakes, staff are often really friendly too.

This is a dog-friendly-restaurant, so you need to expect to see lots of them in there. We did and there were. Perhaps too many for real relaxation but the place was buzzing. It was packed which gave it a great atmosphere. The food was served quickly and was very tasty and very well priced. The staff were friendly and helpful

Maybe as it was December, it was busy to the point that the service wasn't the best. we were also asked to move tables for a bigger party and put by the door so it was drafty every time it opened. All the Christmas specials were not available but the food was nice that we ordered. Would try again, but maybe summer.

Lovely place, great atmosphere (though very happy dog at next table). Only fault was we had lounge eggs and the bacon was overcooked , really hard not even crispy but the rest was delicious. Would not stop us going again!! ❤️

Great all round apart from the dogs

Have eaten here in past but been a couple of times recently and been impressed . Loved the 3 dish tapas and also a yummy flatbread dish . Good service and nice welcoming atmosphere. (Much nicer than Hungry Horse which we did consider but one look inside was enough!)

Excellent first time visiting here-tasty food, good and courteous service. A tad drafty near the door leading out to the front, but wouldn't put us off returning here.

Our go to place in New Brighton now. Food always good and it doesn't feel like a chain. Not cheap, but menu offers more than just burgers...

Portion sizes have definitely decreased over the past few months, having been here to order the usual breakfast options on a regular basis over 4 years. Challenges facing the sector are being passed on to consumers, so now I'd say it's too expensive for what it offers which is a shame. Service remains excellent though.

The Marino Lounge is a special place. I go for coffee, bacon butties, lunch, afternoon tea-top-up, dinner + ... The staff are friendly & efficient & parking's easy too. Recently a friend & I met there for lunch. We both had the chilli - delicious. Go. You will love it. Enjoy.

Had brunch here last week very busy and popular place. Had the eggs Benedict and it was really nice.

Just popped in for a quick drink that's the only reason I have not rated the food. Very nice atmosphere and decor quick service will try a meal next time I visit.

Generally visit at least once/twice a month to meet up with friends. Venue is dog friendly and staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food is always well presented, and delicious. Pricing is reasonable especially for the quality of the food. I certainly recommend the lounge burger!

Food is nice, some of the staff don’t like dogs though and with it being dog friendly they should maybe apply for a job elsewhere haha

Nice chilled relaxed vibe, atmosphere was cool and relaxing. Food was delicious and tasty. Plenty of dishes to choose from.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime and it got quite busy after we arrived. Five of us (one vegan) all had different meals and all happy with what was served. £70ish for all food and drinks.

Most staff are rude and walk round with frowns on their faces. The lady hosting was so rude to me, dismissed me and walked away mid conversation. When I asked for an extra chair for my child she said can we not squash onto the bench instead (even though there were spare chairs next to us not at tables). Food is good though just a shame you feel like an inconvenience being there.

I can highly recommend Marino Lounges breakfasts. Nice fresh and tasty food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Dog friendly with bowls of water and treats. Located on New Brighton front, this is a nice little place.

This place was a disappointment. The food was inadequate. The plate was chipped, found hair in the food & wasn't what was expected. The service was slow. The atmosphere was cold

Me and my twin went in recently for our birthday. Our experience was 11/10. From being greeted on the door, to the vegan menu offered and the food. Not only that but the service was amazing and so attentive. We had such a great time, especially with it being dog friendly! I went back the week after with my parents they loved it! My new favourite spot for excellent vegan breakfast! We had the big vegan brunch and it was well worth the money we finished every last piece 😂♥️ Can’t wait to take the boyfriend next!!

Went into Marino lounge restaurant today the 28/12/23 for food after looking for somewhere to eat and we thought it might of been to late to get food as it was 9.20pm but found this great place to eat and we wasn’t disappointed the food was spot on and the lady who took my order was very friendly and so was the other lady with the brown her both came to our table and asked if everything was ok very friendly and great customer service and as someone who works on a bar in Liverpool they made our experience to the restaurant worth it definitely be going there again if anyone is looking for somewhere to go for good food go to this place on new Brighton front

I don’t leave reviews often but I could eat here every week! Lovely vegan options and affordable for what you get! Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly, sometimes can get a bit busy though.

Disgusting lunch! Sloppy kitchen staff. 2 x Shakshuka @ £9.75. This dish is supposed to have crispy chickpeas in it, together with poached eggs. Well, no chickpeas and the poached eggs were hard boiled eggs. After complaining, our waitress saw immediately it was all below their usual standard, she said. A second attempt was made and the result was a small plate with loose lukewarm chickpeas, straight from the tin it seems and runny 'unpoached' eggs in the bowl of Shakshuka. We doubt this Lounge outfit's kitchen staff is seriously interested in preparing edible food. Not the first time we experienced rubbish quality food in the Marino Lounge, previousle we were served horrible dry powdery chips, which probably were left standing for some time. Other folks report similar problems, according to Tripadvisor and Google reviews. We will not spend a single penny there ever again, with their obvious total lack of quality control; the Marino's management should realise they are giving the Lounge chain a bad name.

Absoluty amazing came to.new brighton to see a concert we were going to the greek restaurant it was closed so came here wow so happy this place is amazi g the staff were 10 out of ten the food 10 out 10 an the price 10 out of ten its was amazing we will deffo be back the decor was so quirky too keep up the good work wud recomend this place to anyone plz try it 👍👍👍👍

First time here after my wife told me how nice it was on her many visits without me. Got to say, yep loved it. Busy but great service, no big delay and everything as it should be when it arrived. Had breakfast, will be back soon for tea and cocktails booooom 😎😎😎😎

Very accessible, including good toilet, for a wheelchair user. Buzzing atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Really enjoyed the pancakes and coffee.

Service great atmosphere lively food good however 3 cauliflower florets £4.55 really!!! Did mention to member of staff that we felt this was very poor value for money hopefully they may double the quantity

This is a nice and cozy place to eat! I like going for the tapas, they have a nice homemade raspberry lemonade/pink lemonade. The atmosphere can feel a bit dark at times but that's just builds onto the cozy aspect of it. Overall I like this cafe/lounge and I love coming with my dog. They're also very dog friendly and provide dog water bowls.

The food is always great quality and the staff are so friendly. Plus it's dog friendly!
